Because I haven't seen a theme from JPG in a bit I came up with my own. Come up with a book title and then make a book cover.

This is a 9 image HDR double toned in Photomatix Pro 3 with add contrast from Photoshop CS3.

I am just pushing myself to do other things here. I have been coming up with book titles and trying to put together still life and things that fit the title to make a book cover.

Just something to keep me from watching TV all day.

PS2 Games, RPG +more Collected

Darn it, I hardly worked on anything this week with starting school and a new job, but SMT: Persona 3 is finally released in North America which mean all the great PS2 games that's going to come out here is pretty much already out, and not much is left upcoming for the system.

There's no point going through all the PS2 stuff that can be found anywhere, so I gathered some of the better games and things of my PS2 collection at this point before stocking most of them away. I tried to keep everything alphabetical but Suikoden games really needed their own roll because they are too awesome (maybe not every single one but as a whole), with the games not laying cover up being brand new factory sealed. Unlike games in my other systems' collections, I bought at least one copy of most these games brand new, I used to do it a lot more often back when they had the factory seals which I kept on almost all PS2 games I got new.

Everything shown in the picture include: Suikoden III x5 (1 brand new but not shown because it's been packed away for years) Suikoden IV x2 (1 new), Suikoden Tactics x5 (3 new), Suikoden V x9 (8 new), Dark Cloud 2, SMT: Digital Devil Saga Vol. 1 x2 (both complete, 1 new & sealed in box) & Vol.2, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness x3 (1 new), Gitaroo Man, Growlanser Generations x3 (Deluxe Edition new), ICO, Marvel VS. Capcom 2 x2, Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, Rez x2 (1 new), Shadow Hearts x7 (7 new, 1 case only), Shadow Hearts: Covenant x2, Shadow Hearts: From the New World x2 (2 new), Shining Force Neo, Shining Tears, SMT: Devil Summoner, SMT: Nocturne + Guide, SMT: Persona 3 (1 new, will buy 2nd open copy soon) + Guide, Tales of the Abyss x3 (3 new), Xenosaga Episode I x2 (2 new, black labeled first print), Xenosaga Episode II Promo DVD x3 (2 new), Xenosaga Episode III x2 (2 new), Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner x2.

There are many others I own that didn’t make the cut like: Grandia Xtreme, Steambot Chronicles, MS Saga, Wild Arms series, NIS titles (La Pucelle, Makai Kingdom, Phantom Brave...) Top Square Enix titles (FF X, XI, Kingdom Hearts II...) & lesser ones (Radiata Stories, Drakengard & 2...), and just all sorts of cheap old RPGs. Some of the ones shown are not that valuable either, like Dark Cloud 2 or Shadow Hearts: FTNW, but they are pretty good games of solid series, plus I have the guides to complete each set (the Shadow Hearts: FTNW guide is worth more than twice as much as the game). I have way more copies than I need for most of these titles because I just can’t stand seeing great games I love sitting in the discount pile yet still no one’s buying them, so I’d buy all that I can afford which isn’t much since I have no money.

In terms of what I don’t have, I don’t really care for certain game series like .hack, but I do think it’s neat to have all games of a series like that so I’m always willing to get them at the right price too; I’m also sure I am missing out on some cool fighting games that are rare or certain action games I never heard much about, I just hope I’d be aware of them soon to try to get a copy before it’s too late. The PS2 games I need to buy during the next sale on the top of my list right now are Odin Sphere, 2nd copy of Persona 3, and a backup copy of SMT: Nocturne if I can ever find one at regular price.

Antidrac is a product series of dragon antivenoms which are produced by an underground pharma-company located in bavaria. They collect tissue from the venom glands of dragons, reproduce the organs and supply the acquired into pigs which produce antibodies.

This is maybe not the final version of the box, because there are some points where I'm not satisfied with.

Here the translation:

Instructions
!These medicaments are only to use for the treatment of dragons bites!

