Biographical Background: Joansey is a bit unsure of his history--- You see, Joansey cannot actually remember his parents on his own- all he has are the stories that his godfather told him about their past shenanigans.
Long ago when you were still just a babe... Your parents and I were traveling deep in the jungles of Ooo when A gigantic bat attacked us-! Your father fought it off valiantly but refused to kill the beast. Instead he let it escape with it's life... this however proved to be a mistake; because every so often after that first encounter the beast would still attack our troupe. Your father- would never slay the beast, but instead would fight it to submission and try to persuade it otherwise. He was a kind man... too kind.

Eventually the beast successfully killed and devoured Joansey's father in a fight- leaving Mom and Jonsey pretty much defenseless. Joanseys Godfather stayed around as much as he could- but he wasn't able to always stay with them... One night the beast tracked down mom as she ran off with Joansey- She shielded him from most of the attacks but in the end the beast still got ahold of Joansey _{_{seems like this is what he was after}} and bit him in the face before his godfather could return to save...

After that Jonesey started to change slowly. It seems the bat was "cursed with something"... Jonesey struggled with the change at first but his Godfather helped him through it. He had been very accepting the whole time and had much insight about the subject... :I Together they spent years avoiding the beast that 'ate' his parents and changed him, always trying to stay one step ahead of it.

Jonesey therefor lived a nomadic life- often borderlining survivalism with his Godfather. They were able to do this for quite awhile--- Godfather slowly became burn out and nervous nilly trying to stay away from the beast.
Some nights Joansey remembers his Godfather would murmer
"Even though this seems all for nought.... I'll try to keep you safe as long as possible... even though you're already in the belly of the beast"

Eventually one night when they were traveling the beast caught them off guard. Striking Joansey in the back of the head. The last thing he remembers was hearing his Godfather shout his name.

Later he wakes up in a cave, completely unscathed. His Godfather missing. Joansey remembered that many times on their journey. His Godfather and him would hole up in a safe place if things looked bad enough. With a sour taste in his mouth- he pulls himself together and makes his way through every nook and cranny of Ooo as he searches high and low for that perfect hiding spot- one that his Godfather might be holed up in somewhere...

and now we make it to current Joansey: explorer of lands and inspector of nooks

tl;dr Joansey cant remember his parents. They were slowly singled out and eaten by a vampire stuck in batform deep in the jungles of Ooo. Strangely his Godfather was never around when his parents needed aid. He would only be there after the incidents happened :I //pokerface// Joansey then grew up with his Godfather as they both traveled the land- trying to avoid being eaten- while at the same time navigate through Joanseys awkward 'change of life'. The Godfather being strangely accepting to his godson's descent into a vampire. With time however, 'the beast' eventually caught up with them. Joanesy was struck in the back of the head and blacked for the fight- and awoke in a dark cave with a strange taste in his mouth. His Godfather missing. Not a trace of him anywhere to be found.

Fearing the worst while hoping for the best... Joansey still travels the land in hope to maybe find his Godfather.

Likes: ...sunlight- well he misses it even though it burns like the sweet dickens//holds out gloved hand//SOB//. exercise, green foliage, people who hoard stuff, or collectors, sharinging supplies.

Circus Darkrai App:: Ohngel

Update 5/11/2013 :: updated the app art. I wanted to make him look more like 25.

Name: Ohngel Vanders _{('Ohngel' sounds like 'Angel' but with an O instead of an A)}

Age: 25 (apparent) 16 (factual)
_{Note: despite being a water/GHOST type, Ohngel was hatched 16 years ago, and doesn't remember his past life, and therefore has the mentality of a 16-year-old. Also, he wants to seem/treated like he's older at Circus Darkrai, so will tell people he's 25, the age which Mr dark made him look like.

Another Note: Ohn is a VERY recent addition to the circus when you compare him to the people who've been in it for 100+ years. He can come off as being really experienced, but in truth he doesn't really know much about the Circus's secrets and such.}

Gender: Male

Pokémon: Frillish (normal)
_{Note: (appearance quirk!) Unlike other Frillish, whose crown-like tufts are on the tops of their heads, his is on the side}

Nature: Sassy

Job: Make-up artist for performers, also runs a small and discreet face-painting booth when he has nothing else to do. He doesn't like the general public, though...

