I have flipped over the "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" het pairings, even though I've never played the games (although my sister's told me about them, and read stuff about them.) I'm serious. I've fallen for Maya/Phoenix, Godot/Mia, Gumshoe/Maggey, Larry/Adrian, and these two...

I am so fed up with fans making Miles gay. C'mon! Guys wore frills back in the days. He's just old fashioned.

So, I drew Franziska claiming him, and guarding him from the yaoi fangirls.

I apologize to any yaoi fangirls who like Edgeworth being gay, but I sure as hell don't. Guys are so much sexier being straight.

Okay ive been sketching al lday and i feel like i wasnt really gettign anywhere, so i was playing aorund with fireworks and came up with these. Playing cards Ace Attorney style.

Hello everyone, ^_^

How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! Phew! I thought I'd never get this piece done, but here it is, at long last!! As seen in the previous sketches of this work found in my scraps gallery
and this is the final, hand painted version of the Yu-Gi-Oh and Ace Attorney game series crossover that I've been working on lately! I hope that you like it! ^_^

So what can I say about this image? I mentioned some of my thoughts in the descriptions of the sketches above. As I stated then, the idea for this image came to me rather unexpectedly during a discussion with my younger brother Alex. It is important to note that I have been an enormous fan of Yu-Gi-Oh for quite some time, as seen by many of the other works in my gallery. I will also admit that I am quite enamored by the character of Yami Yugi aka Pharaoh Atemu/Atem, as I believe that his confidence and charisma could win over anyone; maybe even the arrogant Fransizka von Karma!

Truth be told, I meant for this image to be more of a joke rather than anything else. I am in *no* way saying that I believe the characters of Yami Yugi and Franziska von Karma should be together; rather that it would be an interesting sight to see them interact! In my image, I have my rather humorous interpretation of what would transpire if they did in fact meet, and if Yami Yugi was able to best Franziska, and especially that infamous whip of hers!

I also mentioned these thoughts in the sketches above, but I do believe that Franziska would be quite shocked if someone were to catch that cracking whip that she is often seen using! Given that no one in the entire Ace Attorney game series has been able to accomplish this feat, I thought it would (for the sake of this parody) most certainly spark an interest in the young woman, as seen by her inner reaction on the far right! and her newly perceived view of the confident king as seen by the "sparkly" image on the bottom left.

As I continued to work on this piece, I found myself more and more amused by the concept, so I decided to include reactions by other Ace Attorney characters! On the top left I have Lotta Hart, who I thought might take the opportunity to photograph the unlikely meeting! Knowing that she had attempted to be both a paranormal photographer and one who attempted to capture images of celebrities in scandolous situations, I thought the meeting between Yami Yugi and Franziska could possibly satisfy both lines of work, given the paranormal circumstances regarding Yami Yugi and the possible celebrity status of Franziska. In short, I would think that Lotta would definitely find potential profit in taking such shots, again if this were to occur at least.

Next up I have little Pearl Fey at the top middle of the image. I can recall that Pearl wasn't too fond of Franziska, as she herself stated, especially given that Franzy wanted to convict Pearl's beloved cousin Maya for a crime that she didn't commit!! But on the other hand, Pearls was often quite taken with stories about love and affection and regardless of her personal feelings about Franziska, I think she'd be tickled pink by the concept of such a "fateful" meeting between Franzy and Yami Yugi; as seen in this image at least.

On the bottom left, hiding behind the profile of Yami Yugi, I have Larry Butz. In the third game of the Ace Attorney series, Larry had taken up art and would often pester Franziska about modeling for a children's book that he wanted to create. Most of the time this would only annoy her and she would use that whip of her against him multiple times! But if such an occurence such as this image were to in fact happen, I'd wager that Larry'd definitely take advantage of the situation and sketch the stunned Franziska to his heart's content! And if he was still afraid of her reaction to him doing so, hiding behind Yami as he jokingly is within my image, would given him all the protection he'd need to continue with his work!

