For Halloween 2010, I didn't want to carve a pumpkin, instead I wanted to paint. So I painted a Metroid, his name is Brian.

I was out with my girlfriend today to watch one of the most beautiful sunset since a long time. I took a few pictures and will submit more
I really love the colours in this one and how the grass turned out. I had a few problems with the bleding of the layers, but I hope you do not recognize it immediately
I called it "end of the world" because the traces of the airplanes look like rockets or metroids falling down. Somehow it reminds me of the film "Armageddon". Dunno why

This is a painting I did on my closet door since me and my sister were painting the side because of well...it was plain wood when we moved here...so we had to make it look creative. :3

Yeah...I decided to put blood on the Metroid's teeth...
I don't know why though...it was just for randomness I guess. XD
Plus I don't add blood in my artwork as much anyways...Xp
...this was my first time painting this year to be honest...I never painted traditionally since a looong time ago.
So I know this picture is a bit...cheesy? I guess?

Do I need to turn on a warning of blood for this picture? Or it's good enough it doesn't look too gory?

Ridley is gorgeous. He is the first snake I purchased over the internet and got shipped to me in the mail... So I was pretty excited. He is an 06' Graziani line Pastel Male Ball Python. He weighs about 650g in this picture.

And for any of you wondering, yes he was named after Ridley, the infamous space pirate in several of the Metroid games

Tiger is the brown and black one. He is the youngest out of the three cats I have. He is named after TigerClaw from the Warrior books.

Ridley is the orange one. He is the fatest and is fixed so he is also the most lazy. He is named after the main villain from the Metroid series.

I have another cat named socks but I couldn't find him for the picture. Socks is just a male version of my character Talia so if you want to see him just go look at her ref. XD

The day after was pretty much the same. The sun rose, and the feeling was the same as the evening before when the sun set. The winds were picking up, everything was orange. This picture was taken in the late afternoon. It for some reason reminds me of Metroid.

I took this a while ago at the Aquarium. It was a fun day with my lady, though while she was busy admiring the animals my mind slipped away and saw other things that nerds would see.

In this case this jelly fish came out looking like a Metroid.

'Metroid' stone

This strange rock that lies chained outside some property is said (by some, anyway) to be a rock from a Metroid. Though it's rather much unsure. There's no crater or something nearby, but it seem to have been there for a pretty long time, and it do look a bit odd.
There's a field just nearby from it.

Looks neet huh?
It's called a "schlucht", some sort of crack in the middle of an mountain!
It was really cool, with rivers flowing trough it, waterfalls, and a lot of grass.
the photo doesn't say enough though...

If you ever played: "metroid prime" and walked around tallon overworld, you will see a resemblance! to bad it wasn't raining like in the game, it would give it a nice feel

This is Kraid, the heaviest snake I own. He is about 6 ft long and weighs about 25 lbs. He is an 03' Yellow/brown Male Blood Python. He's extremely tame and is an amazing animal to handle.

Kraid is also named after a Metroid character.

If you have ever seen one of these, then you know what true danger is. At that point, you stop whatever you are doing and back away....slowly. No need to anger them. Try to keep peaceful relations. And then at midnight, when they're all asleep, grab a paper bag, grab the whole thing with the bag, close it tightly, then throw said bag into the campfire. Never poke it with a stick, never linger for too long near it unless it's way past sundown, and never provoke them. Feel free to use this picture to spread the warning about these nests, just tell me first and provide a link to whatever nature page you put it on. These things remind me of the War Wasps from the Metroid games. Industrial-size hornets. Stay away at all costs. (Unless you happen to have a Varia Suit, then you can proceed to blow the nest to smithereens)
