My Painter Brushes

These are my Corel Painter X brushes and should work with Corel Painter X and above. I have no clue if they'll work with a lower program version.

I hate how I had to upload these to the 'Corel Painter IX' category as DA hasn't gotten around to updating it's corel categories. Photoshop gets it's own category for brushes, but all Painter resources are lumped together into the IX category. Honestly, Painter is widely used by MANY artists, you think DA would wake up?

Anyway, these are the brushes I use most often, consisting of brushes taken from other custom sets, basic Painter brushes I use all the time, and ones I made myself.

Feel free to use and abuse, and play around with the settings.

Wow, I didnt expect that many people to ever see these. To clarify, I didnt 'make' all these brushes, and since I havent actually been on DA much for the last few months coming back to so many comments is rather overwhelming. This is a brush 'Collection' I just stuck up on DA to share the brushes I use. This is mostly a result of me messing around with the Painter brush creator and experimenting. I posted this set up ages ago and didnt really expect anything to come of it. For the record, making brushes in Painter is both harder and more complicated than it is in Photoshop, but it's not impossible. Also, Photoshop brush files and Painter brush files are not interchangable, you cant load a Photoshop abr file up in Corel Painter. Therefore, it's impossible to 'steal' brushes from other people who've posted Photoshop brushes. All of these are made using 'captured dabs' in Painter and via trial and error I have these, the captured ones that is, not the basic ones that already exist, just in different libraries. Ugh, I have half a mind to take these down completely... I'll try and edit them. I never expected these to cause me a headache when I uploaded them.

I changed the upload to a .zip, and took out an offending brush. All of you who downloaded the original file are instructed to delete it and download this new version.

If there are any more problems I swear I'm going to shoot myself.

painter skin tones

the one thing i consitantly CAN'T WRAP MY BRAIN AROUND is picking colors. especially flesh tones. in know painter IX comes w/ a flesh tones palette, but i don't like it that much, and so here's one i made from this photoshop swatch file. just save it to your corel painter directory where it says "color sets" and enjoy!

also, holy batman, am i really the first ever submission to the corel painter IX resources gallery? something's wrong here people! get going!

Copic Color Sets for Painter X

Colors are grouped into sixteen sets, plus there’s a bonus complete set for your convenience. I used the colors included in the chart featured on page 66 of the book, How to Draw Manga: Colored Original Drawing. That book makes a great reference!

These colors can be used with any of Painter’s brushes – Oils, Watercolors, Pastels, Pencils – experiment!

There are lots of colors to work with, but feel free to use Painter’s Mixer Palette to come up with some interesting colors of your own. It’s like filling an empty Copic marker with two or more different inks… but without the mess.

Please note that the “Colorless Blender” is actually white. To blend colors, use the Blender or Water brushes. The results are amazing (trust me).

I made the sets in Painter X, but they may work in earlier versions.

After downloading, just unzip the file to C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter (X or earlier)\Support Files\Color Sets. All sets are in a single folder -- simple as that!

NOTE: Mac Users can simply change the file extension name to ".colors".

Finally, please don’t redistribute these sets -- just link back or add to Favorites. It was very time consuming to work on these, and I have other projects in progress right now. If there are any problems let me know. Thanks, and have fun!

Rahll's Brush Set - For Corel Painter

These are, exactly as the title says, Rahll's Brush Set + Pore Brushes, but for Painter!
Tired of switching back and forth to Photoshop while drawing I decided to just try and replicate these brushes for use in Painter. The only brush I didn't copy is the Palette Knife brush, because Painter already has an entire category of it's own for those.

They work in Painter X where I created them, and should work in any more recent version as well. I can personally confirm that they work in Painter 12 at least, which is the version I'm using right now.

Since the brush settings for Photoshop and Painter are vastly different these are not perfect clones, but they get the job done pretty well. Don't be afraid of messing around with the various settings to see what works best for you!

Original brushes collected, modified and created by `Rahll. Modified for use in Corel Painter by me. Uploaded with `Rahll's permission. Feel free to use and abuse!

To install (in painter 12):
Go to C:\Users\##YOUR_USERNAME##\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Painter 12\Default\Brushes\Painter 12 Brushes
and dump the contents of the zip in there.

Prismacolor for Painter

I thought before I get asked to do it, I should also get the Prismacolor-style colour swatch for Corel Painter IX and X users up and posted. (This should help those who are trying to emulate felts or artpens.)

To install:

1. Unzip the .colors file.
2. Place the colors file in the Color Sets subfolder. In Windows, you can find the Color Sets subfolder where the Painter X or IX is stored. (I am not sure where you'd find it for Mac users but I suspect it is similar.)

Watercolor Study

DA only has a catagory for Painter 9 ?!?! Oh well, this is for Painter 12. Pufffth.

