The show last from July 17th - 29th(Thu-Sat 10am-9pm), but the Opening reception is July 17th from 6pm-9pm. It'll be at the:

Lanaca Gallery
1827 S. Main St.
Los Angeles, CA 90015

The Opening Reception will be the first debut of all the artwork and you'll be able to meet some of the artist while you freely drink and snack away. The Lanaca Gallery located on the ground floor of a beautifully restored 1930s Art Deco building that is just South of the Staples Center and next to the LA Mart. Its a great location and not as far as my last show.

Parking is metered until 6pm on which it is then free, but please do keep an eye out for signs. No fee to enter, so come at your free will and as I said earlier, enjoy the free snacks and wine.

Here are the new flyers for the show, I'll have them printed and out on Monday.


As for Anime Expo, I'll update later when I get the photos up and such. AX was a little sucky this year, less anime-goers(More curious locals) and not so many interesting activities/events to do and watch. I really wish they'd set back up in Anaheim, it was the perfect location.

I've been job hunting, desiging Manga logos and T-Shirts for the past month. Here is something I've been working on, her name is Haiku, she's been around awhile, but this pic was done for a t-shirt for Intermixi.com, they're selling a version of her there, blue and red.

Sure its been a week, but I've been busy God Dammit!! Anyway, here are some snaps of the show, it went really well, maybe not by "art show" standards but I had a load of fun and it was exciting and I met a lot of great artist! I only sold one piece, and to my Dad... I was very happy but I told him "DAD!! I already get money from you ><" I think he liked it because it reminded him of Hellboy, which hes a huge fan of.

Having my family and my Diego there was one of the reasons it was fun, the art was exciting. Here is string of photos from the show, with descriptions underneath.


They are the wonderful couple who helped me frame my works the same day as the show!! I'm extremely grateful to them and their wonderful framing perfection!! I recommend them Highly! More info about them in Valencia, CA here

Germany was awesome, beautiful and clean. I've pretty much wrote about it in the last journal, but yeah. I took lots of Photos, so when I get the chance I'll upload those and the Japan trip ones as well.

As for the Art Show, its this coming Wednesday May 20th at 8pm at The Blue Cafe, 210 The Promenade N, Long Beach, CA 90802. It's an 21 and over event and will have plenty of various artist and art styles to take a gander at Here's the website: [link]

Entry is $7 at the door. What's cool is each time someone comes and mentions my name while they arrive will be tallied. For each paying guest that gets tallied under my name, I get $2 at the end of the night. So the more the merrier But do come because there will be great live music, drinks and ART!

Ok, so, last journal I stated I was going to Germany and having an art show, but only one happened I decided to reschedule my art show to May 20th because setting up for Germany took a lot of my free time. Besides I was still unsure if my work was worthy of an art show, so I'd rather have time to maybe makes some new pieces for it.

Obviously Germany went along as scheduled and I'm here now. I'm here with my sister, Angelica, to help our older sister, Suzette, and her boys, Bruce and Marcos, to move back to the states. Shes lived there for the last 3 years because her Husband, and my Brother-in-Law, Oscar, is in the Army. He'll be finishing his 9.5 yr enlistment with the US Army and coming home to California this fall. My sister is moving back now so that everything will be set and ready for Him when he's home.

Germany is a nice view, very humble, and clear air. So far I've took some nice photos, and because my Camera is Fixed!!! To an extent, and not really, I just reset the overall settings, and whatever happened before, it works now, way better than before.

The airport was a great "fun". The 11 hr plane ride was just about bearable, but then, our luggage was an hour late, just my sister's and mine's. Then we had to find our taxi, which was easy finding a guy with a sign "Palacio". We were sure he was already given directions to Suzette's, so I just sat back and enjoyed the 2 hour drive to her house. Beautiful landscapes. I mainly slept the ride over, but woke frequently due to is erratic driving on the Autobahn... every car drove faster than 100mph and with no care in the world for the other drivers. I basically awoke to every harsh break he hit on the Autobahn. But we got there at around 2pm, as it poured, and then waited to get signed in.

