I took this a while ago in Williamson Park, Lancaster (or, according to my camera, in 2013). Thought I'd upload this now as I've recently discovered some excellent tutorials and scripts for the GIMP and wanted to try them out.

This was editted (at least, the butterfly was editted- I left the background how it was) using an excellent HDR technique available as a tuorial here [link] and, as a script here [link] (you might need the dodge and burn script also [link] ). I found these really useful in giving photos an extra depth to the colour and a greater sharpness.

And, if you don't have GIMP, then...well, I hope you like the photo anyway
