<media:copyright url="http://umsauthorlava.deviantart.com">Copyright 2013 ~UMSAuthorLava</media:copyright>
Thoughts and comments on any character are welcome.

Redoing the system again...The supposed format this time has six buttons like before, but with different functions from the previous system.

The buttons are Attack, Flair, Star, Lore, Guard, and Jump. Attack obviously does normal attacks, Flair and Star are the special move buttons. Lore does grabs, Sideshows (assists) and Tag-Outs, and Style Lores/Legend Lores (super attacks). Guard does guarding and dodges, and Jump does...yeah, jumping.

The buttons below the character will change palettes. Click the buttons up top to change to different pages. On each page listing moves, click each button next to a directional input to go to that move. (D-Pads with an A on them mean that the move is done in the air) At the bottom of move descriptions are little white/blue icons. Hover the mouse over them to see what they mean. The blue icons dictate special hitstuns.

Launch, Bounce, Rocket, Slide, Stumble, and Crumple may be obvious, but there may be a few that are off the beaten path. Zap will hold foe in place for a bit (save for horizontal momentum, but that's halved). Burn is kind of the Strike of this system, in that it pops the foe upward a bit. Sleep works in two ways. On the ground, Sleep lasts longer than most hitstuns, but furthers regen instead of stopping it. In the air, the foe just falls to the ground and suffers impact damage. Freeze hitstun isn't interrupted by any other hitstun.

Oh yes, Style/Legend Lore projectiles aren't marked as projectiles, because such moves aren't made to be counterable or reflectable.

-= JAGGER =-
- Palettes: (default), Dante (Devil May Cry), Raiden (Metal Gear Solid 2), Jin Kazama (hoodie) (Tekken 3), Cole MacGrath (inFamous), N (Pokémon Black/White)
- Inspirations: Ryu (Street Fighter), Cole MacGrath (inFamous 2), Magneto (Marvel vs. Capcom 3)
- Lore: Jagger's Trance has relation to Fenrir, a wolf in Norse myth that's said to kill Odin during the time of Ragnarok (hence his Final Lore, Ragnarok Edge). Fenrir could only be restrained by enchanted ribbons.

-= HANARYU =-
- Palettes: (default), Twilight Sparkle & Spike (My Little Pony), Mulan & Mushu (Disney's Mulan), Youmu Konpaku (Touhou), Rydia & Mist Dragon (Final Fantasy 4), Clair & Kingdra (Pokémon Gold/Silver)
- Inspirations: Chun-Li (Street Fighter 2), Filia (Skullgirls)

-= KEVIN =-
- Palettes: (default), Marcus McCloud (Star Fox Command), Zoroark (Pokémon Black/White), Kokonotsu (Ninmenjushin), King (Tekken), Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
- Inspirations: Ken (Street Fighter), Super-Skrull's Human Torch moves (Marvel vs. Capcom 3), Mai Shiranui (King of Fighters)
- Lore: Kevin's name comes from Street Fighter 2010, a sci-fi platformer released by Capcom as a futuristic spin-off of the Street Fighter games. The protagonist was originally named Kevin Striker in Japan, but the English version changed it to Ken, insisting that it's the same Ken Masters from Street Fighter. Incidentally, Kevin is almost like the Ken to Jagger's Ryu. As for why Kevin's Trance changes him from a fox to a dragon, consider that Inari, the Shinto goddess of agriculture, is also sometimes depicted as a dragon.

-= CHAPERON =-
- Palettes: (default), Princess Peach & Toadsworth (Super Mario series), Jotaru Kujo & Star Platinum (JoJo's Bizarre Adventures), Kitana & Mileena (Mortal Kombat), Parasoul & Black Egret (Skullgirls), Princess Cadance & Shining Armor (My Little Pony)
- Inspirations: Parasoul (Skullgirls), Kain Highwind (Dissidia Duodecim), Stand system (JoJo's Bizarre Adventures)
- Lore: Chaperon's cloak, Sigurd's Aegis, is named after a legendary Norse hero who wielded the mighty sword Gram (Chaperon's fan), and slain the treasure-guarding dragon Fafnir (her umbrella). The name "Alastor" is the Greek word for "avenger" - notably, getting revenge on past crimes. However, while the Erinyes exact vengeance on the murderer, the Alastor attacks the murderer's family as greater punishment. The name Alastor can also mean "man's defender".

-= REXTOOTH =-
- Palettes: (default), Yoshi (Super Mario World), Spike (G3) (My Little Pony), Garble (My Little Pony), Barney the Dinosaur, Cranidos (Pokémon Diamond/Pearl)
- Inspirations: Yoshi (Super Smash Bros.), Valentine's Vial Hazard (Skullgirls), Iron Man (Marvel vs. Capcom 2)
- Lore: The Pteryx Device is obviously named from the archaeopteryx, one of the first feathered dinosaurs, and a successor to the miniraptor. The Darwin System should probably be called the Owen System, though, because it was Richard Owen who first thought of the term "dinosaur" and gave the theory of evolutionary adaptation.

