Some history: The City of Medina's humble beginnings began in 1818 in northeastern Ohio. In 1848 a fire destroyed the entire business district. In 1870, another fire destroyed 45 buildings. Much of the Medina Square, including the Town Hall and Engine House, was rebuilt. The bank, which had been destroyed leaving only the safe to remain standing, was rebuilt and named the "Old Phoenix Bank." It was said that one reason Whitey's Army Navy store remained untouched was because he hosed it down himself. Medina spent ten years rebuilding after that fire, giving the Square a more common Victorian style. If you ever come to Ohio, I would recommend visiting Medina's Historic Sqaure.

To close the night out, I took some quick ones over the lake to the south from a bridge in Central Park. It's a little shaky because I didn't have a tripod... A ten second exposure will do that to ya... but I'll be back to paint the trees in the VERY near future.