This all may seem like complaints, but I felt it was a fun experience, and not to bothersome to rant about, but enough to write about What was interesting was that our neighbor's on the plane ride had asked us where we were going and we slowly stumbled across the fact my brother-in-law is in Iraq, and they said "Oh the US Army" we answered yes then he said "Tell him Thank you, (he paused) for giving us rights/freedom" Couldn't quite remember the word he used, but it was along those lines.

Great seeing my sister and my nephews, I love them to Death!! I also miss my Babay, Diego, something fierce! Love you bo!

So Back from Japan, and even more pooppy than before... I can't believe I was there again and left again. I don't regret any moment of it though, even though it all now feels like an awesome dream. Its so boring being back home, the streets are dull and shady, the people are dull and shady, and the shops are... dull and shady. At least Japan was fun and shady

Hmmm I guess I can say, when you leave Japan, everything feels like time has slowed down, people are careless and rude, and life is overall just plain boring. Well enough of my emo rant, now about why Japan is a hellava place!

So going back to Tokyo was as exciting and adventurous as the last trip. Even though we visited much of the places from the Tokyo Game Show Tour, it had a little more added, or was experienced differently (like more walking), and it was a little more peaceful and less stressful, because I wasn't desperately trying to get stuff or pictures.

Tokyo, with its Akihabara, Shibuya, Harajuku, and other prefectures, it sure is a wonderful storm of culture and views, if ya know what I mean. The Two new things during our stay in Tokyo were the Tokyo Anime Fair, and the Samurai Experience. Tokyo Anime Fair was like Anime Expo, and I love Anime Expo, but since this was in Japan, it got more points in my book! The Samurai Experience was basically short samurai lessons, and yes it ROCKED. Would've been more energetic, but this was our last stop in the day, and we had a FULL active day... "You're Breaking my Balls Mimi!" Of course, with my lack of rhythm, I was the one a little disoriented and screwing up, but I still had A LOT of fun and recommend it to all. Oh, and don't wear a skirt and semi-transparent nylons to a Samurai lesson, I thought we'd change to outfits...

So I know, pictures would be GREAT, so at the moment, I'm weeding through my images to better organize and such, but don't expect any Amazing quality photos, my camera decided to be shitty during the trip. A few good shots, but not a great as the last trips: [link]

The one thing I regret was not going to an Onsen/Bath House. Maybe next time, but definitely still a dream of mine, but to go to one that's really traditional and a visual overload and in the mountains.

Now on to OSAKA, yes, it is so wonderful, it needed all caps. Osaka is like Tokyo, but more humble, happier and the people are way HOTTER! Great looking crowds, happy faces, jitensha(bikes) galore, lots of shops and great food all within walking distance. If there was one place or event that made me want a bike so bad, it be Osaka.

The nightlife was just as active and beautiful. Though I didn't get to adventure as much as I'd like, but I was also so exhausted from the previous fun days. The most beautiful event would have to be getting to Osaka on the Shinkansen, also known as the Bullet Train. I video taped the trip to and from Osaka and will post soon, but it was beautiful. It was like a Hayao Miyazaki film moment by moment. I was also listening to great music matching the view and making me cry.

During our stay in Osaka, we visited Kyoto. I wish to explore Kyoto more one day, because I LOVE the traditional aspect of Kyoto. The Temple on the Mountain, I believe Kiyomisu Temple, was amazing, the Nijo Castle was gorgeous, and all so surreal. The bus guided tour was fun overall, really liked Kyoto.

The only thing I hated was... The plane ride >< but I'll endure if it means Japan I'd like to Thank Intermixi tours for the yet again, wonderful experience, and I'll miss the friends met and laughs we shared. Oh and meeting up with a pal from that last tour, Will Tam, was awesome! My sister Angelica said "He's right where we left him" when we saw him at the airport immigration when we arrived lol Saying bye was tough this round too, usually happens when we say goodbye to friends that are going home to states far away. Hope to meet you all again, and see some of you at AX09!

