Here you can make your very own dachshund! I included a variety of eye and hair colors and fur variations. It's the first Flash game I have ever made to include a scroll button that cycles through things and I am so glad it worked!

As this just focuses on designing a character, I didn't include many clothes. I feel that if you decide to make one of these into an actual character, you'll come up with the clothes on your own! I might redo this in the future to include more clothes.

PET ADVENTURE v1.0 MANUAL

INTRODUCTION
overall, this is a very short game, don't worry if you can't win the first time round
take the first few tries to get used to the controls and what to expect
you play as, well you basically
at the begining of the game you can 'temporarily adopt' a pet dog
pretty straightforward, your dog has health, attack
and how long you can temporarily adopt him
if you think his health is too low or time is too short you can opt for another
don't get too attached, you can only have him for
a measely never more than 200 seconds or less
one you choose one, you and your dog are set to find the elusive treasure troll

MENU
okay, here's when the time starts counting down
and probably the moment you regret choosing such little time
there are two things you can do before facing the treasure troll, or while waiting for your pet to locate him
as he is always on the move looking for little buried treasure or the occassional looting and plundering

one is to purchase stuff, there are three things you can buy for your dog
a water bowl, a collar and a chew toy
which wouldn't be practical when facing the dreaded treasure troll so it's not available for purchasing
instead you can buy weapons, fish and good ol generic branded DogFood
DogFood restores your pet's health, by one point at first
so better buy the upgraded flavour to get your moneys worth
fish increases your pet's max health, so he can take more beating
weapons enable your dog to breakdance like mad so the treasure troll will be so impressed
he will practically give you all his hard earned stolen treasure
but most likely he wouldn't, so the weapons are to hurt him more or less

second is to set out and do some oddjobs to earn some moneh
because you're broke and coudn't really buy much stuff in the first place
there're currently 3 types of oddjobs you can do (at random)

BATTLE LANG GOU
the wolf challenges your pet to a fight to see if he still has it in him
within the time limit, if you can defeat him he will pay you for the workout
if not, he'll just laugh an old wolf's laugh of self victoriousness and pretty much have forgotten about you
what you need to do here is simple, repeatedly smash the orange circle representing a strike
each blow will inflict a set amount of damage depending on your attack
but occassionally there'll be a guard which you have to press before each second
else he will deal some damage to your dog

COLLECTING FIG FRUITS
hornbills like fig fruits, so one of them (let's call him Bill Horn for now (so much cheese))
offers to pay you for each bunch of figs you can collect for him, sounds easy
catch is that it's durian season and it's quite dangerous but you'd do it anyway for fun
what you need to do here is imagine you're playing stepmania or dancemania or whatever mania
watch the bar at the bottom and move left, down or right accordingly
each correct move allows your pet to avoid a falling durian and buy enough time to pick up a bunch
each miss step however results in a blow in the head, and a regret for not buying a helmet
which they don't sell in the shops anyway so don't bother

EXTERMINATING BUGS
Minou the cat has taken up selling fish to other cats or to anyone who likes fish
problem is that so much fish is attracting not only flies but many other bugs
she wants them gone because apparently they're not paying her for the fish
you wouldn't be able to kill all the bugs but she'll pay you enough for those that you do
when your pet gets in quickly grab the sword and start slicing
but watch out for those that crawl up the leg and sneak from behind

ON A SIDE NOTE
there are two ways of losing your pet
1, you're so cautious of his health you forget the time
2, you're so cautious of the time left you forget his health
or maybe you two've been spending so much quality time together you don't regret anything when
the time runs out but he will still feel sad you two didn't find the treasure
if you lost your dog either way, you'll be brought back to the adoption page
where you can adopt another dog, for free apparently, run by some anonymous charity service
you do however retain the sum of money you have before you lost your last dog
but if you're a shopper and have pretty much have spent still you're below RM 100
the magic money fairies of charity will fill your pockets till you're back to RM 100
I usually wish I have some of them around
and before you ask, no you can't lose your dog because he got bored and wonders off

FIGHTING THE TREASURE TROLL
i'll let you figure this one out

lastly, there is some form of cheat if you care to find it, well then I think that's all
if you do however, want to play a game in which you pet and bath your dog
