New project I trying out at the moment.
This method called polarization...

...take a polarized surface ( polarized film, Ipad) and backlit it put any plastic ware on top of it and take a picture using a crl polarized filter on the lens. This is what you get. By turning the filter the colors will change. Great fun.

This is one of my most hard work photo ever
almost 50% of the equipment used was on trash:fly:
Light: My own bulb, attached to a broken headlight of a car (found on garbage), and the extension wire i found on the ceiling.
Smoke: I rolled an old news paper (found on garbage) in a very tinny stick like (like an incense), then borrowed a lighter to a friend.
Background: my old black T-shirt.
Stands: a carton box for the main light, a rusted sardines can for the rolled paper, a disposable with cup used as stand of the glass (all from garbage and i cleaned it up )
And my camera and tripod
The shots was taken in an abandon room, while i'm sited on a floor It's clean

You'll excuse me being in a particularly silly mood recently, but I felt like this would just be a fun one to submit. I was making a tye-dye t-shirt and when I went to rinse it out in the bathtub, all these wicked crazy colors started flowing from the shirt into the drain, and I had to take a photo of it. I think it may end up being more supportive data towards the theory that I might have ADD. Pretty colors...

Anyway, yeah it's not really of any sort of artistical merit, IMO, but I see a few different ideas in it. Whatever. Enjoy the splash.

It's inside of Mirage Hotel. A little place at the corner of lobby filled with colorful neon lamps pretty much every where. The path changes the colors constantly and it was a favourite place for children.

Experimenting with food colorings.

This was taken with a table lamp and a wine glass. Lamp was behind the glass, very minimal set up at home. Food colorings were dipped onto the surface of the water with a syringe. Tiny bits of food coloring can help control the speed of them dropping to the bottom of the glass so I had more time to shoot the forms and shapes of them. ^^

There's nothing really special that you have to do to create something like that. It is some what like smoke photography, I feel that it is very dependent on luck.

Trendy Hot Colors for Spring 2009

Keeping a new color in mind while stocking up on basics or snatching up a few accessories in the season's hottest shade are affordable ways to change your look for a new season. By only focusing on color, you can buy pieces you'd be picking up anyway, ensuring you won't stop wearing them just because they're no longer on the cusp of trendy. Whether your style is bold or more muted, spring 2009 color trends offer exciting new shades for your wardrobe.

Pale Neutrals:
Unlike Fall/Winter's dark and vampy neutrals, spring feels very, well, spring. Pastels are a trend every time March rocks around, and 2009's pastels are super light and bleached out. This lends to an urban feel, especially if mixed with flashier spring colors, but can also be worn alone for a light-colored lady-like look. If you only do one neutral color, make it slate gray. Gray is "the new black," as they say, when it comes to spring trends.

Ultra Bold Hues:
Big bold colors for spring '09 are highly saturated jewel tones, especially lemon yellow and jade green. Hot pinks are also super popular, but any highly saturated bold colors will do. The In-Betweens:
For spring color that's low-key but still color, try rose, lavender, or salmon. Varied shades of salmon are big for 2009's warm months. Wear a salmon top with gray skinnies and giant earrings for a look that's comfortably striking and perfectly trendy.

Metallics are also super trendy. Wear silvers, golds, and shiny versions of your fave colors above. Work metal tones into your entire look, or use a metallic bag or shoe to give a colorful outfit an extra kick.

Another year, another trip to the fair.

I love taking pictures at the fair.

Didn't have as much time as I would have liked this year, but still got some nice shots. I have this exact shot with the wheels not moving, and with just the front wheel in motion. Shall I load them, too? I was thinking maybe make them into a triptych sort of thinger.

I printed the background after created it in photoshop (using the Render>Clouds) on paper then set it up I was surprised that the colors turned out like so! I am not sure if I lke the drop. I was hving an off day with the drops, just the shape of them, so none really turned out photogenically. But I do not think the drop is the main subject here, but the colors

FULL VIEW IS ALWAYS MUCH BETTER

Edit: Wow! My very first DD! I am honored, and I thank all of you who faved, saved, or commented on this piece. I was asked how I did it. Quite simple really. I just put the lens into manual focus mode and purposely blurred the lights. A little bit of post processing to add contrast, and it was done.

Chapel of Thanksgiving 06

The most prominent and recognizable feature of Thanks-Giving Square is the Chapel of Thanksgiving, a small, spiral tower that features an enclave for prayerful thanks. The entrance to the chapel is at the end of a 125-foot bridge that runs over a cascading waterfall. Inside the chapel, the spiral is topped with stained glass "Glory Window", one of largest horizontally mounted stained-glass pieces in the world. The window features brighter colors as the spiral reached its apex, becoming brighter as it reaches the center.

Edit after DD: Thank you for the DD (my first!) This is located in downtown Dallas, Texas, USA. It is awe-inspiring and breath-taking. For a few of my CoT pictures, I actually laid down in the center of the Chapel, which was awesome. The view and colors changed from every "angle" (the Chapel is completely circular). It is open to the public and an amazing place to visit.
