Obsession is a scary scary thing. I noticed that I was drawing the characters I've been submitting off scale, and while they were still awesome pictures, it was DRIVING ME INSANE. So, this is my self designed Pony Guide, to help me draw ponies more accurately. If you have any suggestions for correcting or improving it, I would greatly appreciate it. Comments are requested, because I can't improve without active commentary! SAY STUFF! There, got it out of my system.

Ah, my pal has been sending me eps. of My Little Pony and I think I'm startin' ta like it. Heh heh, actually I remember playing with them WAY back in the day with my friend Lauren. It's silly and girly, but hey, what are pony cartoons for? Anyhow, I made my own MLP--an EVIL pony! MWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!! Maybe not evil... but definitely not your average pony. They symbol on his flank is an old alchemical one meaning Vitriol, which is an old greek name for iron sulphate-- a poisonous acid.

** I think I've decided to name him Oxys, which is ancient greek for "acid". Although I also like Thanatos, greek for "death". Maybe I'll give him a brother. I was gonna do a pirate one with skull and crossbones, too. How silly!

Meet Dream Catcher Pony, Navajo Pony, and Warrior Pony!
When I was little, I would play with the little pony dolls and watch the 'My Little Pony Tales' show.
When I graduated from high school, a friend gave me a little painted horse from a collection called The Trail of Painted Ponies (website here [link] ), as a graduation present. The horse figurine that she gave me was painted to look like the work of ancient American Indian cave paintings. This gift and the My Little Ponies gave me an idea to make some little ponies of my own. With American Indian designs, I came up with Dream Catcher Pony (on the bottom), Navajo Pony (in the middle) and Warrior Pony (on the top).

What i have done?

Well this is a creative experiment i guess. I was totally uninspired and i decided to mix up two things i like (Saint Seiya and MLP) and work with some names and designs. Obvioulsy is not an awesome and original stuff but i made it for fun so.

I´m even wondering why the hell i´m posting this if i know i would have maybe flamming comments from both Saint Seiya and MLP fandoms. Anyway, is not my intention to bash your beloved characters with "horrible my little pony style" or "starting to make MLP fanart??" as I can picture a comment in my head. This was made to have fun and just for that (that means that i´m doing this once).
Just imagine how hilarious and cute this guys could be wearing his battle clothes or making his attacks. Worth it!

So yeah this also means that any flamming comment will be hide or ignored.

Design details for those who are interested:

Seiya/ShootingStar: His Pegasus redundance is redundant.His cutie mark is literally what his name means in japanese, i cannot find a better way to name him in english. of course he can fly and attack with a meteor shower.

Shun/GalaxySparkle: His name means just "sparkle" in Japanese, that´s cause the first design had a cutie mark very symilar to the twilight Sparkle one of the original series, so i changed it for the Andromeda Nebula, it fits better anyway. And he is a unicorn, because is..the most magic??

Hyoga/DiamondDust: This character explains himself. Is by far the most symbolic of the characters. his Master Camus will be hard though. He could have a cutie mark very related to his pupil, maybe a jar with some snowflakes comming out. In fact is easy to imagine this pony making his Diamond Dust attack...just think about it, is hilarious.

Shiryu/FabledFall: don´t ask, this was a pain. I don´t wanted to put a dragon as a cutie mark cause that will mean that all characters should have his constellation as cutie mark and that will be lazy and not fun. I made a waterfall, and the dragon appears there when he burns his cosmo, as always. And yes he is the only earth pony here...is just me or you also want to brush that hair?

Ikki/FeatheryFlame: cause is a phoenix of course (this kinda explains itself too) i was thinking to make a little flame as a cutie mark, then i realize that phoenix tail feathers have that little flame shape, was perfect. the rest is deductable.

These lovely friends of mine asked me a few months ago to make some accessories for their My Little Pony cosplay group. - Twilight Sparkle - organized the group and had the idea of using my copyrighted fox ears without fur as unofficial pony ears. I am all about creativity and interpreting My Little Pony characters as humans is just too adorable. I was flattered that Mary thought my cosplay products would be suited for the MLP group! I had sculpted a unicorn horn anyway, based on customer demands, so I made horns for Rarity and Twilight as well, and my cosplay wings were used for Fluttershy's and Rainbow Dash's costumes too.

