Spinner and Emma

Hey guys! It's been a while, hope you all are enjoying your summer. Well this recent pic is based off of a show called Degrassi the Next Generation, I mentioned it a couple of times before but alot of you guys out there have no clue what I'm talking about. It's basically a teenage drama show filmed in Toronto Canada. I have spent my whole teenager years watching this show, it began in 2001, it's still making new shows but this year it's the end for me because in their latest film, Degrassi takes Manhattan, the original castmembers from season one are officially gone!

Anyways, watching the Degrassi takes Manhattan was a HUGE shocker for me, Spinner Mason and Emma Nelson got married! At first I was confused being that Spinner and Emma barely interacted throughout the series, but to tell you the truth, seeing Spinner and Emma's relationship growing throughout the film was so beautiful, at some parts it made me want to cry for joy.

To explain the pic for those who have never ever seen the show, Spinner and Emma have known eachother since junior high, Spinner was in 8th grade, Emma in seventh, but in the first season of Degrassi, Spinner was a bully and he picked on Emma, Emma referred to him as the jerk and tries to avoid him as much as possible.
In season 2, which is where the first panel of this pic is from, there is an episode where Emma does a science project of health foods affecting human performance. Spinner volunteers to be a subject for Emma's project. But here's the funny part, since Spinner is in his teens, he is experiencing constant erections (hence the binder boner shield) His best friend tells him that it's hormones that are causing them, but Spinner being the idiot that he is, blames them on Emma's project from eating the health food.
Now to explain the 2nd panel, it has been 8 years, to cheer up a depressed Spinner who had just been through a terrible breakup and that the place that he works had just burned down, Emma and her best friend takes Spinner to Niagra Falls to cheer him up. There, Emma and Spinner win alot of money at the casino and get really drunk. The next morning, well, I think you can guess what happened according to the comic.
The joke of the pic basically is that in the first season of the show, little Spinner and Emma who are basically exact opposites end up getting married to eachother 8 years later.

If you guys are still confused on what the pic is about, sorry, I have a feeling that only the Degrassi fans can get it and like I said before, I don't think there are many out there who watch it/or has it according to where they live.

This is a picture about how I felt when I saw 'Wakko's Wish' for the first time. I really screamed out 'NO!' when the cannon ball hit the Warners then cried when I saw Yakko with Dot. I really thought she was going to die, that I burst into tears as I watched Yakko and Dot tell the story of their parents. So there I was, crying my heart out, sqeezing my Sonic plushie (I made him watch it) as Dot finally 'died'. I had to grab a lot of tissues cause once Yakko boke out into tears, I was crying like Niagra Falls. So here's a very short, but dramatic comic of the most tragic sence in Wakko's Wish. I felt like I was really there when this happened. He held his little sister's body in his arms, which continued to shake uncontrollably. Tears streamed down from his eyes as he grind his teeth. He didn't want to believe any of this was happening, he knew it couldn't be happening. It was all a setup just to have him crack like an egg.

The person didn't say a word, only staring back at the Warner with cold, empty eyes.

'The answer is simple: she and your brother are the ones you hold dear in your heart.'

Yakko's eyes widen. They were targeting them just so they could get to him?! They had nothing to do with this, they had no reason to get involved with this situation!

'...Bring her back....' His voice trembled angrily, 'B-BRING HER BACK!!!!!'

He dropped Dot's lifeless body onto the snow, and reached for the man's cloak. Yanking on it tightly, Yakko refused to let go as he felt the firey rage build up inside him. This had gone too far, and he was getting sick of these twisted games!

'SHE WAS ONLY A CHILD!!! WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF KILLING SOMEONE?! JUST TO MESS WITH A GUY'S HEAD?!' He shoved the man down, unaware of the incredible strength he was posessing. He was fed up! No more mister nice guy, this Warner's gloves were coming off! He wasn't going to be played for a sap any longer!

Finally, another wallpaper! Looks like my artist slump is over. Doctor Who and patients aside . . .

I realized awhile back that FOX has a tendency to cancel all of my favorite shows. Firefly, Keen Eddie, Wonderfalls . . . all these kick-ass programs that got the boot due to poor time slots and baseball.

Well, I've decided to show my undying love for The Dead Fox Show(TM) by creating a series of wallpapers dedicated to a few shows that 'didn't make the cut.' I've done Keen Eddie, and you can bet I'll be doing more in the future, when I have the time, that is.

Wonderfalls aired in 2004. Incredibly quirky. Love it to DEATH. Jaye Tyler, a smart girl with a dead-end job at a tourist trap in Niagra Falls gets beaned on the head and now can 'talk' to inanimate objects like stuffed animals, pink lawn flamingoes, and even a little smoosh-faced wax lion. These little animals tell her to do things, and while it takes a long way to get there, what she does actually helps people out. Oh, and makes them think she's absolutely insane. Definitely worth checking out if you like Pushing Daisies (Lee Pace plays Jaye's brother) and Firefly (Tim Minear worked on it!) . . .

