* I do not believe in them, it's just for fun
* If there are errors (grammar, language... anything), I'm really sorry. English is not my first language and it's even more difficult when you don't have a dictionnary XD
* I do not own Finland (the character) who is from Hetalia

No more suggestions please!! I really appreciate it, guys, but at this point I've got more suggestions than I know what to do with, and they've been getting really repetitive. I am still accepting designs for manes/tails/accessories/etc if you're willing to draw what you want, but unless you're going provide the design yourself I'm already swamped. I do still want to know if there are any bugs in the game or you see an area where the interface could be improved. Sorry guys. I asked for fic prompts, and then promptly ignored them all so I could teach myself Flash coding. But I'm happy with the work I've done, and I hope you enjoy it too!

So! I've gotten into the new My Little Pony show, which is awesome and you should totally be watching. I say this as a staunch feminist and someone who often dislikes stereotypically girly things, so trust me on this.

Anywho, this is my pony creator! There are several similar Flashes floating around done by different people, but I really wanted one that allowed you the option for different body shapes, gender, and expressions. I think I've done a pretty good job of representing everything I wanted to.

A million (billion trillion) thanks to . She's been cheering me on this whole time and acting as my tester, plus she designed a bunch of custom manes, and traced the manes from the show for me to use! If you like it, be sure to drop her a thanks too.

Also much thanks to for letting me use some manes and tails she designed as well. All custom manes are marked with a little icon according to who made them, if you're wondering what those are. There are also some manes based on Homestuck characters that are marked appropriately as well.

There are lots of options, so explore! And if you notice anything funky be sure to let me know.

In the future I want to add dynamic posing (because it seems a shame to have such dynamic facial expressions on such a static pose) and, hopefully cutie marks. In fact, that was supposed to be in this version, but I forgot, and after working on this for a month and a half I need a break.

I'm also going to be adding more content in the form of manes, wings, accessories, and anything else I can think of! So check back every once in a while.

The original concept for bob and emo. I still don't know what I was thinking, but it's become that one thing you draw when you're bored. It really requires no artistic ability to draw these two.

Their characters changed though... when I drew friends I made Bob very naive about things, very innocent. Emo isn't a depressed jerk anymore, rather, he is a kid who is trying to be that emo stereotype, but fails at some parts.

I'm not sorry if this offends anyone anymore, you don't like it, god grow up! Don't look at it.

Oh and people who recognize the song rock!

Great 90s hero or GREATEST 90s hero?
I don't believe some people out there appreciate just how awesome Captain Planet is.
He kicked ASS and taught us to RECYCLE and be ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, at the same time!
Name one superhero, just one, who has done that since 1991.

Even if all that supposed racism/stereotyping/proSovietUnionism is all actually true; who cares? We were like 10 years old, we didn't understand any of that.

Song: Tsuchie - Breezin'

Been inactive for a while - finished this piece a few months ago but wasn't able to post it until now. Cover image commission for the website Guild Launch. I also made a second image that's not in rotation on their page yet. Have to wait until it's posted and then I can submit it here.

Anyways, they wanted an image with two characters (male and female) that would be relate-able to the audience. A big problem with fantasy art is that women are often overly sexualized, depicted in skimpy cloth armor (if you can even call it that), and often pushed to the side as support characters.

On top of that, you also don't see many people of color in the lead roles or as the heroes either.

This is what I came to in order to make the piece relate-able to a wider audience than just white males. Because women and people of color also enjoy the fantasy genre, and would like to see characters like themselves that aren't stereotyped and/or forced into support roles.

That being said, thanks to Guild Launch for being open-minded and letting me run with the idea.

THIS IS A SATIRE. Captain Ig'nant represents the unfortunate hold of negative stereotypes placed upon the black community. I am black, most of the voices are black, and if you pass this off as "racist" and do attempt to understand the message, you are not doing any favor for the issues. This is meant to make people laugh yes but also point out the flaws in the current image of black America.

This is my animation for my junior thesis at the University of the Arts. And yes I got an 'A', haha, thank you Elliot Cowan.

Whenever a black person even THINKS about acting rationally, or dares to rise above stereotypes, your friendly hood-ass Captain Ignant is there to save the day! From African Americans getting shot for ridiculous reasons, to suburbanite black kids trying to be hood, Captain Ignant is there to keep black people the way they were "supposed" to be: IG'NANT!