The girls each put together their costumes and they are:

No, I'm not being a heartless bitch, I'm introducing you to the real world. People are not going to candy coat everything they say. And trust me, people can say much worse things than what I said.

EDIT 4 (7/17/11): INB4 "everything's overrated". I didn't know how else to express my opinion. There you go. Also, in my opinion, not everything is overrated. Let me give you an example: Have YOU ever heard of a band called What Is This? Yeah, didn't think so.

My first stamp that I've uploaded. I know that it could look better, but I just wanted to get my point across soon. I didn't see any stamps that were like this, so I made it.

First of all, I want to say this, because I know that there are going to be people who jump to conclusions: I DO NOT HATE MY LITTLE PONY. I don't mind the show at all. Although I watched some episodes of it on YouTube and thought that it was nothing to get so hyped up about, I don't hate it. It's a good show for kids. Hell, even I used to be a MLP fan back in the 80's and early 90's when they had the first generation. Perfectly understandable, as I was a Pre-K/kindergarten age girl.

No. That's not what irks me.
It's the fandom, the fantards and the over obsessed 'bronies' that really rub me wrong.

All these memes that surround the show... like calling Princess Celestia "Trollestia", and quoting it all the time as if the show was a Newgrounds Flash movie and only served a purpose for the lulz. No. Just, no. I feel really sorry for the regular fans of the show that have to be placed in the same generalized group as those people.

Does everything have to be a pony? Seriously? First it was wolves, now it's ponies. EVERYTHING has been drawn a pony. There's Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead, even Grand Theft Auto ponies...and more. Even real people have been drawn as ponies. Enough is freaking enough. Another thing; do you really think that combining a children show with a M (17+) rated game is a good idea? That's like making Barney the Dinosaur the protagonist of a Saw movie.

And the FUCKING RULE 34. Seriously, I haven't seen a show with worse Rule 34 than this (except Pokemon). And Rainbow Dash isn't a lesbian; sorry to break it to you. I don't think Lauren Faust would do that intentionally. C'mon people, this is a kids' show! Grow up.

The show was made for kids to enjoy. Not for memes, and not for people to make porn of.

This show is attracting males 18 and over. I really have no problem with this in general. I'm glad they realize they have the freedom to like what they want. Not to mention that I still enjoy many cartoons (some MLP included), early Pokemon, early Digimon, etc. But when they start infecting kids with the adult images every time the kids try to look up something as simple as "my little pony", we've got problems.
That doesn't mean I would reccomend this show for anyone who isn't a girl under 12. Face it, MLP is very girly and is meant for that age group. To be honest, I think a lot - not all, mind you - of fans of this show are only interested because it's an internet meme. A very unfunny, overused one at that.
By the way, please try not to spam my inbox with comments like "PEOPLE CAN LIKE WHATEVER THEY WANT". I already know that, and I'm not saying that they can't. I don't need 20,000 people telling me this.

I'd like to also point out that many bronies hate the past generations. Not just dislike them, but they say things like "BURN GENERATION X", etc. Well, I've got news for you bronies. If it weren't for the older generations, your precious Friendship is Magic wouldn't exist.

Agree with my opinion? Feel free to use, fav, or comment how you like.
Disagree with my opinion? That's fine. I don't mind disagreement as long as you're mature about it.

A bit off topic: As a kid, my friends and I also enjoyed Littlest Pet Shop toys and cartoon. I hear that the same channel who makes MLP FIM is making a LPS cartoon. If THAT ever turns into a meme...DEARGODWHY.

More fanart in my psuedo-tribal style! I hadn't made much in this way since the Homestuck stuff, but I realized that the ponies from the new pony show would look really cool like this! So here's the mane six in tribal form!

I think the coolest part for me was choosing the right colors for this and messing around in Inkscape to get it just right, especially Rainbow Dash's (which was more difficult than I thought it's be, but it came out great!!)

Here's my pony persona that changes something about herself every few months. Because I'm never quite happy with it. Hmm...

Lines are all by me but then I grew increasingly pissed off at the mane and tail and made a friend help "swirl" it. Feathering is sexy.

And she has what they're calling a cutie mark nowadays... I just haven't decided which one I like so... blah.

Since I have been majorly supplying My Little Pony cosplayers all over the world this year with accessories to complete their costumes, it was a no-brainer to cosplay Rarity at some point myself. She is literally me in the pony-verse lol.

