Kururu from Air Gear... of all the characters in there she's probably the most unique one.

used volumes 13 - 16 for reference.

volumes 13 -15 for her hair ( damn so hard to draw it the thing I like most in the design )

YAY~ first shot from my Kururu costume <3~~~
my French friends came to visit a German convention and we searched for something small to cosplay together and decided for Air Gear.
I totally love that series *_*~...originally I wanted to cosplay Simca, but since Lucioles fitted a lot better in that role, I changed to Kururu.
This is pretty much her civil outfit and most people always draw/cosplay it in black and white.But there is one colored artwork of her where you can see that it's PINK all over XD. So I made it PINK ....
Really hard to do was the WIG. The color is such a strange lavender-silver-grey-pink-pastel-mix XD and it was hard to find something that was somehow the right shade. Then my wig arrived and it was terribly thin. It was really a fight to style it a bit layered and spiky v.v...but I think it looks okay now.

More Kururu <3!!! LOVE for Air Gear

my French friends came to visit a German convention and we searched for something small to cosplay together and decided for Air Gear.
I totally love that series *_*~...originally I wanted to cosplay Simca, but since Lucioles fitted a lot better in that role, I changed to Kururu.

I was very happy to be invited as a judge in Belgium. It was a very interesting convention with a mix of anime/manga/sci-fi/movie/Tv-show themes! Also I had a lot of fun watching the competition. We saw many great costumes in Belgium ^.^.
I totally can recommend the convention

Well this costume was made for a lovely cosplay group together with my 3 great friends from France! I had a lot of fun with them together <3!

I now that some people do not like the "all pink" version of Kururu. I just found only one colored illustration of this outfit and there it was all pink, so I chose to use it as my reference. You can see it here -> [link]

I wanted to color something, but I was too lazy to draw something, so I used cute Kururu from OG's AWESOME manga Air Gear. (Don't know it? Go read it, now!)

I did some changes to her face, because... well, I kind of like it better this way. XD And she's blond because I think it suits her better, plus in real life she'd probably be blond anyway, so meh.

Turned out to be a good practice.

This wasn't meant to be a wallpaper at first, it was originally just the art work I was going to put on top of my Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 (that is why it has a large resolution). I liked a lot so I made it my wallpaper and decided to share it people.

I really wish I had the attention span long enough to vector my renders into better quality, but its fine this way too leaving the hand drawn look.

Kururu Sumeragi (皇杞枢, Sumeragi Kururu?) is the leader of Tool Toul To and the current Pledge Queen. Initially, she was a new member keen on becoming Ikki's Tuner. Although initially shy around Ikki, she becomes devoted to him after witnessing his anger over Simca's attack. She originally rebuilds the Wind Regalia for him, though it is stolen and given to Sora. She eventually becomes determinded to create the new Storm Regalia for him. The Pledge Regalia allows her to utilze the bodies of other tuners through the 'Infinite Scale', enabling them to build, repair, and tune ATs as quickly as the Pledge Queen.

Another manga colouring! This one's from Air Gear, my pet series when it comes to colouring - Ito Ogure's art is fantastic! This was a double page spread of Kururu fixing Ikki's ATs mid-jump/fall, in under three seconds. It's a great scene, and this page really called out to be coloured! The hardest part was editing out the text though, that is not something I will do again soon. PROBABLY.