Step 1
As long as you have not injected the antidote
try to reduce the blood circulation in the treated
body part. Don't move in haste and try to breathe evenly.
Step 2
Spraying them first a little air into the bottle so the subsequent absorption of the serum become easier. Note the respective dosage recommendations on the label.
Step 3
Let now turn to a circulation of the blood and inject the antidote above the bite. Try to make the liquid slowly and evenly to the body.
Step 4
If you are still conscious, you should try to reach a save environment. Call an ambulance. Stay calm, read a book or do anything else that might distract you from your current plight.

Possible side effects include fever, nausea, dizziness
Warning: Antidrac is not suitable for oral ingestion!

Another 3 months, more games were bought, once again it feels like the more different titles I get, the less games there are I can find to buy, most of the games I bought recently were pretty cheap due to all the sales around the holidays, and there are more are more games bought for the newer systems.

From the top left for the PS3:
Rock Band 2 Special Edition- new $110 already have the 360 Rock Band set, but this was too cheap to pass up, bought one for my friend as well, and returned the PS3 GH:World Tour set as soon as I could because those drums didn't work right
Folklore- $16 interesting game, tried it when the game first came out but haven't played it since
Metal Gear Solid 4- $20 not a MGS fan but it was cheap and the best PS3's got
Valkyria Chronicles- $35 good game, in case anyone haven't heard already, best rpg on PS3 by far
there are some cheap stuff not shown like Haze & Unreal Tournament III

Playstation:
Parasite Eve II- $10 should be worth the price

Xbox 360:
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition- $16 just in case I want to play it again someday

I bought very few games after the last update, picking up only about 3 games for myself before buying some others and blu-ray movies I already had, mostly as gifts for my 2 weeks trip. So after I got back in April, I got maybe 10 games since January. I didnt really have plans to get much more either, as I was counting on not buying any Wii games again Then there was a great sale, and my responsibility to provide games for the PS3 I help to buy lead me to stock up on all good/low priced titles for PS3 and all other systems.

All the PS3 games I got this time around except FFXIII and the sealed games are to be given away, they were mostly bought for $5 or less each, about a handful were $8 each, others prices are noted. I did some serious dealing and came out with a good profit on top of keeping all 70+ games I bought during the sale, I'm obviously not playing 90% of them, but they'd make a hefty gift or if I just sell them off, it'd be a good $350-500 more profit.

Was also going to get my PSP altered on my trip, but lost it as soon as I got there. Good news its finally found recently since there were lots of games with it, though I wont get everything back until next month.

Most of these games were pretty much all bought over the last couple of weekends, sucks that lots of them don't have their booklets, but they are not rare classics anyways. It was fun to shift my games buying focus from rarity and value to quantity and variety, then at those prices I'd take whatever game that's good, especially when I'm making money off most of them. Again I'd say I'll be surprised if I get so many games in a 3 month period again, but I guess I'll never know.

Unlike many of the classic records, I am much more familiar with most of these albums and personally enjoy the music very much.

I am really enjoying this new found hobby and all the great music I'm getting to hear. With plenty of other great albums I want to get, I'll be keeping my collection going, though hopefully do a better job at regulating/limit my spendings.

Stop Drop and Roll!!! - just as good as any Green Day album in my opinion. Best: Stop Drop and Roll & more

Awesome as F**k - sealed with shirt, havent heard but not having Horseshoes and Handgrenades on it sucks

Gorillaz:

Midnight Boom - got at the show, love getting vinyl for a good price without tax. Best: M.E.X.I.C.O. & more
Blood Pressures - first new record/release bought on vinyl in store, got way more than I should since then good album. Best: Heart is a Beating Drum & more

Kings of Leon:
Come Around Sundown - sealed, heard some songs from it that sounded good. I was told their early work is better but I didnt care for it after a few listens, though I thought Only by the Night was good, when others tell me its over produced and not really their style. I guess I might be missing the point when it comes to their music.

M.I.A.:
MAYA - thought it was worth a try at $5, only heard side A...

Mumford & Sons:
Sigh No More - great, more banjo than I expected but its not a problem. Sounds similar to the Arcade Fire to me, but way better than The Suburbs as I just dont get that album. Best: many tracks

Muse:
Black Holes and Revelations - first great used vinyl find at a local store. Best: used to be Starlight, now it has to be Supermassive Black Hole.