Faction: Atelier

Wish: Ohn wished that he wouldn't have to spend the rest of his life with his family and their stupid river and fishing business. Oh, and that he wouldn't have to do any strenuous work, either. Mr Dark granted his wish quite easily-- he took away the three flowing tentacles that he walked on and swam with, instead giving him two long legs and a pair of feet, so he wouldn't ever be able to swim as well as he once had and therefore physically could not catch fish by Frillish means-- and because his legs rendered him one heck of a klutz, he couldn't do any hard physical exercise (at least not without injuring himself), either. Seeing this, he was very distressed (what would his family think if they saw him like this?) but Mr Dark had the solution! Ohngel would just join his circus, and make his performers all pretty and handsome and maybe if he did a good enough job one day Mr Dark would consider give his fins back~
_{note that if Ohn leaves the circus his legs will stay, the only way for him to get his tentacles back is if Mr Dark gives them back to him. For this reason he won't try to escape for fear of never being able to find Circus Darkrai again.}

Personality: Ohngel is cheeky, clever and always has has a good time playfully poking fun at others. He likes to slack off and push his duties/the blame on people who he thinks are annoying or stupid so he can go relax and draw/paint. Ohn is very passionate about what he does (make-up, painting faces, etc.) and if he sees a performer (or anyone, actually) with bad make-up, regardless of the time or setting, he'll most likely chide them for letting an obvious dunderhead do their face, swipe said make-up off with a quick burst of water, and then quickly redo it. He is VERY flattering towards big-shot performers (or people who he's taking a liking to) and makes an effort to stay on the show-stoppers' (and anyone important really) good sides, even if he thinks they're scary or intimidating (freakshow performers tend to freak him out). If he think's you're worthless or stupid, though, he'll be pretty clear about his dislike ("SHOO! I don't have any time for ridiculous weirdos!). It's not that hard to get him angry if he think you're annoying/not worth his time, and he's got a poison tongue. Lastly, because he was not born with the legs and feet he currently has, he isn't all that graceful (kind of klutzy, in fact) and will trip over himself (or more likely smash his face into the ground) if he runs too fast/jumps/tries to do physical activity, to his great annoyance.

History: Ohngel was born to a VERY large family of pokemon in a very rural area. He had many siblings, and uncles and aunts, who had kids as well, and so many cousins-- and they all lived in a huge old house by a large river, with several acres of land to their name. They were all at least part (predatory) water-type, though their species varied. They ran a fishery that was well-known to the immediate area and the small surrounding villages, so the demand for their product was always high-- which meant that Ohn had to do a lot work.

Since Ohn was a Frillish, with flowing poisonous tentacles, he was expected to be very successful at this craft. He parents (his fat Jellicent father, and his BEAUTIFUL, beautiful Frillish mother) were both naturals at it. Frillish could simply scoop up fish in the tentacles and lug them to shore. However... Ohn didn't really enjoy fishing at all. Ugh, it was STUPID, and it was tiring, he whined, he shouldn't have to do this! Why did his family ("Holy Arceus, how are you people RELATED TO ME!?) think that it was his DESTINY, or something, to bring in pound after pound of stupid flopping Magikarp? Ugh. He didn't want to do any strenuous work. Often he'd just trick one of his stupid cousins (challenge them to a fishing competition or something like that) into working extra hard so that he wouldn't have to. Fishing was stupid, he assured anyone who'd listen.

He'd much rather pretend to be ill and shut himself in his room. One day his mother gave him paints for his birthday-- and he instantly fell in love with creating art. He wasn't so good at first, but kept at it, and over the years he started to improve. And when he entered teenhood, he grew very interested in the odd paints and powders women prettied themselves up with-- why didn't boys wear them, too?

"They did once, I think, but not so much anymore," his father grunted. "Only in the Circus, I think." Well, maybe he'd just have to find a circus and ask the ringmaster about it or something. And actually, a few years later, that opportunity presented itself-- a mysterious Circus pulled into town, the boss of which seemed to beckon him to his private cabin...

And before he knew it a wish had been made and his tentacles were G-O-N-E.

-Tolerable people ("Thank Arceus! I've found someone who isn't a dunderhead!")
-Performers in the Etoile faction (he'll kiss up to these people, and Lunes too, but he tends to like Etoile better)
-putting make-up on others, and wearing make-up himself ("...It's not eyeliner. It's EYE PAINT. FOR MEN.")

-Painting and drawing (he likes doing portraits of performers in his spare time)

-People mistaking him for a girl ("Um, EXCUSE me? Girl Frillish are PINK, DO I LOOK PINK TO YOU!?)
-People thinking he's a clown ("Honestly! A clown! Let me guess, you're part slow-bro?)
-Performers who won't let him do their make-up
-Most of the other people in the Atelier faction ("Do we really need ALL these weird carnies...?")
-Really FREAKY Lune Factioners. Also, the ones with dangerous/scary-looking acts ("EEEK! Why--WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT! OH MY GOD!") This includes knife throwers, sword swallowers, etc
-People who realize that he's not actually an adult ("...No. Don't be ridiculous. I'm 25! What are you taking about!?")
-Walking with legs. He's used to tentacles, but Mr Dark took those away
-When people call him 'Angel'. His mom's nickname for him was 'my little angel', and he really misses her, too. Bring up those memories and he'll bite your head off.