You can see group photos in my DA as well. Each girl created their costumes and I made the appropriate pony accessories for all of us.

Construction notes:
My Rarity dress was designed by me - inspired by the character and the show of course! I always thought of Rarity as the fashionista of the group, elegant with a sweet flair. I made a fully lined and boned halter dress and used a purple stretch velvet to make the trim and inserts. I handmade 3 tiers of ruffles from a sparkle organza by serging strips together, then hand pleating the ribbons into ruffles.
The back panel is the same purple velvet that my trim is made out of. It's my non-literal translation of a tail lol.
My cutie mark (3 diamond shapes) were rhinestone plate earrings taken apart and attached to the front of the dress. Rarity would definitely approve of blinged out diamond shapes . I found a sheer French silk with a diamond pattern on it (Hello, cutie mark shape!) and made a pattern for a bolero, then sewed it together as a little cover over the dress. My wig was a great shade but I wish I had had the time to properly style it. It's a bit flat for my taste. Overall it was so much fun to dress up in a fun little costume with friends.

I warned you.

I think the reason I found this so ungodly fun is because when I was a kid--lo these many moons ago--I loved my My Little Ponies, and used them to act out stories...but probably not the kind that the manufacturers would expect. The minds of children, as Stephen King once wrote, are like deep wells of clear water. And this is true enough, but there are monsters in those wells, and some of 'em have a bunch of eyes and really big teeth. So my stories were all full of blood and torture and death and forced marriages*, sort of Quentin Tarantino meets Marguerite Henry, all acted out via My Little Ponies, and their cohorts, the little scented rubber animals that came with the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. (I had no particular use for the dolls.)

Next to some of those stories, My Leper Pony's probably pretty tame, but it's still nice to return in some small way to that well of childhood creative depravity.

Technical stuff! Leperlot started life as a G3 Love-a-Belle, was painted sickly grey-green, re-tailed with the scurfiest, most diseased looking yarn I could find, and boils were sculpted from polymer clay and painted. Bandages were added with Rigid Wrap (a type of plaster cloth) painted, and sealed with acrylic matte medium. Bits of mane were glued in under the bandages, but I didn't do a full re-root. The "Unclean" sign is made from painted acid-free matboard, and I photoshopped together a parody of the packaging, printed in on matte heavyweight, and taped it in over the original. (Sadly, despite all the tape visible in the photos, there is still less than was on the original package. Hasbro likes their tape.)

This is my first alteration of a My Little Pony, and you don't want to know how much fun I had.

I will probably be e-baying Leperlot at some point in the near future--my journal'll have the details.

EDIT: I'm told by other members of the pony modding community that Hasbro apparently doesn't like box modifications, so wanting to respect their wishes there--after all, they furnished my depraved childhood adventures!--I'm removing the box art, just in case.

"My Little Pony" is a trademark of Hasbro. Leperlot and her packaging is an artistic parody and not affiliated with or sanctioned by the manufacturer.

*There is a reason this theme pops up so much in fan fiction, romance novels, and fairy tales. For some reason--and it may well be a girl thing--that's one of the toothy monsters in a lot of our wells.

Oh yeah
el primer dibujo que hice mezclando ponis con disney no me termino de convencer, pero este hace que me sienta mas que orgullosa de mostrarlo, me he empleado a saco con los detallitos y los efectos de luces.
No son adorables con esas sillitas? ains me encantan ^^ Jasmine nunca ha sido de mis princesas favoritas por la mala leche que gastaba, pero el ambiente de la pelicula molaba mucho y las canciones eran de lo mejorcito. Me encantan tal como han quedado, y si hago mas principes y princesas pony seguramente vuelva a hacerlos como a estos dos, cargados de detalles y quiza mas estilizados, mas tipo princesa celestia. No se por que pero me gusta mas ese tipo de pony, mas elegantes y femeninos.
Tengo ganas de probar a ponificar a Meg-Hercules y a Rapunzel-Flynn, ya veremos si tengo tiempo y/o ganas, porque los ponikemon me salen con mucha mas facilidad

the first drawing I made with Disney ponies mixing term to convince me, but this makes me feel more than proud to show it, I used to bag the little details and lighting effects.
They are adorable with those seats? ains ^ ^ I love Jasmine has never been my favorite princesses by bad milk spent, but the atmosphere of the movie was cool and the songs were much second to none. I love them as they have been, and if I pony princes and princesses most likely make them again as these two, packed with detail and perhaps more stylized, more princess type celestia. Do not know why but I like that type of pony, more elegant and feminine.
I have wanted to try ponificar Hercules and Meg-Rapunzel-Flynn, we'll see if I have time and / or desire, because I get ponikemon much more easily

I drew Rainbow Dash with the image of a Tomboy in mind.
So yes, she is Female in this artwork.