Pearl Jam:
VS.
Vitalogy
both were released on RSD11, haven't listened to them yet.

The Postal Service:
Give Up - right up there with the best of deathcab albums. Best: Nothing Better & more

Radiohead:
Pablo Honey - Best: Creep
In Rainbows - Best: Bodysnatchers
just may be the best values on this list at $5 each, my roommate is really getting me into Radiohead and Thom Yorke, Im still learning to like them and The Bends is by far their best album to me at this point.

The Shins:
Oh, Inverted World - sealed, only know New Slang, need to hear the entire album
Wincing the Night Away - Best: Phantom Limb
was about to say Broken Bells sounds better after hearing the single, but wasnt totally impressed by their entire album, Id think The Shins are still better.

Silversun Pickups:
Carnavas - one of my favorite albums and a must have, came with a 7 of 2 songs I never heard but havent got to listen to them much yet. Best: Lazy Eye of course & many other great tracks

Spoon:
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga - the greatest thing to come out of Austin ever? At least to me since I dont like Austin. Great album, sadly their others seem to be quite weak. Best: Dont You Evah & many more

The Strokes:
Is This It - didn't fully appreciate the greatness of this album until I got it on vinyl. Best: Barely Legal & many more
First Impressions of Earth - Best: You Only Live Once & many more
as I have learned in the past year: The Strokes are awesome. I will also admit to a male crush on Julian Casablancas, not so much physically, but what a life he has.

Sublime:
Sublime - older picture disc version. Best: What I Got & more

The Official Vinyl Collection: got it new but didnt get the poster for some reason

Under the Great Northern Lights - nice live album, wish it had more songs I love like Little Cream Soda (love that song)

Twilight Cover Saga Music Box

Twilight Inspired Jewelry + Music Box
- rough draft -

+The wood jewelry box is in the shape of the books, and nearly identically sized. It has faux pages on the side and the spine says the names of the books in raised white ink.

+ The box was hand-painted by me, and though the colors in the pic tend to look cheap, the red is a rich blood red color, and the black is jet black.

+ The cover is the token 4 book covers;
- hands holding the APPLE
- the red and white ruffled FLOWER with blood red Swarovski crystals down the middle of the flower
- the ripped RIBBON with black swarovski crystals adorning the inner curves
- the CHESS BOARD with black swarovski crystals lining the black marble, and a large white AB rhinestone on top of the white chess piece.

+ The inside is not finished, it will have red velour lining, a windup musical movement that plays Debussy's Clair De Lune, and the top will have a laminated move picture

PLEASE!! ...feel free to give any feedback or suggestions on what to change or add, NONE of the rhinestones are glued into place yet.

::Jack Daniels began making their signature whiskey in 1863. To their credit, not much has changed since the then 13 year old Jack Daniel took over his distillery from owner and father figure Dan Call. This is when the signature process of creating Jack Daniels, which is mellowing through hard maple charcoal, began. The young Jack Daniel registered his distillery in 1866, making the distillery the oldest registered in the United States. The company continued making quality whiskey and continued growing steadily throughout the late 1800s. The whiskey first defining moment came in 1904 when Jack took his Old No. 7 whiskey on the road to the Worlds Fair in St. Louis. After 4 days at the fair Mr. Daniel brought the Gold Medal for whiskey back to Lynchburg, Tennessee, where the whiskey originated and continues to be produced. In 1905, Jack threw a tantrum and kicked the vault at the distillery, breaking his toe. Blood poisoning resulting from this injury would ultimately lead to his death in 1911. He left the distillery to his nephew, Lem Motlow, who continued running the company with Jacks own dedication.::

Soul Eater....is finally...finished. I went into OCD mode when I was painting this thing -___-;;....but I'm so damn PROUD of how it turned out. I almost don't wanna give it up next weekend at Matsuri. *sigh* But I have to, and it's going to a very good friend ^ ^. Anyway, this thing lived up to it's name. It ate my soul...and quite a bit of my blood...and most of my red paint. Hmm...I'm seeing a pattern here...