While only a handful of episodes were aired here, the rest were shown in Canada (Caroline Dhavernas--Jaye--is from there), and reruns have been airing on LOGO. It's on DVD in the US.

we interrupt this programming for an important announcement!!!

before anyone gets their inuyasha under-roos in a bind, hear me out. keeping in the vein of this current series of fanart, i tackled miroku - not physically, you understand. though adorably lecherous, he's still only adorable. where is the "sexay" that so many of his fellow bishies possess? it was nowhere to be found. there were only a couple of choices to be had: 1) draw him nekkid [which i've already stated i don't yet have the skills to accomplish] or 2) modify his outift so that he was nearly nekkid. option #2 seemed an easier task, so i jumped at the opportunity. my first idea was to use just the purple over-robe and modify it so he was wearing it like a wrap (think kilt - and the nekkidness beneath ^_^). well, i didn't think miroku fangirls would ever forgive me, plus i didn't feel like being stalked, so i opted for the lesser of my artistic evils and went with low rise bottoms. since we've never seen miroku undressed or even halfway unclothed, one can only guess at his physical structure. i figured he's probably decently built, so i went on that. and since he can never just leave that hand unwrapped, i left it securely wrapped with his trusty prayer beads.

oh yeah, i was quite satisfied with myself! here i had started and completed an entire pic in less than 48 hours. it was well-colored and nicely presented. i was the bomb-diggity...until i realized 3 very crucial things. the first was that his wind-tunnel was in the wrong hand (i have it in the left. it's actually in his right.). the second is that his earrings are in the wrong ear (he has 2 in the right and 1 in the left). the third and most important thing - IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE MIROKU!!!!!!! *screams like a chick in a badly made horror flick*

all that effort and time and it's not even what i was attempting to do. i was so pissed i actually wanted to cry. but i can't just burst into niagra falls in an room full of guys. first off, they would freak out, 'cause i'm more the bitchy end of the spectrum than the girly end. and secondly 'cause they all think i'm hardcore and tough. i am..sometimes. so i just sat there looking at him in shock and dismay trying to telepathically will him to become miroku.

anyhoo...
i'm debating whether or not to move this travesty to scraps. i put a lot of effort into this so i'm really wanting to leave it in my main gallery. but he's wrong. and when it comes to fanart, isn't accuracy what counts? i don't know what to do. what do you guys think???

Montmorency Falls

In a recent vacation in Canada that I went on, one of the sights I took in was the lovely Montmorency Falls. Located just outside of Quebec City, it's 100 feet higher than Niagra Falls.
I also remembered that there was a just-as-lovely anime girl named Montmorency, a magical-girl-in-training from the anime Familiar of Zero. And so I was inspired to do this drawing.
So, here's Montmorency, presenting the waterfall that is her namesake. She's wearing a magical-girl bikini I designed.

Transfer

Transfer is the primary villain of the 1980s cartoon 'Around The World With Willy Fog', who is hired by one of Willy Fog's rival businessmen to sabotage Fog's attempt to fulfil his bet that he can get around the world in 80 days.

Unlike most cartoon henchmen, Transfer is intelligent and a master of disguise (he can even imitate the voice and likeness of whover he impersonates!) and his schemes to stop Willy Fog are inventive and effective, but don't do enough to stop Fog in his adventures. Nevertheless, he is incredibly persistent and also quite hardy, and will stop at nothing. And he has that scary flash in his left eye from time to time!

The picture itself is based on one of my favourite scenes from the show. Of course, I'd love to have drawn my favourite scene, where in the same ice boat he goes over Niagra Falls and survives, but that might have been a bit over the top! Maybe another time

The next and the last of the Chibi Outer Senshi are here! I know I drew all the other girls seperately, but I just HAD to draw them together in one picture. Not only are they sisters, they just look so great together, I think. ^-^ As you can see, both girls have the Talismans of their 'father' (the original Senshi of their guardian planet) passed down to them, and use them in battle.

So first, if you'd like a refresher on the story of how Haruka and Michiru got to have children, head to the headshot pic! [link]

Next, I'd like to meet Chibi Neptune, who's pictured on the left. Her name is Masa Kaioh, which translates to 'elegant sea ruler'. She was carried by Haruka, and is less then a week older then her sister. She has her mother's hair color and her 'father's eyes. Masa is quiet and poised, preferring to express herself in paintings and sculptures then talking very much. When she does speak, she feels very strongly about the subject at hand. For example, pollution and it's effects on the ocean. Even in Crystal Tokyo people litter, waste energy and the like, and it's something that gets Masa to be her most vocal. Kei thinks she should go into politics, but Masa isn't fond of public speaking. Pretty self explanatory, seeing as she's almost as quiet as Izumi! So when she grows up, she wants to be either be a marine biologist or a famous artist.

As a Senshi, she controls water, and for the most part it's sea water. So if you get splashed with one of her attacks you get a bad taste left in your mouth. Her main attack, Raging Tsunami, sends a giant wall of water at the enemy. With the Deep Aqua Mirror, she uses Liquid Looking-Glass, where the mirror's surface ripples and sends out waves of energy. I tried to make the mirror look like that in the picture. ^^ She can also use the mirror for a bit of divination, like Michiru, but doesn't understand much of what it shows her. She relys greatly on Michiru's experience with the Deep Aqua Mirror to guide her until she can know what it means on her own.

Oh, and BTW: that head in the middle of the girls is to show the back of Masa's hair. As I mentioned on the headshot pic, it''s swept into a low ponytail, and she fastens the end with beads colored to match her Senshi fuku colors and that of her sister's.

Now, onto Chibi Uranus! Obviously located on the right. Her name is Kei Tennoh, and that means 'sunny sky ruler'. Carried by Michiru, she is the younger sister; like Masa, she has her mother's hair color and her 'father's eye color. Her hair is wavy like Michiru's and she keeps it shorter then her, but also longer then Haruka. ^^ Anyway! Kei absolutely LOVES flying. She wants to be a pilot someday, and until then spends as much time as she can in the air. Be it hang-gliding, riding a zipline, or even just spending time in a hot air balloon. She feels so at home in the sky; she often comments how she wishes she had been born with wings instead of arms!