Hey hey all, recently I answered an ad to design an Album Cover for "Game Music 4 All" [link] They're a website dedicated to the promotion of all video game inspired music today. They have an amazing range of GREAT music. Volume 1 is part of a series of 5 song "mixtapes".

The series is called Hey! Listen! The goal of these mixtapes is to introduce you to bands, musicians, and artists who you may have never discovered otherwise.

1) Tribute to A Tigress

I was eating breakfast this morning, watching Animal Cops Houston, when I heard about a devastating story, as all on that show usually are. Turns out, its legal to own Tigers in Texas. As cool as that sounds, a lot of unworthy pet owners buy them, but don't take care of them and they die.

In this story, the Animal Cops were called in by neighbors of this guy who drove around with a makeshift trailer holding two Siberian Tigers, one female and one male. When they had arrived, both animals were in horrible conditions, but in particular was the Tigress.

The tigress, which has extreme physical evidence of malnutrition and abuse, had 5 fully formed cubs inside her, DEAD. They've been in there a while, that means shes been unhealthy for a while and not even well enough to birth her cubs. When both tigers got to the animal hospital, the doctors had no possible way of saving the Tigress, she was too unhealthy to get the cubs out with surgery, and leaving the dead cubs in there would kill her slowly and painfully, so they euthanized(mercy killed) her. She went peacefully, but her life wasn't much to remember, poor girl. The Tiger male pushed through the misfortune and now lives at a great animal reserve for exotic animals.

I just died hearing how such a rare and fascinating animal was so easily given to people who could destroy them, and that someone would do that. Now I know there are amazing pet owners who take great care of their pets, but those guys who misused those Tigers are downright EVIL.

So in Tribute, I drew the Tigress a picture, took me about 2 hours, but I had to be quick because I have a lot of work to do. [link]

The Halloween shoot I spoke of in my last journal was postpone to this Saturday, just for those who wanted to see the pics. I will be linked to them when available. I'm still losing weight and toning, now I'm 115 again!!! Unless my weighting machine is broken... Gonna go check again, but I can definitely say I'm around 123lbs!!

I've been exercises the Pilates way for the last week because I have a photoshoot coming up this Saturday and I wanted to look my best... And I'm getting there!!

I lost 6lbs (129lb now, aiming for 115lb) in the last week from a combination of good diet and pilates!! I'm sooooo excited because I feel more confident and sexy that I KNOW I'll bring it to the shoot!

The Photoshoot this Saturday will be in Placentia, CA at 1pm with a theme I've been dying to do... A HALLOWEEN SHOOT! They'll have everything for me, from makeup and hair to sets of outfits as well as the a great photographer. All I have to do is model, and I get to bring my own outfit as well!!

I'm soooooo excited that I can't possibly express it enough in one journal entry!

As far as my career life goes, its still at a standstill... no job, no response from applications, and I'm beginning to loose confidence in my works. But fear not! I'm not giving up!! I want to move out! I want to become a famous and well-respected artist! I want to travel the world with the money I make!! I will become a Character Designer because I'm a greatly talented artist and strong gal!

I'm working on side pieces at the moment, and, as some friends have seen, I've had my art published in local newspapers to promote Mt. Sierra College, Thanx to my school. Here's a WIP of the piece I'm currently working on:



She will be colorful and bold because she is a Sky Pirate. The BG will be large and elaborate with airships and an amazing sky. A dynamic upshot(worms-eye) view to emphasize her power. It'll have a noticeable comedic feel in it as well.

I don't have any photos of the publications, but maybe soon, and I'll update accordingly... Hope everyone is doing great and so so sorry about the lack of responses back to comments, mail and such, I'll try to get to those as soon as possible.

