Though, do you pity Al, just even the slightest? This chapter was exposed to be a bit of a tension reliever (failed one) and/or to make the reader happy because he's going to be his ass kicked by Artie. But...Al's past is sad though, it's hurtful to see how that brought up his life, it's not much of a surprise of why he didn't accept that Reader-chan loved him, I mean, he grew up thinking it wasn't real and that he wasn't meant to have love. Just imagine what life would have been like if he had a good family? Maybe things would have ended up differently...And do you think it would have been better for Reader-chan to never have met him, like he now wishes?
