Haven't finished balancing the colours on him yet... or finished detailing the shading, plus the bg isn't finished as you can see here from that pitiful looking bit or rock, nor have I finished the wings yet. Most of the dragon's head and body are shaded though, with just some reflected light and extra detailing in the shading to go, although I still have to finish his tail and extra tail... head... things. (makes sense if you look at the lineart)
First dragon I've drawn in years too... why did I have to make such a weird one? (answer: because I'm a weird art masochist).

It is a land filled with creatures just like Sonic, only there was not many cities, but beautiful trees, plants, and vegetation. Tori was born in a rain forest, from her mother, Aminikou, and her Father, Acacias. After all the pain and labor, Aminikou named her daughter, Tori. She and Acacias agreed on it because Tori standed for being victorious every single time in a physical or emotional battle.
3 years later, mother and father found out Tori had the power of pyrokinesis. They were scared at first, after all she is a girl, and not many girls have that power in their world. The only other one they knew of was Blaze, but she lives in a different dimension. They took her to a Power Doctor, which is a doctor that studied powers within a person. They gasped when they found out...her fire was stronger than blaze's. Blaze could still defeat her easily, but everyone still was surprised.
Pretty soon, she was known all over their world, about how powerful she was, how amazingly beautiful she was as a baby girl. She was trained by her father, who secretly had the fire power too.
But too many people heard of it...and soon the wrong people got a grasp of it. A male named Dr. Boreas wanted this power, and was jealous. He lived in space, in a giant, but surprisingly comfortable spaceship. He decided on her 5th birthday, he would kidnap her, and take her powers too. Finally, he succeeded, and kidnapped Tori. She was trapped in a giant glass tube for 4 months, Dr. Boreas found out it would take awhile to find out how to take her powers..and take her life with it. On the last week, He finally figured it out, and fired up the machine. It was going to turn all her internal organs to dust, and extract her DNA at the same time. Tori panicked, and started screaming, crying, and pleading. She knew it wouldn't work. She was in a base far away from her home. She closed her eyes as she whispered her last goodbyes, as the machine she was inside got hotter and hotter and hotter. It felt like an oven. But suddenly, the machine shut off. Tori, and Dr.Boreas were confused. Suddenly, a adult Skunk and Hedgehog busted through the wall. They were a couple, and they were both in the army, judging by their clothes. Cinder the Skunk and Jasper the hedgehog immediately took action. Cinder went over and was destroying the machine, while getting Tori out. Meanwhile, Jasper fought off the doctor. Tori was finally sent free, and with one last kick, Jasper knocked out the Doctor... until he got back up, jumped out the window, and somehow got a space shuttle to fly up into the air.
Tori returned home, and stayed with her parents until she was old enough to move out. She was traumatized...and what was once a happy cheerful girl, into a angry, sad teenager. She isn't depressed, but thinks about that moment everyday.
But a few months after the doctor escaped,when Tori just returned home, turns out he created an actual life-form named idea1F4, But now named Adia, Tori's worst enemy. Adia killed her own maker, but Tori didn't care. It was just Adia now. (how Adia and the doctor were made together will be revealed soon)
Tori met some friends along in her journey to adulthood, Raven the dragon, a fierce, cocky, happy dragon; Scotty, a lovable, sweet-talking, fun hedgehog; Jackson, a tough, strong, funny and kind hedgehog, and Chance, the musical, sweet, heart-warming Hedge-cat. Other's were Comet, Ace, Genesis, and her one and only rival Kaylan, who have met in a complicated and powerful way. Tori was the one who helped her control her power, which is to create small or huge tornadoes, but helping her also gave her a giant scar on her leg. (in reference) Tori now explores the world, battles her friends, rivals, and enemies, and helps out in secret missions with Jackson the hedgehog.

The island itself was as unique as its inhabitants. It did not originate from the Cretaceous rock of the sea bottom. It did not even originate from this world. It was in fact part of another dimension, parallel to ours, that was leaking into our world. Although the island could not be seen by the eyes of other beings, Chimeras could sense it and always returned there to breed. Being immortal and almost impossible to be killed, this cycle could go on for ever.

I saw a friend doing this and decided to give it a shot. I limited it only to animated shows because that's kind of what my friend did. Now, allow me to give a short explanation for why everything is here. Other shows that didn't make it were: The Loony Tunes Show (Speedy Gonzales), The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Grim), and Yu-Gi-Oh (Marik Ishtar). Yes, I like listing my favourite characters. Hehe~

10: Johnny Test
Favourite Character(s) : Dark Vegan
I just think the show is random and humerous. I mean, it seems like every day Johnny's sisters are coming up with new stuff for him to test and you think they would figure out by now that it's just not working, but they never do. It's very amusing for that sense. Also, they made fun of Twilight, which was nice. They also had a Pokemon referenced episode, which was funny.

9. Dragons: Riders of Berk
Favourite Character(s) : Hiccup, Toothless
The movie was spectacular to begin with, but unfortunately I've seen a lot of amazing movies made into not very satisfactory cartoons. *coughMonstersVSAlienscough* But I think this show does a good job at continuing the movie sort of where it left off. It helps you learn more about their society and the other dragons and even teaches you some things about the characters. It actually improves upon the movie.

8. Ben 10
Favourite Character(s) : Ben
Here is a show that they should've ended while they still had the chance. The originals were amazing. I liked the aliens, there didn't appear to be too much going on, and the storyline was well developed. All these new variations of the show are turning it into utter garbage. I mean, I shouldn't use my space to rant, but have you seen the newer Ben 10 series? It's just like, wtf were they thinking.

