Done with a 4B graphite pencil on A3 paper, it took approximately 70 hours over the course of 8 days. (re-upload)

I had two weeks where I could do nothing but this, and that's exactly what I did! It completely reversed my sleeping pattern so I am now 100% nocturnal. Hope you like it

Raising the pastel challenge: Golden liquids

The breath-taking image [link] by the talented aoao2 inspired this next level of challenge. Polychromous, Unison and Rembrandt hard pastels on toned Colourfix Suede paper.
(I changed the proportions a bit to fit the half sheet of of my "shiny" new Colourfix Suede paper.)

This bite proved to be more than I could chew (let alone swallow). Frustrated as much with my own lack of skill with unruly fat pastel sticks as with Colourfix Suede paper's inability to hold more than 1.5 layers of pastel despite its mouthwatering texture, I abandoned this painting about 10 times. I even started re-doing it in coloured pencil on the same paper, only to run into the same maddening limitation of 1.5 layers of colour.

Then came the challenge of blending... Yeah.

Anyway... More than 2 month later of stop-and-go, here's where I drew the line and called it quits.

P.S. I should just get used to my printer doing its own thing... the colours I tried to match printed out WAY darker and more intense than the original: [link]

Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee, after years of hiding from the Empire, can celebrate a new age of freedom. The beauty of this piece is that it can be interpreted in whatever way you choose. Are you a Barrissoka fan? You can rejoice for them as a couple, and that their kids, Raydin Offee and Nyssa Tano, will grow up in a new Republic. Not a Barrissoka fan? You can still rejoice since their husbands will be coming home from the successful battle of Endor. Raydin and Nyssa will get to see their Dads very soon. Who are the fathers? I leave that to your imagination!

This piece with Ahsoka and Barriss reminds me a little of the movie "Cloud Atlas". It's a Wonderful film where Tom Hanks and Halle Berry and others live and are reincarnated in 6 different time eras, living different lives but all connected by fate, all of them struggling against a form of slavery and oppression. These two characters, similarly, have lived multiple lives, in many stories, and struggle against oppression. I've seen artists like Raikoh-Illust present them as high school students, Tourbillon-da portraying light hearted pairings, Sonic Clone with a redemption piece, etc. I've read fiction with trials and tribulations, revenge, redemption, etc. There are many incarnations, many struggles, and I imagine David Filoni will have an incarnation of them to tell as well in his new show.

I think of this as a sort of final incarnation, much like Tom and Halle's characters finally meet once more and defeat evil and tyranny in a far future. Like In the final segment of "Cloud Atlas", this is a final scene of a final episode, where Ahsoka and Barriss can look up into the night sky, smile, and say "We Made It." Enjoy!

_{Chaos...absolute chaos.
How long has it been since the battle started? Days? Weeks? Moons? Swiftbreeze didn't know...but he wasn't sure if he even wanted to find out.

...Blood.

There was blood...everywhere. And battered, almost unrecognizable pelts fell onto the scarlet-stained grass like rain fell from the sky above. So many cats...who was who? How were the rest of his clanmates coping? We're they in trouble? Injured? ...Dead? So many questions yet to be answered...but this tabby couldn't worry right now. He had a war to end.

With an outraged roar, he lunged towards the first cat his piercing blue gaze rested on. An unsuspecting, dark gray-blue tom with darker tabby stripes. A surprised screech filled the air as his razor sharp claws connected with the stranger's body, and Swiftbreeze shifted his weight forward so that the two of them were rolling across the grass in a heap of teeth and claws.

"Get off of me ya fox-heart!" snarled the SnowClanner as he scored his claws down Swiftbreeze's cheek. Pain immediately blossomed on his face, and he clenched his teeth as warm liquid trickled down his fur. "You should've known this battle was coming the day you stole our territory!"
His weird scent completely encased the warriors senses, causing him to shake his head in confusion, and with a grunt the gray-blue tom managed to shove him off and into a nearby tree.

Pain splintered up the DawnClan cat's spine as his back hit the sharp bark of the tree's trunk, and he managed to look up just in time to see outstretched front claws reach for the sides of his neck.
Unbearable pain flared like a roaring fire throughout his entire body as the warrior's blood-stained claws tore at the large scar across his left shoulder.

Swiftbreeze's gaze immediately turned a hazy red.

With an ear-splitting screech the brown tabby slammed his claws across the intruder's face, and narrowed his eyes as a satisfying scream of pain filled his ears. The warrior then flung the stranger onto the tree he was just leaning against, and pinned him there, his front claws digging deeply into his pelt. Gripping his shoulders, the sleek brown-pelted tom bared his teeth in a snarl, and all his senses began to numb as he locked his sky-blue eyes with the tom's wide blue gaze.