Move set: Water Sport (he uses this to quickly wipe of his make-up, and he can take off other's with it, too-- it's easily his favorite move), Nightshade, Recover, Ominous Wind

HAWX F-35 Piplup

Sometimes doing military schemes can get a wee bit boring. So let's shake things up a bit! Anyway, someone once told me that the F-35 looks like a penguin. For once I agree! So, a great way to show it is painting the damn thing as one! Yeah, go Piplup!

How to install:
Find your HAWX game directory, go to the folder "Data" and inside you'll find "textures". In there, find "geoms" and place the .dds files there.

Note that if one or more of those folders don't exist, create them yourself. The game engine will automatically recognize them.

HAWX A-6 Osea

The A-6 Intruder was a mainstay attack aircraft of the Osean Navy for many years. It boasted ample range, great payload capacity and advanced avionics for its time.

Seen here is an example from the OSN's VA-27 "Daredevils", during Osea's intervention in the Averon-Vetenesia conflict of 1973. The squadron's first major wartime action took place in the hectic defense of Subem. The OFS Eagle CVBG and allied ships with RAS Vialpando faced a massive bombing raid on the port facility. The Daredevils also supported ground forces during Operation Stonewall, where Averonian and Osean forces successfully retook Tamilla from Vetenesian occupation.

Online 3d Viewers!

While recently looking for digital anatomy references, I stumbled across a couple of awesome webapps that I think will be a great tool for those wishing to better showcase their digital sculpts and 3d models:

p3d.in and Verold

These are sites that allow you to upload objs of your work, along with texture maps and display them on their site or through embed-able widgets for people to view in full 3d from any modern browser! Think Youtube, but instead of video, it's full 3d that you can turn, tumble and zoom into like you would with a real 3d viewport.

I think it's an excellent way for viewers and clients to get a better sense of your model work. Rather than show them a bunch of static renders, they can inspect the model from all angles.

Service features

Verold - Limited to 3 projects/models per account at the moment. Shader support and render engine is much more advanced than p3d.in but I've noticed that it runs much choppier as a tradeoff. You will need a good video card and up to date drivers to see it properly

P3d.in - Limited to 50mb total uploads, but they also offer a plus account that boosts that amount to 2.5gb. Performance is much smoother than Verold at the moment but texture shading and lighting is limited.

I'm currently leaning more toward p3d.in since you can upload a lot more, but Verold can serve as a place to put models which need better shader support. I plan to upload more of these moving forward, so stay tuned! In the meantime, I highly recommend trying out a couple uploads yourself!

Possible applications

Along with better accessibility to one's own models, I think these kinds of systems can work wonderfully as anatomy reference. A lot of people use 2d reference, but they say that a real life model (or in lieu of that, a 3d model) would work better, since you have the ability to navigate around the subject and get a better sense of proportion, volume and placement of things like muscles and bones. The main hinderance is that -assuming that you have chosen to look at a 3d model- you would have to download a 3d package and model, install it, and then learn how to use it to make use of it as a reference. There is a fairly large amount of setup time and learning curve to tackle.

However, such is not the case for p3d.in or Verold. Since the webapps are so easily accessible and really easy to use navigation-wise, why not put up 3d anatomy reference there? People would simply have to pop the url in their browser of choice, and within seconds, they would have a fully detailed 3d model to use!

_{Baww 'nuther RP group. I swear this is the last one for a long while (not counting #DistortTown).
Anyway I've been wanting a spiritomb for a long while and hey Charbonneau is an awesome name >3< Though I'm probs gonna struggle with the fact that he can speak FRENCH. I only a bit of the language but am hoping to improve. Feel free to correct me if you are fluent!}

Secret Identity: Jérôme "Romey" (or just "Rome") Charbonneau (don't bother with the accents if you don't want to; he doesn't care about the pronunciation)

Summary Characteristic: Thoroughly Cunning

Powers/Abilities:
Robotics Expert: Romey grew up with a pair of scientists coaching him on Robotics and Circuitry. That and doubled with his knack for math and science makes him a genius at inventing and fixing things, to the point where it seems kind of fantastical. He especially loves making robotic versions of feral pokemon. He'll usually use this talent to make devices that can help him in a fight (since he sucks at physical activity) and is usually seen with a helicopter backpack or jetpack or something. Rome values this aspect of his character the most, and loves his creations as well.

Computer Hacker: Rome loves video games, and of course, computers! He's pretty good at programming, and (as of now) an amateur hacker. He likes to break into other people's files mostly for the purpose of simple fun, but will give up if they're security is too good.