7. Avatar: The Last Airbender
Favourite Character(s) : Zuko
This is another show alongside Ben 10 that they should've ended while they still had the chance. I liked the original. It had a well developed storyline that was fun and easy to follow, but still complex enough to keep you guessing. It had very unique animal combinations. Plus, the ability to bend the elements is awesome. However, I never liked that "Legend of Korra" or however you spell it, crap. It's just what I said. Crap.

6. Adventure Time
Favourite Character(s) : Ice King, Abadeer, Marceline
I know that at times this show can seem a trifle on the childish side and for the longest time, I myself didn't like it. I gave it a chance once when watching the Fiona and Cake special and I ended up liking it. When I started getting to know the characters, especially the Vampiric ones, I found myself falling in love with the show. It's randomness is what always keeps you on your toes. You never know just what'll happen in this randomness of a show.

5. Teen Titans
Favourite Character(s) : Slade, Robin, Raven
This is a show that I found myself loving from the moment I watched the first episode. I remember those countless nights up staying up until midnight just so I could watch another episode of the show, even if I had seen the episode a thousand times before. It's just really a good show and the whole Slade storyline is much better then the classic hero/villain relationship. Now, I must express some sadness for Teen Titans Go! I give them credits for trying to bring the show back, but it just isn't the same. They took away the serious nature of the show and turned it into a comedy. I'm sorry. I just don't like it.

4. The Secret Saturdays
Favourite Character(s) : Argost
Here's a show that some of you might not know. This was another show that I would stay up extremely late just to watch an episode of. The creatures in this show are even more unique then some of Avatar's animals and I really like the storyline. I immediately fell in love with Argost the first time I saw him. I really liked the whole idea of the cryptids and the twist ending just added to the awesomeness of it. I'm almost sad that it's been over for a long time.

3. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Favourite Character(s) : Discord, Fluttershy, Big Macintosh
Here's another show that can seem childish at times. I thank my many friends on DA for getting me interested in such an adorable show. The ponies are cute and inspirational. I feel like anyone can be a good person if they put effort to it. It actually has a really good storyline that I feel like any person of any age can get into. That's the beauty of MLP. Anyone can get into it, not just little kids or adults. Anyone.

2. Invader Zim
Favourite Character(s) : Almighty Tallest Red, Almighty Tallest Purple
This brings out a small love for aliens that I didn't always used to harbor. The Irken race are just so unique looking and it really makes for a good show. While the storyline is, at times, not the best, the episodes are humerous and you can, for the most part, start watching anywhere in the series. It just doesn't matter. The show has many humerous moments that make for good comedy relief.

Favourite Character(s) : Vlad Masters, Walker
I don't care what I say or what I obsess in. Danny Phantom will always be the number one show for me. As someone who loves ghosts, I absolutely adore a show that puts more perspective on them and charaecterizes them, showing that each and every ghost is a unique soul. There are some funny moment, but there are also serious moments that make a good storyline almost every episode. The variety of ghosts is nice too. It isn't like Danny is fighting the same ghost every episode. It varies. It's another show I was sad to see go. ]]>

I was watching Mulan with my nieces, and decided to draw a girl and a dragon (I know, doesn't at all look like anything from Mulan, but that's when I drew it!). The idea stuck w/ me, and for a while I would occasionally sketch out something more on that theme--I had kind of a weird dystopian post apocalyptic emo fantasy webcomic idea, probably inspired by some of the horribleness my sister and nieces were having to deal with in their lives at the time. May one day be able to pull together a clear enough idea to return to this and polish things up, but for now I've put it off indefinitely. ]]>

And... ye gods I'm old.

Obviously I had no shame them days, the first of the first attempts are traced straight from Marvel art - a couple of Hulk pieces ripped off, and then I think the other is a trace of Razorback from an early Spiderman story. Had a nose back in them days too, for a little while at least 'til Drofaels bit it off for a laugh.

The shamelessness continued, as I simply re-used exactly the same poses on the next outing; apparently came across pointilism next, bloody Seurat's got a lot to answer for!

Next up, a brief phase of funny helmets, and then the after-effects of a long walk through Wyrdworld's biggest desert, namely having all his skin burned off.

...fortunately it grew back again in time for the next portrait-sitting. A family-scene next, sort of, with snuurg accompanied by his trusty dragon-mount Nucathe - affectionately known as 'Nuke'. And then more or less up to date - even though there's at least a decade since I drew it - the piece that's furnished my avatar and whatever other needful bits of iconography have been required.

Short info:
Chiwen would do nothing all day but stand upon the roof and stare into the distance. The Dragon King, upon seeing his son, though it was no way for the son of a dragon king to behave. So, he gave his son the job of being the sentinel on roof tops, searching for potential danger.

Follow up:
The 2nd son whose short body is often seen guarding rooftops. He enjoys looking at the scenery and his expertise lies in the control of water. With him guarding the rooftops, there will never be any danger of fire. Chiwen is usually called upon by palaces and temples to prevent and protect against fires. He can be seen on the imperial building admiring the horizon at night.

Fun Facts:
-His 'true form' as a dragon consists of his features being a fish-like, 'hornless' dragon with a very truncated body and large, wide mouth.
-Has hawk-like eyesight.
-He's actually older than he looks.
-Carefree most of the time.
-When he's determained to do something, he will do so.
-Has a mellow side to him if he likes you enough to show it.