This was his chance.
he was going to teach this snow-covered piece of badger dung not to mess with his clan, EVER again. All the anger that he had stored up inside his chest...all the pain that he had to face throughout his life, was about to be unleashed in those few heartbeats.

A sudden yowl froze Swiftbreeze in his tracks, and with a gasp of pain, he felt needle-sharp claws tear into his spine. "GET OFF OF HIM!" screeched the voice of a she-cat, ripping out more brown blood-stained tufts of fur in the process. A savage growling suddenly filled the air, and Swiftbreeze shoved the tom away from him, spinning around and blindly lashing out at the unknown she-cat.
'Was that...was that him growling? It sounded so unfamiliar...'

With a horrible ripping sound, his claws tore at her-...

...at h-her...her...

Swiftbreeze felt his eyes widen in shock, her blood splattering his face as everything around him moved in slow motion. The she-cat...the...apprentice...stared back at him, with blood completely covering her fur...dripping out of her mouth and...

Her neck.

"BRINDLEPAW!" screamed the tom behind him, horror clear in his voice.
So that was her name...Brindlepaw...

The once brown-and-white pelted apprentice stared back at the DawnClan tom blankly, a sad expression on her face.
And just like that...she crumpled to the floor like a piece of prey...her eyes staring dully at the ground as blood pooled around her from her open neck.

She was dead.
And he...he killed her.}

Tuesday was my step daughters 11th Birthday
So as a suprise for her I drew this (she loves Dobby ) I was a little late though (darn my slow drawing skills ) so it was on wensday she got it

I framed it and left it on her bed for when she got home (then I had to avoid the death hug!)

I am so proud of this!!! I though the hand would be difficult (and it was ) but THOSE FEET!!!! they nearly killed me!

My fave part is the sacking near his neck though
Even my wife was prasing how proud she was of me

Summary of your character before they turned: Phoebe was a neuteral character from a fighting game called, Gallows. Its was plugged in 5 years after Fix It Felix Jr. They became most popular in a week. Some of the good guys from her game and outside convinced others in the Arcade she was a bad guy. She was treated horribly for that. She was left alone and started to become cold to people. Only 7 months after being plugged in, Litwak pulled the plug. The heartless made him think the game was glitching. She was the only one who made it out. Most characters thought it was her fault the game got unplugged and some of the “good guys” would pick fights with her. They made her an outcast in Game Central.

Summary of your character since they turned: Phoenix didn't noticed she turned at first. She can't remember much from being in her game when she was a somebody except escaping. She hangs around Game Central, sneaking into other games. She mainly does it for food and goes to places like Cooking Mama and Pacman. She glitches every now and then also. She just sits and watches the characters interact after closing from far. She gets jealous that she never had that and still really doesn't.

Summary of why they joined and who they seek revenge on: Becoming a “bad guy”, she was rejected, ignored, and beaten up. Things only got worse after turning. She has to find a way to get rid of the characters who put her through hell without getting their game unplugged. It wouldn't be fair to the innocent others.

Anything you want to add?: Pheonix will remain quiet until she gets to know someone. She won't talk or even look at them. She doesn't trust people right off the bat and will try to be “nasty” to get people away. People just need to knock down that protective walls of her's and see that she's actually pretty chill. She is surprised people talk to her some times and really just longs for a good friend.

(If I forgot anything, I'll ad it tomorrow. ^^)

As the Kusyuks -sargents of arms- prepared the kanov warriors for the assault to the ruined castle occupied by the Werewolves of the White Fang, Bogilla was tasked by Bog to take care of the silent half-werewolf girl Pumori, and veil for her safety that was coming.

While she moved along the column, holding the hand of little Pumori -who hadn't said a single word since the attack to the farm- she noticed, surprised, that some Kanov warriors, rather than preparing for battle, where preparing breakfast. If you can call breakfast smoked ham, cucumbers -and over all, beer-.

As she walked by, thinking how her own and Pumori's breakfast was only an old, dry and thought bread -so hard that could be used to Knock Out a troll!-, she noticed then, these weren't just some camp followers, or any warriors.

They where the personal guard of Burdovarr Kinslayer, one of the two Kanov chiefs who have assumed command of this campaign, and for their eccentric and wild looks, Bogilla assumed they where as well the Monster Hunters, these errant warriors dedicated to be professionals in fighting monsters and demons.

