I thought it was odd, but for some strange reason, I didn't think much of it until I saw a comment that congratulated me on my DD. I started by the little colorfull splashes and painted everything around them.

So, after some time, here's my new Disney inspired Photomanip!
I wanted something really natural for this one. I didn't want to add the coloured leaves in the first place, but once I put them, I thought it gave the final work this magic touch like in the movie.

For those who asked me once, I calculated the time I spent on it: I worked about 34 hours on this one (and 21 hours just for the model).
I don't spend the same time on each manip but it gives you an idea.

So, after some time, here's my new Disney inspired Photomanip!

Oh yeah, I should probably explain why I gave her armor. Anyway, I was drawing just any random picture, but I thought it looked a bit like Pocahontas so it turned into a fan art piece.

The image is around 80% vectored and 20% hand drawn, so i put it in the vector art section anyway. Basically everything is vectored except for the trees in the background, the lines in the wood and the grass and maybe some other random little bits.

The original image was 4734 x 8100 pixels o_O omg it was so long doing a picture that big because it took forever to do one brush stroke....and saving...after a while, when I clicked 'save', I just went and watched tv for like 10mins because it really did take that long. Mind you, the file size of the original photoshop file was 212Mb...^^

Aaaaanyway...hope you like it! enjoy! :b


^{PS. Pocahontas looks better full viewed, but Grandmother willow doesn't, so it's up to you whether you full view or not :b}

Edit: I don't know how I never noticed it before, but everything is backwards in this pic...the tattoo, her dress and the general scene is backwards...so, when i can be bothered, I'll flip it over and re-upload it

The dress/necklace nail was supposed to be the thumb but looked better (I think) next to the shoulder/hair, and the other nails are 'colour of the wind'-y
