Well, yesterday I went to the Capital to make me a medical test (just to control) and ...YAAAAAAY!!!! *_* I saw in a comic store the first volume of Paradise Kiss manga!!!!! XDDDD~~ Of course I bought it!!! *O* and read read and read it!!
So, yeah, here I tried to do a simple FanArt!! XD; They are George and Caroline--err Yukari!! ahahahaa....

I was invited to be George for a Paradise Kiss group, and I accepted mainly because the idea of having blue eyebrows intrigued me. Kidding aside, I was thankful for the invitation because I rarely get the chance to cosplay characters from shoujo series and Paradise Kiss is one of the very few I've read/finished, so I thought the photoshoot would be an interesting experience. Well, it certainly was. _{(Because of ~ergo-denuo and her knack for directing doujinshi-type scenes.)}

Here's a little preview, our purikura strip from after the trial photoshoot. I think I need to chop off a few more inches before the proper shoot, though. But whoo, that was fun. SEIJI SPARKLE!

Another submission for tonight, because I'm trying to push my last few photos _{*coughohmydignitycough*} away from the thumbnails on my main page. Although... yeah, my latest journal entry kind of defeats my purpose so I'll be doing something about that soon as well.

Yesterday we had a trial Paradise Kiss photoshoot, and here's a shot inspired by one of the scenes in the opening sequence of the anime, featuring the song "Lonely in Gorgeous" by Tomoko Kawase / Tommy february6.

Paradise Kiss is one of my favorite anime now I finished it in two days and I must say, WOW. It's a visual candy along with a realistic plot. Also what I love about it is how often I can relate to the characters, it's fantastic. I started watching NANA as well, it's also from Ai Yazawa.
So this is a little fan art I did in ParaKiss' honor. It's Yukari, and I plan on drawing Miwako and Isabelle in the future as well

It's gonna be a BIG file, so I suggest you download and go over it slowly.
Pictures will remain very large, and the text is going to look even larger in fullview-download.

This is a tutorial explaining how I went about making the dress for the collaboration between *pheleon and I. How I made the dress from the body form she sent me.

It is not a Full tutorial in the sense that I should you every step of how I made the dress. It's more of an overview and the ideas and concepts can help show you how you can make your own clothes for plushies. Also helps you visualize the piece patterns and see the starting point to finish how they all come together.

This concept can also be applied to BJDs (Ball Jointed Dolls), but please consider that you should not, and probably can not stick pins into a BJD. If you do some exterior pinning (like pinning the fabric outside to shape the fabric, should be ok).

Any questions? Ask away, I will try to answer to the best of my ability.

Requested by ~ilitenir ages ago.

Arashi and Miwako, her favourite ParaKiss couple. When Iru made the request, I knew it had to be something connected with shopping... So here we have Arashi being (ab)used by his lovely girlfriend. How charming~

I'm not perfectly happy with the way i drew Arashi's hair - it feels as if I turned more to the ParaKiss anime style. And I didn't like it that much.

Other than that, I've just noticed I forgot to colour the bag dangling from poor Ara-kun's arm. Nah.

The thing I'm most proud of? CLOTHING DESIGNS. I rarely try my hand at such funky outfits (it's mainly Iru-chan's domain), so it's double the pride. Besides, I used little to no reference, so it's actuall 100% my designing invention.

Those black and gray specks are odd, I know. I used the acrylic pen to add a shine/plastic glow here and there... But obviously, the scan won't show it.

I'd really love to see someone Miwako-sized wear that outfit.

This is based off the cosplay and I did at Fanime more than the actual character designs of Arashi and Miwako. I did it for fun, I'm bored.

I would also like to give myself a pat on the back for actually managing to make a piece using pastel colors. It was a tough battle, but I survived in the end. XD

Another pair of kanzashi for 's Sakurada Miwako cosplay. She's doing an original cosplay of Ms. Miwako (wearing a yukata~), and asked for an original sakura design to match. ♥

Anyways, I really enjoyed making this design. Subtle dying complimented by bolder pinks was really fun. I'm glad she and I experimented so much~~

Anyways, sakura are quite wonderful, wouldn't you agree?

Thoughts?