Next to Larry I have Adrian Andrews. I have heard of many different interpretations regarding her relationship with Franziska von Karma. One of the most popular is that the two could possibly be involved, or at the very least that Adrian herself was interested in Franziska. I don't know for sure if this is true or not, as the nature of the relationship remained vague, other than Adrian wanting to emulate the strong willed Prosecutor, Franziska, but for the sake of the image, I thought it would be funny if she were heartbroken over Franzy's sudden interest in the Egyptian king.

Moving along, I also included the tombstone of Franziska's father, Manfred von Karma. Seen in the first game of the series, and the spin off Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations, I figured, that if Manfred were to know about his daughter's interest in the leather clad Yami, he certainly wouldn't be pleased by the news..... Maybe it would be due to the way Yami dresses, or maybe his overall look in general, but I think that such knowledge would most definitely make him roll in his grave!

And finally I have the WTF look that I have on the last character within this image, Miles Edgeworth. I have also heard about various takes on the relationship between Miles and Franziska. Some people believe that they have more of a brother/sister type of relationship, while others believe that they could possibly linked romantically instead. Whatever the case, I also don't think that Miles Edgeworth would approve of Franzy being smitten by Yami Yugi, hence the reason I have that shocked look upon his face! However, I thought I'd leave it to the viewer to interpret *exactly* what his reaction is!

And there you have it everyone! Again, I definitely had a lot of fun creating this image, especially since I haven't done chibis in a long long while! Once more, I urge viewers not to take the concept of this painting too seriously as I merely meant to be fun and random. I am also known to do a yearly crossover piece regarding the characters of Yu-Gi-Oh and though I usually do one with Sailor Moon (which I may still do in the future) I thought this would be something that would be both different and enjoyable!

This image killed me, even if it wasn't really that hard to do. My photoshop is so laggy and my computer hella lags at the same time, so two laggy things = not happy jennifer. Anyway, I put texture over it to show my total inexperience with coloring (light source? what's that)... and ugh. I just... am not in a good mood this week. I feel so annoyed with everything. It's terrible because it's also Thanksgiving today, which makes it sooo ironic because I don't even feel thankful for a lot of things right now.

But I really am thankful for lots of things. My family and their safety, my safety, my boyfriend and all my friend's safety. It's one of the most random little things that I'm thankful for, but I know it's important. Especially in LA. None of us are sick or have any diseases, we're not financially in trouble, we may have some family drama but it's not as bad as you'd think, we have a roof over our heads, food to eat, and clothes to wear. There are so many things that we overlook in our daily lives and take for granted.

Anyway, hope ya'll have a Happy Thanksgiving.

AA x Pkmn - Vine Whip

Another Ace Attorney (Phoenix Wright) x Pokemon comic!

This idea came before Paycut actually, 'cause it's so obvious that Franziska's whip = vine whip

The initial idea was a 4koma like the other one, where she whips some witness on the stand (either Larry, or someone), or maybe Gumshoe. But I feel bad for picking on Gumshoe already.

And then I remember in JFA, Franziska whips poor Phoenix so much that he actually faints. Twice. [once in 2-2 when he rubbed in her loss, and once in 2-3 if you select the wrong answer XD]

So I ended up with this. Poor Phoenix chooses the wrong answer, and Franziska gets so mad she keeps on whipping until Nick faints.

Their levels are based on their ages in JFA. Phoenix has high HP 'cause he has to, to endure all the abuse he gets ;__;

I'd love to do more of these, since I've got plenty of Pokemon move ideas... 'cept they take entirely too long >__<

For those of you keeping up, I added my last three chibis to this set and it is FINISHED! We've got Phoenix Wright; Maya, Mia, and Pearl Fey; Larry Butz; Miles Edgeworth; Dick Gumshoe; Franziska von Karma; and Diego Armando/Godot!

