told me to post it when she found it on my photobucket... to be honest, I never thought about it as my scaner ruined everything about it. texture, colors, everything.

it was my submition for last year's LJ's community for ed/win christmas theme. the competition never took place as the mod had some private issues going on. but I was rather fond of it then. am not anymore but it has a nice christmas feeling in it

Everything else is mine (I recently stumbled upon some techniques I started to use in my pictures that I didn't know about before. Ah, experimentation!)

I'm relatively happy with this picture. I wish it looked a little more real but I'm a total novice at Photoshop and I'm still trying to get the hang of things.

Anyway, Baby MegaMind and Baby Minion FTW. They're so full of adorable (notice the sparkly quality to the lightening bolt on Megs' jumper.)

Oh, and here's what's going on. Little MegaMind is drawing a Christmas tree on the wall with chalk and the Warden comes in and gives him a little something for Christmas. ^_^

Yesh, finally done this just now but I have mixed feelings over this piece of mine though. I think it's because I can't think of a badass bg and so it happened that laziness strikes back to me once again. So I just ended up using the textures I collected from Pixiv anyways (at least it was helpful at the start). So yeah crappy at its best. Bleh, sorry that I didn't include Bulkhead there (since she is Miko's partner anyways lol) but the main focus here is that they're the dudettes of Prime of course. For some reasons, this really looks like it came from a greeting card though.

And wow, two Christmas pics in one day? Well I'll be. Anyways, as my drawing says right there, I greet you all a Merry Christmas to all of you~

Now if you excuse me, can't totally wait for the Noche Buena for tonight...

Well finally after about 2 weeks of work, IT'S FINISHED!

I had planned to colour these lovely Christmas lineART's purposely around this time of the year with a background to suit as soon as I saw them, and well here it is

I tried to stay true to their original design Melly, so i hope I haven't destroyed them

I really like the way Belle and Ariel's dresses turned out, although that being said I LOVE all the designs

My end of a secret santa!

This... did not turn out the way I thought it would... I tinkered around with the filters a lot, so it's a bit different from how I usually color, not that I'm that consistent in coloring the same way ANYWAY.

Blanc and Key belong to and I apologize if this scenario is completely out of place but after seeing this picture I really needed something happy to balance the angst. I do seem to lack angst in my gallery... ah well. There's enough of it in RAVEN methinks.

This picture is inspired to the cartoon Beauty and Beast An Enchanted christmas. I've always wanted to draw Belle with a dress decoratd with poinsettias( in Italian "stelle di natale", they are traditional christmas flowers) so here ti is. i basically spent all this afternoon and evening doing this illustration. Maybe it still needs some work on it, but i was too impatient to post it so that i did.
I made it all on photoshop wiht my graphic tablet, and i'd like to thank my mac who didn't fail me: the original file of this illustration is like 50x70cm (300dpi) and my computer never got stuck while i was working on it. I can say I put it to test, and it passed it!
I hope you like this illustration and you all have an enchanted Christmas too!

A Merry Inuyasha Christmas

Oh my GOD I can't get over how long this drawing has taken me. Nearly 5 days...5 DAYS!!! Okay, so where do I begin...*ponders* I wanted to do this all cell shaded, but with the textures of the wall and floor, it was hard to do, so I decided to mix cell and soft shading with it. This is probably one of the most difficult pieces I have ever ever done tbh and I'll probably find little things wrong with it later and go back and fix them, but right now D= I don't want to even look at this drawing anymore!

Alright, now onto my description of what's going on here. This is what my imagination popped up with, but you all can feel free to use yours and depict your very own scenario. Basically we've got Inuyasha and Kagome making out under the mistletoe of course! Sango and Miroku have just arrived back at the hut with a Christmas Tree that the two went to find. Sango could possibly be either giggling over catching the happy couple under the mistletoe or giggling over little Kirara wanting to help put up decorations and getting herself all tangled in Christmas lights that Kagome probably brought with her forgetting that the feudal era doesn't have electricity. Miroku is most likely getting ideas while watching Inu and Kagome.

We have a very cranky Sesshoumaru, and can you guess why? Well, I'd say it's most likely because Rin talked him into letting her tie Christmas bows all over his fluffy and Jaken, being the obnoxious little imp that can be with his big mouth, probably said something to set Sesshoumaru's temper off thus getting his head pounded, hence all the lumps and bruises and scratches on him. Poor Jaken. Then of cours we have Shippo who's completely oblivious to everything going on around him as he's about to dive into a candy cane that Kagome most likely so graciously brought him. And that's my interpretation! LOL

Anyway, this picture is dedicated to all of my watchers (especially those who are Inuyasha fans) and it's my way of thanking them for being constantly supportive of me and cheering me on and keeping me going, so thank you and I hope each and every one of you have a very Merry Christmas!

