Last episode of the Mentalist was just aired that week and im gonna miss it so badly! Simon Baker as Patrick Jane is my favourite character on TV at the moment. He's so charming and I love his smile! Anyways, I decided to draw him and here's the result! I kinda like how it came out and I hope you do too.
The hair was a lot of fun to draw for a change, I dont really know why. I actually had a lot of fun drawing the whole picture although it took me some time. Im estimating about 15 hours.
I know its not perfect but I lack patence for spending more time on it

tools are bristol smooth, mechanical pencils, eraser and blending stumps as usual.

The first of my "Prime Time is GO TIME!" series of artworks, which features characters from my favourite TV shows.

Here we have a character who probably needs no introduction: the all-seeing, all-scheming, always hilarious Patrick Jane from "The Mentalist"!

I've never really worked with solid black outlines before, and neither have I worked at as big a resolution as I did, so it was a real learning curve. It's also the first time I've approached an artwork in this drawing style, and I'm quite comfortable with it.

Lemme know what you guys think!

It's Patrick Jane from the show 'The Mentalist'! Woot! Also it's a Christmas Present for someone. See, I never got out of the whole 'make people presents' stage in my life. I'm a mature woman! I'll do what I want!

I've wanted to draw his hair since I saw the first episode of this series. It's so poofy, curly, and shiny how could anyone resist The series is really great so I do recommend it. First episode is rather poop though. But the rest of the episodes I've seen are tight well written packages of condensed awesome. I'm only on the third season but catching up fast!

I fuckin' love this guy. Sippin his tea, hypnotising people, layin' about on the CBI couch, helping himself to food at crime scenes, counting cards, magic tricks, and a childlike feigned naievete that is ever so fun.

My entry for Murphy's Law contest

As you see, Jane's annoying capacity is so strong that he's not very welcome anywhere

This was a very difficult drawing for me. I'm not good at comicstrips because it's hard for me draw exactly the same over and over. But even if I almost threw my sketchbook and my scanner away bc screwed up the colors every damn time, I decided to don't give up and share this joke with you all ;D

However, I'm pretty sure this is the last comicstrip I'm doing in a loooong time XD

Just a little doodle of one of my favourite shows, CBS's "The Mentalist".

Patrick and Teresa have an awesome dynamic, IMHO. <3 Though, before anybody gets this wrong - I don't ship them. 8D Not at all. Can't see them work, to be honest. Getting them together would kill the show, I think. :/ Actually, I ship no one in this show. Grace and Wayne were really cute, yeah, but it's also okay that they're separated again.

This is how an animated series could look like, lol. No, just kidding. Ahaha. 8D

Spare me comments about disliking the show, please. I really don't give a fuck and those comments are pointless anyway.

This picture is dedicated to Elisabeth Sladen who died very suddenly on April 19th 2011. She was a great actress and companion of the 3rd and 4th Doctor in the british TV series Doctor Who. I also enjoyed her own show The Sarah Jane Adventures very much.
I'm sure she finds her peace now together with John Pertwee (3rd Doctor, her Doctor!), William Hartnell (1st Doctor), Patrick Throughton (2nd Doctor) and Nicholas Courtney (Brigardier Lethbridge-Stewart).
