So after weeks of having turned this assignment in, turns out I'm the only one done and everyone is behind. So instead of giving me another project or let me move forward, my professor has me... wasting time.
So I started retouching the project and as I worked on it I started hating it. I've numbered the sort of steps I had this until the sort of "final" one. I'll probably work some more, some tweaks here and there, but yeah, I think I'm pretty much done with this.

Well firstly we were assigned to create a sort of crown, mask, head wear thing that would require a series of advanced masking techniques to be ensemble. After I decided what I wanted to do I went online to find the different pieces and bits I'd use. Of course by the time I was halfway through this, some of the stuff I had found didn't work and had to re-search for more.

1. Normal picture, this is the picture before I played with it. I wanted a picture that looked menacing but sexy in a sort of simple way. I also liked this one because Natalie Portman has such a symmetric face. This would make it easier for me to place all the stuff in her face.

2. I like to think of this as a "sketch." This is where I started adding snakes. They were taken out of a Medusa toy I found on the internet. I decided that they were disturbing since they looked quite fake compared to the sharpness and realness quality of the other picture I got.

3. So I decided to remove those and add the gold ones instead. This is where I was kinda "finished," or so I thought. By this point the nose piece started bothering me. Since it wasn't really connected to the rest of the crown, it just looked odd.

4. Nose piece off, and enhanced the serpent skin texture so it'd look more real. More Medusa-like.

5. Final picture. I think this is quite better than what I had before. I made some adjustments to the serpent part of the crown so there would be depth in between each level of snakes. I also added more shadows around her eyes and enhanced the greenness of them so it would make you kinda feel drawn to her. I also added other shadows and lights on her face. Also fixed the crown in some places like where the two eyebrow pieces met.

When the Medusa snake hair popped up in character creation i just had to do it!

She's blindfolded so she doesn't turn anyone to stone(duh), but she can still see you through all the snake-eyes.

She uses Aeon's fighting style.

Limecrime Makeup Ingredients:
Siren applied lightly with a little Vixen mixed in to create the shade. Apply this mixture all over the lid and past the outer corner of your eye into a soft point. Apply Medusa lightly over the point and on the inner corner of the eye to give it a more sultry look. Line eyes and apply Medusa on top of the line.
On the inner corner of the lower lash line apply Goblin's Gold Glitter, on the rest of the lower lash line apply Medusa and lightly smudge downward.

Every year my family has a summer vacation, and this year we went to Bucharest and Istanbul. Bucharest was a letdown, to be honest. Bucharest was once called the Little Paris of the East, but it's recovered badly from the Communist era and no longer lives up to its moniker. Istanbul was incredible though, I was constantly in awe of the beauty of the Bosphorus and the many mosques.

The Basilica Cistern, called Yerebatan in Turkish but also often called the Underground Cistern, is the largest of several cisterns below Istanbul. It was built in part by Emperor Constantine, and later finished by Emperor Justinian. It provided water to the Topkapi Palace.

One of the main attractions of the Basilica Cistern is two medusa heads that are used as bases for columns. One is on its side and the other is upside down. Legend has it that the reason they're inverted like that is so that it negates the power of Medusa's gaze.

These are the inspirations for Medusa new band of servents. They will appear in my SE fanfic, but not for quite some time, as the story progresses i will introduce them.

Hades wants to rule the world, which stands in the way of Medusa's motive to recreate the world in her image, so while she tricks Hades into thinking she serves him, manipulates Arachne for her own evil plot, and outwitts the DWMA, she must find allies strong enough to compat her foes. Unknown to all of her foes, she has found just the right people for the job. She treats these warriors more like allies then servents, but they are still just expentable pawns for her own wicked goals. She has filled their heads with all sorts of lies and misguided them into following her.

Lobo(Inspired by Stark) top left

a lazy, reluctant, and unenthusiastic man who spends much of his time sleeping, which no one appears to stop him from doing, except Neko. Despite this however, he is surprisingly observant and a capable analyst. Lobo doesn't seem to care a great deal for his fellows, possibly due to the fact that most of them hate him. A dark, mysterious, and emotionless vampire who has merged his vampiric powers with that of a witch, thus has lost his craving for blood and is a sort of vampire/witch hybrid-like kishin with power that can rival Asura's. Umbra is a very cold, callous, dispassionate figure, and is rather aloof, brooding, and indifferent, willing to harm both his comrades and enemies should they ever get in his way. Despite this he is not particularly violent and will only fight when provoked or ordered to. Umbra is an empty being who finds no true purpose in life. his loyalty to Medusa springs from the fact that she has raised him and that her beliefs are all that matters. he is always calm an any situation and never loses his cool.

a human who would give anything and everything for the sake of power. he follows Medusa in hopes thatshe will make him the most powerful human alive. he hates the DWMA's rules and finds them annoying.

Grot Dakka Tank

“We got a problem ere, all r enemies av lotz of transports for dere boyz, plus deres da big critters dat rip though r tanks like deyz nuffing, so we created the ‘Dakka Tank’ to unleash lotz of powerful dakka on da enemy; So look out boyz we’z gonna unleash the DAKKA!”

I took the Dakka Tank to my gaming club a few weeks back and while they loved it they couldnt help but be concerned with its size.

True its only a few mm shorter and slimmer than a Basilisk, but it is still half the size in length. Someone then made an ingenious suggestion to add a little trailer to it therefore increasing it to the correct length.

So I went back home that evening and created a trailer using my old Little Bugger tank that was no longer needed due to the Squig tanks representing the sentinels now.

It worked so well that I built a new trailer using one of the wartrakks I had kicking around. I also added a banner to increase the rear height for purposes of line of sight.

At last I’ve finally completed the Dakka Tank; representing a Hydra flak tank for those of you who can’t realise that due to the weapons.
First thing I’ll say is that turret is a right pain to paint and getting rid of the mould lines ain’t easy neither, so I ain’t looking to the creating the 2nd one.

As for the tank I’m very pleased with it, especially the smaller details such as the ladder for the gunner and oil spill which I used to cover a slip up I made during painting. I added some resin bolts to the leman russ turret to give it a more sturdy look and replaced the original bridge for the two sides of the turret with an ork biker bit that has a small motor in the middle, perfect for powering the gun feeders.

Some people have expressed concern for the size of the model since I maybe taking the grots to the UK Throne Of Skulls tournament later this year. The tank is the same width as a rhino and with the turret is just a bit higher than a predator, so this shouldn’t matter especially as they’ll operate in a squadron so they’ll be easy to spot.
You’ll see more of this tank later on in the project as I’m planning to have alternative turrets for a Griffon Mortar and Medusa variant.

I’m now gonna start work on a much simpler model, the grot signature vehicle; The Doom-Vee, I’m working on two different types of mud caps for the wheels which I’ll upload tomorrow so I can get feedback on which one looks better.