The watercolor tools in Painter 12 are so much better than the ones in version 11. But I still needed to understand how each tool worked so I made this little doodle to try them out.

Don't miss the 'Pause Diffusion' button in the property bar. Turn this on to stop the paint from drying. It's not as good as a heatlamp and mister where you can dry things part way or re-wet them but at least it lets you work it wet before it dries.

I set all my brushes to 'Animation Step = 0' as I have a fairly fast multicore system -- and I like to watch the paint dry. :3

* copy/paste for watercolor layers

Gotchas:

You can't paste into a watercolor layer. You can't use the layer adjuster tool to move a piece of a water color layer around (it drops into moving a piece of the canvas layer).

Workarounds:

You can copy from a watercolor layer; but pasting creates a new watercolor layer.

If you kept your canvas clean you can drop multiple watercolor layers to it and then lift them to a new watercolor layer, effectively merging the watercolor layers together. If you haven't kept your canvas clean you can lift it to another watercolor layer to move it out of the way and then drop your other layers to merge them. Klunky, but it works.

Also, if you use "Convert To Default Layer" (hiding in the Layers Pallet Menu) the lasso and layer adjuster tools will move clippings around and keep the transparency intact.

I wonder why you can't just merge watercolor layers? It works with liquid ink layers...

All these commands are found in the Layers menu, or the Layers Pallet menu (in the layers pallet instead of the menu bar).

Abstract Brushes

My little contribution to the Painter resources, 10 custom abstract brushes.

I'd love to see how these get used, so drop me a line if you like. I know how difficult it is to keep track of what brush was used on which painting, so crediting is not a requirement for using the brushes. However, useful feedback and linking will most likely result in the posting of additional brushes.

All I ask is that you don't claim them as your own creations and that you have fun making great art with them.

Descriptions of brushes:

1. abstract 01 digital wet: A fringed, wet brush.

2. abstract 01 soft cover: A "pebbley" textured brush.

3. abstract 02 drip: A drip brush. This brush will work on the main canvas. It will only work on paint that already exists on a layer, not the blank layer itself.

4. abstract 03 soft impasto: A "rippley" textured brush with a subtle impasto buildup.

5. abstract 04 buildup: This brush produces a textured buildup of color.

6. abstract 05 soft cover: A nice brush to use if you want to add some randomness to your painting.
Good for creating atmospheric effects when used at about 50% opacity.

7. abstract 06 two color: A brush that is suited for foliage effects.

8. abstract 07 soft cover: A spikey, broken edged brush.

9. abstract 08 hard cover: A scratch, edgy brush.

10. abstract 09 hard cover: A splat brush.

Painter Brushes by Raccoon

SETUP :

First you need to localise the App Data Corel Painter Default Folder.
This contain all of your works in painter (settings,personal brushes, librarys, ect ...)
In windows 7, the folder is in :"C:\Users\Raccoon\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Painter 11\Default"
Raccoon is my UserName in windows.
Now, enter in the folders Brushes and into "Painter Brushes"

To install my brushes, you have 2 options:

1- If you want one Category icon in Painter, copy "Raccon Brushes" folder and JPG to the Painter Brushes folder

2- If you want multiples Categorys, with icons, copy all appart "Raccoon Brushes" folder and JPG to the Painter Brushes folder.

All brushes names is in French (because I'm), you can rename it directly without painter.

When it's the first time you load my brushes in Painter, in may take time calculations to generate brush dabs previews in painter.
I don't include it because this will enable compatibility issues between different Painter versions.

INSTRUCTION :

Some Brushes need to "Pick Up underlying Color" to work properly, or with a Layer Gel.
Obviously, they work more naturaly with a tablet device.
I use an intuos 3 with this brush tracking in painter : (default setting with wacom configuration)

Velocity Scale = 4
Velocity Power = 1
Pressure Scale = 1
Pressure Power = 2

Here are my Corel Painter X brushes. I'm pretty sure you can use these on Painter 7-9 too.

I don't use all these brushes on the one drawing. There's a good variety here and I use whatever I feel like using on the day or if I want a certain look.

Valentine fun

Edit : I know it looks wrong... Each time I do those sort of drawings it always look like the other one is gonna rape XD (I did an other one before where she was like 4 years old and it was her father who was doing it... But it also looked wrong XDD he looked like a pedo) but don't worry, Jo is a good boy, he does not rape now grope.... Cause if he did... Well he'd get slaughtered 8D by her 8D nah but even if she was too weak to even hurt him he would never do such a thing XD he's a good boy XD

So here's what I had wanted to draw for valentines day, tbh I do have a little tickle fetish and sometimes I just have fun imagining scenes of that XD
Tho, normally, I only younger kids sometimes cause they are so cute and after I just love when they dare me to try to catch them if I can XD (except when theres risks of him getting hurt... Like my cousin who was passing under the table to see if I could get him, but the table had lots of food on it since it was a christmas party and I was like, nah better not, don't want you to get hurt.