Limited Invisibility: In an area of darkness, Rome can bend the shadows to shroud himself, turning him pretty much invisible (though a highly trained eye could probably catch him), BUT it takes some time and concentration, and if he moves too much, the illusion is lost. This doesn't really work during the day (outdoors) or in a bright place, the shadows have to actually be DARK. Note that Romey is very accustomed to seeing/doing things in near pitch-blackness and can see in the dark better than most people, so he can read or invent in the shadows without much problem.

Ability: Infiltrator (hidden ability); passes through the foes barrier and strikes. This is very helpful towards the move Shadow Sneak as it lets foes be snatched up by it easier, also for some reason this gives Rome a knack for picking locks.
Moveset:
Shadow Sneak: (start) Jérôme extends his shadow (usually while distracting his foe, keeping their eyes on him) behind his opponent, which then grabs and attacks them from behind, engulfing them. Jérôme can use this for a quick getaway-- but the shadows are only semi-solid and really not that hard to break out of.
Dark Pulse: (level) Jérôme's body releases a torrent of darkness imbued with dark thoughts. It may also make the target flinch or cringe. Note: This is very difficult for Jérôme to use and he usually can't control it. Last resort.

History: Jérôme grew up in Quebec⁽¹⁾ with his father and uncle (both Dusknoirs who worked as scientists). His mother and father had not been married when he was conceived and they did not stay together after his birth, but Jérôme could care less. He'd much rather focus on his studies, and his tricks. He hoped to one day be an engineer or something similar, since he had a knack for science and math. His relatives were very proud and were happy to help him learn robotics and such throughout his life.

In school, even when very young, he wasn't very popular. That was also fine by him. He was pretty introverted, and wouldn't usually seek company unless it was from a robotic creation of his, a particularly pretty girl or if he was looking for a prank victim (and on occasion somebody to help test a particularly dangerous robot/invention). Romey never did anything too big that'd get him into lots of trouble--he would rather do small things that called for more cunning. Like memorizing a zillion lock combinations, then switching them all around. Or leaving love letters for people that were penned well⁽²⁾, but fake, and made to cause confusion. Or maybe even hacking into somebody's files and leaving a virus, if they had particularly pissed Rome off. To Jérôme, little things that messed with your brain or caused you annoyance were the best tricks you could pull. Of course he still got detentions and such, but never anything huge.

Rome thought that middle school would be largely uneventful since he was planning to cut back on the tricks a bit to get the best marks possible so he could get into a good high school. Instead, that’s when his powers starting acting up for the first time—he’d stay perfectly still in darkness, and watch in the mirror as he seemed to vanish. His blue prints for inventions were becoming more and more far-fetched, yet they still seemed to work. He took apart all his robotic pets after a bout of unease at how good he was getting at making them. It was like a dream; Rome tried to not think about it all, but his thirst for knowledge led to hours of research and the conclusion that he was... well, rather peculiar—and that he certainly didn’t want to tell anybody just yet.

High school rolled around eventually. His marks were still great and his father and uncle had the funds to send him to a private school, so to a private boarding school he went. And it was awesome-- it was challenging (for once) and gave Rome a good distraction for all the insanity going on.

But it did not last. He stayed there for less than one happy year, until one holiday when he was at home (and when his father was out) his uncle got a hold of some blueprints he’d sketched up for a helibackpack, and questioned Romey until he spilled the beans on all he had found about himself. He demanded to know how long it had been going on, and upon receiving the answer, made the immediate decision that Jérôme would be joining something called the Young Justice League. Of course, Romey was largely unpersuaded even after his Uncle has explained what it was, he wasn't really the 'hero' type after all, but his uncle put his foot down in the end. He'd learn to control that shadow, better his English ("Je parle l'anglais tres bien déjà!!"⁽³⁾) and make his family proud (though when he thought about it, his uncle seemed to be bursting with pride already).

Personality: Romey is very intelligent, but doesn't wave it around, instead coming off as rather odd and a bit mischievous. He likes to play mind games and be at least somewhat enigmatic, and is very secretive when it comes to his personal life or his schemes. He is not somebody to be trusted with pretty much anything (unless you're really close friends) because he likes to do his own thing rather than follow the plan or the rules, and doesn't mind lying at all, which he does constantly. He usually won't seek the company or help of others (in fact, he usually finds their company when unneeded VERY annoying) unless they are robots or automatons. If annoyed or pissed off, he'll get angry and be demanded to be left alone, but will be sure to get even; however, he can be easily intimidated by those bigger than him. He very much enjoys tinkering and inventing, and he is happiest when working on his creations; he gets very excited and often giddy when an experiment goes well. Lastly he can be very curios and eavesdrops carelessly sometimes, and has a thirst for knowledge-- he hates not knowing things.

