A short little sonnet I wrote for school.
Any critiques welcome!!!

_{(I will admit, my Johnlock-headcannon-feels greatly influenced this. There is no doubt in my mind that Sherlcok loves John, but I fear that John doesn't feel the same and that breaks my heart)} ]]>
Glowing brightly, a vision of pure joy.

Her smile for you, your eyes only for her.

None can doubt the love of this girl and boy.

Your own light is brighter than I have ever known,

She is good for you, far more than myself.

I once thought, in time, our love could have grown,

But the chance passed, these thoughts left on a shelf.

You are perfection, (I, dark and ugly,)

You brought happiness, what did I give you?

I stand by your side, (the wrong side to me,)

Oh how lucky she is, to say "I do"

I thought, I hoped, I... but in the end no.

Goodbye my dear friend, I must let you go. ]]>
