I can't stand working on this drawing anymore.. xd
Everything's a mess. I started this project right before this year's Valentine Day, and I originally intended to draw a whole scene, but boy, did I ever misjudge my abilities. This alone killed a lot of my time.

The lineart was done back then, with vectors, so I used it now, but it was so inconvenient to edit it, that's why I didn't invest much into folds and border hair. I couldn't bother finishing off the balloons, I drew one of the antler the wrong way, etc. etc.

BIG THANKS goes to dear for helping me a lot, especially for helping me fix the design.

This picture is dedicated to my second best pal Mike. I drew this earlier this year for Valentine's Day. Mike was feeling kinda down because he felt that everyone else had someone special in their lives & he didn't . Being single myself, I understood how he felt & wanted to cheer him up. I made this for him to remind him that somebody does care & that he will someday find that "special sombody."

Customized Nurse Teddybear

A little nurse companion to keep sane
I made the nurse hat and heart from felt. The heart is made from a really cool reptilian looking felt that I thought would look cool for a slightly anatomically correct heart.
I didn't think I'd be customizing another teddybear so soon...but I suddenly remembered that I'd bought another dollar store teddybear a long time ago. This was originally a valentines day teddybear that held a small heart shaped frame for photos. Inspired by that idea I came up with this.

"Rita Tamin's entire life has revolved around motoring. Her father is the owner of a successful car manufacturer; when asked back in school what she wanted to do when she grew up, she always said she wanted to be a racing driver; she took up karting when she was 8 years old and by the time she was 15 she was helping her father repair vintage cars.
As soon as she turned 17 she got her license. Several years afterwards she began training to become a professional racer. By the time Rita felt ready to test her skills on a proper track in late 2005, she'd already amassed a small collection of supercars, the centerpiece being a Bugatti Veyron - one of the earliest produced. She was very lucky that a racing course had been constructed in her home town six years before...

Rita entered the very last race of of the season. She didn't care that she couldn't win the tournament, she just wanted to see how things went. In short, she trounced the competition, including popular local figure Corky Koma (who was the winner of the tournament). She signed up for the next racing season immediately and was ultimately quite successful in it. Her problem was that she was very competitive and, for a while, a rather bad winner. Corky disapproved of her behaviour, leading to them becoming rivals. Things all changed midway through the season where, on the final lap of a race, Corky's attempt to overtake on the last corner went disastrously wrong and resulted in a very serious crash. Rita only won that race by convenient braking distances: as soon as she saw Corky hit the wall, she stopped to try and help him.

Corky's accident was rather sobering to Rita. She had thought she was only showing that she could race with the best and win, but realised she had let victory go to her head. The two ultimately decided to bury the hatchet, with Rita offering to pay for the repairs on Corky's beloved Talbot Tagora. They ultimately became very good friends and their attitude on the racetrack improved.

Corky began having trouble with his leg after the accident, which began affecting his driving. Eventually he felt he could no longer take part in the tournaments and retired at the end of 2008. After he disappeared the next day (and was mysteriously found dead several days later), Rita's relationship with the racetrack changed, especially with the realisation that a relative, long thought to be dead, had been watching over her..."

The last of the initial four designs, Rita's original look was once again one that I can no longer stand. She looked far too slutty, mainly because her original design was based on Mai Valentine from Yu-Gi-Oh. She isn't a character that I paid much attention to until I decided to redraw numerous existing characters - her appearance in the Air music video didn't do much to change her look, although it did change her face. Now she's been given much shorter, less messy hair and her outfit has been refined.
The lighting was very difficult, and to be honest it didn't quite turn out as I'd initially pictured.

The only ones who can deal with her demon powers are other demons and demon like creatures (alike Slenders, the Rake etc). That's why she's searching for her only friend, Thoras.

AU Wesker!Sheva

... So. A little over a week ago I was being my typical teenaged girl self and needed to draw a hunky guy, so I started sketching Chris Redfield, but in Jill Valentine's Resident Evil 5 outfit. Yes, the skintight one. Don't ask... But, from that one stupid sketch--which I will finish--and late-night brainstorming with my friend ([link], by the way, she's very talented.) I thought of an entire alternate RE universe where near-opposite characters switch places, but not, uh, clothes... Yup.

To me, I thought it natural to switch Wesker and Sheva. Sheva's ignored through the whole game by him, and he's a diva who's always in the spotlight, so Sheva demands REVENGE! (Which explains why Chris is her mind-controlled Jill, for who else would Wesker risk his life?) Sheva!Wesker will come eventually... don't worry.

But talking about the art now, I'm very pleased with the shading. Obviously I referenced some official art for Wesker, but I think it turned out great. Worked on it between spurts of doing French homework... Maybe someday I'll draw serious Resident Evil fanart...

The Traveling Gentleman: Chapter 8

Well, I'm sorry that it took me so long to update this book, but I wrote, like, about a thousand and five hundred words per day on this one, so, judging by that much, I'm actually rather impressed with myself that I managed to finish this in the amount of time that I did. I'll bet that you guys were all worried that I didn't feel like posting again, eh? Hahahah, if you did, then you most certainly thought wrong.

Oh, also, Varren would like to thank his wife, Spirit, for helping with the determination problems that he's been having. Lately, he hasn't necessarily been himself... Varren felt a bit lonely before, because he hadn't gotten to speak with Spirit, but the loneliness soon went away. He wasn't sure if she'd felt the same way, so he simply worried to himself if he was supposed to feel the way he was, or if he should be missing her, as she possibly was. Then he remembered something that I've been telling my girlfriend, Valentine. He remembered that he should let the thought of Spirit give him joy, and that he shouldn't let her memory put him through sorrow, worry, fear, or any negative emotion, for that matter. So, he found the determination he needed from this advice he gave to himself, and with newfound empowerment and vigor, he decided to work with me and participate in The Traveling Gentleman.
Cudos to you, Varren, for all the effort that you've put into helping me, and for reassuring yourself that you shouldn't let your wife hurt your emotions in any way. Bravo, gentleman. Bravo.