Some of you may have seen these as I was working on them with the Works in Progress I posted on my tumblr - I'm attempting to post things as I work on them, so you can see what I'm working on before the final product gets posted here!

Quite a few years ago, my little drawing group was doodling a lot of PPG/RRB fanart. One of our joys was to draw ourselves in "Puff-form", as we called it. Pretty soon we were drawing other characters in Puff-form. When I was flipping through our old art yesterday, I came across them, and since I'm currently stuck on Ace Attorney, this is the result.

Done in one day, could have finished faster if not for the distractions of Tales videos (Mikki, I blame you XD). Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Intuos 3. And I am guilty of using the Ellipse tool. ONE DAY I SHALL BE ABLE TO DRAW THOSE HEADS WITHOUT IT.

So I finally filled it out. I didn't expect to have it be about Phoenix Wright back when I made the meme, but that's what I felt like drawing, and I had some good jokes to go with it. Well, in my opinion, anyway.

Regarding each part (I advise reading these after reading the meme itself):

1 - Was tempted to transform Edgeworth as Phoenix suggested, but Phoenix is a more amusing target.

2 - What's scary is, based on Maya's comments throughout the games, her trying this sort of stuff out on Phoenix isn't the least bit far-fetched.

I only skimmed the text of my own meme and realized I had failed to show her transforming someone after I had drawn and grown attached to it, hence why part of the instructions are crossed out.

3 - My intent was to make a joke about Larry's womanizing and being enamored with himself, but it sorta sounds like (s)he's hitting on Wright... o_O

I'd like to see mini-Franziska in court, mostly because I assume she would still intimidate everyone.

4 - I didn't make her say it, but I can't help but picture Iris making an inquisitive meowing sound here.

5 - I consider Phoenix's jealousy of how Mia is treated to be canon, though I think this would be more of a "look on the bright side" aspect of this scenario rather than at the forefront of Phoenix's mind.

6 - Larry's face here is an amalgam of many faces he makes in the games. It just might be one of the scariest things I've ever seen.

7 - Phoenix's devotion to Edgeworth, particularly in the first game, borders on--oh, heck, it IS obsession. There's something going on there, but I'm not sure what. There's plenty of evidence that Phoenix likes women, so it's wide open to speculation. I'm a fan of people simply being really good friends (SAM AND FRODO ARE JUST CLOSE BUDDIES!), but still...

In Edgeworth's case, I like the idea of him being gay. If that were confirmed as canon, I'd be happy with it. More likely, though, there'll be a female love interest in his upcoming game who will ENRAGE ME.

((incidentally, if you post spoilers for that game here, I WILL hide your comment and sneer at you menacingly))

8 - If you haven't played the games, this might seem entirely gratuitous, but I assure you it is 75% gratuitous at most! I don't know if Maya would actually be happy with this sort of development, but I'd rather draw a happy Maya than a distraught Maya, so happy she is.

9 - I know it's my own meme and I put the instruction on there myself, but I'm terrible about tagging people. If you see this and want to fill out your own, you will, so chibi Franziska for the finale it is!

Most of the colors were taken directly from the sprites, which may explain the weirdness of some colors. Main body colors were mostly custom, but I had a hard time with Maggey and Gumshoe. I was going to shade but this took long enough as it is.

Okay okay, this is pretty much a bastardized version of the original meme, but I just had to do it after playing the game, just to get it all off my chest, the many things that could be sketched, heheh... If you didn't notice already, I REALLY liked this game. It's different from Phoenix Wright, which is to be expected with WALKING! But also being able to be in Edgeworth's mind- I have a really dry sense of humor, so Edgeworth's humor clicked perfectly with me, not to mention the other hilarious parts of the game as well! It just felt fitting to do this meme after beating the game, which added up to about 35 hours of play for me, all pretty worth it. I guess I should just explain my incredibly overdone meme now. xD I couldn't find the original meme, so I took someone's and erased over to use it! Thank you !