She tied to avoid to do eye contact with them, but she couldn't but notice, surprised, among the Kinslayer men and monsterhunters, a elven warrior woman...

But as the hostile eyes followed her -and Pumori-, she quickly walked away, looking for safety in this battle that aproaches.

Gunn Oddsdottir, Battleborn, drank from one sip her beer, while she checked that was easy to draw her sword from the sheat. Since she arrived from Mildred, in the Dark Forest, she have been among the Kanov of Polforia, building herself a reputation, for being able to drink and eat like any other Kanov, and as well, for her fighting ability, being an expert in dealing with monsters.

Specially werewolves, these filthy creatures she hated. So when Burdovarr the Kinslayer called his host, to join a campaign against the werewolves, she didn't doubted. It was the thrive of the Battlefield!

And Burdovarr Kinslayer wanted some experts monster-hunters when dealing with Werewolves, as it wasn't the same that to fight an army that these demons. And while Burdovarr was an excelent warrior, he was despreciable, as all the ones who kill their own family, and spill their own house's blood. But because of the same reason, the Kinslayer was a rich patron, so Gunn could buy some new clothes...

She had been wearing the old ones for too long.

"Time to form" said then one of the housecarls of the Kinslayer. "Let's go!"

Pumori of the White Fang and Gunn Oddsdottir are characters of *kanyiko . I really liked the re-design *la-ela did of the clothes of Gunn, so I drawed these this time for her. :3

Bogilla it's my character: As the kanov army rode to the Howling Keep, fortress of the White Fang, the dress she had wasn't the best to ride a horse, and the clothes where damaged... so she had to cutt-off a bit of the cloth. Bog helped her with the sewing. :3

So this will be in my AU definitely! Mara arives on Myrkr. I like that she worked for Karde and I liked Karde... so I kept that part... now STORY TIME 8D Note, Mara is 18, a year older than Luke and Leia.

Mara stepped off the Wild Karde and hung her goggles around her neck. She squinted as the planet’s sun blinded her green eyes momentarily. Karde chuckled at Mara’s response the sun. When her eyes readjusted she saw her new boss’ headquarters. A large metal and concrete compound surround by a forest of giant trees.

She looked around in awe at the place and grinned. After a year of freelancing and working with other mercenaries, she had a steady place to live and stay. She walked up the cargo ramp, dug into the ground. She was startled though when she felt something bump into her boots. She looked down to see one of Karde’s pet Vornskyr.

‘Why did I not sense that?’ Mara’s emerald eyes widened, scared.

“Now there are some things to warn you about,” Karde turned her attention. “Don’t go in there alone,” he pointed to the woods “Lot’s of dangerous wild Vornskyrs, they aren’t tame like my pets. But don’t worry about Sith or Jedi finding us, the Ysalamiri block out all force sensitivity”.

“What?” the teenager raised her red eyebrows slightly worried. How could she use her force abilities on Myrkr? She leaned against the steel crated and took off her black pilot gloves and ran her hands through her, partially braided fiery red hair and sighed. She smiled though at the same time because she would never be found by Luke and he would be safe, and she would be safe from Syndra Kolt. She scoffed though at the thought. ‘Syndra… more like Siri Kenobi…’

Karde pulled her attention back, “Welcome to Myrkr, Miss Jade”.

“Thanks Mr. Karde,” she nodded.

So yea... also I'm going with Siri as a mercenary... but I will not say why or when exactly! Lol trust me there is even more shocking things coming in the story... besides you all knew that I'm just putting a twist on the time line XD

Now... about this picture... took me TWO KRIFFIN DAYS! Took me awhile but I think this is one of my better proportioned pictures XD I still hate the right arm a little... or her left our right XD I'd like to think she lost her last guns when meeting Karde and she just gets new ones working for him... She does keep her lightsaber...

And I put a twist on the word renowned black catsuit. I aded stripes! And an under shirt kind of thing... she has knee boots and I like her belt and holsters thing... and I took away her uh... scarf-cape thingy... but she gets one later...

I always feel she'd mess around and braid her hair so it would all be in her face... IDK... it also looks nice XD

I am quite satisfied though with how it turned out! Again I'm REALLY working on my coloring! And I think I did a good job if I say so myself ;D

But seriously what do you think? I haven't drawn SW art ina while and I guess I'm sticking with more of my AU stuff XD Plus Mara Jade is my favorite all time characters! She just so amazing and epic (AND YES MARY SHE CAN KICK BLACK WIDOWS BUTT) <- yea I said that.
