A Lot of people call her Kid or Little Girl because they hardly know that she's a Princess even though she has the ability to make roses and vines come out of the ground and carry her over things that get in her way.
~Since Rouge is too young, she can't fully harness her powers yet. It's because of that, that her strict mother is disappointed in her~

Rouge age 13
Even though she's been acknowledged as a Princess by the citizens of the Kingdom, she has yet to impress her mother. Ever since she was ten, Rouge has been trying to get her mother's approval but to no avail. So much so that she began to give up on everything, falling into a stage of depression. And since she was fully able to harness her powers by then – but not control them – she often lost control and wreaked havoc on everyone in her worst moments.
~At ten, she got Daddy Long Legs her Dragon Fly, but even he couldn't stop her from her worst moment of depression~

Rouge age 18
At 17, a couple of years after the DD's were formed, Luna asked to get Rouge accepted into their little group of friends. After Deity and the girls cheered her up and Luna braided half of her hair – she stopped because she got tired, but rouge liked it anyways – and gave rouge her new due, she grew comfortable around them and got happier and promised to stay that way from then on, no matter what her mother thinks of her. That was when she told them about her wanting to be a fashion designer, and thy fully accepted her dreams, cheering her on and such. They were her first real friends.
~The DD's gave her Marionette for her 18th birthday when they got tired of being used as Manikins and having to stand still~

Rouge age 25
With a forever happy attitude on life, Rouge wet out into the world and ruled her kingdom proudly after her mother stepped down for medical reasons. Unlike her mother, she loved all of her citizens and cherished them and treated them all fairly, designing for the poor and helpless and caring for the abandoned young. She still keeps in touch with the DD's, but not as much as she would have pleased because of their separate Princess duties.
~Rouge designed all of the DD's final dresses and finally got the praise she deserved from her mother after a week into her rule~