-= BUCK =-
- Palettes: (default), RED Team (Team Fortress 2), BLU Team (Team Fortress 2), Abraham Simpson (The Simpsons), Coach (Left 4 Dead 2), the Grim Reaper
- Inspirations: Laguna Loire (Dissidia Duodecim), Scout (Team Fortress 2), Valentine's Vial Hazard (Skullgirls), Saki (Tatsunoko vs. Capcom), Snake (Super Smash Bros.), Chris Redfield (Marvel vs. Capcom 3)
- Lore: The Winchester weapons aren't solely named for the Winchester rifle, but for the story surrounding the wife of its maker. Sarah Winchester feared vengeance from the spirits of the victims of the rifle, and for that she kept building her house bigger and bigger to escape them.

-= PIXELOT =-
- Palettes: (default), Mario (Super Mario Bros.), Link (Legend of Zelda), Samus Aran (Metroid), Mega Man (Mega Man), GameBoy screen color
- Inspirations: Mario (Super Mario Bros.), Link (Legend of Zelda), Sir Arthur (Ghosts & Goblins), vegetables (Doki Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. 2), Samus's Ice Beam (Metroid), Hammer Suit (Super Mario Bros. 3), items (Final Fantasy)

-= FOOBAR =-
- Palettes: (default), oil, water, Slimer (Ghostbusters), Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man (Ghostbusters), The Smooze (My Little Pony)
- Inspirations: Ultros (Final Fantasy 6), Arakune (BlazBlue), The Emperor (Dissidia), Jill Valentine (Marvel vs. Capcom 2/Resident Evil 5), Charger (Left 4 Dead 2), The Binding of Isaac, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
- Lore: Foobar's named is obviously derived from "FUBAR", a military-derived acronym that (in the lightest context) means "fouled up beyond all recognition". This can well describe how Foobar was made - zombie bodies were blown up so hard that their parts were unrecognizable. There was also a Flan variant in Final Fantasy 12 called a foobar.

-= BETHANNE =-
- Palettes: (default), Felicia (Darkstalkers), Cheshire Cat (Disney's Alice in Wonderland), Tidus (Final Fantasy 10), Ms. Fortune (Skullgirls), Scootaloo (My Little Pony)
- Inspirations: Felicia (Darkstalkers), Taokaka (BlazBlue), Juliet Starling (Lollipop Chainsaw), Wolverine (Marvel vs. Capcom 2), Simba (Kingdom Hearts), Viewtiful Joe (Tatsunoko vs. Capcom), blitzball (Final Fantasy 10)

-= NICOLAS =-
- Palettes: (default), Christmas colors, Deerling (Spring) (Pokémon Black/White), Soarin' (My Little Pony), Lightning McQueen (Cars), Vanellope von Schweetz (Wreck-It Ralph)
- Inspirations: Applejack (Fighting is Magic), Captain America (Marvel vs. Capcom 2), Fluttershy's Stare (Fighting is Magic), Pikachu's Quick Attack (Super Smash Bros.)

-= DRAGONCLAW =-
- Palettes: (default), Batman (DC Comics), Iron Fist (Marvel), The Doctor (Doctor Who), Son Goku (Dragonball Z), Captain Blue (Viewtiful Joe)
- Inspirations: Captain Blue (Viewtiful Joe), Superman (DC Comics), Iron Fist (Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3), Phoenix's TK Shot (Marvel vs. Capcom 3), Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem (Pokémon Black/White), Zeus (Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale), Unrelenting Force (Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim), Fighter Kirby's Force Blast (Kirby's Return to Dreamland)
- Lore: The Baldanders scarf, which maintains his human disguise, is named after a Germanic shapeshifting creature. The Final Fantasy 13 antagonist, Barthandelus, a fal'Cie that guises himself as a human Primarch, is also named after such a being.

-= KOIBITO =-
- Palettes: (default), Sekai Saionji (School Days), Sailor Moon, Mion Sonozaki (Higurashi), Haruhi Fujioka (Ouran High School Host Club), manga monochrome
- Inspirations: PONPONPON (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu), Raptor Boost (Super Smash Bros.), Cardcaptors, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Strider Hiryu's Ouroboros (Marvel vs. Capcom 2), Sol Badguy's Dragon Install (Guilty Gear)
- Lore: Her special gohei, Ame-No-Uzume, is named after the Shinto goddess of dawn, mirth, and revelry.

Uzume coaxed the sun goddess, Amaterasu, out of her shut-in state by dancing merrily atop a tub and catching her attention with a mirror on a tree.