Extra:
_{-He doesn't have a French accent at all, but will occasionally forget how to say a word in English and just say it in French
-Despite being rather tall, he is not very physically strong and struggles with hand-to-hand combat/fighting, which is his major weakness. Seriously, he can't fight on strength alone.
-The civilian outfit shown is his casual clothes. When in school he wears a uniform (white shirt, black pants, red tie, dark red jacket)
-Jérôme is not very excited about being a part of the YJL, but will still give it a shot
-He often speaks in French when particularly pissed off, or when excited and muttering his plan evilly under his breath
-Romey doesn't really consider himself to be much a 'hero' (he thinks that's sorta lame). He'll tell people that he's more a neutral party if anything, and he kind of is, and he well most likely be mistaken for a villain time and time again, on account of looking so... villainous. He also tends to admire villains more than hereos
-Sometimes he likes to casually flirt with girls, but it depends on his mood
-When not working with the YJL, he goes back to his private school in Quebec

Manga Studio v5 Brushes for Speedpainting

Manga Studio version 5 Custom Brushes for Digital painting and Speedpainting – to Download Free. These are all my own work.

They are in the zip file that can be downloaded from this page. People are welcome to download them and use them ( even commercially) but please do not re-distribute them as your own …instead please point others to this page.

I think this is my best set of brushes yet… and I genuinely don’t know of a better or more comprehensive set of general painting brushes ... please do try them and tell me what you think. There are ten brushes and 4 blenders. However, the brushes come with a set of carefully selected controls in the tool property menu that make each brush capable of many different effects.
They work best with an intuous tablet or Cintiq as they make use of pressure sensitive and tilt controls. Note that where I describe changing the “Direction” you will need to go to the Direction control in the Tool Property palette and click on the little icon at the end of the line… this opens up the options that I describe… i.e None/Line Orientation /Random.

Main Painting workhorse brushes …

A) PAINTING - Like a round pointed sable brush. Size sensitive to pressure… lays down basic color areas and lines. Options… Click “mix ground color” and it works like painting wet paint onto wet paint…blending as you paint. Click “Spray” and its like a crayon or pastel. Tilt pen to a low angle and the tip behaves like a calligraphy pen.
B) SQUAREPAINT – A wedge brush in which pressure changes the opacity and pen tilt controls the brush size (2) With the shift key it draws straight lines and if you hold the pen a different tilt angles at both end then the line will be straight per tapered. (3) this too has the “Mix Ground Color” option that you can choose. (4) Click “border of Watercolor” to get a line border. (5) Set Direction to Random for a rougher look. (6) Click Spray” for a rugh texture. (7) Spray and Border of Watercolor for this effect. (8) shows the line width variation by tilting the pen.
C) BLOCKPAINT …. Similar to Aquarepaint but opacity is now controlled by the velocity of the pen stroke. Also the brushwidth is supersensitive to pen tilt. (2) Click Ribbbon (3) click Ribbon and Border of Watercolor (4) Click just Border of watercolour (5) Spray (6) Spray and Border of watercolour

Then the special effects brushes

C) 2C OneHAIR - Uses both the primary and the secondary selected colors. (1) it is mainly designed for painting strands of hair…Direction is set to “Line orientation”. (2) if you set Direction to “none” (3) if you set Direction to “Random” You also get really interesting extra effects by clicking Ribbon or Spray…. In fact the spray effect is a fantastic surprise.
D) SPIKE- (1) Direction is by default set to “line orientation” to give a beautiful streaky Dry Brush effect. (2) Change direction to “none for this alternative effect (3) Change direction to “Random” to get this spiky dabble brush effect ( 4) the brush can be used with “mix ground color” option for a wet on wet paint effect (5) click “Ribbon” and draw a tight circle to crete these flowers (6) otherwise “ribbon” gives this streaky flame like effect (7) click Spray for this effect
E) DO-WOP …(1) Does great Kirby Kracle effect ( I know of no better version of this effect including any of my own earlier attempts) (2) Set Brush density to “random” or to Pen Pressure for a wide range of subtle effects (3) change direction to “none” to get this panther fur / lizard skin effect
F) DoWOP BLUR - (1) great for smoke, lava, rocks, water , explosions. (2) paint with white to create clouds (3) click Ribbon and “Border of watercolour” for this other Wierd effect
G) Leaves -- uses both selected colors for this realistic vegetation effect
H) GRIND (1) default setting gives a GIGER like Alien texture. (2) Change direction to “None” and it makes good high rise buildings (3) Spray turns it to a rough texture
I) CHUNK - for Impressionist painting. (1) is the basic streaky stroke (Van Gogh ?) (2) set Spray or (3) set Space to Fixed to get the Monet effect (4) Change direction to “none for this effect (6) Can be used with “Mix ground Color

Blenders

GRUNGE a subtle blender for carefully controlled work … if I’m trying for Photorealism I use this one.
WHISPY Mixes and blurs with a feathery texture
BLOCKBLENDER powerful lumpy blender
SPONGY Blur blender with a texture that is somewhere between a dry brush and a sponge effect. Depending how you move the pen.