I did NOT think this will end up to be a one day animation....that has in fact the most layers i EVER did. I just wanted to do some dynamic movement that encompasses their ...at times...jumpy nature. and it transformed into whole stereotype encyclopedia : P

I really don't wanna get into details of why some people think that and how many guys does it actually apply to. The differences between less civilized tribes...more civilized and the newly emerged one that has built own city and created a community and has a slowly growing history. Too much to describe in here

For some reason, the kids who watch this completely miss the point. It makes me wonder if I portrayed this accurately enough to show that Leo had absolutely no way to accurately tell which game Aeris was looking at. Kids assume Leo was just being stupid, while a lot of you smarter viewers know exactly what's going on and understand the message.

Side rant: I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely HATE self-entitled customers. People who walk into a store that you work at and assume that you were put on this earth to serve them. Just to clarify:

"To receive goods or service from a business is a privilege, not a right"

On the off occasion when someone comes into my store and acts like a total dick, I'll refuse service and ask him/her to leave. If they refuse, I threaten them with police action. We do have police regulars, but they don't come in too often despite the stereotype. Actually had one guy arrested one afternoon for coming in (drunk) and calling me suggestive names. Like the British idiom for "cigarette" for example. He was out of my store in like... 2 minutes.

Well i'm planning on making a return soon, hopefully this will make up for my absence a little, it took me around 6 hours (flash just loves crashing on me after 4+ hours of long, strenuous work and forgetting to save regularly >:C)
It's a WIP and its a really big MAYBE for inking this, i'm just lazy so yeah xD;

I really got inspired to make this something new for me, perhaps its a really stereotypical kinda thing, oh and redmoon you're such a pussy you cried umg.
lul my manly man wuff is allowed a sensitive side if he wants one geesh!

And the reason that there is only one cub there at the moment (even though Red and Blue had 4) is because he is the significant one for this scene, plus i chose to stick to a realistic cub, eyes closed, ears back etc. because it's total shite for a young animal to open its eyes to look into their parents with their cute little ears up like MAMA

I was going to make a nice preloader, but then I was like nah. /insert stupid blue bar/

62 people auditioned for a part. Many of you have never auditioned before, and I was honored that you had the courage to send an audition for the first time to me. Wow. If you did not get a part you should not be too discouraged: in fact, I'd advise you to try out for other projects if you like voice acting. Heck, in this case all of you auditioned without even knowing what you were auditioning for! You must be crazy. I like that.

I want to send personal thank-you's to everyone, but 54 is a lot. If you want feedback on your audition let me know. Some of you are on my list to contact in the future if I need different types of voices for something new.

I only had 8 parts to give out. This time around it's going to be:

My personal view on all the wolf-lovers around here... XD

I know a LOT of the things here are not true... and I know BB isn't an emo band. But hey, this is meant to be a stereotype of every character sheet I have ever seen, so, no offense to wolf-lovers I know lol.

The animation itself takes backseat to the voice, obviously, which I altered on Ulead Videostudio.

Also, the wolf I traced from a picture in google... cuz I definitely CANNOT draw wolves .

I had fun d/ling those asian soundfonts =_=;; yeah... And I didn't finish a 2nd theme so this time it's just 1 theme instead of 2.

A stereotypical ninja class member would be quick, dark, sometimes sad O.o, and swift. They're usually small people LoL.

2) This is not the original file. The original was too huge to download..trust me. This is a 950KB flash file. Thus the sound quality might hurt your ears if the volume is too high . The animation is at 25 frames per second, so excuse the 'sloppy' look.

We were told to do an animation on social issue's. I chose the influence of Pakistani cinema (Lollywood, the name sez it all 99.9% of the movies are laughably bad). Movie's are based on ridiculous dance sequences and costumes of the actress, corny dialogue, a butt ugly old hero,. and a mustached guy with the axe. He's a popular stereotype. The bad @$$ guy who can live through all sorts of bloodbaths and beat everyone up...plot? plot??!! there's no such thing!

-A brief outline-
The movie opens with a very stereotypical scene from a Pakistani movie, followed by the very stereotypical dance sequence. *Intermission* and the tv is switched off. We see a guy...the sort that love these movies getting inspired by them. The very next day he tries the same moves on a girl. The girl transforms into the scary moustached guy, pulvarises the poor loser and walks away

-Random info-
The title of the animation is Wahshi Haseena part 2...which would translate to wild beauty...wild as in vicious and beast like. Wahshi haseena part 1 is an actual Pakistani movie. The songs have been obtained from various Pakistani/punjabi movies. The lyrics(I apologize for the bad sound quality again ) pretty much depict whats going on screen.

Forgive me for not making sense(as if I usually do) Donated blood today so

Garithe acquired Lazueras through a trade when Lazueras was a Metang, and has changed quite alot since then. Mostly this is in regards to his growth upon evolution. Careful and steady. He is often seen with Ai.

