For the Let's Draw Sherock project on tumblr, (even though I dont actually have a tumblr...)

I've been working and looking at a lot of Gustav Klimt work in art class lately, and with this Sherlock theme... I was very much inspired The original piece by Klimt; [link]

I took this chance to experiement with textures here, as Klimt used many mediums in this work.

My thought process here was first enjoying the intimacy of the two figures, and their love for each other, seen in how they drape over themselves. Interpreting them into John and Sherlock added another layer of emotion for me, seeing the otp I love so much in such a manner. I've had the ideas in my head for days and I was desperate to sketch stuff ><
I've been having peacocks on the mind for the past week or so. I'm trying to find a zoo or animal park that's local and has peacocks. Beacuse I want to take a picture of one with my super camera.

Also, Cumberbatch/Sherlock/StarTrek has been stuck in my head too. The peacock issue and the sherlock ideas just clashed
Will be doing A LOT of art for this. Pealock has ginger hair and feathers, since I thought it would be more colourful and the fact that ginger haired Sherlock gets no love. ;.;
John is an aviator (Imperial eagle wings).
Had a thing for eyes in this head canon; Sherlock's tail eyes are actually used for seeing things. They're not real eyeballs or anything but it sort of gives a reason why his sight is invaluable to him (story spoilers)
Like normal peacocks, Sherlock can't fly very well at all, because of his 50 tone tail and stunted wings so John has to carry him when flying distances. He can fly up to trees and roof tops but he can't get very far and often crash lands (the tail isn't designed for flight so he'll be really unbalanced and ungraceful).
Also because of the long tail, people (including John and Sherlock himself) often walk or trip over it. And at some point John had enough and ties Sherlock's tail. I've had the ideas in my head for days and I was desperate to sketch stuff ><
I've been having peacocks on the mind for the past week or so. I'm trying to find a zoo or animal park that's local and has peacocks. Beacuse I want to take a picture of one with my super camera.

Also, Cumberbatch/Sherlock/StarTrek has been stuck in my head too. The peacock issue and the sherlock ideas just clashed
Will be doing A LOT of art for this. Pealock has ginger hair and feathers, since I thought it would be more colourful and the fact that ginger haired Sherlock gets no love. ;.;
John is an aviator (Imperial eagle wings).
Had a thing for eyes in this head canon; Sherlock's tail eyes are actually used for seeing things. They're not real eyeballs or anything but it sort of gives a reason why his sight is invaluable to him (story spoilers)
Like normal peacocks, Sherlock can't fly very well at all, because of his 50 tone tail and stunted wings so John has to carry him when flying distances. He can fly up to trees and roof tops but he can't get very far and often crash lands (the tail isn't designed for flight so he'll be really unbalanced and ungraceful).
Also because of the long tail, people (including John and Sherlock himself) often walk or trip over it. And at some point John had enough and ties Sherlock's tail. Ignore the extra writing that's not speech bubbles, that's the remnants of the Language Arts (basically English class, that's just what we call it at my school) classwork that this was originally doodled on. I erased most of it in Photoshop because honestly you don't really want to read about direct objects and indirect objects and transitive verbs and intransitive verbs and my musings on très beaucoup pommes-de-terre, do you? So yeah. Basically here's the second colored pencil doodle, it actually scanned a lot better than the previous one. More BBC Sherlock fanart because, like I said, it's all I have motivation for at the moment. ]]>

So, I had to improvise last minute and this is what I have :/ sorry. The actual deduction (Sherlock's clever moment) scene will be quite long and hopefully you will enjoy it Oh! And this is just in case you didn't know. The body was found in a 'for sale' house. Which (I think I mention it later) explains that he wants the body to be found (our villian that is not Sherlock ) I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. If you care to know. I'll start linking these to each other. There will be A LOT so bear with me :/ If you have questions please just ask! I love talking about this thing. I hope you can understand it but my mind is a complicated thing and some people have to tell me to stop for a moment and explain again.