1. I always joked with my brother how Prosecutor sounds like the word Prostitutor back in the day, so it felt necessary here. xD

2. I couldn't pick one character, I really couldn't. Edgeworth could be so cute at times with his total lack of street smarts, but also be incredibly smartass-y at times, plus his chemistry with Kay about how he hates criminals and her being a "thief" really develops, not to mention it's just plain hilarious when she thinks of stealing his precious prosecutors badge. Gumshoe is dopey at times, but that's what makes him lovable! His chummy relationship with Kay is quite adorable, and when Edgeworth & Gumshoe were "reuniting" with Kay... I really felt like I was in a long time reunion as well. Franziska was always awesome in PW games as an antagonist/friend, but seeing her in here let her be even more human than usual, considering that her and Edgeworth have lived together many, many years and have a close bond. Plus whipping people is pretty cool too.
...I wish I had a whip. Anyways! Interpol Agent Shi Long Lang is an incredibly hot interpol agent, and while slightly brutish, he's pretty darn smart and loyal to his men (The "birthday" comment got me so bad. xD) so you can see where he gets his seniority from. He seems like a complete douchebag in the beginning, with Lang and Edgeworth butting heads a lot, but by the end... Well, he's awesome. I'll say that. Example: He does three awesome things in a row while BEING SHOT IN THE LEG. His and Edgeworth's "School nerd vs. School Bully" rivalry is really something, especially considering how he changes by the end.
"Lang Zi says: Before biting the neck, one must first rip off the neck brace." ...Or something like that.
...Oh and Colias Palaeno. I loved him for the fact that he's for once the only witness in Ace Attorney history that hides nothing from you. I seriously thought he was the murderer, and then felt incredibly bad for thinking that much later. He's just a cheerful ambassador who gives you free coupons, and helps you in any way possible when you investigate in Case 5! I was so embarrassingly happy for him in the end...

3. Case 4 was the mirror reflection of my brother and myself, with how Edgeworth and Franziska would bicker among each other, but still agree together and act like each other when faced with new people and problems. I was always the superior one who would get my brother to bow for me, and my brother was the one who made fun of my height compared to his, which by the way, is hilarious when things like that happen in the game: "E: Can't you see across the window? F: ...! *Whip* E: (I guess short people have feelings too...!)" and "F: ...Or I'll lash you in the back, Miles! E: (Nonsense. You'd need a step ladder or 3 before you get anywhere close.)" ...or something like that. I just really enjoyed seeing them being young and bickery, especially Edgeworth, before learning the truth of DL-6... That irony, with how much he idolizes Von Karma is sad, in a way. Young Kay was also extremely cute, as was Frany, with her riding crop and outfit. (I'd totally wear it.) Calisto Yew was also gratingly cool, in a way, but then Case 5 threw all of my sympathy for her out of the window, for good reason. Detective Badd also grew on me by the end, because he truly was a badass, and I wish I had at least drawn him on here as well! He was so badass that he shot down young Edgeworth by staring at him.
Case 3 was simply the amazing Badger family, and all of the crazy shenanigans happening in a kidnap-murder in a police sponsored theme park. And we meet Kay and Lang and Shih-na as well! Edgeworth gets briefly kidnapped. Plus, Ema Skye has a rather nice cameo, if a little short, but it's somewhat made up for the fact that she'll show up in the 2nd game too. And that part, where Lang disses logic, and Edgeworth seriously is about to go and beat him up for a second there before getting blocked by two agents, no joke. Never diss the legal system in front of Edgeworth. And let's not forget the Proto Badger either. I was so scared when it popped out of the trapdoor.
Case 5, aka Mile Edgeworth: Ace Fanboy.
Seriously, it crushed Edgey to realize that his hero that he got an autograph from was played by his idiot best friend on stage. And let's not forget-
Larry: "I'm going to get the bad guy with a single thrust of my Samurai Spear- E: OBJECTION! Go away!" and-
"I will never acknowledge you as the true Steel Samurai!"
Heh, oh, and the South Park thing had to happen, those who played know well why. Ah, I hated that Allebahstard...
And let's not forget that Scooby Doo reference at the end either...