Nature: Bold
Characteristic: Very motherly
Ability: Keen Eye
At roughly 13 years of age, Bonnie is the senior of Garithe’s party. She isn’t much of a contest Pokémon, but Garithe keeps her in his party due to his attachment.

Nature: Impish
Characteristic: A huge flirt
Ability: Lightningrod
Ace is the second newest addition to Garithe’s party, but surely the most spirited. The Pokemon is the last to be modest, and the first to be egotistical. One of his few redeeming features is his fierce loyalty. Is often slapped around by Ai.

Hero
Female, Zigzagoon
Nature: Brave
Characteristic: Very friendly
Ability: Pick up
This loving Pokemon is never seen far away from Garithe without good reason. The two are partners, through thick and thin.
_{I planned to add more 'flash’y type stuff, like when you clicked the Pokemon you could hear their cries, but August's sound was derping around and I have to fix it... xD Enjoy what I have done, and expect updates to it.}

This was made for my History of Animation class, it earned me the final points I needed to pass the class.

Assignment: Create a 30 second or more animation at 24 fps with a beginning, middle, and end. This is 45 seconds, done in flash using a tablet.

_{I went through several story ideas, some too short, some too long to make (I didn't have that much time). This piece ultimately came from another idea that was built off another idea for an animation that had Amber and I with our fursonas, so in a way, Amber, my inspiration, inspired it! Clearly it doesn't star us, but it came out pretty cool. There was another beginning and end in mind when I story boarded it, including two other characters, but it changed, heh heh...}

Can anyone guess what's happening in the story? I will point out that the rat is a Judgment Rat, something I kind of made up based on another idea, and the chef is stereotypically named Tony. Enjoy!

For the record, the sprites were all ripped by me from Ogre Battle and the music was also ripped by me from Super Gokuden 2 (which was never translated, but hey, I beat it and it was fun) and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest...

Interactive Gaydar Characters

Platformer Game Concept:

Start with Gaydar, crash through levels to pick up your friends.

Gaydar can box and punch, and use glue to slide, climb walls, and attack.

Nishi uses his rainbow-trailed spanking paddle to punish bad guys' butts.

Lesbuni attacks with books and knowledge, and travels underground.

Foxy flashes herself to put enemies in a daze.

Lesbuni and Foxy have realized they're pretty opposite and having a hard time staying together.

Stereotype. Stereotype. Stereotype. Stereotype.

Enemies become all colorful and non-violent after being hit.

As always, comic plot scenes as the story moves forward.

Potential villains:

Don Badge. Gimpy outfit as per suggestion. Bondage themed level and boss.

I'm thinking rather than a bunch of pointless enemies in each level, just have one pop in and out all over the place? Like as you're going through the level, they're trying to catch up with you and attack (but not in the annoying way where they literally follow you.) Anger Mouse would be good at scurrying around for that.

I think that's about it. I'm just makin' it for fun alongside Boxer Beats. I gues want to try and learn how platforming/side-scrolling games are made so I can do 'em all easy forever.

I think the fun kind of gameplay for it would be closest to Sonic games were? I like getting through levels as fast and smooth as I can. In Mario games there are a ton of enemies and any little thing will fuck up your run. Megaman is too cruel and strategic so you can't just run through a level for fun.

I just wanna wooooooooosh bang bang.

Like Reny, he also a vampire. There just friends...not lovers...and even if that happend, it wouldn't work out because he's gay. He's not stereotype gay either, he's the kind that wouldn't know unless he told you.

Don't Be That Guy - Animation

A brief animation I made for my college's entry into the National Student Advertising Competition by the American Advertising Federation.

The company we were advertising for was the Century Council, a group formed by alcohol companies to stop binge drinking and overuse of their product (see article here for more info - [link] ). It was interesting to come up with an angle for advertising, since they didn't want you to stop drinking their beer, just drink it in moderation. So our team came up with the slogan "Don't Be That Guy"--as in, don't be the guy that drinks so much at the party that he becomes the stereotypical "annoying drunk".

So here's That Guy drinking so much that he collapses. My college's team went to Houston for the competition we won the Judge's Special Media Award for the art and design used in the presentation--and especially (which humbles me) this little drunken stick man.

Asian.Indian.Arabic Theme

I play a lot of 'interesting' (as I put it) improvisation keyboard music (and who doesn't anyways? (if you play an instrument that is)). This is just one of my more recently played songs and I wanted to record it down so I can remember it. The bad thing is my microphone is TERRIBLE and so there is all this static. But at least you can still hear it. I kinda stereotyped Asian, Indian, and Arabic music (because honestly I don't know what they sound like but this is what comes to mind when I hear this song).

