Size: Around 8 inches tall.
Materials: Felt, embroidery thread, stuffing, hot glue, and yarn.
Time: Five days and nights.

I'll post more detailed pictures of them later because there's things you can't see here such as the Fourth Doctor's argyle sweater.

Finished just in time for Keycon 30 (May 17th-May19th, 2013).
I'll be making variations (Real Time!Six, Toe Tag!Eight, Raggedy Doctor, etc) and of course Hurt!Doctor at some point in the future.

It seemed like a good time to dust off this old piece and give it a bit of the metaphorical new paint. We used to be told that a Time Lord had thirteen lives. If that's still the case... could this be what it'll all look like before that fateful day on Trenzalore? (cue Cloister Bell)

A few people will probably take issue with where John Hurt's standing (or that he's included at all). I'm not pretending to know for sure- it's just the most logical place to put him based on what we know. If you want to tell me why I'm wrong and he's obviously the Valeyard, the Other, Paul McGann etc, there's already some good threads for that: [link] [link]

Also, please don't ask me for variants, higher-res versions, different wallpaper sizes, etc. I used to do that sort of thing, but rampant piracy of the old version kinda ruined that for everyone. Sorry.

I think I like Eleven here best. It's hard for me to draw Ten's hair. It's like drawing the sunset with a ballpoint pen. This is the first time I've drawn cartoony things like this and I want to do more. If you have any suggestions for characters, I'll try to draw them.

The Doctors are Magic

I got this idea from my friend s ponification of the 11 doctors. (Oh and 8th doctor is best doctor)

I drew several character correlations between the many personalities of The Doctor from doctor who and the Main cast of My Little pony Friendship is magic.

1. Rarity/Eighth doctor. Rarity is a classy and even romantic mare who has a taste for the finer things in life, but will show unwavering generosity for a friend in need. I found her personality matched Paul McGann's role as the doctor, he was romantic and fanciful and encouraged humans to enjoy life and pursue their destinies (He was psychic to) I can easily assume she would prefer his victorian ensamble to some of the 'fashionably unthinkable' outfits that the doctor wore.

2. Apple Jack/Third doctor. Applejack is a sturdy, constituted, honest and helpful mare who will finish a task no matter what even if it is her live at stake. I found she resembled the stubborn, physically powerful and tecky Third doctor played by Jon Pertwee

3. Fluttershy/Second Doctor. Fluttershy is a rather reserved pony who's kind and caring nature masks a hidden manipulative ability. Patrick Troughton's Second doctor was a perfect match, He would often play dumb and act like a short simple fellow playing his recorder, yet pulling strings behind the scenes.

4. Twilight Sparkle/Seventh Doctor. this one was a tough choice. Seeing as Twilight is a studious, calculative and curious character, at first I thought the First doctor was best for her as they both were primarily witty characters before anything else, but whereas the 1st doctor was old and wise, twilight is young and clumsy and still has her whole life to learn. I found Sylvester McCoy as the 7th doctor was the better match. He was the organized, forward thinking scientist, acting like a game master toward his enemies

5. Pinkie Pie/Fourth Doctor. Well this one was probably obvious what with Pinkie being, the explosive, eccentric, and ecstatic mare she is she fits the 4th doctor (played by Tom Baker) perfectly, he was the unusual doctor, he saw life with childlike enthusiasm and a good sense of humour, also like Pinkie he was non-combative offering even his worst of enemies Jelly babies to ease tesnion

6. Rainbowdash/Ninth Doctor. First I thought "well The 5ht doctor was pretty sporty, perfect for rainbowdash" then I realized that his reliance on others killed that notion, I chose the darker vengeful Christopher Eccleston Doctor, this doctor was ready to go as far as to use a gun against the last Dalek and had survived an awful war hiding his inner emotions and giving off a tough guy aura.

This was largely an opportunity for me to experiment with the unusual way ponies are shaded in the show, as well as a experimenting with the creation of backgrounds.

I'm open for suggestions on ways John Hurt's doctor could be made more fitting, particularly in terms of coat colour.

I don't know where I am. I don't know where I'm going or where I've been. I was born to save The Doctor, but The Doctor is safe now. I'm the Impossible Girl, and my story is done.

You know an episode is good when you have trouble choosing out of all the different scenes you want to draw out. That was of the most captivating episodes of anything I've seen. Delicious, delicious episode. I am just stunned. Completely, entirely, properly stunned. Steven Moffat has my absolute compliments.

Back to Clara, I'm very proud of her- you could say, I wanted to draw her very strong-- holding the Doctor up when he is on the battered brink of defeat; because that's what she does-- she saves the Doctor. I was just really, really intrigued by her role in all this. Because she is Souffle girl, she can do these things. She goes between the contaminated Time stream and the Doctor and she heals it. Its a very cool thing.

So, There's a lot more to say-- but I think I'll just sketch out some more scenes.

Originally wanted to do only 'stylish' Doctor but then... Action.
Those black tentacles? Vashta Nerada probably.

In some timeline, Twilight so loved time-travelling that the new Doctor took her as an assistant, her scars are gone and the eye is alright but she decided to keep hairstyle as a reminder (and she really likes it now). So... Now they are looking for adventures and this is one of them.

Haha. Yes. Showing off my inner nerd in a big way. This is Gallifreyan. As in circular Gallifreyan, an alphabet for Time Lords from Doctor Who. This alphabet was invented by a fan, but what the hey. It looks freakin awesome and I appreciate the artistic weirdness of writing in circles. This isn't exactly the traditional style (it's usually done as outlines, like can be drawn with a pencil), but when exactly have I been caught up on traditional?

For the record, no. This isn't a phrase or saying from the show. It's a random one that I made up this morning that has pretty obvious meaning to me personally (if you've glanced at my dA profile and can read this). Speaking of, [link] this link will take you to the original guide on circular Gallifreyan. For anyone out there that wants a crack at translating this, give it a shot. I'll leave some space here before revealing what it says.

Aaaaaand it says "Do not just speak; Resonate." Including punctuation! Was going to put "Don't", but that would have looked icky... Kinda like what "Do not" looks like anyway.
