Barcelona - Florence

last May, I took a trip to Europe by myself with a backpack.
I save the money from being a cleaning maid at my university in UK. It was easy money and i didnt need to use any mind to do that job right.

The trip started at Scotland, i spent about 5 days there, went to not enough place, but enough time to love it way more than freaking England, Or, maybe, I just didnt have any luck to meet any cool locals in England being a Chinese who have Canadian accent, which could be mistakened as American; not to mentioned in England, many of them are arogant enough to hate Chinese, even though u speak perfect English.

Then Off to London, a night at the Fabric, then hostel.
Then Paris, met up with a friend who i hasnt talked to for like almost 10 years, she and her lil brother spent the whole day with me, we walked around enough to love the city but not enough to line up any museum to get in, one day and a half;
Then Belgium, Antwerp, and My wonderful wife Seesea picked me up with her million dollar bf Paul , we had a wonderful night dining out in the nowhere Belgium restaurant, and middle of nowhere Disco Club (man, the music sucks there );
Then Holland, the Dutch city Amsterdam, I didnt try weed coz i either puke my guts out or they have no psychedlic effects on me, what a shame;
Then Spain, Barcelona , Me and Seesea spent 2 days there walking around , seeing lots cool shit, meetin lots nice ppl,on the third day, i wanted to see Madrid, but seesea was too tired, so I went for a all night bus on the second day night from Barcelona to Madrid. Here is the top picture here, me, midnight, alone, fucking waiting at the Barcelona Nord Station, thinking how much sucks that best friend like Seesea have turned out to be a lady, no fun, no fun.
Loneliness is a learnt habit
Woke up the next morning in Madrid, a whole new world, lucky enough to not be able to get in lots shit coz the prince was getting married in 2 days. Bumped into another Canadian dude Greg, walked around with him till one last cerveza, i took the all night bus to Barcelona again.
meanwhile in barcelona, Seesea alone for sure have attrated too much attentions, this time, a rich and not have to work much nice guy spotted her and invited her and me to go sailing on the next day.
Back to Barcelona, we went sailing, took this "award winning" shot ---[link] , shame how that was the only satisfying shot from the whole trip.
After Spain, Seesea and I split again. She went back to Holland, i went to Italy.
Italy, Roma, 2 days, no sunshine till the minute i walked on to the plane;

Oh i forgot the part in Pompeii, went to the station in Roma to buy tickets early in the second day morning, bumped into a American Guy Jeremy, he said he was going to Pompeii, "wanna come along?" And i bought the ticket and went for the whole day. My camera was out of battery that day and no way in hell i was able to find the replacement in Pompeii, so he took lots pics for me and i still havent got it oh well. When we got back in Roma, it was late already. We went to dinner, fancy but not the best tasting yet, then off to supermarket and got cheap wine--mind you, one is a bubbly RED WINE . We drank it on the spanish steps till 2 am, and i was pretty drunk walking home. Stopped by the most popular Gelato place, had a scoop finally after fighting with 100 people on line -- i mean that WAS 2 in the morning. NExt day, early in the morning, train again.
Florence, my fav, it was planned as a stop and rest place, here i do my laudry , bought lots cheap glass jewllery. fuckign love it;
Then is Venice and Milan of course, only wish i have more $$$$ by then.
Germany, Frankfurt, wow, what a city with no special scenes but yet oh so many wicked cold building and museum, gallery, one day was enough there for me though-- i walk freaking fast , and mind u, with a map, i m freaking wicked finding place.
Berlin, met up with Seesea again.
gallery, museum of course, with a girl, a lady like girl, things slow down of course , still i was always good to be aroudn her, she is a charm, a freaking poision.
after that, we are split again.

I went back to UK, packed my shit and hauled my ass out of there. Then later to find out i didnt pass my freaking essay and not be able to pass the course.
Seesea split up with her bf, came back to china, in a town 1 hour drive from me being some kinda vice mananger .

somehow, we are closer physically now, but things seems to get colder with more distance between us. Maybe a job that come like 9-6 , mon- sat really kill u. It killed us.

That trip was supposed to ease up my mind again, to let me feel like there are still more out there to be passionate about.
However, i eneded up feeling nothing better, only to find out that by then, ( till now, ) nothing fucking surprise me no more-- not enough to make me interested with a strong passion.

oh well..

i told ya, Loneliness is a learnt habbit

Completely deranged by psychedlic mushrooms, these leaves proved to be the guardians of my little journey throughout the streets of Amsterdam. Under the right conditions, the paved roads turned bright purple and the leaf bright yellow, emitting light like the lighthouse for a ship.