The song is about 3 minutes long I think and done in one instrument. I sped up the tempo because it sounds better like that. The song starts out quiet and builds up quickly very similarly to a fugue (one theme and then it's repeated and more is added on) and there are even several parts where you can definately tell I put some Bach in there. I got a lot of inspiration from a friend of mine who played this amazing improv. with the cello in this Arabic-like style. It was relaxing. XD This song is more 'action' orientated. The middle section of the song mellows out but because of the fast tempo, you might not get too relaxed by it. Oh well. And then it blends quite nicely into another fugue part which builds and builds and then comes to the conclusion of the song.

Now I think the ending is probably the most interesting part of the song because it's done in (and I forgot the official terms for this) a style called call and response I think. You'll have one theme playing and then when it stops an entirely different melody comes in to 'respond' to the 'call'. Then the 'call' returns and this pattern repeats itself till the song slows and finally ends.

Please critique the music (not on how well the notes are because this is improved so obviously there are mistakes). Actually I don't know how one would critique this.

And on a random note...I have no idea how this is art. Humbug! MUSIC IS ART! The ultimate art! Bwahaha! I am Darkman!

Just a small practice animation. I made to take my mind off of things.

I hope you like it. It's about a stereotypical werewolf named Tom. After all, werewolves just howl, run around for a bit, eat a few people and POOF! Back to normal.

I guess you could consider this an early Halloween-y thing.

Australia Day 2012

Happy Australia Day People! Though, it doesn't really apply to anyone outside of Australia but oh well.

I decided to go with Adelaide and Perth, because the states they represent are the only ones that include Australia in their name. But now that I think about it, Canberra should be included too, being ACT, but meh, everyone forgets about her right? It's only natural.

I hope you enjoy this little piece I put together. It certainly is a twist to what you'd expect from a celebration.

To be honest, Australia Day isn't really something that is celebrated on a huge scale. It's just an excuse to have a day off work, eat and drink and whatever. Unfortunately you won't be seeing any blokes havin' a good time with his mates with a barbie goin' and a couple of coldies in here. Hell, I'm not even going to have lamb chops either.

This piece went through a few changes, from being just a single picture to a comic to a little animation. I feel that (after discussing it with people) it's better to have the frames come out one by one to maximise the effect. Adelaide was really fun to draw and colour.

Did anyone notice the background is the outline of South Australia? Did anyone also notice South Australia's crest?
Adelaide is supposed to say "G'Day Mate!" which is the stereotypical way of greeting someone, but it seems out of place so it was decided that she speaks a bit more formally. If you didn't know, we hardly ever say that here, well... us city-dwellers anyways.

Adding sound really made it more enjoyable to read. I used the sounds from the Professor Layton games and kinda followed their method of text delivery.
Overall, I quite like the result of this project.

Oh, and don't ask me why I made the button say "Clicky". It was just a spur of the moment thing...

We were being taught how to use Flash in University. Although I did do a few short exercises and things, learning the ropes and such, this was my first proper cartoon feature. I made it off my own bat, basically get in on the practice.

It's quite a big file, about 1 mb, but its worth the wait.

This animation is all about fanstasy stereotypes. It was made to show the idiocy of fantasy novels and how the genre has become so systematic with the way it goes about with it's adventures/journeys. The most ironic thing about this is the fact that the mountain i used is the same mountain that was used as Mnt. Doom in LotR.

I was so frustrated with this the whole way through it all. I made the file too big.. which ended up over 200mb at the peak of my angriness. I also accidently deleted one slide of the "damsel in distress" scenario, which has really left me unsatisfied with this piece.

I loved the tower i made but sadly when i put the princess over the top it was really hard to see her expression and her identity.

Even though these two accidents made the project a little dodgy, i still think it's a neat little project, and it's helped me with my skills. Guess those tutorials really paid off!

Butterflies

On the third floor of the Physics building on my college campus, there is a butterfly garden. For nearly everyday this past week and a half, I've gone to visit because at this time of year there are dozens of caterpillars pupating and making their chrysalises. So far, I haven't been lucky (or patient) enough to catch a butterfly just emerging from their shell, but I have been there to watch them dry out their wings and take their first flight. And so far I've already served as a perch to at least five butterflies. It's kind of heart warming and a little exciting when they're about to fly for the first time. After sitting still for so long (sometimes up to two hours), they suddenly perk up, raising their bodies and spreading their wings experimentally. Then, they take off and fly like they've done it all their lives. It's kind of magical to me. I think even if I wasn't an Entomology major I still would be studying these guys for fun. Luckily for them, I don't need to collect anymore insects from their order. Besides, I don't think it would be fair to end their adult lives after they've only just begun. Anyway, I sure hope the other chrysalises hatch soon. The weather's getting colder and they don't have much time left.

