I am pretty stoked on this guy. And he's actually not REALLY big, I don't make really large sculpts, but he feels bigger. He's still just 3 inches tall. But there is LOTS of detail packed into him. That mane. Ugh. Ridiculous. Not to mention the wings! I made them extra strong by putting wire mesh inside them. I forgot how much work big wings are

I just got a few different wand toy attachments from the Frenzy Cat Toy range and the first one I've opened is the Ratatouille. It was an instance hit with Theo, my 10 month old Abyssinian kitten. In fact it's almost too successful - if he gets his jaws around it he starts growling, tries to drag it off somewhere and refuses to let go! After 5+ minutes of growling from him I gave up waiting for him to drop the toy and tried distracting him with ham - he was interested in the ham, but not enough to drop the toy. So I had to resort to prising it out of his mouth. "Purrs In Our Hearts" in the UK stock this and a load of other Frenzy cat toys

From the book by William L. Putnam, commissioned and published by Light Technology Publishing, 2008.

A non-fiction story about the passes in the Alps Mountains of central Europe, and the ancient belief, that the glaciers found there, were like dragons on the land.

So, I set about making the art look like a glacier, and a dragon. One of the few works in which I tried a technique, similar to the work of Bev Doolittle...

I always liked Crowley as a character, but in a sort of "nice when he's there, doesn't miss him when he's gone" way. It's only after the season 8 final that I have taken a proper interest in him, just because I really want to see what he's like now. Was his humanity fleeting? Did he fake it? Is he truly remorseful and wants forgiveness? I hope for the last one, because boy would that be interesting. Don't need more of the same old tricking everyone song from him. If he's just faking it, I wouldn't mind him dying.

About a dozen really old Pokémon sketches are sitting around, and I decided to work on a Ho-Oh.
This is like the 3rd or 4th Ho-Oh I've sketched... but this chappie is the first to ever be finished.

Meh, I'm not too happy with it though. Really, really don't like that awkward choppy tail. *slaps self*

Thopesh, a heir of Egyptian throne. A tesem hound with black tattoos. Strong-minded, loyal, courageous, serious, good leader by nature.
One of my oldest characters as well. He was known by the name 'Terracotta' before, but I decided to change it, mainly because of the same reasons as in the case of Xibalba/Muertos. The earlier name didn't fit the period and culture of the character (terracotta= Italian for 'baked earth'. I wanted something that would sound more Egyptian.)

Old art is old. The lineart is from 2011, finished in 2012, posting in 2013. If my memory serves me right, the background texture is by `hibbary.

Howleen was repainted by me

first, her eyebrows are pink because her hair is pink, please don't tell me "what the hell is this? pink eyebrows looks ugly, she's dark skin!!" or stuff like that, because seeing eyebrows in a different color than hair always make my eyes bleed
I did this repainting some weeks ago, but I was more excited about the BJD makeup so I wanted to submit those photos before.
This is Howleen Wolf just after her repainting, I put that around her head and body because the sealant could damage her hair this way the arms and legs doesn't annoy lol
this one have some improvements, so in a way is best than the other ones but still I'm not sure if I like it, because I had an accident with one of her cheeks...
so here's my critique:
I put excesive and too much dark blushing
her freckles are too dark and makes she looks sick
I used too much sealant on her and the face looks dirty and lumpy

the onlt thing I like about it are the eyes, still not symetric at all but I see a big improvement on them, at last I drew them with only the pencils and not the brushes, and it was all thanks to the multiple tips
I prefer to paint BJDs, but I want to do it good with MHs too, now it's something personal

feel free to critique to help me get better, but please be respectful with my work! I put a lot of time and effort on this

Maybe the biggest fossiles on this world are coral reefs, even the biggest structures that were ever created by living creatures. In the picture you can see a coral reef from the Trias age that reaches an altitude of about 8000ft. It is unlayered limestone rock, while sedimental limestone would be layered. Several fossiles can be found here too.
Meadow can be temporarly floodet. Gosau Valley, Austria.

This is one of my strongest models. The tension and compression allow it to be carried by the tail or neck without breaking.

A little idiosyncrasy that I have is layers. I can't wear them, at least not for long. I'm almost always stripping down to the least articles of clothing that I can tolerate given the weather around me. So even in Norway, where it was pretty damn cold, I still had to take my jacket off for this photoshoot because my crazy body temperature was just not having anything to do with that Rin jacket XD

Name: Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos)
Location: Canadian Arctic and the northern parts of Greenland
Size: 1.8 m long, 79 cm high weight: 75 kg
Diet: Caribou, musk oxen, Arctic Hares, seals, ptarmigan, lemmings. Arctic wolves eat all their prey, also its bones and fur
Conservation status: common. They still live in the whole of its original range, because local conditions are too extreme for humans.
Interesting facts: mother gives birth to some 2-3 pups in May. Pups are born almost black – as they get older, colour of their fur turns to white. Adults are completely white, even in summer | arctic wolves live in the pack of some 7-10 members. Only alpha male and alpha female mate | arctic wolves have shorter ears and nose than other wolves species.