I adore kids... And when I get my owns, I'll have three. Peanutbutter, Pepsi and Pizzapop 8D. And I'll abandon them when they'll be 8, cause they won't be cute anymore. BWAHAHAHAHA *just kidding X) I won't be an awful mother don't worry... Just teaseful and might sometimes pulls some pranks XD*

Added a little rose to add something abit more valentine-like and had to give Jo dat goatee -w- he looks dayum hawt with a goatee and side burns XD

I also gotta seriously give them more medieval cloths than that... Honestly they are from a medieval world but got modern clothings XD tho I never put them socks when they are in a house since I wasn't sure if they actually wore socks in medieval times but put bandages for some reason, I actually like it when I see charactors in movies having bandages on their feets when they walk around, not necessairly because they are wounded or injured.

A few seconds ago I did a quick research actually on google bout socks, one said ''Some people did. But then, as now, many people simply wore shoes without socks. However, they were used for unlined boots, (and especially for armored knights).'' and in an other it said ''In early medieval times, those who wore socks were considered of the noble classes.'' ''And in the 16th century with the invention of the knitting machine, tighter woven socks were made.'' and my story would be before the 16th century, maybe in the 14th century dunno, never really thought of it, theres also ''Knitting schools opened in the 16th century making it easier to acquire socks.'' ''Men wore stockings before women even did, but they were called hose and by the twelfth century a staple in a man’s wardrobe'' now I'm trying to find out what ment hose x) yay for google XD tho if someone can explain me before I find it out myself cause I dunno what to write to find out, I translated the word in french but yeh... I wanna know why they called them hose X) what they ment by that.

Just by thinking that, don't wanna imagine how it felt like walking with shoes but without socks ._. I never wear shoes without socks (except sandles, but they arent shoes... And sandles with socks... Ehhh... I know I'm not a fashion fanatic but nah.... I won't wear sandles with socks XD) just imagine how their boots smell horrible ._. I had heard they didn't take baths in medieval times too because they thought it wasn't good to take one or something, don't remember, but just saw while doing some researches on google to give more information that it's a myth XD they did bath.

Man I have to give myself a kick in the ass and give them more medieval like cloths X) unless I use the excuse Ahahaha-it's-my-univer-that-I-created-so-I-give-them-the-clothing's-I-want but nahh, it's mostly the colors actually that bugs me X) oftenly medieval clothings have brown, black or green cloths. Dunno if they are a few other colors. But I love giving more colorish things.

Anyways, happy valentine's day y'all~ I'll do one last picture of valentine's day for all those who are alone on valentine's day XD and here's a little story for that picture if you wanna read it it's up to you X) last thing, just checked something to say what day was established valentines day cause I thought it didn't exist in medieval times and saw ''The day was first associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. I actually might do further researches for you guys about valentine's day and do a journal about it if it interests you guys, I know I rarely check my grammar and I probably got a lot of errors in my texts, one thing I do know is sometimes I don't put my words in the right order. That's one of the things I noticed in my english text things. And I've never been quite good in checking my grammar, even in french. (tho I do less errors in french than in english when I take time to correct X) tho I do have trouble homophones, that's one thing my french teacher told me I had most trouble with. And abit the verbs since in french there is alooot of grammar rules on it, in english classes since I moved to french school I do admit they always gave us grade 3 stuff :T so it was always quite easy for me, past tense, futur and present. Didn't have alot of trouble with it :T

Anyways, I'll shut up and do the story.

Today was quite a calm day, the wind blew softly as Jonathan rode his horse throught a pathway, going throught the woods as a shortcut. He had a rose in his head which he took off the thorns. After a few minutes of walk, he arrived at a farm. The only animals their were we're chickens for eggs, 2 cows for milk and two horses that were for traveling when time came where they had to travel with horses. It was where Maxence lived with his daughter, Angel. Ofcourse at her age she could have already chosen to live with him now, being 18 years old, but both had chosen to stay with their fathers a little longer. Atleast until they had completly finished their trainings. They still had a few years to go before being officially elemental knights, still having much to learn.

He hid the rose for the moment behind him, placing it behind his pants and belt and hiding it with his shirt. He stopped infront of the front door and softly knocked on the door. After a few seconds, he could hear some foot steps and then the door opened. Angel had opened it ''Ahh ? Didn't expect you today.'' she said, surprised. He smirked abit ''That's all what you got to say ? I came all this way for you and that's how you greet me ? Alright then... I'm going back home !'' he said, doing a fake insulted look. She smirked abit, knowing he wasn't serious. Tho when he saw her smirk there was a little something strange ''Alright, bye.'' she grinned abit, closing the door but reopened it. ''Tsk ! Mean !'' he said. Her grin had seemed strange abit too.