4. Maggey Byrde and Gumshoe are extremely cute, no doubt, especially the fact that Gumshoe will act like a complete idiot to save her in any given trial.
I'll admit, at first I wasn't quite there with Edgeworth and Franziska, because at this point they still have a sibling relationship because of living under Von Karma's household together for a while, but after a while it just really seems like they'd be a great match, if things change! It's cute, Franziska's need to best Miles, and he even makes fun of it at times!
Lastly, I don't actually ship Kay and Edgeworth or anything, but I absolutely love their relationship throughout the game, their Father-Daughter relationship. It's probably why I like Kay a bit more than Maya, because I relate to her a lot. (No, I'm not a thief though.) Edgeworth acts exactly like my father, very dry, smart, good looking and gramps-y, but always looking out and worrying for his "daughter", to which I like to poke my dad a lot and suggest crazy things to mess with him, but at the same time, we both are on the same page when it comes to logic, and brainstorming together, much like how Kay can always keep up with Edgeworth's logic and make good input together. (That's probably the biggest reason I like Kay more so than Maya, because Maya was always a little daft at times, and still a bit immature (But still funny!), while Kay seemed pretty smart and calculating on her own, probably because she has to if she wants to be good as a thief!) Especially that part where Kay tells Edgeworth that talking to him is like talking to her father again. That really got me... I usually never relate to any of the game characters, so to have this happen twice in one game was amazing to me!

5. You know they'd be BFFs. Spiritual channeling and security breaking is bonding. Gant and Alba would be swimming buddies of course!

6. Heh, I'd like to say that I'm exaggerating, but that bondage picture is exactly what happened. And STAB WOUND! Of course, I cracked up at Edgeworth's escape route as well. xD Plus, his new mating call: "NNGGHHOOOOOOHHHH" And Cammy Meele, who I had drawn, but thought it looked a little too slutty DESPITE ONLY DRAWING WHAT SHE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE. My brother would be in heaven if the flight attendants dressed like that!

7. It's exactly what I thought, when I saw Phoenix's cameo in a rowing boat on a background lake. That's gotta be how Phoenix transports himself. My dirty mind also imagining what would've happened had young Edgeworth turned around before getting kicked... Looks like Von Karma won't have to erase the Edgeworth bloodline after all!

8. I loved that part, so much. Proto Badger also gives children pleasant dreams.

9. Like I said, he is a pure closet fanboy, and despite not getting sleep for two days, he'd totally take those "donated" Steel Samurai tapes courtesy of the Codophian Embassy.

10. I noticed the number was wrong, and I had to do it. In the game, Lang, with his hate of prosecutors, seems like he always wants to kick Edgeworth in the crotch, physically and metaphorically, and I have to admit, that is probably the best kung-fu crotch kicking pose I have ever done. Gahh, they were both so cool- I seriously loved the rivalry, because they managed to make it different than Edgeworth's rivalry with Phoenix, because that one is a friendship based one, as Lang's is a more enemy-trust sort of one. Speaking of which, I think I understand why they never actually say Phoenix's name ingame, because if they did, it'd simply become Phoenix's game, like how Apollo Justice was, when it's purely meant to be about Edgeworth here.

