I wanted to thank everyone who has admired my work.
I did not expect such a repercussion. I confess I am extremely happy.

This art was the result of 80 hours of work, divided into 20 days.
About diamonds that many people ask me where are the answer is as follows:
Are in their hearts, their minds and souls.
If my art reached them, then you are the diamonds Lucy.
This art was a small tribute to a song that inspires me a lot.

I'm developing a comic book-themed music, it will have the colors as vivid as this graffiti. I ask that they continue with me here on DA :

not sure if I put this in the right category or not, but here's the main part of the mural I worked on the other parts are two smaller illustrations.
This was done using Beat spray cans, and a black acrylic marker for the line art. This was my first time ever using spray cans, so I'm kinda proud of it.
The logo says "Grotta" which means something like "the cave" which is the name of the youth club I did this for. The logo was also designed by one of the members of that youth club.

^{Took me 5 1/2 hours to complete this!

As fun as this festival was, they weren't prepared for chalk artists, since it was their first time. We were drawing on asphalt (incredibly difficult...) so color saturation was weird and texture wise, its way too grainy. Also, they didn't have enough color choices for us and no back ups, so I ran out of colors for the seaweed half way, which is why the colors of the weeds are different. I was upset about that, but overall, I feel I did a pretty good job all things considered.

Thanks to for letting me use her incredible piece as a reference.

^{Well here it is, my piece from Friday's chalk art festival. I asked a few artists if I could draw their pieces, but decided to just stick with original concept art, and seeing as how Skyward Sword has such a beautiful art style, it seemed like the right choice.

Sadly, it's not my best work, and yet, some of the things learned from it make me feel like it is my best (aside from the hack job on the face).

Honestly, my excuse is that I pushed myself harder on this piece than anything else I'd done before. I worked from 8 - 5 with little to no breaks, and towards the end, it shows. I started on the shield, worked my way up and around, and did the face last. By then, I was burnt out. I'm quite upset about it, but at the same time, its my fault for not taking it easy. I was crunched for time though.

I am STILL sore from Friday, and I can barely walk (my legs, knees, back and wrist still throb with pain). It was still worth it though, I learned a lot from this piece, which is to be patient and picky with colors and blending, but doing means spending more time on my hands and knees, and they could NOT take any more by the end of the day.

Despite all that, everyone seemed to like it. I do say I'm quite proud of the shield and sword handle. Which is why they have special close ups. I was the only 'sponsered' artist at their chalk art festival, everyone else was first time chalk artists doing it for fun. There were some amazing pieces though!

I did get to meet some pretty awesome students over at the high school. Had a cool group that hung out with me and kept me company while I finished this. We talked about a lot of stuff, it was fun! Shout outs to and her boyfriend . They were so sweet!

TL;DR: It's not my best chalk art job, I admit, but I had fun anyway.

Painted on Jamaica Street Bristol in the Stokes Croft area. Dino skeleton is made up of buildings from around those parts. Bugger of a wall to paint - sucked up the paint. Glad of my trusty crew - Dones, Gim, Rich, Anthony and Chris of PRSC. Big up.

It was a proper full on stokes croft experience - shouting alchies,crack heads,casualty being filmed "next scene more blood and a real baby",man with his old chap out by screen one while we were eating our lunch and a big stinking dog/human turd on the street right by our scaff tower.

It's also worth noting that I am very scared of heights - was a few hairy moments on the top of the scaff tower.

Wolves are HARD to draw in chalk. This was quite the challenge, especially the fur, but I'm happy with how it turned out, especially since its one heck of a time to be drawing outer space for the first time!
