Im not sure, but its ugly, so Im glad Im rid of it. I made the Mucha thing intended as a pendant, but it got botched, and here it has found another purpose.

Barcelona asked me if I would make a small
painting for one of his nieces, a young teenager
who was coming to visit him from Paris.

I said no.

I'd never made anything for children or very
young people and I had no idea how to
go about it. He said the girl likes colourful
pictures of just about anything and would I please

give it a try?

I finally gave in and had such fun that I ended up
making a whole series of watercolours and collage
on hand-made paper. I had to mail the commissioned
work to my friend in such a hurry that I didn't even
scan it before parting from it. The girl promised she
would send me a photograph. Sometime...

Now I am posting some of the works I made after
delivering the commission. Don't be hard judging them,
I still don't know anything about art for the young.

In spite of that, I hope you'll like them

Last December a French friend who lives in
Barcelona asked me if I would make a small
painting for one of his nieces, a young teenager
who was coming to visit him from Paris.

I said no.

I'd never made anything for children or very
young people and I had no idea how to
go about it. He said the girl likes colourful
pictures of just about anything and would I please

Now I am posting some of the works I made after
delivering the commission. Don't be hard judging them,
I still don't know anything about art for the young.

In spite of that, I hope you'll like them

I think with my next collages I would need to design a better character/dress, perhaps something original, that would be better suited for this medium because the feathers on the shoulder look gorgeous on the real Cecil Beaton dress, which was absolutely stunning on Leslie Caron, but here in this collage it looks very silly.
