fuu....OuO heh~I've been wanting to a BRS drawing for a while now but never got around to it till a few months ago and even then i didnt have the time to completely finish it ><:;

but obviously i finally got around to finishing it! XD i think~ this is one of my best works yet O3O

I made my own little twist on BRS's jacket and body design :'D just for fun? nyan~ i think if she had glowing tattoos it'd be so cool XD <3

Shooting Star Tattoo Design

So I have for the last couple of days been toying with the idea of considering a tattoo. I decided that if I wanted something, it would have to have stars, and that it would be small and unobtrusive. Finding google images to be wholly unsatisfying, I drew this one myself. Still not committed to getting a tattoo yet, and when and if I do there is no guarantee that I'd use this; still, it's rather cute, and one I'd consider.

So yeah. Shooting star tattoo! Rather hastily done and without my tablet because it is BACK IN THE STATES WAH. So yeah. Hand done in GIMP.

*EDIT* I removed the diamond sparkles, and I think it looks better this way--not so crowded, a bit more mature I guess. I may add another small star to the top, but we shall see.

I found a very old sketch in some folder at home of an white lion with blue eyes and some blue details in his leg, so i decided to remake it! I tried to give a very mystic feeling in this creature, since he remind me (i don't know why) a esoteric store that i'd loved and shut the doors long time ago : T
It was very fun to paint it, specially the "sky" : D

This came from a large arm tribal I was trying to design. I wanted the design to start at the top of the shoulder and twist around. This was the only part of it that I liked. The rest of the design kind of sucked.

I'm thinking about getting this on the inside of my right arm. In the same location as my current tattoo. I'd also like for it to be red. Not sure if I want a black outline or not... probably not. I dunno.

For one of the Cashiers, She wanted a Lower Back Tattoo that was made up of stars.

At lunch, I played around with a few designs (which i might upload as a scrap) and eventually came up with the basic concept for this.

I personally love the half circle, half stars. I think it is kinda original, at least in this kind of pattern.

The top tattoo design is more like a comet shooting from both sides. Which was the original idea I came up with. The second design has more flow, but is similar to the first one.

I hope she likes one of them, if not you might see more ideas. (she liked them both, and didn't tell me which she liked more)

So me and my friend Iris have matching tattoos of those three stars at the centre of this tattoo. They're in the same place, on each boob just beside the cleavage. hers are black and filled in, and mine are just a purple outline of the stars.
She came to me last year sometime asking me to create a design around the stars to expand out onto her chest. It took a while of playing around but i finally pegged one that she totally digged! It looks KILLER on her too!

9___9 Hmm, where do I start with this one, heehee.

This was originally inspired by a real shooting star, which I saw earlier in the summer. It was my first one, so I was very excited!

I thought of the concept and it began as more of a tattoo design of some sort.

When the colouring began, I was aiming at a more vectory look, with clear crisp lines and cellshading rather than blending or a mix. It didn't last long and I decided to play around with it more and more. The image then became a playground for experimentation, which is something I don't do enough of.

It felt kinda good to pretend I was expanding, even though it's doubtful that I even did. Everything was just testing and playing around with things until I was satisfied enough to move onto another part. Then I got bored and just wanted to upload the damn thing so I can move on with my other art crap. DX

Overall, I dunno if I'm fully satisfied with this. Some things still bug me, but I can't figure out what it is. There were a ton of possibilities with this and I wish I could have done them all. Lot's of different versions and such that looked really good, and making a final descision was what made this kinda sadening for me.

BLEH, sorry for the rantyness, I just gotta get this damn image outta my system so I can get more done! XP'

Gonna get a tattoo with some of my friends as a group interest. Let the record show that I wasn't peer pressured into it.

Anyway, as a group we decided that we wanted a common symbol in our tattoo to connect us in a way. The big star near the bird's head will be that symbol while the other stars and the moon are just...there.

I wanted a phoenix because it represents change and new life, two things I will likely encounter in college. Also, birds in literature usually represent freedom if they are flying or are not caged. I liked the "tribal" design it has because it's simple but it sums up the entire shape beautifully. The big star is, as I said, connecting me to my friends - it will probably be a different color than the other stars. The moon and other stars are there because I like astrology and the beauty of the "heavens". It is a reference to the quote "shoot for the moon for if you miss you will land among the stars".

The tattoo parlor said they design all the tattoos themselves, but I liked this design and put it together myself from pictures I've found on the internet. What do you think?
