Yawning tiger.

Panthera tigris altaica - Siberian tiger.
One of the tigers were walking around in the habitat, while the other one, which
is on this photo, was lying down and taking it easy. My sister and I were just about
to walk away from the tigers when he/she started to yawn and I just about managed to
capture those photos!

Location: Borås Djurpark, Sweden.
Camera: Canon EOS 60D.
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM.

I've accomplished something i never thought i would. I captured one of the most elusive animals at the Toronto Zoo: their female Clouded Leopard.
For those who have been to the Toronto Zoo and have gone in her pavillion, you know how tricky it is. The enclosure itself is very dark and there is horrible back lighting and dirty glass. Only 1 skylight offers a chance of getting a clear shot.

This was a dream of mine, to capture her. I never thought it would happen within 3 years of serious shooting.
The ISO was very high, so there may be grain. I hope you still like it though

Gypsy is a actual draft horse I have gotten irl. Shes' a percheron mix and her right side actually looks like that. Shes beautiful and my new horse character. Her eyes are deep brown with blue at the bottom, shes pretty badass

We met this lovely guy today at the zoo in Heidelberg. We were lucky to get to see him this close and not much later he already left us and climbed off into the tree. I was really happy though because red pandas are my absolute favourites

So I went to the San Diego Zoo Monday, and took a shit ton of pictures. If you add together all the pics I took on vacation (the zoo, seaworld, the beach, etc.) it would add up to nearly 800 pictures. Out of all the pics I took, only a few of them looked decent ahah

Last week, when I came back from work, I made a very strange encounter. I were walking on the sidewalk in front of the school near where I live, and saw a racoon in a tree in broad daylight ! At first I thought that the ball I saw in the branch were part of the tree, then I got very intriged and got a little closer to the tree, only to realized that this wasn't bark, but fur ! It was the back of an animal. So I made the tour of the tree, and I saw the little Masked face. He were pretty cute, but I'll have to say, it's very strange to see racoons in the day... they usually come out at night. I don't know if it was sick, injured or simply just lost, but I hope that he's ok now.

P.S: Please don't mind my english if it's bad, I'm french Canadian.

There was like 4 baby mice/rats running around at the bottom of the field, I think they got disturbed by something. One had it's eyes open, so I managed to help get it down a little hole in the grass/hedge which looked like it went to their den. The 3 others had their eyes shut, and after I got this shot of it in the mown grass, I managed to get them all back down the little tunnel thingy

I think they are brown rats, but I'm not too sure so if anyone knows what they are for definite, please say!

Yes, i know they look a whole lot more like kits in the picture but that was the only realistic picture i could find of them together.. I guess you could just call them Autumnkit and Ripplekit together! lol.
