I made this because other works were not hi-res and had improper shapes, so I took the handy pen tool and traced these brushes.

How to Install and Use:
-Open Photoshop
-Click the brushes button on the toolwindow
-Click the arrow next to the brush preview
-Click the arrow in the top right of the panel
-Select "load brushes"
-Load the 2 brushes
-Select the brush you want to use and size it
-Use it as a normal brush

Rainmeter Photo PSD

PSD file for my Chiichan Rainmeter skin so now you can replace the photo in the frame with any picture.

To Use: Open the PSD file in a graphics application like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro. Gimp or Paint.net.

Open the picture you want inside the frame and place it above the photo layer (It should be a clipping mask). Save it as a PNG file and overwrite the one in the rainmeter skin.

The image is named chiichan.png, you can also edit the Rainmeter skin file ( chiichan.ini ) and change the background picture's filename too.

Important: You MUST save the new background as a PNG file to keep the transparency.

I bring you another super-basic rainmeter tutorial. As with the previous one, it will not show you how to create rainmeter skins, just edit them to some degree. For this tutorial specifically, its about resizing images and text.

My last tutorial will be about RSS feeds, clickable links, buttons, that sort of thing so stay tuned (or not :0).

Rainmeter tutorial #1 is about changing colors in rainmeter. It won't teach you how to create a skin, just edit it. I'll be putting up at least one more tutorial about resizing things in rainmeter so keep an eye out for that, ... you know... if your not busy... or anything.

Hopefully someone finds it useful, I'm not the best rainmeter skinner in the world but I'll do what I can to help others learn.

Rainmeter Theme - A Future Age

I have received several requests for this skin. Rather then just say no, I've prepped a .rar package that has a .txt instruction file, the .rmskin file, and a .psd file related to Slideshow Art prep. Due to my recent loss of all graphical project files for this Theme, no updates, changes or re-sizing is possible. This is an as-is release. This Rainmeter theme does not contain a Config file, and may confuse users who are new to Rainmeter.

Theme Desktop Size: This theme was developed for my crappy 1280 x 1024 desktop. Upcoming themes will be available for different Desktop sizes.

8-Bit Keanu (for Rainmeter)

Got bored, and inspired, buy a Reddit post of "Sad Keanu" who was able to be positioned on your taskbar. (Reddit post here. Original Sad Keanu, not 8-Bit, artist: ) I decided to 8-bitify him, and I liked the way he turned out. So, here you go! Hope you like it as much as I do.

Included is the GIMP .xcf file, the .png file, and the .ini file.

Get Rainmeter here.

_{Instructions: Modified from the Reddit post for the lazy.
1.) Download and install and run Rainmeter (linked above).
2.) Download the 8-Bit Keanu RAR file from here.
3.) Extract the contents of the RAR file into your documents/rainmeter/skins folder.
4.) Right click the rainmeter tray icon and hit "refresh all".
5.) Right click the icon again, go to "skins" tab and load the 8-Bit Keanu skin (Click the .ini file, then click "Load").
6.) Right click on Keanu himself, go to "settings" > "position" and select "stay topmost".}

image is a 1600 x 1200 resolution

something i made today... it started to be a Rainmeter skin... but then i said fuck that and made it into something useful.

Layer 3 is the layer you draw on and it has effects already on that layer... it is recommended that you use the default round brush from CS4, but you can use what ever you want...

on Layer 3, if you do not want to use white, then you should turn off the Color Overlay, and maybe change the Outer Glow effect to match the color you choice.

if you use this i ask you to please post a link back to this, so that other people can use it to

id like to see some cool drawings with this effect.
