The falconer tried this Eagle as a hunting bird,but the first time out all it caught was a Rabbit with Myxomatosis!,so it was "retired".

The Purple In The Grackle

A lot of birders or people who feed birds do not like the Purple Grackle as
they can be quite agressive at the feeders, chasing some of the smaller
birds away. Farmers have begun to complain about the Grackles as they
will eat the grain from the fields.

I have both Grackles and little birds and doves and everyone
seems to get enough to eat.

Me and my dad were cleaning out all the junk in our backyard deck when we discovered that a bird has made her nest in one of our folding chairs. We moved the nest to a box and I took this picture.

This poor bird blundered into my back porch and couldn't find its way out again; I got to it just before one of my cats did. You can tell by the gaping beak that it was pretty stressed out, but it flew off after a few minutes and should be okay.

.... but I did get you little bird!! This Chestnut-sided Warbler was in a small wave of migrating Warblers which also included a Canada and Wilson's Warbler. I must have caught him just after he ate a bug...

These are the Angry Birds dolls that my sister gave me for the 2012 Christmas time. They're the Original Red, Blue, Black and Space Pink. They're mainly used for throwing, to the detriment of my father. Here, they're in their nest.

to Phi-phi's eyes.

My dwarf lovebird looks gigantic compared to Phi's size. Pocky is not aggressive with Phiphi but I don't let them out at the same time. If Pocky is sleeping inside my tshirt Phi is out of the cage. I usually bring Pocky into my working room for 1 hour in the afternoon. I have too many pets to pet I think but I do my best to spend time with them equally....

On another note, other birds dislike the finch, especially Pippin, she can hiss like a snake when she sees Phi.

Name: snow leopard (Uncia uncia or Panthera uncia)
Location: Hight mountains of Central Asia (Hindukush, Himalaya...)
Size: 1.3 m long body, 1,3 m long tail weight: 54 kg
Diet: Siberian ibex, argali, wild goats and wild sheep, deer, boars, langur monkeys, marmots, similar small mammals and birds
Conservation status: Endangered (there are 4000 – 6600 snow leopards)
Interesting facts: snow leopards are considered to be big cats, althought they are quite small than other big cats | snow leopards are not able to roar | other name for snow leopard is ,,irbis“ | snow leopards use their long and very fluffy tail as a scarf to hide their neck and head in cold weather. Fluffy tail is also good for balance | they have small ears to eliminate loss of body heat | snow leopards have blue or yellow eyes.

INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:

Name: polar/arctic fox (alopex lagopus)
Location: north of Eurasia, North America, Greenland
Size: 67 cm long body, 30 cm high, 40 cm long tail weight: 5 - 9 kg
Diet: lemmings, Arctic Hare, eggs, and carrion, but polar foxes eat also birds, baby seals and fish. Foxes are able to hide their prey to find and eat it later.
Conservation status: Least Concern (only population in Scandinavia is endangered)
Interesting facts: polar foxes change their fur. They are white in winter, but then start to lose their fluffy white coat. In summer, they are dark grey and much less fluffy | because they live in cold weather, their snouts and ears are very short | polar foxes tend to form monogamous pairs in breeding season. Females give birth to 4-8 pups and both parents take care of the babies | some foxes are called ,,blue foxes“ due special colour or their coat | polar foxes are able to survive temperature – 80°C! | polar foxes often follow polar bears to eat rest of bear’s prey | polar foxes have thick fur even on their paws – that’s why they can walk on ice

Western Kingbirds are one of my favorite birds, I am glad that they are finally back here in Colorado. They signal spring is officially here and summer isn't far away. They also are not that flighty and can make great subjects to photograph so when I saw this guy perching in the sunlight yesterday morning I knew right away I had to get him. They are so colorful...I love the bright yellow that they exhibit, it stands out so much and is very eye catching.

My mom found this little guy in the corner of our front porch and thought that it may be hurt. Since she was about to leave the house, she told me to put the bird in a box and take it inside. When she left I put on some gloves, got a box, and tried to carefully get the little guy in the box. However, since it was extremely windy today, I figured that I may not be injured and that it is probably just trying to get out of the wind. So as I was standing up, the bird noticed that the front door was open and it ran inside the house. So I got it inside the box, thankfully it made no attempt to fly, and I took it to my back yard where the house was blocking out most of the wind. I let the bird out of the box and the bird found shelter under some fallen bicycles.

EDIT: Ok, so I wen to let my dogs outside a while after I let the bird go and it was in the same exact spot as where I had left it. I approach and it made no attempt to fly. I grew more and more fearful that it may actually be injured. I got the bird back inside the box and took the bird inside the house. I made sure that all was quiet and that the bird was kept in darkness (it helps calm the bird). After some research, I the wild bird rescue that my dad took a bird too a couple of years back and I called them. They told me where to go and my brother and I took the bird there. The person now caring for the bird said that the bird is a young Inca Dove. The bird in now in good hands and, once it is well enough, will be released back to the wild.

Humans were hunting hyacinth macaws to sell them, as many collectors were ready to pay crazy amounts of money just to gain one of these parrots. Gato brought us a dead bird.
We just put up a bird feeder by our house. Those birds were swarming to it. I saw Gato staring at those birds all day .

Sandpipers often show up on my local creek during the summer. This Spotted Sandpiper was tough to photograph because it would not stop moving, but I lucked out with a few in-focus shots.
