Well, this is a collection I did on my friends dock near her lake.
It was really cold out, but the shoot I think turned out really cool.
So, I know, I know, again not the best lighting or quality, but, good news!

I got a Digital Canon Rebel XT for Christmas!
So from now on, no more crappy picture quality!

but now you guys can't bug me about this crap can sort of have a really long glimpse of how i do hair! think of it as an early christmas gift, haha. it's basically the same process for everything that i do, and the only difference with long and short hair is how much time it takes to do. C: i hope it helps you guys out!

BTW, if anyone catches spelling mistakes and lets me know, i will love them eternally. i was so set on just finishing this thing that i kind of just said "DONE" and stopped caring after a while, haha ...

My colors

We were REALLY, painfully slow the day after christmas at work. So I drew this girl on my half and spent the rest of the morning inking her in ^_^

Feel free to color (just give me credit and link to the original.) I'll submit a better scan. This paper hardly fits my scanner.

I like her, especially her glasses... She was something quick and didn't require a lot of thought. I over think things a lot lately.

'kay ... these friggin' categories. maybe it's just me.

we need another one ... picture stories.

that's what this is.

but ... this will be a tutorial ... i guess.

after reading it a few times and proofreading as much as time would allow ... it kinda reminded me of "Naked Pictures of My Ex-Girlfriends."

we need a photo story category. i think.

this was written ... at my place ... at the office ... at the studio ... on a plane ... even in a restaurant.

editing the photos for inclusion was very cathartic.

fun.

really.

i went through a few years of photos. more than a few. it brought back memories.

good.

not really bad.

some poignant.

some what-the-fuck-ever.

i think the muse is my favourite subject.

they rock.

and, yes, this is 128 pages long. i know ... i'm a fucking freak.

but ... whatever.

it's kinda like my christmas -- or the ever-politically-correct term "holiday gift" -- to the dA community.

It all started when I decided my character study's skills needed some major upgrade: you have no idea how many hours I spent (and still am!) studying the human anatomy, with the skull, the bones, the range of facial expressions and everything else. All to achieve a satisfying human "synthesis".
These are some sketches I did during my Christmas break to get some exercise Some of them I even used in my homework for school! (the sparkling dude down there XD)

The greatest part is... I've always drawn girls, girls, girls... but now I love drawing boys even more!! 8D