She's very outgoing, and quite the opposite of Masa in that regard. She has no problem meeting new people or speaking her mind. She's usually the one who sets up the get-togethers with their friends and drags Masa with her, who usually doesn't object. Their radically different personalities do cause them to get into fights every so often, but that's not surprising. They're sisters; they're bound to fight once and a while!

When she's in Senshi form, all her attacks are air-based. Not technically wind, but it sounded better in the title then air! With the Space Sword she uses Cutting Wind, slashing the air with the sword and sending it shooting towards the foe. On her own, she utilizes the attack Tornado's Revenge, which sends out a magical twister that is damaging two ways; one, if the offending party gets caught in it, it's extremely disorienting, and two, even if it doesn't catch them the debris it whips around will!

Kei does like to brag, feeling that her Senshi powers are the strongest, regardless of what anyone else tries to tell her. It oftens annoys the others, but Kei doesn't seem to care. Masa tries to keep her quiet, or at least try to make her realize how much the other girls hate her boasting, but it's hard when Kei is so self-confident and brushes Masa's warnings off as silly worrying. Besides, Masa has her own problems; because she mostly keeps to herself, the other Chibi Senshi think that she's aloof and feels she's too good for them. That's not true of course, but remember, Masa finds it hard to express herself verbally.

Thankfully for them, Chou, the mother hen that she is, spends a lot of time tyring to help the girls fit in. Or in Kei's case, just to tone it down, LOL!

I didn't realize to after I colored this that both here and in the headshot pic Kei is sticking out her tongue. Ahh well, it fits her personality! And I realize Masa's expression is a little out of character for her, but I thought making her look extra happy and excited would be fun! ^w^ Oh, and a side note: for their earrings, Kei has stars since Haruka had hoops that looked like crescent moons. And Masa has random curlies because I thought they looked cool. xD Also! In Senshi form, Masa wears boots like her mother Haruka even though the former Senshi of Neptune wore heels, and likewise Kei wears heels like Michiru even though the former Senshi of Uranus wore boots. =3

And guess what! That background picture? I TOOK IT!! It's a picture I took in Niagra Falls the first time I went to visit my ex. I thought it would be perfect for this, since it has a good mix of water and sky in it. <3 Plus, the sky is very blue in this image and the water looks aqua, which make it even more perfect! I wonder if I should upload it separately...or maybe even upload a couple of my photos! =O I'd just upload ones with nature and such, which is about half of what I focus my photography on. What do you guys think?

Rapt ZoSan Epilogue

Well, guys, that's the end of Rapt. What do you think? Kinda...weak, if I do say so myself. I dunno, how do people usually feel when they finish a story? Caz I'm feeling almost nothing here. Just a small sense of "OmRWJ, its done!" Huh. Anyway, along with the end to a much loved story, I bring you guys some bad news. At about 3:40am Thanksgiving morning, my grandmother, who had been in the hospital for a week or so, passed away. At 4:00am, my aunt called my mother and delivered the news. At 10:00, when I woke up and decided to wish my family a happy turkey-day, I was informed of what had happened. It was kind of a delayed reaction. I didn't start crying until I was back in my room and I was sure the stereo would cover up my sobs. But I didn't even cry that much. And that's what I feel bad about. I loved my grandma, and I still do. I went to the funeral place with my dad, for support, and I helped picked out her coffin. I almost cried about five times in the hour. She has a really pretty poem to go in her card, too, all about how God looked down and saw her suffering and called her home to ease her pain. It works for her. Her funeral was really sad--I wasn't going to let myself until I heard my cousins cry, and then I'm suddenly the Niagra falls. And of course, Sean only scratched his nose every so often. I didn't hear one sniff from him. Ugh. My other grandma, aunt and cousins came down for it. It helped. I love those guys. Anyway, my dad said this would be a sad week. It will be. I'm going to take a break from...Well, everything for a while. I know I promised you some new, amazing story, but you guys understand, right?

Welcome to another ridiculous cartoon of mine!!

This is based on a weird dream I had - yes a dream again - and I simply had to draw it, because it was so silly.

Humma Kavula from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy took some redhaired people as hostages and asked me to find the gun - you know. I got seriously pissed because he had captured the Carpenter too, so I found the Blunderbuss instead and shot Kavula. I fell asleep right after because I was tired and Carpenter sat next to me and stroke my back. Then wings grew out of me and we flew away - actually we first crashed into a wall because we were inside something. And then we landed at Niagra falls. No shit!

And yes, I translated the wings-growing-out-of-my-back part into one of those "grap my" things, because it's silly.

And the brown-ish fluid comming out of my wings is some sort of soy sauce because we were going to have sushi.

And I dropped my eraser and can't find it. Oh what to do. Edit: Found it in the trash can. Ffffff.

If you wonder what happended to all the other redhaired hostages they were just lying around after I shot Kavula. Maybe they died but I couldn't care less. Ain't that sweet?

WELL THEN! A bunch of Total Drama fans who follow Martin because of Total Drama College, which as you probably know I co-create with him, started following my account today. Thanks guys!

Unfortunately, I'm not all that big on Total Drama fanart. In fact I've pretty much never seriously drawn anything for it. But I MIGHT start drawing stuff for TDC eventually. Until then this is the best I've got. Here's WHY I picked all these:

*NOTE: All of my grievances with the characters and events on this show are focused on the people who make it. I have nothing against the fictional characters actions themselves. That's REALLY stupid. Come on, people, they're CHARACTERS. They don't exist. Everything they've ever said and done was dictated by people at desks in Teletoon studios. Blame THEM.