And yes, lots of fan-service here. xD One day I hope they decide to localize the game for at least the US, but what I hear right now is that it depends on how well PW5 and PWvsPL sell, as well as the fact that the game was released on the ds right as the 3ds came out, so I'd expect that if it were localized, it would be on the 3ds now. Either way, make it known that you want the 2nd game!
I've watched many, many videos of the sequel, maybe slightly spoiling myself too, but it seriously looks like everything from the first game is magnified to the 2nd level, especially with characters and development. In one case, you get to switch between playing as Gregory Edgeworth and Miles Edgeworth, and work with the last case Gregory ever did, not to mention, actually give von Karma the penalty that caused DL-6. He looks so awesome to play, and sounds like a real sweetheart, thinking about his son a lot from what I hear! (He's just like Atticus Finch!) The brown-haired prick right there's japanese name is Yumihiko Ichyanagi, and he's your "rival" prosecutor and prodigy, but let's just say he's really just a brat who cries if he isn't right about something, and Larry Butz calls him an idiot.
LARRY BUTZ calls him an idiot. That's reason enough to play this game. His theme music also explains a lot as well- [link] But I've also seen that the brat changes a lot from whipping boy in the beginning to someone respectable in the end, especially seeing how awful his father is. (Spoilers!) A complete and utter abusive jackass who has the creepiest objection ever.
The guy with the blue tie in Japan is named Tateyuki Shigaraki, Gregory Edgeworth's former assistant, family friend, who comes back and works with the jr. Edgeworth, bringing more insight to Edgeworth's choice of being a Defense Attorney like his father, or stay a Prosecutor. He's a sarcastic hug monster, and that snarky clapping animation of his won me over right there.
Lastly, the actual rival of the game, the female judge Hakari Mikagami! (US name pending) she just looks and sounds awesome, and I love her outfit! I believe she changes quite a bit too, but alas, not being able read Japanese is a bit of a disability here. Her and Edgeworth's rivalry should be interesting though, considering they're both quite sophisticated. Shelly De Killer also returns, as an "ice cream salesman" so obviously someone is about to get assassinated hard. Naturally Kay, Gumshoe and Franziska return, along with Lang for a bit, and you get to see what really fell The House of Lang in the first place. There were a couple of scenes that made me tear up watching them, so being able to understand in English...
Oh, and you can play chess.

So hopefully if enough people show their interest, Capcom USA might feel that translating the game is worth it after all! Just trust me and buy the first game, if you've played the first three PW games. It's pretty slow in the beginning, but it starts picking up and getting even better and better until the end! I really do recommend it, as I was laughing so much or in amazing awe the whole time. It was a very nice Valentines experience, I'll say that! Plus, both soundtracks for both games are amazing, and I'm definitely in love with them.

...Oh, and uh, Steel Samurai Edgeworth, because that's basically how the end of the game goes! xD You know it's his life dream!

Like I said, when I do a meme, I really overdo it. It came out a bit too long here, but I needed to get a lot of drawings off my heart here!
Sorry for being so inactive though, school doesn't really allow much time in my breaks when we get projects left and right. xD I don't think this really makes up for anything, but I thought I should at least post it!

PW - One weird family

I started drawing this last May or so, and I just had it unfinished, waiting for a long time until just recently, I finished it. I didn't really want to submit it here at first, cause I'm sure people would like to see more non-AU stuff from me, but I can't help that I love writing AU and I love drawings pictures of my stories. ~Noiryn insisted I did... : D But this doesn't really have anything else to do with any of the stories, other than that this is the main cast that would've been in one. Also, as you can see, their ages are different. If Trucy's that small, Apollo shouldn't be all grown up, Maya and Kay are their own age, but Ema is her AJ self and so on and so forth... But who cares?! It's a whole bunch of Ace Attorney guys in one picture! : D

Also, I think that Klavier is the gayest thing I've ever drawn, and I've drawn some gay things alright. Seriously, anyone remember this? [link] :' DD Not to mention I actually have slash in my gallery.

I personally think Apollo looks the best in this pic, or maybe Miles. What do you guys think? ;D

Meow, realized that I didn't crop the first version(:

This was a tiring piece to do, especially at the end. I did Franziska and Gavin quite badly. My marker ran out of ink while I was colouring in Gavin's face, so he looks like he has a skin disease. Franziska's proportions are wrong although I didn't notice at that time when I had drawn her.

My favourite people are Miles and ShihNa (: I like his expression, and her eyes. Haha.

