"Tahno stands under the spray of water under the shower head. He braces is frame with a hand against the wall and watches the water run down his frame and hair that falls past his face. He feels hollow, he feels empty, angry, like a shell of himself and exhausted. Korra tells him all the time that she loves him, but right now, he doesn't see anything in himself worth loving. He's a mess, he feels like he's falling apart at the seems and is barely hanging onto the thread that is holding it all together, tempted to just let it go, let everyone see all the nastiness, all the hatred and ugliness he feels on the inside. Would Korra still love him then? Would she find something worthwhile, something worth saving, something worth staying with him for? The more sinister side of him tells him 'No,if she knew what was good for her she would take one look and run for her life, which you are doing a damned fine job in ruining,' while a small sliver of hope screams 'Yes! She would still love you! Because she's seen the ugly side of you and still remains faithfully by your side and not only puts up with you but takes care of you in every way without you having to ask. Please don't push her away, you need her, you deserve to be happy, you deserve to have someone love you unconditionally, which she does. Don't listen to the other guy, don't give up, don't give her up. Because while you feel hollow, she makes you whole.'"

Speaking of talented artists, one of our sharp-eyed papa-angels snapped this shot of the illustrious illustrator Artguyjoe enjoying an adult beverage in the adults only Starfarer's Lounge in Paudraic's Getaway. Seems Artguyjoe, famous for his dazzeling depictions of the Angel Falls super sexy superset, is checking out the other-worldly scenery at the notorious watering hole. The acclaimed artist proved as elusive as his usual subjects by slipping away before we could ask if he had sampled some of the other adult entertainment available at Paudraic's.

Met up with *LAlight in Blackwater Falls State Park for some photo adventures. Our first stop was Elakala Falls, of which I have seen some amazing pictures. The usual path was blocked due to storm damage from the storm back in October (Hurrican Sandy) and there were downed trees all over the place (including the one seen in the photo).

But even with all the damage it was a great place and we managed to get down to the falls. After nearly falling into the water, I scrambled onto a rock with some very interesting puddles pooled on top and set up my tripod. Wanting to do something a little different than the shots I had seen before I focused on the puddles to give an interesting counter point to the falls in the background.

I recently went to visit my cousins up in Pittsburgh! While we were there we went to see Fallingwater. It was a lot prettier than thought it would be (don't be offended if you like it, but that style of architecture generally is just not my favorite....). Sadly, we weren't allowed to take pictures during the tour (I really wish we could have, I saw a million I would have loved to take!), so most of my pictures are flowers and the like (except for the pictures of Fallingwater, of course!).

I had an idea of something called 'The Mirrored Falls'
Which shows anybody who looks into the waterfall their opposite personality.
For example: Love Zapper and Lightning Love (human version)
were playing tag when Love Zapper turned to the falls to see a really creepy girl staring back at her.
She called Lightning Love to see what was happening.
At the same time, another creepy girl came.
They looked closer at the creepy girls in the falls, and realized they were
the evil versions of themselves! After they read about the falls, they went through
the water and entered an encountered world...

This is one of the salvaged images from one of my small cameras that was damaged in the fall I took the other day. I have four small cameras, three Vivitars 5100's and one Polaroid i1035, it was one of my Vivitars that got cracked when I fell into the water some 15 or more feet below. Some of the images on the SD card were corrupted but this one survived! In another image (sharp rocks at the bottom) you can see where I fell from.

(( I know I know. I should be working on my new OC Sexy In Da Pants, but I was listening to swan lake and these guys just came and kicked him out of my thoughts and made me work on them instead

But they're called Misty Lilies~ ; v ;

Few bits of info about them:
-They are quiet and peaceful creatures that like to avoid loud noises and conflict.
-Whenever confronted with a predator or any unwanted guest, they release a thick mist from the flower on their head and back to hide themselves in.
-They smell like lilies pfft.
-They usually sleep more in the morning, so they can soak up more sun for their petals and pads pfft. ; v ;
-They are usually more active at night and like to spend most of the night dancing on lakes. Dancing on lakes you ask? Wait does that mean?
Yes. That means. They can walk on water. Likejesuspffpttt
Pfft, but they can't stand on water for long, they have to keep constantly moving or they'll fall into the water. So they kind of "prance" on the water instead of walk pffft. U//v//U
-When they dance at night, their petals light up as somewhat of a special effect to add onto the "stage" pfft. (This is where the reason for soaking up sun in the morning comes into effect pfft U v U ).
-Some people like to watch them dance at night, which they are always open to an audience. Just so as long as the audience remains "quiet". ))

This is the first proper piece of luggage I've made yet, and it was a great experience. Not only was I working with leather, but also cutting out wood panels and working with metal.

I decided to make a suitcase because I didn't have a good one myself, and especially one that matched the rest of my wardrobe. So I took an old suitcase of *aelthwyns that was falling appart due to age and use, similar to this one here [link] I cut it appart and removed the frame and locking hardware. I used the frame as a starting point for making the pattern. So the width and height were determined by the frame, and I made it a similar depth to the original suitcase. One big difference is that the frame in my suitcase isn't in the middle of the trunk. I wanted only one handle so I offset the frame so that the handle could be centered. On the original there were two handles, one on each side of the centered frame.

I used hardboard (the same stuff clipboards are made out of) to add rigidity to the box, whereas the original had cardboard. I cut all that with a japanese saw I have, it makes a 1mm kerf, so I didn't worry about compensating for that. It was glued to the leather with a water based contact adhesive from Tandy. I've grown quite fond of this glue and used it throughout the case.
It's lined with a mission grain pig lining. The pig skin was actually quite stinky when I picked it up, so I aired it out on the balcony for a week and then also rolled it in baking soda for a few more days before finally rubbing it down with leather conditioner wich also helped remove some of the smell.
The partition in the middle is the same leather as the outside, just left undyed. It's backed by a thin lining leather with laminated card paper between the two to add a bit of support.
All the new hardware I added is solid brass but the original hardware from the previous suitcase is steel and brass plated steel. Most of the rivets I used were rapid rivets, but the ones on the spine (1" and 3/4" long) were solid brass rivets I had to peen over washers.
I used a strip of kangaroo leather to support the spine, along with the hardboard and a metal bar on the inside that ties the partition down.
As always, 100% hand sewn with Barbour's 6 cord Linen thread I dyed and waxed. While peening the rivets in the spine was the most difficult part of the case, the hardest seams were where the frame was attached to the body of the case.
To finish the leather I applied Medium Brown profesional waterstain from Tandy to color the leather, burnished it before it dried out completely and then rubbed in a leather conditioner from BeeNatural Leathercare and then put a coat of NeatsFoot oil ontop that.

Leather, brass and steel hardware, 100% Linen thread, 1/8" hardboard. 21"w x 14"t x 8"d. 14.5 lbs empty.