She smirked again and put on her boots then came out, scratching the chestnut horse on the chin as he softly blew on her face. ([link] thats how the horse looks like X) burned chestnut ? not sure, tho in french it says burned chestnut, alezan brulé) she then looked at Jonathan ''Let's bring him with the other horses.'' she said. He nodded and first off, went to the stables to take off the saddle and the briddle. Putting it on the fence of one of the boxes. He then brought him outside where all the two other horses were, eating the grass peacefully. Afterward they closed the fence of where the horses we're so they wouldn't get out and went in the house.

Once in, they put off their boots, he noticed her father wasn't here right now. Jo smirked and said ''So your surprised I came ? After this special day ?'' he said. She rose an eyebrow, not quite understanding ''Your gonna ask me money, I sense it ! I know everything !'' she said jokingly ''100 gold coins please ?'' he joked back then went back on a more serious answer and smirked saying ''But really.'' he said ''Well as I know it's not my birthday.''

This actually amused him, it seemed she had forgotten what day it was today. But she actually rarely paid attention on holidays, she even sometimes forgot it was her birthday tho in some ways, she tries to forget it because when he reminded her it was her birthday, she gave him one hella of a glare because he reminded her she was getting older in that way. Which always amused him. She always exagerated her reactions. Right now tho she didn't seem as gleeful as usual ''Are you doing alright?'' he asked. She looked at him then chuckled ''Common, just because I don't know what day is today ? What day is it ?'' she asked ''That you'll have to guess it, I love mind torturing you.'' he grinned ''You dick =_='' she said, knowing he was gonna have lots of fun and that he wouldn't give her a single slight clue.

He chuckled abit but just looked at her smile, it wasn't her real smile that was obvious. Something seemed to be bothering her. She went to grab a cup that had tea in it, tho it was almost empty and finished it with a few sips. They went to sit on the couch and she crossed her legs and layed her cheek on her hand, elbow on her leg and looking at the ceiling, trying to remember what they it was. Honestly, she wasn't the type of girl who would whine if you forgot about her birthday because it made her feel old and about valentines day because... Well... She always forgot about it.

She used to do some cards as a kid for all the kids she knew, but today wasn't like this anymore. He smirked and said ''I am dissapointed of you.'' he said ''But... But... D':'' she said, exaggerating her expressions ''Here, I'll be nice with you, today. Here's a good clue that should give you the answer. Even tho you probably got me nothing since you forgot about it.'' he lifted the back of his shirt, he had wanted to play it like if he was the one who completely forgot about it but she never had seemed to actually remember it, which was why he told her about the special day. He took out the rose and gave it to her. Her ears perked up. Now knowing, of course, it was valentine's day ! She had actually thought of doing something for him but with all what she had to do it came out of her mind. Tho, she chose to joke a bit and said ''Still don't get it.'' she said, but her smile betrayed her, he chuckled a bit ''Yeah right, don't play it ! I know you guessed it ! Your an awful liar !'' he said. She smirked ''God damn smile !'' as she took the rose and gave him a huge tight hug and a kiss on the cheek ''Sorry for getting you nothing, had thought of it but I had been first of all through a lot of training's lately and a lot of stresses this week.'' she said.

He knew there was something she didn't exactly tell, but for now hugged her and said ''It's alright, I'm not a girl I won't whine if you get me nothing, the hug and kiss was just enough~ the rest I don't care~'' he grinned, she whacked his head but now super hard''I don't whine when you get me nothing D: just your presence makes me happy!'' she said ''Hey ! That hurts ! You man beater ! D: I give you a rose and here you whack my head !'' he said jokingly ''Oh don't be a wuss !'' she chuckled abit, a little bit more smiley now but still there was something. She smelled the rose then said ''Thanks a lot, I love it~'' she said. He sat next to her and rubbed her head ''My pleasure, atleast there has to be one in the couple who doesn't forget and gives something.'' he grinned teasefully ''Dude ! Two seconds ago... You said you didn't care, the hug and the kiss was enough ! MAKE UP YOUR MIND, MAN !'' she said.

He just smirked, then, again, looked more serious and looked her in the eyes ''Now to be more serious, what's bothering you ? I clearly can see something's either worrying you or your sad about something, I see it in your eyes... Your smile... Your laugh, it lost all it's gleefulness. You don't seem like the happy-go Angel I know.''