To install the brushes ( or selected brushes if you don't want all of them ) Click the dowload button on this page to download the zip file... then extract the brushes from the zip file to any folder you like. In Manga Studio v5 you can right click on any brush in the subtool folder and there appears an option to "import Sub Tool" ... click on that and navigate to the extracted brush that you want to install... ...Done

New set of Manga Studio brushes -free Download. Manga Studio has a very powerful Custom Pattern Brush feature but, unlike photoshop, there are very few brushes available to download. Here is the 4th set I have made available ... you can find all my previous sets at .. [link]

Note the download file is the ZIP of the brushes. To enlarge the image of the examples just click on it.

! Dashes - is great for drawing or painting water
2 Rain - easy way to add rain ... I prefer it to the Rain filter as it gives you more control
3 Stamp - Wierd patterned slug.... looks great though I'm still unsure where to use it
4 CityBlock - amazing instant painting of city landscape. Up and down stokes make city blocks while across strokes make monorails or bridges
5 Pagoda - Unusual hash pattern
6 Circles - Lots of uses
7 Pyramid - makes monsters made of wire coat hangers
8 Squelch - You have to try this one ... . lots of uses
9 Swerve - tangled hairs
10 Dragon - Dragon Tails
11 Nodules - stones, rocks or just bad skin

How to install:

1. Open Manga Studio. Under File -> Preferences, look for the Folder Data settings tab. (on a Mac, go to Manga Studio EX -> Preferences and look under Folder Path). Make a note of this location, and open it up in your file explorer.

2. Shut down Manga Studio.

3. Copy the "888totoBrushes" folder included in zip file to your
(Folder Path)\Tool\CustombrushTool folder.

4. Start up Manga Studio again.

5. Your new pattern brushes should now be visible within your Pattern Brush Tool dropdown list

I am happy for anyone to use these brushes without restriction But if you download them or find this useful I would greatly appreciate a comment or a Fav

♠NAME: Rotor Bell
♠AGE: 16
♠GENDER: Genderless (male pronouns 'he' and 'him' are used)
♠SPECIES: Rotom (normal)
♠HOMETOWN: Anville Town
♠NATURE: Rash
♠SUMMARY CHARACTERISTIC: Strong willed
♠PERSONALITY: Rotor usually doesn't give any thought to the decisions that he makes, preferring to just be spontaneous, fun, and cheerful. However he's a bit of a brat; he'll often pout if he doesn't get his way, or be made angry. His determination means that he'll always try to get what he desires, or at least get his revenge-- he never gives up, either! Never-ever! He is also relatively inconsiderate when it comes to other people, being rather selfish, and pretty loud-mouthed (speaks without thinking). If he thinks you're ugly, pretty, or boring, he'll say so. That aside, he is very protective and loyal to his friends.

♠HISTORY: Rotor was bred to be a present for a little girl when she came of age. Her name was Hanna Bell, and when he hatched she was delighted. Being fairly uncreative (and rash in her decisions, like the little Rotom would later come to be) she named him Rotor, simply trading the 'm' in Rotom for an 'r'.

Hanna talked of being a great explorer, or beating the pokemon league, or something equally as impressive, constantly. Rotor found that he enjoyed her presence immensely, and she, his. The two were practically inseparable-- Hanna didn't ever want to put him in his pokeball and Rotor would always burst out of it 2 seconds later anyway. Since they lived in Anville Town, they could easily board the train to all kinds of different places. Together the delved into forests, dusty old attics, a couple of caves, and (in Rotor's case) TV sets. Rotor loved the thrill of exploring and fancied himself a treasure hunter, especially since they always seemed to find cool items.

The only time they weren't together was when Hanna was at school; oh, how Rotor hated that place! Her school wasn't in Anville Town either, she had to take a train ride to it. When she stayed late or took too long getting home he'd get cranky and wreck havoc on the television or phone lines, much to the irritation and eventually anger of Hanna's parents. They warned them time and time again that if Rotor didn't behave, he'd have to find a different home. They never carried out their threats, however, so they didn't have much effect.

The years went by and Rotor's moves grew a bit more powerful, and he found that he'd much rather sleep in the television than in Hanna's room. Hanna caught some other pokemon as well, but Rotor never really bonded with them that well: he was Hanna's obvious favorite.

