Hey guys,

Thought I'd check in again (yup... still alive...LOL). Man, it's been waaaay too long since I've done a drawing, this is actually an old drawing, like 5 months old... I drew this after SuperNova in Sydney and was hoping to get it signed by the one and only *ry-spirit for SMASH, got to meet in person at last, a very quiet but very awesome dude.

Unfortunately, I never got to go to SMASH so this remains unsigned T^T;; but I'm not too emotional about that. Don't wanna make him think I'm a stalker or something rofl.

But ANYWAAAAAYS.... Yea, Raichu is my favourite.

Tail has a long wire in it, while the lightning bolt part had index card in it for stability.

As with every raichu I've made, there were multiple bad words said to it and angry glares from me. Poor things

Glossed with 2 coats and touch ups. Hope you like it~

Raiden Custom Raichu Figurine

This is Raiden, the Custom Raichu Sculpture I was commissioned to make for *LavenderAzoth.

The sculpture is completely handmade out of polymer clay with metal armature for added strength, painted with matte and metallic acrylics. The necklace is real ball chain, with tiny 5mm long dog tags with Raiden hand painted on the front. The figurine is just under 2.5 inches tall including the tops of the headphones.

This was the most challenging commission I have gotten in a while, but Raichu is one of my favorite Pokemon as well, so I really put all my effort into this little guy. I tried to pick a pose that I thought matched the character's personality, but still did something unique with the tail, which was one of the hardest parts, I refuse to make thin pieces without armature, but it's so hard to do ropes! I am very happy with how he turned out personally and I hope I get more commissions for sculptures because I love having a big enough canvas to really like my creativity and skill run wild!

This Raichu was a Christmas present for a friend! I hope he likes it!

It is made from polymer clay and painted with acrylics. The eyes are glass which I also painted. I know raichu is a rodent pokemon. I just wanted to give it a cat face like the realistic pikachu. xD I think it looks better that way.

Why yes, I did get a tattoo of a pokemon on my leg. Why?

Why the hell not? This is my third tattoo, but I took the design (With permission) From the amazing Thanks so much for letting me use this design!

I've loved Pokemon ever since it came out, and have played most of the games (I just beat Platinum for the 3rd time. And yes, a Raichu was in my team :3 )

This is my third tattoo, and they are addicting. The other two are for my family, so i decided to get a tattoo for myself, and why not show the world how geeky i was?

Raichu is one of my favorite pokemon, plus he is a rodent of which I also adore.

It's still a little red in the picture because this is when i first got it done about a week or so ago. But i couldn't wait until it was fully healed to put it up, so you get this one :3

So yes. If you don't like it, i really don't care because I do, and its my body and I'll do what i want, hahaha.

This is my design for my Raichu form. I tried to keep the same style of markings i did with my Pikachu form, the scanner messed this up slightly by making it darker than it really is.

This was my first sculpture I made, and I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out!
I'm really looking forward to doing more sculptures with the same medium, and maybe experimenting a bit with fimo (never tried that one before), since it was recommended to me.

This one was made with super sculpey, hand-painted with acrylic paint, and glazed to finish. Wiring was used for the ears (which took forever to bend into place), as well as various other parts of the body to hold it in place (such as the arms, ears, tail, etc.)
I'd probably say that the wiring on the bottom of the ear and the inside the tail (to sturdy it) were the most time-consuming areas of this piece.

I feel like I've made like 15 of these, but...this is only the fourth one. >.>
No matter how many times I make Raichu, the tail always gives me the biggest pain in the @$$! It's like it's out to get me.
But! I tried something different with this one, and it turned out most fabulously I must say. I also found a way to get the wire in the tail to be nice to me too. So now, the thin tails on Raichu's and whatnot will look even better! ^.^

I was just sitting by my computer when I noticed something unusual. A rat-like thing scampered across my bedroom and escaped out of my bedroom window. It was mostly orangy-brown, but with yellow cheeks and a distinks thunderbolt tail. I quickly grabbed my sketch pad and pencil, and made a quick, but detailed sketch of what I just saw. Oddly enough it resembled a Pokemon...

I scanned in the picture. It looks a bit better on paper though.... the thumbnail looks nicer that the origninal sized picturte. It tuned out really nice -- the atonomy isn't too bad.

Jizo are represented in several different countries and can mean a variety of things, but their primary common myth is that Jizo is a Buddhist monk who has attained enlightenment but has stayed behind to help those who are still in need of guidance to reach heaven. Jizo, in Japan specifically, are revered as guides for travelers and as protectors of children; especially children who have died before their parents. In general the Jizo are a benevolent symbol of aide and comfort.

I've been making some Pokemon Jizo with their own little back story.

POKEMON MYTH:
There was once a talented sculptor. He knew well his craft and his skill was admired by many. His wife had been one of his many admirers and he loved his craft only second to her. When she was with child he spent many of his hours working on a single piece. While his wife spent many hours preparing a place for the child, he sought to sculpt his best work ever. This way his child would enter the world with the greatest gift he could offer. His put all his hopes and love for his unborn child into his work.

When the day came that his wife was to give birth, he was finally finished with his work. Her labor was long and painful. Even the most skilled doctors in the town could not save the child. The sculptor and his wife were devastated. The sculptor altered his masterpiece, moving its hands together so that it might always be praying for their child's protection. When he lay it beside the grave of his lost child the statue became a Pokemon. To this day, the area where the sculptor once lived makes Pokemon statues with their hands in prayer that are meant to protect the lost and guide them to safe paths.

The finished Lucario & Raichu piece, from 3 angles. :] I like how it turned out a lot. <3

As already stated, it's polymer clay with some copper wiring. I painted it with acrylic paint & gloss.

I suppose, it's a "physical" addition to the Lucario/Raichu series I'm doing with ^_^;

Also, this figure is incredibly small--it only stands about 2 inches tall!

I tried an art nouveau style. It's a bit plain, but I'm working on it. I really need to check out a book on the art nouveau style. It's pretty hard to portray the style based solely on looking up pictures on google.

I started this one a few days ago. One of my favorite pokemans, Raichu.

I'm not sure why the bottom of the image got a bit blurry and lightened. I'll have to see if I can get a better quality scan later.

Also, I still have pretty much no idea what I'm doing with these new markers xD

_{_{Hmm what to say..well for one I wasn't feeling very great but I felt the need to draw my desu chu Sammy as a Raichu and it turned out pretty good I'm satisfied with the result I got.

Yeah he has a cape as a Raichu he only has it as a Raichu though eue

Changed his stripes they now have the orange fur on the inside. For the Pikachu its the yellow fur on the inside so blah.

I didn't like the black on the ears so I changed it to brown.