We had to pick our favorite HP character and dress them for Christmas. Though Teddy isn't really my favorite HP character, he is my favorite to draw, followed probably by Ron. So this is Teddy on xmas, maybe visiting Victoire while she's home from school.
Though he is graduated, I still give him the Hufflepuff tie, cause I like it on him >w<

Haha, huge Gurren Lagann reference here, if the Kamina snowman doesn't make it obvious enough already. Does anybody know what the purpose of the rock throwing was, because I still can't figure it out. I am now convinced that the recipe for awesome is blue hair, cool shades, rad blue tatoos, and having everyone call you 'aniki'. Wow, it's weird what Franky and Kamina have in common. And no, Franky would never wear pants even in the dead of winter.

So, I was really trying to move out of my comfort zone with this one by using a more painterly approach to CG coloring and distinguishing between my foreground and background elements. I think the picture itself looks fine but I didn't quite accomplish what I wanted with the technique because it's very difficult for me to imagine what kinds of colors and shades I should use and how to show texture on a fictional character. Please offer some critique if you can because I may experiment more with this style later on.

Oh yeah, and happy holidays everyone!! My winter break is going to last about a month and I've been getting a lot more ideas lately so prepare for more frequent updates.

A Christmas card design featuring Hergé's Tintin and Snowy. The first of two drawn for friends, this piece came together quite easily. The figure was drawn from a photograph, the sky sketched from the view outside my window and the rest from imagination. I didn't want to draw a 'funny' card but a more traditional piece; not twee, but more down that road than humourous.

A Naruto Christmas Pic ^_^

Naruto,Sakura and Sasuke are out on a sleigh ride into a town where there are lot's of shops and it's snowing. Shikamaru is giving sleigh rides, the Nara Clan has many deers to spare for that. That's Kakashi back there finishing up some Christmas shopping

Wanted to give this pic a marker/watercolor like feel to the coloring, so I used a texture to give it that look to it. I like the look of it, gives the pic something extra. Been working on this a few days, little by little. Got it finished now.

FINALLY! That took forever just from shear distractedness and procrastination on the part of busyness. I am proud of Shrimp man, Penrod, I beleive it tis.

Christmas Gift for Mochibuni as part of the Sailor Moon Club Secret Santa in SheezyArt

Before anything else, I'd like to say this is my bestest work so far *yahoooo* and a many first for me.

_{MY FIRSTS:

1. To draw Hotaru / Sailor Saturn.

2. To draw and color an animal in cg = and yeah I knoww soo if there's one thing I want to improve on this is coloring furry animals XD

3. The eyes took a different rendering compared to my old works (which mostly are not submitted here). But I like this style of coloring the eyes, though, it took me a good 2 hours in making it look like that.

4. To make a detailed background, although a christmas bow would do great on the left wall, but at the point when I am done I've almost gone to color blind @_@

5. To make snow reflection on glass!! Oogg.. cuz there's no snow here so no references just my imagination.

6. To use pattern overlays, on the gift box; and textures on the table and window pane.

7. To use a splatty wet look shading or whatever it is called. It's a more complicated kind of coloring I used compared to the old arts I did.}

This thing took me 109.5 hours in the making!! 109.5 a lot of timeouts and distractions XD

Lineart sketch = 5 hours (Can't make the hands right)
Lineart Tracing = 3 hours
Flats = 1.5 hours
Details etc etc = 100.5 hours

I dont think I'll ever want to make another one that will take this loong, not for now though. But yeah I am soo liking the way I colored this. <3 I'm in love with myself now because of this hahah XD

No references on whatsoever in drawing and coloring - except on the hands where I took a pic of mine for reference. I'm sooo bad with drawing arms and hands XD

I never thought about Alfred and Ivan as a couple, but I enjoyed so much doing this drawing! *o* I had a lot of fun especially coloring it, it was a lot I didn't do cellshading and I kinda missed it! *w* It was a little difficult for the background instead, because I can never decide what to do and what can be good to add ;7; *fails* But I hope that in the end it looks fine as a whole!!

I still didn't die here on deviantArt, guys owò I left for a long time because of other things I had to do irl, and then so many messages and deviations to check have accumulated D: The more time passes, the less I feel like checking everything..and I don't either feel like posting my drawings until I have all those things to check and answer to ;w; I didn't draw much in the last months, but I do have some things to post..I wonder when =w= I don't know XD Someday I'll feel like checking all the arrears and I'll be back, I guess XD I also have to complete a commission from last October ;A; I didn't forget, I swear! ;A;

Chapter 17 - Christmas Cheer

Christmas Eve arrived and the annual Malfoy Christmas party was in full swing before dinner. The entrance hall, the ballroom, many of the hallways, and the living rooms (yes, the house had more than one) were filled with people of every kind of magical heritage imaginable. Some were celebrities while others were from the ministry or of similarly high-ranking, influential positions. Still others were either social climbers, journalists, or just plain rich. But all of them, the way Ed saw it, were exactly the same: boring, wealthy, socialite snobs.