Trivia:
1. Her outfit can almost hypnotize people unintentionally which usually results in the murderers, suspects and innocent ones being manipulated to tell the truth, something which she is oblivious to.

2. Like Miles Edgeworth and Franziska Von Karma, she also lost her father though Kaen is neither an attorney or prosecutor but an owner of a five star hotel.

3. She tends to avoid vegetables especially onions and garlics but will still eat them if she wants to be healthy.

4. She has her own theme song going by the title "Anti-Prosecutor" which consists of the use of an electric guitar and drum beats.

5. She has quite a number of phobias and here they are:

Unfortunately for the Defense Attorney and Kaoru herself who both tried their very best to give her the Not Guilty verdict, she ended up getting the opposite one because she did murder someone. Kaoru forgave her despite what she did in the past because no matter what, Shinju is still her mother. Shinju got executed though she died peacefully but in a sad way.

Looking back at this year, one thing certainly became apparent: I am perhaps a little too obsessed with GyakuSai. :[ I'm so glad that there is still a thriving fandom after 10 years, so here's to another 10!

Anyway, the subject matter isn't as important here as the technical aspects of the art. Basically, my problem areas are the typical ones: hands, feet, backgrounds, perspective, line art, shading, the folds in the clothing, anatomy in general, and everything else! I feel like I've gotten better at some of these things over the year, but I still have a long way to go. I'll probably never be 100% satisfied with my art, but I think that's a good thing. It will force me to keep practicing.

I didn't have any polished art for the months of March, April, and May because of two reasons: it was the end of my college semester and I had to focus on my studies, and I had just discovered My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I got sucked into it, watching all the episodes on YouTube and collecting fanart from the message boards. At this point in time I was too busy absorbing the universe (I had never been into MLP as a child so I guess I was making up for lost time) to think about drawing any pony fanart of my own.

I got my art groove back in the second part of the year, and I began to get more confident with my line art (thus the thicker, smoother, solid lines). The entry for November is a panel from a comic I started working on but had to postpone so I could finish my entry for Ace Attorney Exchange (December's entry).

I guess that's it. If you read all of that, I apologize for the boring read. I had written it mostly for my benefit so that I can look back on this in a year's time when I've examined my work once again. Have a happy new year, everyone! <3

Dear... freakin'... God. One Month. I spent one month on this piece. D8 But it was well worth it. It's Phoenix Wright meets Disney! <3 And my favourite movie EVER is B&B, so I had to use Mia & Godot as this couple.

So, Obviously Mia is Belle and Godot is Beast, which makes Diego Armando Prince Adam. Pheonix is Lumiere, Miles is Cogsworth (BEST. MATCHUP. EVER. 8DDDD ), Pearls is Chip, Maya is Mrs. Potts (I tried to make those long parts of her hair the handle and spout), Franziska Von Karma is Babette, and of course Dahlia hawthore is Gaston, with Larry being LeFou. <3 I tried to keep the roles all canon chars.

It's not pictured, but also Gumshoe is the footrest (you know, the dog XDDDDDD ), and the Judge is Maurice. >w<

Haha this has been done so many times before, but pffft, it was fun! Sorta half-assed though.
PW main characters (except Mia, of course) in AJ-time.
Now prepare for nerdy rant.

Edgeworth is of course 33. I've seen a lot of people draw him with glasses, and I always loved it, so yush, glasses. Tried making him look a bit like Edgey-papa. Also longer bangs... I don't even know how that happened. Not much changes to the clothes, but I did slap on his prosecutor's badge. Because it is awesome, dammit. Realize it already, Edgeworth!

Maya at 26. I imagine she'd look alot like Mia. The ponytail instead of top-knot idea was stolen from a page of consept art for AJ!Ema... it looks like a top-knot from the front. Cleveeeeer. Tried basing the changes in clothes off that scroll of Misty in 3-5, but you can't see much here.