Favorite character: SIERRA - She's a cartoon character. Total Drama is a cartoon. It's a reality show SATIRE, putting teens through horrifically dangerous challenges that SHOULD kill them. It's CLEARLY not actually meant to be taken as seriously as some fans take it. Anyone who hates Sierra (and to a larger extent World Tour in general) for being too silly is literally missing the entire point of the franchise. Go watch a REAL reality show if you want nothing but lame comedy and superficial drama. THIS is a CARTOON. Now, Izzy was ALSO a cartoon character. BUT as funny as Izzy was she changed personality every season, and I don't mean like Mike's Multiple Personality Disorder. TDI she was generally awkward and bipolar and prone to excited outbursts, really lived in her own little reality. TDA she gave herself nicknames and identities but you could tell she was just doing it to be wacky and random, again different from Mike's actual condition (not that THAT is any more of a realistic portrayal of MPD, but it's a cartoon who cares?) and in World Tour she was just a dumb excited ADHD girl who did nothing but get hit on the head and somehow become a genius, but that went nowhere and then turned back. So while she IS clearly a cartoon character, Sierra was MUCH more well-written and consistent in her humor.

Despised character: TRENT - I honestly harbored no ill will on Total Drama Island until the show actually became GOOD. The second half of TDA (when a lot of the writers were switched out with more talented people) and onward through World Tour were LEGITIMATELY FUNNY. Before that? TDI was just "meh" to me. I'd always say "I can see the potential, but they just didn't hit the nail on the head hard enough." But then they did! And now I look at TDI and say "WOW what a bland piece of poorly tweened SHIT." A LOT of the characters are either uninspired pop-culture parodies or 2-dimensional cookie-cutter roles that have VERY little original touches added to them. TRENT is the worst offender. Not only is he just that cliche "sensitive cool guy who likes to listen to you and ask you about your day and is super nice and good looking but isn't braggy about it," but they jsut KEPT HIM like that for nearly the shole franchise. And then when they FINALLY developed him...they gave him an addiction to the number 9 OUT OF NOWHERE. You know what that's called, kids? In writing we called that a "retcon." There is an inherent unfixable flaw with some aspect of your story's continuity, so the only way to fix it is to FOOOORCE something new and interesting to switch things up! Technically everything's still nice and canon, but that doesn't mean it's not BULLSHIT.

Favorite season: TDWT - Total Drama Island was pretty uninteresting. The last half of Total Drama Action was really good, BUT it had flaws, mainly due to still having to be attached to the not-as-funny first half, aaand because the finale episode was an Aftermath. Seriously. What? So by sheer numbers alone World Tour wins! It doesn't take itself as seriously in terms of rules, Chris just mainly makes up rules as he goes along and it's just a lot more obvious this whole reality show nonsense is supposed to be comedic and satirical. Also the jokes were just...better. I can't be objective here anymore, I just found the last half of TDA and all World Tour to be legitimately better written. *shrug* moving on.

Despised season: TDI - If you've read everything above this you'll know my reasons for liking this the least. Quite frankly they should consider themselves lucky they got another season so they could get better people to work on this and reach its full potential.

Most overrated character: GWEN The image explains why she's overrated, any fan of Gwen either just thinks she's hot because "she's different but still conventionally attractive, hehehboner" OR they're poser goths. But lets go into details of WHY she is such a bad character. One of the heads of the show, I think Todd Kauffman, has said Gwen was his favorite character. It shows. She's blatantly the main character in a show that's NOT supposed to have any. Owen could arguably be the main, but he's more like the show's mascot. The fan-favorite usually isn't the main, like Kramer from "Seinfeld" or Joey from "Friends." Anyway, Gwen's not only a main character, she's a BORING main character. They made her so universally relateable she doesn't have any unique characteristics 90% of the time, so when you factor in the other 10% when she suddenly does something that defines her as an individual character it feels forced and out of nowhere. Like in the Celebrity Man Hunt special when she decorates the baby room in gothic stuff? Oh yeah. Because she was SOOOO dark and dreary and into the macabre allll throughout Total Drama. Nope. She was just GIVEN a gothic appearance to make her LOOK like a unique and flawed character, But *gasp* GWEN? FLAAAWED? Oh no no no she's too precious, she can't have anything WRONG with her! How are we supposed to root for her to get the guy in the end if she's not little miss perfect-yet-standoffish-and-misunderstood? Let me answer that: BECAUSE REAL PEOPLE ARE FLAAAAWED! That's why Heather's one of the best characters. She's a BITCH. But you know what? After TDI, they made her a real person. Still a bitch, but you know what? She wants to win! Of course she's going to be competitive and fierce and a bitch. I'm not justifying her actions, I'm just saying she's well-written. She's totally the villain, but you know what? Villains have to be real people too. But I digress. You want to know how I KNOW Gwen was just made a goth, after she had already been fully conceived as a boring every-girl, for NO other reason then they needed to give her SOMETHING that made her stand out? THIS IS HER ORIGINAL DESIGN: [link]
Oh yeah. CLEARLY she was always meant to be a goth, it just fits her personality so well you guys. I'm not just trying to justify the fact that I'm only judging her on her outward appearance and filling in all the gaping blanks there are in her personality, you guys. It's not like that...guys?...

