Spring is almost over and the days are getting hot here.

this pond was a wet hike but when I saw a tidbit of the scene from the dirt road, I piled on the brakes, grabbed the gear and climbed through the swamp in my running shoes .... lol! They're drying on the porch right now.

... there is a beaver living in there. After this shot, he ruined the reflection by slapping his tail and making ripples.

He was very angry with me.

After shooting some nature scenes, Chris and I headed to an abandoned house he knew of near North Bend, NE. We were reluctant to enter, as even the porch looked pretty shaky, but we went on in. This is a shot of the living room, where you can see torn walls and ceilings, dead overgrown bushes outside, and snowdrifts on the floor (under one of the drifts, there was an old oven!). It was an extremely eerie scene. This is probably the best composition I found in the house.