16-year-old Pearly! Biggest change here is her hair. In 2-4 she mentions that she wishes she could grow her hair out like Maya, but her mother wouldn't let her _{why do i remember these kind of things wtf.} SO long hair it is. Clothes are the same since she'd still be an acolyte.

Gumshoe at 39! Getting old! Not much changes to him at all. I just made him shaggier... I like to think he's married to Maggey and has kids now, haha! _{hey, the pairing is ALMOST canon D:}

Franziska, 26 years old. PFFFT I made her look liek a pirate XD;; I WAs trying to base her outfit off her papa, but I clearly failed. Ah well. Long hair because she was so cute with long hair as a kid :3

Larry, 32! I doubt he'd give up on becoming an artist, (c'mon, when both Edgeworth AND Franziska compliment you, you're good), so yeah. I hope he gave up on that 'Laurice'-thing though XP Gave him shorter hair and made him shaggier. Clothes taken from a page of consept art.

Um. Another story-related picture, of something that I think is pretty impossible, but would like to pretend happened anyway.
See, in the aftermath of 3.5, the day after the celebratory dinner at Tres Bien (where there was lots of Mia-and-Godot-toasting, I'm sure), Maya insists on having a Steel Samurai marathon/sleepover, because that's how she deals with stress and other upsetting things (and she doesn't want to go back to Kurain just yet). Nick's still tired and kinda sick, so he sleeps all day, unaware that she's inviting the gang. (Because he probably would have protested if he were conscious, but no. He said something like "Yeah, whatever, Maya," and rolled over and went back to sleep.)
Maya probably wouldn't have gotten anyone to come (except Larry), but she managed to enlist Franziska, who thinks it is good for her "little brother" to have friends, even though she can't say it (and of course she'd know about his secret obsession with Steel Samurai). So Fran insists that Edgeworth go, and offers to cook, as an added incentive. (Beer bratwurst. XD) And it was her idea to invite Gumshoe. Because she used his tiny pathetic kitchen to cook (I assume she was staying in a hotel, and wouldn't have access to equipment of her own).
So. Everyone shows, and Maya wakes Nick up long enough to move him to the couch with everyone else, where he promptly falls asleep on Edgeworth's shoulder. And Maya falls asleep on him, because she's exhausted too, and that's the kind of thing she would do.
Oh. And Gumshoe is complimenting Franziska on her weenies. Because that's what bratwurst is.

And that's my long complicated excuse to draw the PW cast (minus Godot and Mia...T_T) piled on a couch together.
Gumshoe's going to end up as everyone's pillow by the end of the night, I just know it...

So. Lawyers are (c) Capcom.
Oh, and I probably owe some inspiration to this piece [link] by , too. Because the premise is similar, and I thought her drawing was cute. ^^

Well hey! You know I drew and inked this last night while I was watching a Cosby Show marathon on TV Land when I was supposed to be writing a four to six page paper for my theater appreciation class? Actually it's due tomorrow morning and I still haven't started yet. Story of my life. Yeeeeep.

So I didn't color this 'cause I was afraid I'd ruin it. And also because I'm lazy. Mostly because I'm lazy, actually. Dang.

Uh, I used a big fat gel pen and a teeny micron pen, the latter of which was almost out of ink, though I hope it's not too obvious. I'd drive on down to the store to get a new one, but as you already know, I'm lazy.

Anyway, Ace Attorney is great and blah blah. I wish the Judge would hang around in public places so you could pester him with evidence and ask him about stuff. In a perfect world, the Judge would have a case totally dedicated to him that would reveal his epic backstory. Amirite? I forgot to give Gumshoe legs. Oops. On the upside, I like how Larry's head looks like a jelly bean.

I'm only writing such a long description so I can put off my paper until later. Wahaha I'm a disgrace.

yes, i love phoenix wright, so i had to do this. XP most of the drawings actually turned out pretty nice, considering this is only the third time i've used my tablet (i usually end up forgetting about it <_<' ). i'm particularly happy with how the pairings drawings turned out. ^_^