Fun fact; the butterfly on my hat took nearly three hours to animate. it was so tedious, omg. Also, I do own a hat like that now. I'm going to decorate it with tons of buttons and pins like the stereotypical artsy person because I think it's cool. Also, I'm sitting on a concrete wall, in case it was hard to make out what it was.

Since this involves elves, orc, and dwarves I decided to go with an appropriate font to go along with that. Even looked up what colors are commonly used in medieval art.

I'm so glad I'm still able to draw her consistently. I like how I did the hair here too, been viewing some tutorials on it.

And woo dresses!! I am not a fashion designer, if you can't tell by my oversimplified dress designs here. Srlsy, when it comes to costume designs I'm like, "Hm...? Oh, you need clothes..." I'm good at drawing super heroes, cats, ponies and robots for a reason >.> (One day I'll be good at designing dresses.)

Orcs:

Isn't this first headshape adorable? And in case it is not known, I haven't drawn orcs before. So if you think they're way too goofy and not scary, well that's part of the reason. The other is that I was told I can go outside the stereotype and so I did. I tried to keep them simple in design so they'd match Egwinda's art style.

I'm leaning towards the J'onn/Prowl and Bulkhead faces to be honest. They're a little less simple but not overly complicated. Now imagine them being fabulous!! Or just turned into girl Orcs, I'll let saber decide that one XD

Body types, either you can have a tall Orc or a short Orc. Either way they get short legs and are thick.

I don't do much with my own hair, which is why I had to look up hairstyles >.>

No idea why I went with a sort of Native American theme with the first two dresses, but I like them anyway. If you want her to have armor instead, just let me know saber. The last dress is all fancy XD As for the boy clothes, um...yeah, went with a caveman thing there...I really suck at costumes >.<

Elves:

I was going to try and come up with 8 heads, (4 girls and 4 boys), but wound up with just six and this random Asian elf. I like her though, and would like to make her sometime in the future.

As you can see with the body types, I got lazy. My creativity just sort of went on vacation at this point XD I apologize.

Had to look up hairstyle references again and came up with these for the elf. I figure going the Legolas route would be too easy though I kind of went there with one of these. Also got a Loki hairstyle going on in that top right corner. Random mohawk, almost had Spock but made the hair longer, random granny hair, and the smoothed back, short hair is my 'Bruce Wayne' hairstyle.

The following over simplified dresses were inspired by the wonderful artist `meago!! Seriously, her dress designs are so beautiful No shoes were drawn cause they would've been boots or flats either way. (Sandles in the winter make no sense.)

Oh look, boy clothes >.> (I seriously need to do more research in the medieval clothes department.) And this time I did draw shoes cause it would be weird to have pants that go into nothing. I like the Poncho myself XD

Initial Reality Episode VI

This is a series of about 3-5 minute episodes. I have 6 done as of writing this. The story is about a young peasant named Hiro who goes on a quest to become a hero. It's a stereotypical rpg adventure. I don't plan on putting any of the other episodes on here. If anyone is interested, go to my site and watch the rest. Not Another Kungfu Fight

Here it is, I finally figure out a way to share my hilarious 3D max animation with the world now. This is the 2nd half of my 3D animation demo reel. Features two funny looking character (or racialy stereotypical?) fighting each other. Unfortunately I had some major problems when I imported the 3D model of the chubby guy from another program, so you'll be seeing some unusual odd shadings on the chubby guy (in white and blue shirt).

Another thing is that this is animated in 3D Max Character studio, which is commonly used for games, so my characters don't have ability to have facial expressions.

Artists' note: Well, this is not made in flash but I am kinda taking advantage of this system by converting my original mov file into Flash with Adobe Aftereffect 6.5

Beer Song - sneak peek

Now... this song I'm animating is by Zakk Wylde, and basically it's all about how wonderful Beer is!! (ain't it the truth?)

anyway, like in my journal I'm starting to get back on track (CAN I GET AN "AW YEAH!"?)

This here is Charlie Mopps, mentioned in the song as "The Man Who Invented Beer" basically I made him irish because of their stereotypical appearance on drinking (I worship them) but also made him a red head saying as how they're usually "jolly" and... well. yeah!

As proof that I'm actually animating this I've just slapped this part of the animation on it's own slate, behold the power of Charlie Mopps' stubby march!

Oh... and yeah it's good to be back!!
