A few have heard the stories or read the texts I have spent the last 20 years writing.
Over those years I have gone out of my way to meet and learn from. Jolene Blackshear, Tracy Byrd, Jojo Wyman, Fredia Gibbs, Hollie Dunaway, Sarah Goodson, and Lisa Foster. (Those were just the women so I could hear their stories about being a woman in a male dominated sport) I interviewed trainers, promoters, and even commissioners.
Here is the first woman I ever talked to, outside of the real life Tigress. Jolene Blackshear.
During our correspondence we talked about a lot. Shortly after her fight which was the biggest women's only pay per view event at the time (I remember the HUGE snowstorm that hit Colorado that night. Back then, worst in over a century) and her telling me "We had some pretty bad turbulence flying in. It must have been that storm" and she mailed me these flyers and a nice letter.
We kept up until she lost her title, which was fine with her because she had to finish med school. Recently she made a comeback and got her title back! It shows the corruption in other countries, though. She went over to Seol South Korea (I bet I misspelled something there) and lost the title, though she dominated every round. I think she even knocked her opponent down requiring a 10-8 round in her favor. Every American who went there lost their fight. Jolene was pretty disgusted by how the sport is these days, and I believe retired.
She is one of the good people.
So many of my rivals would sit there and say "I know female boxers! They are so aroused when they fight and so empowered by my adult art!"
I know better. I know how they feel on the matter. I wont say we're friends, but we're on a first name basis. Most of these gals know me (And really like Sierra. One promoter thought the art was "Fucking awesome!" Knowing what I know about what they think is part of why I have a problem with erotic fighting.

But one day, and it is only a matter of time, thay will kill me. Comfy shoes adapts to your feet, but these! These adapts your feet to them!
But you can wear them at any situation. Yup. You name it. Any occasion they fit. School, gig, shop, station, war, hike, work, fight, ambulance, wedding, plane check, swimming, cinema, lazing around TV, writing poem, goth-whatever, oi-ska-punk-skin zusammentreffen, running away from sick and angry dog/mob, in the kitchen, churching in front of God, you will blend in perfectly in Belarus, Uncle Sam party, YMCA helloween costume, police check and so on.
And the best part is the sound. You will learn to choose your walk on certain surfaces. Yes, the march-like sound is so addicting.
