Like my previous photo I need to edit this since the original photo turned out a bit blurry - and hopefully my editing skills

Photo taken at the Georgengarten (Hanover) and also lacks watermark because isn't worth it as well (yet)

This wonderful old structure sits on Hwy 17 North, in South Carolina. I saw it when I was traveling south to Charleston from Myrtle Beach. On the way back north I stopped to photograph. The building sits right on the edge of the hwy and although overgrown, it doesnt appear to have had much room for parking. But it seems like a business structure. I would love to know what it was in its prime, if anyone from SC knows, let me know.
This sits right on the hwy at a small intersection, one of the roads that intersect leads to a plantation museum, this side road leads to who knows where, its a small road.
When I parked my white rental Van and got out, I walked around the building with camera in hand, a few cars and trucks passed but it was slow on the road. One car honked as it passed me... i wasnt sure what that honk was... was it; hey a fellow photographer, or hey you cant park there.. my mind tends to go to dark places, so I also wondered if it was.. hey, thats the haunted place, dont stop.. or there is an old man with an axe hiding in the trees get out..lol..
I took a number of pictures that late afternoon and I thought this was the best, I also experimented with a number of looks and thought this BW version best captured the feelings that moved me as I stood wondering about the secrets of this building and the lives that occupied it and shared the space on their trek north and south over the years.

This mill is rare case: it is in my hometown, and here sure ain't too much abandoned buildings. This was also locked for many years, but last weekend I did notice that one window were open again. I did still have to climb few meters - getting upwards at the wall wasn't problem even with camera and tripod, but getting down was thing that I was... little bit... You know. Of course you get always down but without injuries... Anyway, I did it and I am bit proud of it.

Because I Just love cows! ^^, Sometimes the farmer let's them graze on the other side of the fence where they drink from the river, This was just after it rained (I went out just before the heavy rain to get a picture of them, camera in one hand full pint of ale in the other, I just got to the river side and the rain fell heavy, all the cows stampeded back to the barn which was kinda funny to watch XD), I had to walk all the way back across the field getting soaked, [If I was to run I'd spill my beer], I like the rain anyway so it was all good ;]

What: Bluebell Woods. Tuesday 14th May 2013.

Armed with my trusty Rolleiflex and my wife’s Sony RX100 I wen to the Bluebells woods today. There was a lovely sunrise which just didn’t quite turn out as hoped but this shot seems to have worked out better than I had expected. Plus I had a lovely chat with two other photographers and got told off for standing in someones frame. Oops, sorry whoever you were.

Imported into CS6 (stand alone not creative cloud) and shoved a signature on it, for those people who think orphaned works are for the taking. I would have loved to have my 200mm lens at this point as the compression would have made the Bluebells really thick. I’ll have to rent a camera for this coming week.

This a photo I took with my dad's analog camera back in 2008. I was 13.

After cleaning my room recently I decided to organize my photo CDs and FINALLY put them onto my external hard drive. Most of them are the one's from that Hawaii trip only one or two of my watchers will remember... but I remember. I'm so glad I took all those photos, even though they were terrible and grainy since I wasn't experienced enough to know about ISO number and whatnot.

I'm going to rent a camera from my school again and take some more pictures some time in the next two weeks. :3

Edit: I decided I'm going to use this opportunity to try out this Premium Content thingy. As a result the price is very low since the image is only 1818 X 1228

This is the first abandoned farm house I've ever visited alone, and it was really scary, even in sunshine. I'm chicken, I admit it! ;D I didn't go in, even if it was unlocked, because it looked severely rotted. I wish my camera hadn't been out of juice, this is the best shot I got of it, but I plan to return to it.

Milano - Piazza del Duomo

Here's one of the first pictures taken during a month-long trip to Europe. This one in particular was taken near the Duomo ("Cathedral/Dome") of Milan/Milano, Italy during the very first day, not long after my family checked it. It seemed like a good idea at least among my parents that it'd make for good sightseeing as well as break any potential jet lag...although I was admittedly dazed when I took this.

As a little bit of trivia, there was an upcoming Andy Warhol exhibit being advertized at the time.

*Also, as to why the date's on the camera's wrong, well, that could be the result of several recharging attempts.

Light Fixture Welding 1

As you guys know, I got a new welding job with a friend of mine who is an electrician
So basically, we have been welding light fixtures into a building set up to be an industrial warehouse
But - as you may see, it is obvious we were not equipped with the proper climbing equipment (read: a taller ladder)
So with some improvising and a friend's shitty but trustworthy camera - you can see me climbing up on beams

Note that this is considerable dangerous and only one of us had a welding hood
You should ALWAYS have a welding hood when welding and watching someone weld
No exceptions
So do not take me to be a role model, chuvak