Her ears starting going down and now with a more nervous unsure smile she said ''It's nothing important, don't worry.'' he looked at her and shook his head ''Don't lie to me, now your smile looks more like a nervous one.'' she let out a sigh ''I don't wanna talk about it....'' she said, ears completely down now, her stare away from him and looking down and crossed arms and legs. He looked at her, and sighed, before she had turned her head her eyes had began turning watery, which was probably why she turned her head and looked down. Hotheaded like she was she especially hated when others saw her crying, feeling usually humiliated by that, thinking a warrior like her shouldn't cry.

He hated seeing her sad and grabbed her arms, turning her a little bit then grabbing her ankles, pulling her on the couch and making sure ofcourse that she layed comfortably. He sat on her legs and to avoid from getting pushed off or her trying to defend herself, he blocked her arms with his legs, holding her tightly, placing his hands on her shoulders then ruffled her hairs with one hand. ''You know, I could stay like this all day.'' he said and cleaned a tear away from her cheek with his thumb, taking the rose so he wouldn't crush it and putting it somewhere on the couch ''You know I hate to see you crying, it means your sad. And when your sad, it makes me sad and wanna make you happy. Now, tell me.'' he said, she seemed hesitant and now attempted struggling to get him off, but she could only move one leg abit, the other one was completly blocked. She wasn't able to get her arms off either and since he had his hands on her shoulders, she was forced to stay layed down.

She let out a sigh, giving up ''You'll find this stupid.... I know he is strong and all and always came back in one piece... But yeh....'' she hesitated again and then he guessed she was talking about her father ''Where is Max ?'' he asked. She looked at him then stared down again. Well technically his chest seeing she was layed down but more like a blank stare ''He's gone on a mission, he told me he'd come back but there's been a few days he should've been back. Ofcourse I can take care of myself and all... And he didn't tell me at all what the mission was... But I heard him talking about it during the middle of the night with Eiridan... He is gone to get a highly dangerous criminal... Of course normal humans is nothing next to us, we could bring a normal powerless and with a normal strength human down easily. But it's not a normal human... He has some powers which they couldn't explain, but he had destroyed plenty of cities with not much trouble... It's the type of mission they'd never ever send us in our current level...'' she said ''And he went there alone ?'' he asked and she shooked her head ''He went there with Eiridan, Yabaro and Ian since there was also possibilities the guy would have also dangerous allies...'' she said ''So that's why I hadn't seen these four lately... And why didn't you speak to Max about it ?'' he asked and she shrugged ''Cause I didn't want him to see I was worried...'' she said.

Jonathan just laughed abit, squeezing her cheek, tho he stopped his laugh so she wouldn't feel humiliated ''Come on, theres nothing wrong in being worried. Everyone gets worried, even me, even your father.'' he said ''Yeh but I ALWAYS get worried for simple things...'' she snorted. ''I know, but your just caring for the others. I know you easily get worried, I know you quite well. And if he was sepposed to be back a few days ago, it's a bit normal that it gets you even more worried. But if something ever happened to him, if he died, you know that we would learn it quickly. Maybe he's just having some difficulties right now.'' he said, trying to comfort her abit. It actually worried him a little bit too, but for now he wanted to see her smile.

She sighed ''It's what I've been telling myself, he could have some difficulties... He'll come back... And all... I tried everything to take away my stresses... But with no results... In my mind all I wanted was to directly go find him.'' she said and Jonathan said ''On your own it would be a bad idea, if like you said we arn't enough strong to fight off that guy, you'd turn into a major burden for him, cause the guy could use you as hostage to manipulate him if he captured you and learned you were his daughter.'' he said. She sighed, Jonathan was right on that part ''The other elder elementals must still be keeping in touch with them somehow. We could just go see with my father, but normally all of them always keep contact, so if something happens, just the fact they havn't sent any messages for a while could make them more tempted to go see what's going on, or if your father or the others sends a message about being in trouble. We could just go talk about it to my father.'' he said with a smile, she sighed and nodded ''Alright...'' she said.

He did comfort her a bit but her ears was still pinned down and eyes still watery. A thought passed his mind as he thought of the fact she was completely pinned down, could hardly get away and couldn't defend herself. He looked at her, making sure to not grin right away to not give his intentions ''And after all that ? You ain't gonna give me a real smile ? The smiles that I love ?'' she looked at him and shrugged ''You did recomfort me a little, and I'm actually glad you forced me to speak... But I don't feel like smiling... I will still be worried until I get some news...'' she said. He then looked and said ''Well, I guess I'll have to make you smile, I wanna see you smile and laugh~ You know what that means ?'' he said with a toothy grin now.