More years went by, and Hanna grew up. She went to university in a faraway city, and took an even longer train ride. Every day she'd come home at a later and later time, leaving earlier and earlier (Rotor only noticed later that she was taking her possessions with her), until... she didn't come back at all. Her parents explained to her pokemon that she was now living on campus, and didn't want her pokemon there since they'd distract her. Rotor was horrified! He couldn't believe it! Leaving the others behind he could understand, but he was her favorite!

Eventually Rotor decided to take action. He'd go to that univer-thingy and stay there until Hanna came to her senses. That's what friends were for! So one winter night, he sneaked out of the house, and started his journey. He had no idea where he was going, and soon, a snowstorm kicked up. He couldn't see two feet in front of him, but he pushed forward--

Then suddenly the world around was gone in a swirl of purple and black.

♠JOB: Treasure Hunter. He rarely finds anything of value (most of the items he gets are off feral pokemon) but he sells what he can in his market stall.
♠HOBBY: Exploring, wrecking havoc on any television he can find, walking around aimlessly, doing stupid and reckless dares
♠ABILITY: Levitate _{He is not affected by ground type moves; and can hover a couple feet of the ground}

♠MOVESET:
♠Thunder♠ _{Rotor rains a massive torrent of electricity at his foe}
♠Thief♠ _{Rotor deftly swipes his opponent's item. He uses this on wild pokemon to collect things to sell}
♠Telekinesis♠ _{Rotor Makes his target levitate by use of psychic power, making them easier to hit. He often uses this to pick things up, as touching things with his lightening-bolt hands can damage them.}
♠Hex♠ _{Rotor places an unlucky Hex on his target; this does more damage when they're inflicted with a status ailment.}

♠LIKES: Adventure, treasure, food, dares, fun pokemon, games, getting his way, playing with electronics
♠DISLIKES: Boring pokemon, being idle/having nothing to do, sleeping in a bed (prefers a television), formal dress
♠EXTRAS/TRIVIA:
Rotor's lightening-hands can become solid enough for him to pick things up, but more often than not he damages whatever he's holding
his very prescene can make electronics go haywire
Like any normal Rotom, he can posses electrical devices and wreck havoc on them, but it takes a lot of energy and he usually needs a nap afterwards
Rotor will mostly likely live in a television
Annnnd he'll mostly likely lie about how much they stuff he's got for sale is worth when he's trying to sell something

The original Gimp splash screen image for Gimp 2.6.11 is a 275X400 PNg image.
I suggest that you don't use an image that is smaller then this, or any text that might show up when you open Gimp will be cut off.

In order for your splash screen image to function as the "new" splash screen image, you must place it in the "Images" folder and name it "gimp-splash" (without quotations) and it also must be a PNG image.
But first you have to rename the original splash screen image. I just renamed it "gimpX-splash" (without quotations). You can give it whatever name you feel is appropriate.

Once you've done this, your new splash screen image will now be the image that you will see when you open Gimp.

I just LOVE the DAZ Cyclorama, it's a great way to create beautiful scenery without much effort - and I 'm all about saving time and effort. Thus I have created these 4 new scenes for the Cyclorama, to be applied with the surfaces tab in DAZ studio. Each scene comes with a texture, specular map and bump map. Apply them accordingly.

head mistress: Likes her because she gave him this job and they have come to be good friends.

MPE: he doesnt really know the MPE Teacher but he will like to get to know all his fellow teachers.

Mystics teacher: well as there is no mystics teacher at the moment Echo is a stranger to them and vise versa.

Potions: he likes the potions teacher because he is human. echo has always been fond of humans and likes to watch them. he also likes the fact that he was able to bind a demon to him....

Human studies: he likes the human studies teacher as well because of the fact she knows humans so well. almost as well as echo him self... but to be fair echo has lived alot longer. but humans still tend to baffle him.

History: He has a small crush on the dwarf. only for the fact that he thinks some dwarfs are sexy. and this just happens to be one of them.

Finnian: He has a great respect for the Fae let alone a royal Fae Like Finnian. he intrigues him. and he would like to get to know him.

Ferenc: he really dislikes the stag. but he will be nice to him. NO one should share a room with seth except for seths brother or him...

Ulec: He hates drunks he will tolerate the goat but not for long. he will try his best to make him stop drinking in class as he hates how people act when drunk..at least most humans act....

When someone says "Overprotective Parents", what pops into your mind? some think of overprotective parents as Safety-Psychos who make their kids wear Life-preservers in the pool, and padded clothing outside. but i personally think of overprotective parents as people who deprive their kids of the ability to watch something that is popular among other kids, these Amazon reviews make great examples of that. These parents won't let their kids watch the classic cartoons we all know and love, just because of a retarded sticker on the back (which sane parents ignore), or a time-less unrealistic depiction of violence (Which is why the cartoons are popular in the first place). And look at Happy Days review, a parent that won't let their kid watch a 70s sitcom because of some fairly-subtle adult humor, and for God's Sake; the girl is 11, She's heard far worse stuff on the school playground.

