When I got around to watching Korra 4 episodes were already out. As soon as I saw how they reacted to each other (and that sexual tension) I know that Tahorra would be my main LoK ship. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm not getting my hopes too high, since my ships tend to sink....

HEY ALL

So I've become a major fanatic of the new follow up series to Avatar The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra. So far we're only 7 episodes in AND SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED GAAHHH ALL MY FEELS. I've been on the Makorra ship since the start but then Tahno was introduced and I freaking feel for his GODDAMN VOICE HOT DAYUM.

Then Thanks to my fellow tumblr fandomers, I become a multishipper for the first time in my life. I started to ship this pairing right here, Tahorra.

So I've spent the last last week or so spazzing out about Tahorra, looking at fanart and what not. I've also been indulging in fanfictions like crazy *I REGREAT NOTHING*

THEN I came across the most tear jerking fanfic written by ~fooboo24

GAWD IT MADE ME BAWL MY EYES OUT.

I found it on fanfiction.net and then I found her HERE. I talked to her, worshipped how brilliant her writing skills are and now we're watching each other. I was already set out to draw one of the scenes she wrote which is this one right here:

"Silence cast over them once again, Korra still not looking at him. After a few moments, she croaked out, "Y-you can go now, if you want. I know you don't care." He heard her sniffle from beside him.

He looked at the ground, contemplating his next words. Upon deciding what to say, he looked up at her and placed a hand on her shoulder comfortingly, firmly. "Who's to say I don't care about you, Korra?"

He felt the skin beneath his hand begin to shake, and he realized she had begun crying again, more loudly and uncontrollably than before, no longer trying to protect her last shreds of dignity. In that moment, Tahno knew what he had to do, and so standing up, he moved closer to her and hesitantly wrapped his arms around her sobbing frame. He felt her stiffen beneath his awkward embrace, but then relax, and she leaned into him, look for some kind of consolation from the man she was supposed to hate. The only man she knew that really understood her situation. Sure, Mako and Bolin were great sources of comfort to the girl, but they didn't know what it felt like to have their very being ripped from them. Tahno, however, did. He was not pitiful he was empathetic, mindful of her loss. Of their shared loss.

Tahno's arms tightened around her, bringing her closer to him, letting her bawl into his chest. Korra's arms lifted and wrapped around his torso, hugging him to her and squeezing him. He felt his own sadness well up within him at this, and he pressed his face into her hair, trying to ward it off and focus solely on her, but to no avail, tears building up in his eyes but not falling. Her misery reminded him of his own, and so there they sat, embracing, searching for any and all sources of comfort within each other they could find, but failing desperately in their futile attempts.

He wanted so badly to make her stop crying, to see her smirk or something at him, but he knew she could not, and that she needed to vent, and so he let her. After a while, Tahno could take her wailing no longer it was making his heart shatter painfully. Feeling some kind of confidence gather inside him, he leaned down and pressed an almost non-existent kiss to her forehead uncharacteristically, willing her sadness away. He wanted to tell her that he still thought she was the amazing tenacious girl he loved to rival himself against, but he knew she didn't want to hear it, and so said nothing, taking solace in their silence."

Hey, guys!

Another Tahno fanfic! But...there\'s actually a tad bit of Tahorra/Tahnorra at the end! It\'s not really romantic at all, just a happy sort of love. And, this isn\'t my best writing style, but I figured I\'d try it out.

This one is just Korra coming to announce to Tahno that she beat Amon and could restore his bending. If I had been in a better writing mood, I would have written the process of actually getting his bending back.

I don't know...I don't even know. It's obviously not a part of my Mako and Bolin series. I just...I LOVE TAHNO!!! x.x And I shamelessly admit to liking Tahorra as well. So along with the Mako and Bolin series I might do a few Tahorra stories too. So be prepared for that.

The best part of Tahorra? IT DOESN'T HURT MY FEELS!!!! Shipping Borra had me hurting a lot. With this one, since I know it'll never REALLY happen, it's ok. I can ship with no regrets!! There is however some small Makorra and Borra in this one, very small, but still there. So have fun with that.

Oh, and I really don't think I did too great at keeping them in character, what do you think? x.x Also the longer version for the title would be 'With Her and Without Bending.' But I like short titles on the top, so there you go.