Her ears perked up, dear lord... She knew she was gonna be screwed now ''Don't you dare ! D:'' she said. He smirked and placed his fingers on her sides, he hadn't even done anything yet and she screeched, thinking he was gonna do it ''Jo ! No ! Don't !'' she said, struggling already, he just chuckled ''I didn't even do it yet and your already screeching ? This is gonna be fun~'' he grin, tickling her sides. She tried to hold her laugh, biting her lips and grinning, contracting her muscles and closing her fists as she tried to get her arms out but to no success. It didn't last 3 seconds that she started giggling ''Hahaha ! Dude ! Stahahahap it you dick !'' she said, still laughing and struggling.

He just chuckled, not having any trouble keeping her down. He grabbed her shirt, lifting it up a little bit, not completly only partly. He gave her a soft kiss on the neck and said ''Let the giggling festivity start, your going to tickle hell~'' he grinned, tickling her belly. She now laughed loudly, having a lot more trouble to talk now ''AHAHAHAHAHAHA ST.... HAHAHAHAAASTAHAHAHAHAHAAAAP ! STAHAHAHAHAHAP ! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!'' she tried to pronounce other words, but stop was the only one she could pronounce. Nothing else. He moved his left hand to her side, keeping the right one where it was, attacking her belly and left side at the same time. This time, she wasn't even able to talk, blushing as she simply felt a little bit humiliated tho in an amusing way, halfly she felt humiliated and annoyed, a little part amused. But she still wanted the torture to stop, she tried to talk and could only do the s sound. Being quickly cut by her laughings. He chuckled ''You already endured high pains, passed a few of your fears, your not even scared of huge blood thirst beasts, your a warrior... But when it comes to tickles.'' he chuckled ''I'm sure if you could talk right now, you would be begging me to stop, am I right ?'' he grinned, she nodded while laughing, hoping it would atleast stop ''Well to bad for you~'' he grinned.

He finally gave her a break, letting her catch her breath as she had coughed a little. ''I hate you ! That was really torturous!'' she said with an annoyed expression, tho she had some hint of amusement. He chuckled and said ''You'll forgive me anyways.'' he grinned, patting her belly. She screeched, thinking he was gonna restart but he only pat. He chuckled and went to poke her side, but stopped right before touching and she screeched. He laughed and said ''Man it's fun torturing you !'' he said with a grin, attacking once again and forcing her to laugh and smile ''And I love your laugh~ It's funny and cute~ The best moments for me is seeing you smile and laugh, cause I know your happy, even if it's forced~ And your so cute when you look all shy, blushing like that and feeling humiliated !'' he said, ofcourse, she wasn't able to answer. After about 10 minutes of tortures, including all the breaks he gave her so she could catch her breath, he finally stopped and kissed her forehead ''I love you, you know that ?'' he said ''I don't, not anymore :C your a dick !'' she said and he chuckled ''You'll forgive me anyways, and you know what's even more fun ? You can't even get your revenge since I ain't ticklish, and if you try anything to get your revenge, you know what's gonna happen.'' he grinned, pulling her shirt back down. She snorted ''One day I'll find your weakness and trust me, you'll have a reason to be scared !'' she grinned. If she could find something... He chuckled and ruffled her hairs up, getting off of her and said ''Good luck, now I guess we could go see my father ? So you can sleep in peace without being stressed.'' he said. She nodded, staying on the couch a few seconds while catching her breath.

He chuckled and waited a bit before she got up and went to get her boots, now eager to go see Ace ''Next time something like that worries you, tell it to me. Don't let it haunt you.'' he said ''But you'll tickle me TT_TT'' she said and he chuckled ''Nah I won't, promise. I just felt in a little teasing mood right now. You'd be hating me if I did it each times, wouldn't you ? But I will pin you down till you tell me all, or else if your a bit more hotheaded, a little torture to make you tell the truth.'' he grinned. She snorted and pulled her tongue out, finishing to put her shoes and swishing her tail around. Once she got up, he gave her a hug from the back and said ''Forgot to say while giving the rose, happy valentine's day, and know all always be there to bring you up when your down.'' he said, she got out of his arms but to turn around and hugged him back ''Thanks.'' she said.

Ugh, category should just be "Painter" instead of Painter IX. (kicks DA)

This is a slight tweak on Corel Painter 7's Scratchboard Tool for inking. I love the smoothness of the Scratchboard Tool, but sometimes I want them rough edges for that frayed, sketchy feel while drawing. <3 Just thought I'd share the settings, in case someone else out there needs something like this.

No idea if this works for more recent/older versions of Painter, sorry.

EDIT: Added some new brushes, messed with the Round1 and the Round Build1, got rid of Crosshatch1 (actually I didn't, Painter did),

I'll eventually make this pack bigger and better, but enjoy for now.

I have no idea if they'll work in the earlier versions. I created these in Painter 11.