Most underrated character: SIERRA - Again, most people hate her unfairly, because they don't seem to get that this is a comedy show. God forbid someone shows up who's ACTUALLY FUNNY. She's SUPPOSED to be annoying and stalker-y. Do you...seriously not understand that EVERY character can't be likable, and the villains will NEVER get voted out early. This is a STORY. There needs to be CONFLICT. Beth and Duncan were the weakest choices for a final two so far in the franchise (I know who the final two are in Revenge of the Island, but I don't know French so I can't say how good they contrast exactly...) because up until that point they really had NO conflict. A lot of Total Drama fans are always wrong about what's going to happen to characters or what characters they're supposed to like and dislike, because they refuse to treat this for what it is: FICTION. Of COURSE Sierra would be horrifyingly annoying and creepy in REAL life, but so would A LOT of beloved fictional characters. Bugs Bunny is the biggest asshole in cartoon history, but PEOPLE LOVE ANNOYING A-HOLES! As long as they're FICTIONAL. Why? It's......FUNNY. THIS IS A COMEDY SHOW! That doesn't mean there can't be drama, but CLEARLY the comedy comes first! This entire franchise revolves around SLAPSTICK! The "Drama" in the title is supposed to be IRONIC!

Favorite couple: DUNCAN/COURTNEY - Sierra and Cody are probably the funniest couple, but they're also ARGUABLY a couple since Cody doesn't really seem to share her affections in the same way. If we're talking couple-couples, I gotta give it to Duncan and Courtney who, again, have a relationship that would REALISTICALLY be horrendous. They don't go well. However, this is fiction, so it's hysterical to watch them bicker and make-up again and again. But you know what makes that even FUNNIER then it just being fictional? It's actually the most common type of couple. ATTENTION ALL YOUNG TEENAGE GIRLS: If you're smart and confident and eager to go places in the world, sister look out for those late high-school early-college hormones. You WILL most likely fall head over heels with a shithead rebel who "has a sensitive side" and "just needs the right girl." DO. NOT. DATE THIS GUY. You're going to anyway, but just let the record show I warned you.

Despised couple: TRENT/GWEN - The not-very-outgoing pretty-but-unpopular girl falls for the sensitive guitar-playing guy who could have any girl he wants BUT JUST WANTS HER? ... NOOOOOOO. That's the most fucking original and interesting story I've ever heard IN THE HISTORY OF MAN KIND.

Favorite song: "WAKE UP" - I don't care much for the songs. Only a few are really BAD, but only like one or two stand out as having any real quality or they're just catchy regardless which gives them brownie points. The only reason they did a musical was because musical stuff hit its peak in popularity around the time of it's production. BUUUT while that was the staff's excuse, I'm pretty sure that was also Chris's in-story excuse. So that's actually...excusable! However, still didn't like them that much. So I picked this song! Because Sierra didn't even sing, just rambled about Cody STEALING HER FACE while she was tripping balls. Oh Sierra, you made that show for me...

Despised Song: EINE KLEINE - It's one thing to make original songs that are meh. You've got to TRY on some level, musically speaking. This was a public domain classical piece that has no point. They could have picked any other song. It was just lazy. I GUESS you could argue that they were going for a different genre every episode and classical was a genre, but if you're too lazy to compose an original minute-and-a-half classical tune after you've done that for EVERY OTHER SONG, why bother?

Favorite episode: NIAGRA BRAWLS - I'll be honest, this might actually not be my favorite episode. I love every episode of World Tour equally pretty much. The whole season's just really solid. I picked that one because it was one of Sierra's funniest moments. "This isn't happening. THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!!!" Chris is CLEARLY fearful for his life. And again, he bends the rules. So I started this a looooong while back, probably back when Round 3 of Hotel Haven had been going... probably a bit later. But a long while back. So... better late than never?

This picture idea sprang from Dan and Yaz's Round 1 entry for Hotel Haven. You see, before the first competition even began properly, Armaan promised Siroh that he'd play dolls later, after the round. But Siroh got sick, and had to stay in the infirmary for a week. Then everything basically went downhill from there. The same way a barrel goes downhill when it goes over Niagra falls (admittedly, the hotel is a gateway to hell, so this is to be expected). But it sort of bothered me that we never saw Armaan fulfill that promise, so... I chose to remedy the situation! In my own, little way...

This is also a thank you, to Dan and Yaz, for creating these two. I've really grown attached to Armaan and Siroh (as my friends can attest, as they've been hearing about nothing BUT them for the last... while). I know it's not much in light of the amazing comics, the in depth stories, and simply all the work they've put into Hotel Haven and these characters in general. But I wanted to give something back. Thank you, you two, for sharing Armaan and Siroh with the DeviantArt community.

I did this one completely on Paint, which was a challenge in and of itself. So... yeah.

Lawl, so I was on my superflat world and I was messing around with beacons and redstone (which you can kinda see in the background) and I decided to go up into a really tall tower and jump down into a pool of water. I jumped off and then I got bored. This is where the TNT comes in. I put down about 8, let it blow up, and then...yeah...I kept placing more TNT and making chained reactions and stuff.

Then for some reason I filled it with water? XD

NOW IT IS A NIAGRA FALLS...and I deleted that world...YOLO.

