I m not much of a gamer, so Granado Espada is actually the first [PC] game I played. Playing with 3 characters at once got me a bit confused at first, until I got 'the hang of it'. I usually play with a team of 3, Fighter being my favorite so she gets to lead
Ohh, the graphics and the costumes! Wonderful settings and many cool costume designs around the internet This is the artist that made the reference picture [link] <3

For this costume I learnt lots of new things: how to make a boned corset [from youtube tutorials], somehow puffed sleeve, circle skirt, working with velvet,veil and first use of Wonderflex [quite rough on the skin].

I managed to finish it in 2 weeks, in time for Otaku festival- the EuroCosplay qualifications. But now I've noticed some things I d like to modify for a proper photoshoot; the corset -which is quite loose, and it doesn t flatter my figure, the skirt's length, neck armor size.

Oh well, overall I m quite satisfied with it~
Costume, Wig, Clock prop, Sword measurements are made by me.

I m really proud of my brother who worked so much at making the sword out of plywood with really crappy tools, in a small workshop [our basement]!
Alsooo I thank a lot for his skills at making the skit's sound mix, for her convention support and for the pictures! Hugs!

_{Yay~ I got off my lazy arse and collected my Allen cosplay! Well, I kind of had to once I realised that I had to pick it up within five days of it arriving and that the post office closed at 5 pm and wasn't open on weekends. So I whizzed down I got it.

Sorry about the mirror selfie. No-one is home at the moment so I had to go into my little sis' room becos she has a full-length mirror. And I'm not very good at taking photos, and this may still be a little dark even though I did turn up the brightness levels on Photoshop. Sorry~

Neku and I will be getting together later as well as ~Kikialus to take some proper photos. And speaking of Neku, this is what my cosplays would seriously look without her help. She probably does about 80% of the work: styling of the wig, makeup, you name it. I just put on the costume! I tried to make it look as good as possible, and not part the wig in the center like I apparently always do, but I don't know. And I couldn't really be stuffed to put on some makeup. Sorrryyyy~
I might try again this weekend.

Also, please tell me if I put this costume on the wrong way? I was a little confused by some stuff...like that belt and the little bag thing. I'm not sure if it's suppose to go on that chain. As well, my cosplay came with some gold beads? Whaaaattt. Oh, and I just remembered that I forgot to put on the gloves that came with it as well...oops. Ooh, but at least now I have some black pants that I can use for some other cosplays too! And the cosplay fits really well~ I'm really glad I went with the size I did.

Ahh, and I'm really quite happy with my binder! Allen doesn't have boobies! Woopiee~ The binder also feels a lot more comfortable than the first time I put it on. I suppose I just got used to it a bit.

Anyway, this description is waaay too long for just a little WIP, so byeee.

OH OH OH and you know what having ACTUAL POCKETS and a LITTLE BAG THAT IS ACTUALLY PART OF THE COSTUME means? I'll be able to carry all my stuff on me WHILST BEING IN CHARACTER and I won't need another bag that will a) distract from the cosplay and b) have to put down everytime someone wants a photo! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS SO I'M UNNECESSARILY HAPPY OK}

Ooooh Azula.......

She is by far one of my top Avatar characters, especially after The Search. She's just so lost and pitiful underneath all of her armor and intimidation, but she seems to be the last to know it.

I wore Azula (and didn't forget my armor this time) at Aurora (formerly Otafest Lite) this year and loved every second of it.

There's just something undeniably awesome about Azula, and I hope I can find an excuse to wear her again soon.