Twilight Sparkle is designed with no nationality; I simply like tan characters and I loved how she looked with the dark purple.

Applejack was a bit easy; the only thing I wanted to avoid was making her look skimpy as I've seen alot of people complain.

Rarity was the most fun to colour. I think I gave her a but too much of a mature outfit though;; a cute knee high skirt with some fashionable top probably would have gone better.

I had to include Spike! Hes a great addition to the show. I designed him with a old fairytale kind of look; Long sleeved shirt with fantasyish details and poofy shorts. I drew a fullbody reference for my friend since she wanted to draw him too.

Fluttershy is one of my favourite characters. The hairstyle is heavily inspired by *joodlez version of her but I still like to keep my own outfit.

And lastly I'm quite proud of my Pinkie Pie! Some people design her with tank tops and odd sandals... maybe its preference but I really don't like it on her haha xD Even if shes crazy I think she would still wear a cute outfit with oversized sleeves.

Let me make clear that I am not affiliated with McDonalds, Hasbro or any of those in any way.

Remember that My Little Pony game on McDonald's "Happy Studio" website? No? Equestria Daily had an article on that thing a few weeks ago. However, that game was rather hard to find as only a few language options led to a section where it was accessible and you had to create an account and whatnot.
What you see here is basically a "china copy" of said game - an almost 1:1 clone. The animations and pony graphics as well as sounds were extracted from the SWFs found at happy studio. Backgrounds and UI elements are mostly traces or remakes, primarily due to my JPEG allergy. The code was written from scratch, trying to imitate the original game as closely as I felt like.

If you are wondering why I made this clone: I recently got a copy of the Adobe CS 5.5 including Flash Pro and decided this would be a good chance to get into Flash and ActionScript (3.0) - no better way to learn something than to do it. Let me tell you that I learned a lot! I just can never come up with some own original ideas.
Furthermore, this way the game is far more accessible for the online pony community: no language barriers, no need to register an account at a kids website plus it works as a "standalone" SWF (Flash player required, of course). Not that it was such a great game or anything, but the fans want to consume everything they can get, right? So there you go.

If McDonald's or Hasbro have a problem with this because of copyright stuff, I'll take it down if the ywish so.
I wouldn't know why they should care, though. There isn't really that much to it, is there? Well, it's up to them.
As far as I care, anyone may share this thing anywhere. It's not really mine, it's theirs.

One last thing, thanks to Cameron Desrochers for the PNGEncoder2 library used for photo saving.

So, I was taking a small break from Commissions, I can't remember the last time I drew something simple and just for me.
and I had a sudden urge to draw a humanized version of 'my little pony'
We both grew up with them.
Although, I was far more interested in ninja turtle action figures and DBZ. haha.
I really liked how this one turned out, I tried to keep the style similar to that of the original artwork. The eyes, hair, etc.
I liked some of the ponies that had fades to their legs, and thought I'd make it a sparkle plastic type as well.
Each pony came with a matching brush, so I included that as well.
And yes, the butterflies were done uber fast haha. All eyes on the lady!
I'm usually not much for anthro art, but I want to be a versatile artist, so experimenting with all types of art is a must.
It's harder than I thought, to give a cute girl a horse snout and not make it look...fugly....was a challenge. haha
So enjoy.

These MLP aprons are the ones I'm selling at Fanime. Hopefully I'll be able to sell more online!!

EDIT: Okay! Since there are a lot of people not in northern California that really want to buy aprons, I'll be setting up a sort of online shop in about two weeks.

It won't be instant aprons, since I have summer school and have NO stock, but I'll try to get some going when people make down payments (Like 15$ for the materials, so if you back out, I'm not in the red, and then 30$ when it's done, plus like 3$ shipping to US)

I can also do commission OC ponies, with an added price because I might need to buy extra things if your pony is hectic~