"You're just a pile of scrap metal with no special abilities! Nuahahahaha!" Dr Wily spoke, those harsh words pouring out of his mouth like a waterfall. Rock looked up sadly at the mechanical device that soared way away out into what seemed like an impossible to reach region. "Our friends are in trouble Rock! Hurry to the lab! I'll catch up with you!" Roll said worriedly. Running towards the laboratory, Rock found Dr. Light very upset. "What insanity! Using my robots to conquer the world!" Rock replied very pleadingly. "Professor, please! Change me into a fighting robot!" he said, shaking a little. "Rock? What are you saying, my child?" Dr. Light asked, kind of wide-eyed. "I really want to help everyone! But i don't know if i'm strong enough yet..." Rock said, a hint of sadness in that last sentence. "Rock...." Roll tried to interject, but all that came out was the soft call of her brother's name. "Hmm.....All right. I don't like it, but sometimes such things must be done. I must make the necessary preparations. Roll, could you please assist me?" Dr. Light said seriously. This was not a joking matter. After Rock got in gear, Dr. Light observed how well he did on this part of Rock's designing. "Listen, Rock...no, rather...RockMAN...Yes, that's it! From this moment on, you shall be RockMan!

"Let's go!" Rock shouted enthusiastically, not knowing what lie ahead of him in the near future.

A painfully long stage brought him to his first brother. Cut looked on into his brother's eyes. He realized who he was facing after a moment of silence. "B-Brother?! Dr. Wily was right...You've been changed into a BAD robot..." Cut said, kinda depressed that he thought his own sibling had joined the bad side. "CutMan! What's going on...?" RockMan said, confused as to what his brother was talking about. Wily's side was evil...not Dr. Light's. (Or that's what he thought at the moment. ) "You're an evil fighting robot now! I'm going to stop you, Mr. Rock, and make you good again!" CutMan said, charged up and ready to stop his brother's path of destruction. However, an electromagnetic force stopped CutMan dead in his tracks. Moving closer toward the wall, he was choking on something he could not possibly see. Closer and closer his breaths were kept stuck inside him, waiting ever so willingly to be let out. The force would not budge, and Cut was soon lying on the floor, deactivated. It looked like he would not wake up. That never ending glare from RockMan stared menacingly into Cut's unmoving body. RockMan soon snapped out of his evil thoughts, and back to the battle. Or so he thought. He looked sadly down at his brother, who was shaking at the floor of his prepared boss room. RockMan had the willpower to carry him back to the lab, but it took force to keep him from waking up. Back at the lab, Roll was tapping her foot nervously, anticipating his safe return. No more than a half-hour had passed, and Cut had been brought back, in RockMan's arms, awaiting the call to be fixed. Dr. Light looked relieved that he didn't come back in pieces. "Thanks to your efforts, i can repair these robots. You defeated them without destroying them, and brought them home! You're a great help!" Dr. Light told him. "Thank goodness...Right Rock?" Roll said, hoping for approval. RockMan waited to see which guy he should come to next. But suddenly, Dr. Wily appeared on the screen, cackling to himself. "Oh please. You defeated your own brother. I could see the determination in your eyes to just KILL him, but your sense of justice led you to sparing his life. You're still just a measly piece of garbage, never able to reach the top, hollowed out enough to actually believe the cheesy crud that this stupid doctor of yours tells you...You stupid machine. All you can do is kill, and nothing more. You think you're saving them, but you're just torturing them to their bitter end. Think about that on the other side. Think about not having any say. How does that make you feel? Tell me later when you get to my skull...Nyehehheehe..." Dr. Wily said, overflowing with suppressed saying of what he thought when he first saw RockMan. A little robot kid with no sense of justice. Just a sense to what stood in his way. Rock looked blankly at the screen, tears of truth streaming down his turquoise eyes...It was not a good feeling, that he usually got when either one of the doctors congratulated him for something he did spectacularly. Ready to shoot the screen, just incase Wily showed up again, wetness now covered his eyes, spilling off the side of his face, and no other feeling than sadness and some form of anger not even he could describe.

"Y-you're all wrong..." Rock said, rather choked up. "I can do more than just kill...I. am. MORE!. THAN! A! ROBOT!" he said, more anger sinking him by the moment. Roll and the doctor watched silently ant Rock's little talk to himself. Words that had never come out of his mouth before had now been coming out like Niagra Falls. Roll was surprised at his sudden take off, but it had to happen eventually...he had to snap at some point, and it was going to happen soon...

Well, that's done. Whatever. I guess it doesn't matter because of all the FAIL that was mixed into this.

The Thing Torontoians Say

Soooooo! This comic was a random idea I had to right some of the things that Torontonians say... now, this is just from my point of veiw so if you're from Toronto and still don't understand, I'm sorry. I can see that this comic might be confusing to those of you who are not from here so I'm going to do my best to explain each pannle.

Pannle 1: Tempature complaints.
I know this happens almost everywhere when people complain about it being too hot or cold but I've noticed that in Canada if changes sometimes rather drastically... and I know Canada is like famouse for being cold or whatever but I dare any of you to come spend a day here in the summer. I DARE YOU! Sometimes it's freezing, sometimes it's really hot but most of the time it's just... mediocre. So... that explains that. I'm aware that it's probably not just Toronto that's like that but...

Pannle 2: Eh.
Thease is a joke to one of our sterotypes that we say Eh all the time. This is actually only half true. We say Eh sometimes with out realizing it and then our friends make fun of us for it by saying stuff like "ha ha, you Canadian." but we do it to each other...

Pannle 3: TV.
This is really just me being random but I have noticed that a lot of people here will just watch whatever the hell comes on and complain about it if they don't like it but they don't change the channle. This is probably not just a Toronto thing or even a just Canadian thing but I felt the need to put it in anyway.