Feedback is always welcome, credits are not required, but do not claim these as your own.

Siiiigh. It's a .rar folder containing custom brushes and an icon. Place/ copy and paste it in the brush folder.

256 Swatches for Corel Painter 9.5. I know the program is old, and maybe everyone else has switched to Photoshop already, but... is my program, and maybe there is someone out there who is enough nostalgic about it to care (me as example...).

If you use Corel PhotoImpact X3, so I created it, you can change everything except the black frame!

There are some limitations to all the Photoshop, Gimp, etc. PainNet use.

You can frame the glass and black frame will not change, solid objects. But everything else you can substitute your own font and background image.
It includes some sample background images that you may not only everything you must do yourself.

Kwik Draw Corel Painter 11 Oil Brushes

I created these two main brushes to be used with Corel Painter 11 on my Windows XP computer, but they should be compatible with earlier versions of Corel Painter as well.

WHAT IS IN THE SET?
There are two brushes in this set:
1) KD Oil Brush 01: For broad brush strokes with painterly effects.

2) KD Oil Brush 02: For detailed work or glazing with transparent colors.

For my working style, these two brushes are sufficient. None of the built-in brushes are satisfactory, but these two at least are making me happy!

HOW TO INSTALL THE SET?
For Windows XP and Corel Painter 11, installation is a breeze. Just download the zip file and unzip the contents of the zip file into the following directory (you have to be administrator of the computer you want to install the brushes):

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter 11\Brushes\Painter Brushes

Notes:
1) The zip file contains two items:
a) A folder named "KD Corel Painter Oil Brushes"
b) An avatar named "KD Oil Brushes.jpg"
2) Put the two items a) and b) above in the directory shown above, then restart Corel Painter. You should see my avatar (hoodie) and the two brushes.
3) It has been reported that sometimes the avatar is seen, but not the brushes. If that happens to you, then just rename the folder as follows:
"KD Corel Painter Oil Brushes" ---> "KD Oil Brushes"
then restart Corel Painter again. This time you should see the brushes!

For other versions of Windows or Corel Painter, change the path appropriately.

EXAMPLES OF PAINTINGS THAT I MADE USING THESE BRUSHES:

SETUP :

A-SCRIPTS
To install Scripts, there is 3 methods: (in Painter 11 I use the third option)

1-Use the Script Mover:
To show Scripts, launch the menu "Window" and chosse "Scripts".
After this, next to close button in the "Script" window, there is an arrow.
Clic on it and chosse "Script Mover".
In the left panel, it is the default "Painter Scripts.scripts" file. (wich is arbitrary use when you launch painter)
So, Click "Open" behind the left panel and browse to chose "Painter Tool.scripts"
Now drag and drop, from the right panel to the left panel each script square button.
This could be annoying because painter is a little buggy, so refer to the names of scripts.
All Scripts in the right pannel must be placed in the left panel.
After this can Clic "Done" to close the Script Mover, and close the windows "Scripts"

2-Replace the Painter Scripts file:
In your computer, browse your files to find the App Data Corel Painter Default Folder.
This contain all of your works in painter (settings,personal brushes, librarys, ect ...)
In windows 7, the folder is in :"C:\Users\Raccoon\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Painter 11\Default"
Raccoon is my UserName in windows.
There is a file name : "Painter Scripts.scripts", it's the default scripts so if you want to keep it, make a copy backup in a right place.
Now rename my file "Painter Tool.scripts" into "Painter Scripts.scripts"
Copy this file and paste it to the AppData Default Folder.

3-Just copy in right place: (not sure but i think this could be work only with greater version than painter 8)
In your computer, browse your files to find the App Data Corel Painter Default Folder.
This contain all of your works in painter (settings, personal brushes, librarys, ect ...)
In windows 7, the folder is in :"C:\Users\Raccoon\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Painter 11\Default"
Raccoon is my UserName in windows.
Simply copy my scripts "Painter Tool.scripts" into the AppData Default Folder.

Notes about Scripts:
Painter will create somes scripts with dates automatically in "Painter Scripts.scripts".
There are your paintings replay, so you can erase it if you want.

B - PALETTE = Painter Tool
In Painter launch the menu "Window" and chosse "Cutom Palette"
Next there is a window, click in "import" and browse to select my pallete file "Painter Tool.PAL".
You will the Tool platte, to finish clic "Done".
Now, you can resize my palette, reorganise buttons with shift + drag and drop.
If you want to delete button, drag it out of the Tool.

INSTRUCTION :

All buttons use my personal scripts, appart one wich is the eraser (the bottom right).
If you want it to work you must use my Painter Raccon Brushes with the brush "Fx Gomme".
You can delete it to drag out.

