My house is a way smaller version of hers, so sadly it isn't as crisp, but it's a house none the less.

I had a problem with my new yellow I got... it smudges everywhere! I constantly had to keep fixing that damn moon!

And our next animal in the Animal-ipstick Series (clever name, right? It's a playoff of the word "animalistic", lol) is the fox! I did some gradient with the paint on this one otherwise it would've looked weird. I put a nose on him too, something I forgot to do with the other animals. The tail was the hardest part to do. I really need some smaller brushes...

**EDIT: Since everyone's been asking, I used old halloween face paint to do all my Animal-ipsticks. I've had it since I was little, so I don't remember where my famliy got it, and I'm sure it's out of stock by now.

What I Used

Alright since I did this make-up a while ago I'm not really sure of all the colors and brands i used but i'll do my best to remember.

Ok so I used many different colors and brands.
*Some brands are no name so just replace those with any similar color you might have.

First I used a no name brand white cream base all over my eye so the make-up would stick better.

these are all the blues i can remember that I used
The darkest blue is
L'oreal HIP -roaring 234
The light blue under my eye is
Maybelline - turquoise jewel 155
The blue on top of my eye is a mix of
Rimmel stir it up - as if 500
Maybelline - turquoise jewel 155
Revlon|matte - venetian blue 005
And a very light blue mate no name brand. (any light matte blue will do)

Ok greens are
Rimmel EYEFUL eyeglistener stick - stand out 500
make sure to put this a little above your crease and blend.

Then over top is
Covergirl - firecracker 100
L’Oreal HIP - riotous 328
Then the darker green to the left
Is CoverGirl - kaboom kelly 430
Over top of all the green is a light shimmer called
Vasanti - emerald city

Alright now the yellow is
L’Oreal HIP - flamboyant 538
And the duller yellow is
Covergirl -dazzling metallic’s 119
Those yellows also go around the brown tear drop shapes

Now, the brown I used is a
no name brand pencil stick - draw 4 tear drop like shapes.
(you can replace the no name brands for any brown its not that important)
Then a no name brand creamy simmer bronze over top

After you have the shape you like take a q-tip and make a circle in the middle of the brown removing most of the color.
then take the
Rimmel EYEFUL eyeglistener stick - stand out 500
And put it over top of the circle you just made. Then use
Covergirl green firecracker 100 over top of that.
Then draw with a black liquid eyeliner in the middle of the green a face down pacman like shape.
When the liquid eyeliner is dry take the blue
L’Oreal HIP -roaring 234 and carefully go over top of it.
the really bright green in the middle is a no name liquid liner.

To finish,
black eyeliner pencil under the eye, flick down and out at the tear ducks then mascara

and your done

Anyways, a CRAP load of you have been asking me about Harry Potter annnnd I finally gave in! I'd actually been meaning to do a Harry Potter one for quite some time, but I never got around to doing it. I suppose with the final movie coming out, it's the perfect time!

Now, this isn't a design of the final movie, this is of the FIRST movie. It's the scene where they're in the boats coming up to Hogwarts!

a stencil i made of my niece, blowing stars into the sky.

i suppose i should explain this more thoroughly. it's all done with a dual action airbrush and acrylic paints. it took around 3 hours in total, including the times i had to go back and try to fix parts i screwed up on. it's all freehand except for the girl and a couple of the star twinkle-y things. the bottoms of the arms were kind of strange, so i photoshopped them to the best of my ability, so if you see weird blotchy things on the arms, that's a tribute to my horrible photoshop skills.

haha this was my final for airbrushing in school and i only got 87.5% (which is pretty darn low if you go to makeup school). in the breakdown, the concept and design was the worst marked out of everything! so all this attention is ridiculously surprising and it makes me very happy. i'm totally telling my teacher how awesome i am and i'm setting up a print account right now, so you know, i'll totally take your money if i can figure out how the hell to do this.

Holy crap it's Mario! I'm actually in the works of doing a Mario themed photo shoot with a photographer, so I'm testing out different designs. I don't think I'll be using this one though. It took way too long and the details are way too tiny. The model's eyes are tiny compared to my drag queen shaped eyes!

Ok, so we've got the coin counter, those hill things, the piranha plant, the ? box, a Goomba, step things with coins, Bullet Bill, an odd looking Mario in the tanooki suit (with wiggling tail), a mushroom, Koopa Troopa, Yoshi, the flag pole and finally the castle! Ahhh so many tiny little things. I'm quite proud of that Yoshi. Frig, that was grossly tiny.

On a side note, I need your help guys! I've dropped down to 6th place in the Makeupbee/Sugarpill contest. It would mean the world to me if you voted for me! [link] A "like" is a vote!

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash nails

Lots of people have been asking me to try more My Little Pony nails, so while I was watching it last night I had a go at these.