SO!! after A MILLION FRIKKIN YEARS of having this picture as a Work-In-Progress on my hard drive, i finally bucked up and finished it. with the encouragement of my good friend oune and the inspiration of one phn, i toyed around with a new coloring method that i actually quite enjoyed!

i'm proud to say that i only cheated a little bit here, and that's 'cause i was so pleased with the bulk of it i just wanted the last little pieces of background over and done with. the chandelier and the arched windows are the only things that i snatched from images i got off the internet. everything else is 100% original, baby~

anyways! there's Pansy in the center, being an obnoxious flirt and clinging to BOTH Ed and Draco, both of whom look annoyed. Zabini off to one side with random dark-auburn-haired chick, and Roy over on the other side with Narcissa, but looking back over at the kids all sneaky-like to make sure they're behaving. especially Ed, since he's prone to make with the violence.

i blurred Narcissa and Roy slightly, since they're supposed to be a few steps further away than Ed and the others. plus, i wanted the kids to pop more, so i even showered them in glowy highlights from the light of the chandelier. i really enjoyed mucking around with the highlights and the textures of everyone's clothes, and even if i'm not 100% sure i hit the highlights and shadows right on the money, i think it turned out well. ^o^

so... yeah! i'm actually quite proud of this. i was a little disoriented while retracing the linework, 'cause i was like "CRAP, i don't draw them like this anymore! D8" buuuut... i still like it. :3 it was fun to do~

Aw, Sonic is reading a Christmas story to his friends on Christmas Eve.

It started as a rehash of last years picture and blossomed into this behemoth. 10+ hours total from sketch, ink, scanned, touched up in Flash, and Photoshopped to kingdom come. I think I had something like 30-40 layers total. I also experimented with textures, and they ended up blending very well.

Please, PLEASE, no critique. It took me way too long and I may bite your head off in reaction. =3

Snowed In Christmas

I....You guys have no idea how amazing I feel right now for finishing this. I feel so accomplished and I feel like I truly challenged myself with this and I completed it in just 16 hours! My hand is dead but it was SO worth it. I'm SO happy with this, you have no idea, I'm speechless. This is in my new 2012 Artwork Meme hehe x) I'm shaking from happiness that I got this done. I livestreamed 3/4 of this so you can hopefully watch it on my livestream channel (: I wanted to do this kind of picture ever since the beginning of December because I had it in my mind, but toward the end of November I was just burned out and I couldn't draw anything. This picture challenged a TON of different artistic techniques that I tried to add in: Textures (Christmas tree, firewood), Perspective (Applejack, presents, different positioned mugs), Shading (different light sources), Distance (Rainbow Dash compared to Twilight Sparkle), Realistic (fire, presents, fireplace, Christmas tree decorations), Style (My new MLP Style). There are probably others that I've missed but these were the ones I wanted to work on the most. I'm also putting this up to be critiqued on..I'm nervous I'll admit XD Oh well, I'm satisfied with it (:

This is actually the first time that I draw something for Christmas, so I decided that I'll do something different. I went for a rough coloring style and some christmas textures [link] [link] and I used the ppgz winter outfits from the manga plus some christmas themed tweaks. The extra here are the little rrb.
After some while I finally shaded something without using a variety of colors, plus I like the way I did the hair - it looks more realistic.

Anyway I hope that none of you guys actually believe the world end that will be tomorrow, it's just silly.}

I know, Christmas is at the end of this month. I just couldn't wait to draw a Christmas-y AkuRoku pic! & I probably wouldn't have had the time to do it later this month ; A ;

I've been sick the past two days with a terrible fever so I've just been working on this. My impatience makes me post things as soon as I finish them >.<

The background was THE WORST. I've redone it like, 3284738294729 times and I just can't get it to look nice. I've looked at this ugly one so many times my eyes are adjusting and it's actually starting to look satisfactory.

Rational Self : Isn't there enough sparkles already?
Feverish Self : Never enough sparkles * u *

They pull off sparkles way better than Faggotron (Edward Cullen) can, IMO.

And here's my monsterpiece!
Finally after so much sweat, blood and tears it's done.
Actually I didn't want to make anything for this year, simply cause I got tired of group pics, so....I thought of making it in this way. It's a lot easier and saves time.
Didn't touch the tablet, woohoo!
The drawings were made on paper with pencil, scanned, adjusted colors and contrast and added that paper texture as background.

So like...
This is my Christmas gift for my best friends. Since my budget is really low this year, drawings are the only things I could offer to you guys. I know it's not the best. But I tried hard to get a nice result.
The only thing I like about the pic is the composition I think...
Anyway, the people on the pic are:

First Christmas picture.

Amy in the snow in a dickenzenian type setting, just really been feeling a victorian age christmas picture, and so naturally I drew Amy... :/

Amy and the back ground, both drawn on paper and then scanned in..
I have used some texture's they were all taken by me on my i phone, and i've tried to keep texture use to a minimum.

Worked hard on this picture and then almost ruined it when I found a new tool on photoshop 6 that let you add an oil painting filter... maybe went a bit mad trying to work out make the picture look more old timey.... and ruined it... some part are still a little too filtered.

All I did was just extract the models from Mass Effect 2's PC assets, bring them into 3ds Max, throw their textures on them, and then I moved them around to pose them.

(The models and all of their assets belong to BioWare.)
