PERSONALITY
Gnalex rather humble in a familiar or business atmosphere. She keeps a professional appearance when it’s due. When she’s not too concerned about keeping a formal, she’ll range from sassy, stubborn, mischievous, or playful. Though this part of her personality is shown around those close to her. Otherwise she's rather reclusive.
Gnalex is constantly lost in thought and day dreamy when she’s left to her own on a good day. She's plaqued with an inner turmoil she doesn't quite understand. When in battle she’s like a whole other person. She’s formal at first, then fierce. She’ll become ferocious when the fight get’s intense. Afterwords she’ll switch back like nothing happened.

When it comes to her heart, she’s less concerned with repossessing it. She’s simply determined to know what it holds and if it would finally help her understand herself. Deep down, she’s unnerved at what would happen if she did regain possession of it. What would happen to her then? Will what she has now be lost? Will she just regain something she had actually wanted to lose once upon a time? These are the things that plague her. She has a surprising dark outlook on certain things.

Likes: LOVES pastries ( stuff like cake, cookies, cupcakes, etc. ), reading, cold weather, origami, creativity/originality, lavender or other light purple colors, the smell of fresh bread baking, accents, tea, comfortable silences, sweets.
Dislikes: Sea food, hot weather, being teased about her height, other non-nobodies, her butt.

GNALEX'S FIGHTING STYLE
When fighting she is fierce and focused. Gnalex is all business in battle but can get carried away. Speed is her main advantage. A quick thinker and mainly relies on her paper to do most of the work. If paper is of no use, she has a back up on speed in a form of aerobatic fighting mainly made up of kicking styles of fighting arts. This is used in close range when she gets the chance. She has a bad habit of leaving herself open when fighting an enemy alongside a companion. She worries too much of their well fare.
She can strengthen her paper by layering paper or petrifying them to make individual sheets each sharpened and stronger.
She likes forming the pages into origami figures, these help her manage their movements better and depending on the form, they can be intimidating. She’ll also form them into other weapons, such as daggers, spears, bow and arrows, etc.
Very R.O.D. inspired.
Her briefcase when full is extremely heavy, but to Gnalex it feels like nothing thank to her ability to control it.

Trade with =Konveekou(aka:glow sister) of their flipen amazing ink creature, Melaene.
Melaenes being an artist smearing her inky pads on the ground. I'm always happy to get a more abstract character like this one cause it always seems to feel right when I draw the inky flows on the back. I didn't realize until I started posting this that a few markings were left off so I'll fix those sometime tomorrow morning.

Just might have to barrow Melaene every once in a while.

Heeey, I don't know if this is A Thing Which Is Done, but damned if I didn't blarf a lot of time into arranging this thing, so I'm gonna share it.

These are the pages from my portfolio. We've seen a chunk of these things on dA, I'll scatter links to those below for the interested. Mostly there's some concept stuff in here I don't think we've seen.

In my limited experience sharing my work, for people planning to put together a portfolio, I'd considering including a slice of the sketch work and ideation behind pieces, if you've kept some around. It was one of the most frequent things professional art people said to me, how stoked they were to get to peek behind the scenes and into the guts of the machine. As it were.

Yes. I did do little BrainSpews for my opening and closing spreads. People got a kick out of them. (:

TC - E P I C A - V structures and lining is a complex artistic brushset containing 17 HD Brushes, all made by me, Andi of Treehouse Charms with PS 7.

These brushes can be used for complex structures, smudging, brushing, effects, texturing and on small sizes like for example 14, 4 and 2 px for lining.

I listened to you ! As a result of this I offer you a transformation chart to the right of the preview. It is held in black and white.... so you can cut out the images and transform these images into brushes with your GFX-Programm. -> This is meant especially for GIMP and maybe also SAI if SAI supports brushes and you know how to do them So I hope this will help you

done in the car, mix of styles, mostly leaning more toward the style I enjoy, starting from scratch or modifying with think fonts.

only a few had fonts I started with in this batch, a bulk are custom.

ones with starting fonts:

Kingdra: Trebuchet MS
Hoothoot: Raavi
Skarmory: Cambria Math
Glameow: Freestyle Script
Togekiss: Girls are weird

the rest didn't have starting fonts and made from scratch.

mix of practicing styles: such as doing 2 alternate takes for the same pokemon (hitmontop) , more rock metal like styles (shinx, skorupi) , girly styles (glameow, togekiss)

I didn't notice this trend until the end, but I have a habit of designing G's into mouths in various ways, just a good letter to do that kind of approach

Shiny Thundurus - Therian Forme

Thundurus is about 11" tall, unless he's sitting at an angle (like he's flying), then he's about 8"
He's made completely from both cloud and regular minky, and his face is machine embroidered. 100% Hand sewn (beside his face).

My photography skills still need a lot of work, so just to clarify; He is the correct colors, he just doesn't appear so in these pictures X3 His purple turned out way too dark/almost blue.

This plushie is OOAK (One of a Kind) and handmade by me.