Pannle 4: Verb De Irregular
Vous n'avez pas idée. Apprendre le français à l'école est terrible. Faites-moi confiance. Sérieusement.

Pannle 5: Snowing.
Um... Yeah... so it dosn't actually snow in April here... well.. actually. It did once... but that was more like hail and only lasted for about an hour... it's just another sterotype.

Pannle 6: Moose Shed.
Um... another sterotype that we ride Mooses... I don't know.

Pannle 7: Timbits.
I heard somewhere that you don't have Timbits in America... is that true? That's horrible... Timbits are awesome! No but seriously... you can't walk a damn black with out seeing a Tim Hortens here...

Pannle 8: Polar Bear.
Another Sterotype I heard once that us Canadians live in igloos and keep polar bears as pets... where the hell did you get that idea? No... but I thought this would be funny... and I don't even know what a meat shelf is... so don't ask. I guess it's like a shelf... with meat on it... yeah.

Pannle 9: Hamster Dance.
This is more of my randomness... Deebi dee da dee da do do, deebi dee dee do! That's probably not a Toronto thing but almost everyone here knows it...

Pannle 10: Friday
I know that this isn't a Toronto thing but I just really wanted to put it in there... Okay?

Pannle 11: Pidgons.
There are a lot of freak'n pidgons here... siriously. A lot.

Pannle 12: HERE WE ARE!
Dannle Cook. You remember him right? Well... if you don't, it's this kiddie TV show they used to play on TVO (That stands for Televison Ontario or something) about this kid who used to go bother people at work with a bunch of questions and he would always shout "HERE WE ARE!" I'm not sure if this is just a Canadian thing... I mean they do a parody of it on That's so weird... but the boys in my class make fun of that show by shouting that when we go on field trips so I thought it would be funny.

Pannle 13: French.
Just in case you don't know, that's french for "Shut your big mouth stupid dog..." I don't know. The kids at shcool love to say stuff like that in French Class so I thought I'de put it in.

Pannle 14: Ice Cream.
Funny story... I don't actually remember what I was thinking about when I did that one... something to do with... we eat a lot of ice cream... or something... I don't know. But it's kinda funny right?

Pannle 15: Niagara Falls.
I put that in becuase so many people here in Toronto go to Niagra Falls on a mounthly basses just for fun so I always think it's humorious on TV when they talk about going there as a really big deal... I don't know. We go there a lot.

Pannle 16: Cows.
I know everyone talks about Cows but here in Toronto, we freak'n talk about Cows. Like if you did a pole of Toronto and asked everyone to say a random word, bet you the top responce would be "Cows" or "Cheese" or any other dairy prodect.

Pannle 17: Screw that.
Umm... thease are two shopping centers here in Toronto, and this is kind of more a joke for my neihborhood... Gerard Square is a rinky dink little mall that's in walking distence of my school and all the kids who go there are like "Oh, let's go shopping at Gerard Square!" where as the Eaten Center is a few bus stops and subway rides away but is much bigger and better...

Pannle 18: TTC
I tink TTC stands for Toronto Transit car... or something and is our street car system here. So basicaly... it's always late. And the Silver Car thing is just because there are a lot of Silver cars here too... I don't know. Just more randomness.

Pannle 19: TVO
Yeaaah... Like I said before, Televison Ontario. TVO kids is the kiddie network that's on in the morning and afternoon... and um... it's not very good, but it's amuseing becasue most of us in my generation used to watch it when we were younger and it's funny to see how much it's changed.

Pannle 20: Names.
There are a lot of guys with those names here.

Pannle 21: Papi Jump.
Not a stric Toronto thing but the game is popular here.

Pannle 22: Mouse.
Whenever you're walking around you always see some kind of road kill... Birds, squirrles... raccons... mice...

Pannle 23: In your country.
I hate how the internet is always like "This is not avilable in your country because you arn't from America... screw you.

Pannle 24: Miss Marry
A popular hand game from my childhood.

Pannle 25: Curses.
Um... there's another sterotype that people who live in big cities sware a lot. That's not f**king true.

Pannle 26: Cats.
Just something I noticed that there a lot of people here with a lot of pets, usualy cats or dogs. but I mean a lot of pets. Like... shout out to GiddiantheBlueBear! She has like three cats and like a two turtles and a snake... and... I don't know. But she has a lot of pets and when you ask people they usualy say "Oh yeah, I have a dog and three cats." so I exagerated a little bit in the comic.

Pannle 27: Snail.
Just more randomness. My friends and I often stop and look at snails when we see them and usually help them off the road, but I don't think this is just a Toronto thing, is it?

Pannle 28: Butterflies.
Dure in the summer we see a lot of Monarch Butterflies, Cabage Butterflies, Dragonflies and moths here. I noticed people look up when they see the Monarchs but don't pay much attention to Cabage Butterflies so I thought I'de just make this one.

Pannle 29: Sunglasses.
If you ever come visit Toronto and you spend a few hours in the Beaches, count them. I'm not kidding. Count them.

Pannle 30: Ben and Jerry's.
There used to be a Bem and Jerry's on the courner of this popular street in the Beaches but for some reason it closed and they moved it a few blocks away. Why? Why did they do this?

Pannle 31: Frozen Lattes.
Um... yeah. You always see like groupd of girls here and at least two of them always have Tim Hortens frozen coffee drinks in there hands. always.

Pannle 32: Dip'n Dots
We don't have Dip'n Dots here... I don't know why. You can eat them in Niagara but not in Toronot so tons of people here don't even know what they are witch really is a shame.