Fill Layer with Paper, Reset Paper, and the 4 files configurations don't touch brushes.
The rest do tweaks of brushs, but this could be see in the Brushs Controls.

Tips:
Regarding the "Enable Paper Texture" feature, you can automatically set the Grain and Expression setting.
First you need to create your brush, with a "Flat" or a "Soft Cover".
Clic "Enable Paper Texture" and ajust the setting of Grain and Expression setting like you want .(it's behind the Opacity setting).
Resave your brush like this, with the "Save Default Variant" option.
Reverse to the old brush Subcategory with a "Flat " or "Soft" cover setting like you have done firstly.
Save the Default Variant again.

Now, when you restore your brush (with "Reset Tool" button), you have a standard brush without paper influence,
and when you clic "Enable Paper texture" it will remind the Grain and Expression setting.

Estuve tratando de hacer una atmosfera de romance y terror con los personajes que he creado.

Es la parte de la historia en donde el malvado da conocer sus intenciones, pero como a mi no me gusta hacer cosas predecibles, en realidad el malvado termina siendo el bueno de la película y el que pensamos que es el héroe es en realidad todo lo contrario.

Basándome en comentarios hechos por Harry, he creado esta mini historia.

Justo al salir de salón de baile, Sandra es alcanzada por su hermano, preguntando el motivo de su temprana partida, a este la joven dama le responde, quería conocer personas que valgan la pena, no niños ricachones que no conocen la vida, y que solo hablan de sus yates o partidos de polo que han ganado.
Dracwolf le responde a su hermana, si eso quieres te acompañare al auto,
Sandra y su hermano Dracwolf se detienen en el patio de entrada y contemplan las estrellas, al tiempo que el este le comenta que esta orgulloso de ser su hermano mayor, y de tener una hermana que no cae en los engaños de una vida de lujos y facilidad, que busca a una persona que valga por lo que es y no por lo que tiene, y ambos se abrazan.
Los hermanos no saben que son vigilados por alguien que tiene otras intenciones, una sombra que busca satisfacer sus anhelos sin importar el costo.
Dracwolf por ser vampiro tiene sus instintos y sentidos más desarrollados que Sandra y nota algo inusual en el ambiente, y siente la presencia de otro muerto vivo, quien a pesar de hacerse invisible no pasaba desapercibido ante los ojos del lobo.
Sin embargo con disimulo toma a su hermana y la lleva a descansar a su casa. Sandra sonríe y se alegra de estar siempre protegida por su hermano, sin saber el oscuro futuro que le depara el destino.

Sandra y Dracwolf son personajes de mi amigo Harry .

I was trying to make a romance and terror atmosphere with the characters I created.

It is part of the story where the evil says their intentions, but I do not like doing a evil and predictable character, in fact, the bad, at last is the good of the film, and which we think is the hero, really is everything contrary.

Based on comments made by Harry, I've created this mini-story.

Just outside the ballroom, Sandra is met by his brother, and he requests the reason for his early departure, this young lady replied, wanted to know who worthwhile, not richies children who do not know life, and that only speak of their yachts and his wins in polo matches.
Dracwolf replied his sister, if you want that I will accompany the car.
Dracwolf and her sister Sandra stood in the entrance courtyard and contemplate the stars, while the young says he is proud to be his older brother and have a sister who does n´t fall into the delusions of a life of luxury and facility, which is seeking a person for his real valor not for his possessions.
The brothers do not know they are watched by someone who has other intentions, a shadow that wants to satisfy their desires, no matter the cost.
Dracwolf is a vampire for this reason he has their instincts and senses more developed than Sandra and note anything unusual in the environment, and he feels the presence of another dead alive, who despite become invisible not going unnoticed to the eyes of the wolf.
However with dissimulation Dracwolf takes his sister and takes her to rest in her home. Sandra is happy and smiling because always will be protected by her brother, not knowing the dark future that holds the destination.

Sandra and Dracwolf are characters of my friend Harry .

I tried to make it similar, but it's not the same.
It probably needs some tweaking.

How to install:
Unzip the file and import the brushvariant.

ps. My trial period of Sai was over like a month ago, and I didn't have the program next to me to compare while making this brush. I made this from whatever I remember while using Sai, and it can function differently from the actual Sai brush

I used Picnik to maniuplate the colours, kind of to mimic 's awesome actions. (I know it says Corel Painter, didn't know what to use.)

A goblin wolf that is the guardian of the pine forest in the north, he dedicated his life to protect the helpless people from bandits and assassins.
Despite appearances Neozeth has a great heart and pure spirit of valour.
This armor was a gift from a noble dragon called Holydrake, its steel was forged in the top of the dragon mountains, and is considerated the most hard and durable armor of the planet, its is a variation of the steel called silver steel and is like the mithril.
