This is a milkweed pod that hasn't gone fluffy. The seeds inside the pod are woody and scale-like.

This was taken with a macro lens, and my depth of field didn't stretch far, so please accept my apologies for slight focus issues in spots.

Wood and Ceiling Texture Pack

Took pictures of many wood structures in my house, and a few ceiling pictures.

Most of them are cropped, because of the flash, but other than that, they all are 1024x768 so you may have to scale down.

Some of these I think might look good as scales on a dragon or something; clap me upside the head if I'm wrong. A dragon that looks like this tree, though, would probably be pretty old. ^_^