Pannle 33: Languages.
Toronto is a very big multi cultural city and I've noticed that on the street car, the only people who answer their phones speak weird languages...

Pannle 34: Sky Dome.
There's this big stadium here thats one of our tourist attractions... and it used to be called the Sky Dome, until Rogers bot it. Now it's called the Rogers center. But they light it up a different colour every night, usualy blue or purple, but they also have green and pink...

Pannle 35: Moon
More randomness. We don't see a lot of stars in a lot of parts of Toronto but the moon is always there... so... yeah.

Pannle 36: Drive thru
Um... We use Drive thrus a lot here, not always McDonalds but, we do.

Pannle 37: Fans
Uh... yeah. I don't know what to say about that one but we have a lot of fans here. I may have exagarated a little, mostly just two or three.

Pannle 38: Zombie
Lol, we throw a lot of parades here, and one that I really enjoy which they have every so often is the Zombie Apocolypes parade where everyone dresses up like Zombies. It's so much fun.

Pannle 39: Squshie
A follow up to the Snail pannle, I've noticed Torontonians use that word a lot to discribe the most random things that they think are cute.

Pannle 40: Dollarama
A little store in my neighbourhood everyone loves going to.

Pannles 41 & 42: Hat
This probably isn't just a Toronto thing, but a lot of teen boys here wear hats that YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH!

Pannle 43: Whatever
A lot of people here don't care when they breake their phones and iPods and just keep useing them when they're broken until they're completly unusable.

Pannle 44: Outside.
He dosn't wanna go.

Pannle 45: Rob Ford
Google Him.

Pannle 46: Ontario Lake.
Ew... it's so nasty, maybe not this bad, but it's bad.

Pannle 47: Holiday Music.
One more thing I noticed. Maybe not the same music but they do have simalar music. I'm not sure why but if you don't know what thease holidays are I will explain.
Remembrance day: A day to honor the people who died in war fighting for our country. With many poems like "In Flanderds Feilds" and songs like "Where have all the flowers gone." We wear Poppies over our hearts and stand around in tears as they torture us with sad music.
Terry Fox Day: Terry Fox was a man with a artifitial leg who tried to run across Canada to rais money for cancer research but he died half way of like... a tumor or something... anyway, we hounr him by walking around the block listening to similar sad music.

All our iPods love playing her songs.

in coming up with a clever title for this picture I came to the conclusion that drawing Don kicking a chicken across the Sterling Cooper office would bring me limitless joy. (title is also a reference to Fable II LOOK AT HOW MANY OBSESSIONS I CAN STUFF INTO SO MANY CUBIC FEET)

okay so I was out of things to do in Biology class (APART FROM DOING MY CLASSWORK A-HUR HURR) so I decided that that I needed moar mad men and drew some doodles from the last two episodes I saw.

for some reason in the third episode (marriage of figaro) I remembered chickens were in the building after they told the oriental family to move into pete's office while he was away at niagra falls on his honeymoon soooooo I couldn't recall if don had a run-in with one of the stray chickens or not but someone did and if it was anyone I knew how to draw best at the time it was him so yeah.

TL;DR: IT'S A CUTE GUY STARING AT A CUTE CHICKEN

the chicken brings me joy.

I will scrap most of these daft little doodles later. I just wanted some attention.

Everyone thought it was a flamingo, but it's actually not. Back in Kindergarten, my favorite show was a tie between The Fairly Odd Parents and Spongebob Squarepants. And yes, I still like those shows >.< On one episode of TFOP, Timmy Turner was going on a vacation to Niagra Falls in a beat-up Mobile Home. He happened to catch the news telling about the Souvenir Bandits hitting nearby gift shop, and when his parents pulled into a Rest Stop to use the restroom, the Souvenir Bandits steal the mobile home . . . with Timmy still inside, of course. When Mr. and Mrs. Turner were mistaken for the Bandits and arrested by the Canadian Police. So then some crazy stuff goes down and in the end, the Souvenir Bandits hop into a raft and begin to make their escape with the Silver Pencil Sharpener, the whole reason Timmy's dad wanted to go on the vacation in the first place. Timmy has Cosmo and Wanda, his Fairy Godparents, turn into a speed boat and chase after the bandits. Of course, Cosmo decides to obey the water traffic law and only goes 2 mph, so Timmy wishes up a pencil and throws it at the raft, popping it, and stopping the bandits from escaping. The police catch the bandits and Timmy's parents are released (only to be arrested again by the end of the episode). However, as the three relish in their victory, they fail to notice that they are about to go over Niagra Falls. Timmy wishes to be turned into a bird so he can fly to safety, so Cosmo turns him into a Loon, while turning himself and Wanda into Dodo birds. Wanda was a pink Dodo bird, and THAT, is why I made this. When I was little, the main female character was always my favorite of a show, so Wanda was my favorite character in the Fairly Odd Parents (but now I don't have one, I just watch the show). Since she was a pink Dodo, I drew her in Kindergarten like that. That's my reason. Nothing but that. And you just read the episode summary to get that measely reason. Sorry. She had feathers on her head also, but I had to cut those off. When I cut it out, my teacher traced it on a piece of cardboard to reinforce it. After that we hole punched it and put a string through it, and we've hanged it on the Christmas Tree every year since.

So at Niagra Falls, my OC Mizzie is forsed to marry someone, and Because Courtney had a "Devorse" with the bear, Mizzie got him, and being one of the bears friends, Mizzie got him to behave, and they won the chlange.

I do not own TDWT, the bear or anything but Mizzie.