I went for a theme-y style rather than just the whole pony (like I tried before with Fluttershy - [link]). I put Rainbow Dash's eye/mane on the thumb, her tail on the index finger, a wing on the middle finger, her cutie mark on the ring finger and the sky/clouds on the little finger

Have promised my friend that I'll try some Derpy Hooves ones soon, but really wanted to use lots of different colours this time and Rainbow Dash was perfect for that

I swear there is NO editing here! (well, I won't lie, I cut the image to make it square).
I was preparing myself for a photoshoot, and after I painted one eye and put one of the contact lenses, I was like, 'woah, makes a difference'. Had never really realized until now. Pale perfect skin, blue feline eye, big lips. And then freckled face, brown eye, no eyelashes.
Bam, cleaned my right side and took a picture. Sweet.

Using more of my friend's fake grass, as grass this time

Also, he told me about this craft putty (which I know I am going to LOVE) that is like a plasticine that hardens after a bit. I looked all over for it and finally found it in a little shop up the road (last place I'd look). Anyway, started practicing with it by making little mushrooms and this is the result

Really like how these turned out (although my Mom said they made her feel sick, haha) and can't wait to play with the putty some more. Although, I had loads of ideas when I heard about it and now I've gone blank...

Anyway, don't step in to the toadstool ring or the fairies will take you awaaaayyy... x

Positive nature:Cancers have forgiving natures, normally know a
problem before someone open their mouths.
They are effected greatly by the moon and water.
Very nurturing, mother like and often shrewd.
Negative Nature: Sometimes absorb others emotions
and are considered too clingy, moody, depressive and even devious.
Considered the Yin ind the astrology world and are very unstable,
emotional wise. Like to moon as some compares.

I tried to combine the ruby colors with the dark colors of the moon an the sea greens cause some people said it would be cool in dark red and some wanted it with sea greens and greys like the moon and night colors.
I used red cause Ruby is the birthstone for July
and crab colored shell cause its a water sign

I'm very incredibly proud of this, even though I can see the errors in it, & it is easily the most time consuming project I have done in over a year.

Steampunk Bee FTW. PS) Yes, I know putting gears on something does not steampunk make... but jeemuz, I made it, I can call it a frikkin pumpkin if I want to.

I was so afraid of messing this one up, because any section needing cleaned up would also need the honeycombs redone... so I took my sweet azz time.

Final Assessment in my Cinemagraphic course.

EDIT: holy lskjfdsklf i can't believe how much this picture spread in the last 24 hours!! Thank you all so much for the awesome hilarious comments and compliments!! (I would love to reply to you all individually but i just don't have the time right now, but i read everyone comment!) I really appreciate them! Also thank you to lions-nd-yellocake for suggesting me as a Daily Deviation and JZino for featuring my work!! (don't know how to make their names a link..)

Now i had a few questions from people about the piece.

It was all one piece made soley from latex (in the future i would do it as 2 or more pieces for smoother application) even the bones and hands (not intestines) were latex.

I used Pros-aide to apply the piece and latex to help hide the seams.

There was lots of fake blood (i don't know the brand it's whatever my class carried) fake pus and KY Jelly (that explains the shine).

It was meant for just a photo shot, it wasn't very flexible but that was due to the fact that it was quite hollow underneath the piece and may have been more flexible if i chose another material to use instead of latex which tends to not work well with movement (i've noticed anyway).

I chose this piece because what can i say.. i fricken love gorey crap!

I made this a year and a half ago when i finished my course, i was 19 at the time (nearly 21 now) and i'm female! also i'm obviously not an expert on human anatomy.. so i probably got a lot of things wrong with this piece but it's how you learn right?

Sorry I haven't posted anything in so long. It's been one hectic summer. I have a job now, so I'll be pretty busy during the day. But some good news is that I have lots of new pics to upload from photography class this past year. Hope you'll all enjoy them.

This is a bonus Animal-ipstick I did for a photo assignment. It's Pikachu! Everyone in class loooved this one. My final project was a total of 20 photos of anything I wanted. Mine is sort of a typology, but the only consistent element are my lips.

Yakuza bodypaint I

I was recently painted up by Master Body Painter Nick Wolfe [link] We've been friends for years but never had the chance to collaborate before now. Nick suggested something Asian inspired and I blurted out "Yakuza tattoo!" and the idea for this theme was born!

Nick did the painting in 4 and a half hours, using Diamond FX paint. He looked up the kanjis for "Dragon Queen" and painted them as well.
For those who don't take the time to read my Profile info, yes I am the model in these images.
I did the face makeup and hair, inspired by traditional Japanese Geisha, and modernized. I also bought traditional Japanese hair pins, and the over kimono was made by me, originally for my XXXHolic cosplay. I love being able to re-use costume parts haha.