Edit: allow me to correct myself, the reviewer of the "Tom and Jerry" DVD was a grandparent, not a parent. But still, what kind of Politically-Correct grandparent gives a crap about that f*ckin Sticker?!?!? we live in a sad, sad, world.

I may still be somewhat unique among artists for using a gaming keyboard to help speed up working. However, the G-13 is, to me, unusually well suited for the purpose, allowing me to use my left hand on the keyboard and my right on my Wacom tablet.

One of the great things this alows you to do, is make similar functions across different types of software always use the same single key... rather than having to told control-alt.. and sometimes even shift down to do a function, its all one key!

The zipped file contains profiles for both Adobe Flash and for Photoshop, along with screen captures of the keyboard layouts, and the keyboard profiles for the keyboard (of course).
Be sure you save your old keyboard profiles before using mine, since there are changes, though most of them are minor, to Photoshop and Flash. (Photoshop much more than flash) For example, I disable the keyboard shortcut for the pen and history brush tools in Photoshop so that I dont have to rotate between each of them to get back to just the plain-ol brush tool.

Well, here it is — Inner Depths 3. Journey through the tunnels and forgotten places of Solstheim, as you search for cool items and battle fierce opposition. Then get rich off the loot!
This is a tough challenge, aimed at seasoned Morrowind players, not for those of you starting out. If you install this with your new game, you may want to steer clear of going inside until you’re up to about level 30-ish.
There’s some great content in here you may not have seen, that was actually included with Morrowind, plus some stuff I made as well. This time there’s even a shop of sorts. Well, those smugglers and thieves have to have somewhere to trade, don’t they? But Jessie, the shop keeper doesn’t care whose side you’re on. You might want to butter her up a bit though.
So, what’s new? Well, I won’t give everything away, but you can expect 2 extra shields, 2 more spears, 2 types of arrows, 3 enchanted darts, 5 cool amulets (which are fresh new meshes), a shortsword, a bunch of unique potions, some Marker Beams, a scroll aimed at those of you with companions, several new miscellaneous items and more! Remember to bring your Ancient Nordic Pickaxe as well!
What are these Marker Beams? Well, they’re an idea I had a long while back. I’d often leave my companions outside somewhere, and then buzz off to dump my loot and get supplies, then forget exactly where they were. (Since I’m not disturbing my Mark location.) So I thought some kind of tall, brightly coloured beam of sorts, would show me where they were. Of course you might find more uses for it than that. Anyway, they’re a large miscellaneous item, with a wide base that you can plonk down where you’re standing, and then when you return there, you can spot them from a distance. They’re probably about the height of a small tree. If you don’t like them, don’t buy them!
There are 15 zones in total, (including a neato 3 storey Daedric joint,) and if you find the pool, then that’s pretty much the final destination. It was kind of a bonus anyway. Better Bodies is good for this.
There are 2 entrances, and different routes to take. Unlike me, you’ll have the mystery of not knowing where you’re headed.
What do you need to play? The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, of course, plus the Tribunal & Bloodmoon expansions. I’ve tried to keep the detail level to around the same as what the official stuff had, so those of you with slower computers shouldn’t suffer as much as if I’d gone berserk.

I proudly present my stereocardmaker bash script!

Some explanations:
I recently got a Nikon S9300 which, as many other cameras, records pictures in 3D mode. Unfortunately, we don't have a 3D TV but still want to see our photos. I did some research on the internet and stumbled upon the old Victorian stereo cards. I downloaded a printable stereo viewer and found myself some stero cards to view directly on the screen. Now a computer screen is not so good for viewing while sitting comfortably on a sofa, so I decided to order a stereoscopic viewer and get some of my pictures printed.
The problem is, that they are in the MPO format, which can't be easily printed. So I made an imagemagick script which extracts the pictures and puts them on a *.jpg file side by side in just the right format to be printed at your favourite photo lab sized 5"x7". Great, huh?

Requirements

imagemagick

exiftool

Linux, Mac or Windows/cygwin

Usage

I moved the script files to a bitbucket repository. Download it from there and put your *.MPO files or image pairs into the main directory.
If you have all the above software installed, you can simply execute the script and watch the magic happen
Also the script reads *.jpg files, as long as you have a left and right hand picture (shot manually without a 3D enabled camera) and they are named mypicturenameL.jpg and mypicturenameR.jpg.

Please let me know if it works for you and if not what's your exact problem. I assume you have some basic knowledge of how to execute a script at all, if not, there is plenty of information out there to get you started.

If you want to modify the script, maybe add other features, feel free to fork it