1) So Anime Expo and come and gone, and doing Artist Alley this year has completely taken up my time for my all time favorite place... the Exhibit Hall. Even though I shifted in and out with family watching the table and I skipped a day of working for my Graduation, I still manage to miss out on 95% of the Hall...

I tole myself at least I have Comic-Con coming, up, there may not be a lot of Anime stuff but still some good buys. Next year for AX and Comic-Con I plan on getting a table and possibly with a group of friends where we'd have shifts so that we can all experience the cons and sell our work. Were also planning on making an artbook together.

2) I went to the LA Zoo with some friends and Diego all to go draw the animals, we were there for a while but had to go early. This was my first time here since I was 5 years old. Kinda run down, but still full of interesting animals.

3) Comic-Con and San Diego were AWESOME!! I've been to San Diego last year for Siggraph, but San Diego with Comic-Con was Incredible. So lively and fun, the people were inviting and shared the common love for comics, art, anime and more (both local and visitors). The day before Comic-con I remember thinking, "OMG Anime Expo is Huge and Amazing", after attending Comic-Con, AX looks feeble. I still Love AX and will still attend, but I realized how much more Comic-con is professional and gives more opportunities to artist alike. AX is more for the fan sells, Comic-con is good for that and business/networking.

It was quite a wild experience, but not as much as the big earthquake!! Been a while so this was a shock. I was on the 8th floor with Diego and my friend Alan when the entire room swayed back and forth. Kinda crazy how moving it was. Turns out it was larger back in the LA area, shacking up stores and buildings.

5) I've been trying to get back to work on an art job, but one thing after the other just continues to get in the way. I hope to get back on it as soon as possible.

6) Other than that, I'm completely stumped... Ive never had no project, homework, grade that I had to strive for, so now with graduation... I'm stumped, I feel like I have to DO something. Im trying to relax and take a real vacation for myself for once, but its hard. Now days just fly by and I don't know what to do.

Since I tend to procrastinate a lot, I need a deadline to actually get things going. I want to finish things to my quickest ability, which is pretty fast, but I leave it off for another time...

I have to also get back on my website and finish that. I've applied for jobs, but no reply. The house I was planning on getting has increased the price so we hesitate to buy. I want to start back modeling, but since I never got any attention before, I don't think I will now.

The only thing I look forward to now is the major trip I'm taking to Japan. Hopefully this will re-inspire me and I may even find better opportunities there. I sure hope Japan is all what I dreamed it to be, I've hoped it to be.

Seattle was a gorgeous place, really cold place, but amazing none the less. I have plenty of pictures to show and stories to tell .



The environment was gorgeous! So lush in color and the air was soooooo clean. Not to mention the beautiful rain and sudden snow. It was freezing like hell, but worth it. I sure do wish I could've stayed longer. If a job is offered there by Valve, I'll probably more than happily take it, maybe



Valve was an awesome building. It lies in a large skyscraper with various other companies, but it holds the three high up floors to itself. The interior is all Half-Life themed, and I heard the hotel in the building holds Valve themed rooms!



We got a tour of the great workplace and got to see some upcoming Meet the TF2 Cast videos as well as test the talked about Gold Rush map with other Valve employees!! OMG it was an amazing trip and all of us had to restrain ourselves and keep professional the whole time. Diego even got his Half-Life art book signed by the creator/founder: Gabe Newell. We even got some free stuff:



The food at every restaurant we went to was really good. We visited a comic store named Zanadau and took some alley shots along the way, then we went to the Pike Place Market. We wanted to visit The Space Needle, but ran out of time, and it got too cold, seeing as it was now snowing ><. Our plans to go to Digipen were cut too, they had an event going on and we couldn't go... Also, Sakura-Con was there at the convention center... but no time ><



All the things we got to do is what made this trip sooooo fun. Now I have to go finish that DomWar character and finish my portfolio

I'm so excited!! This will be my first trip out of California(Farthest from Pasadena was two hours out!) and I just can't wait. The trip is from tomorrow to this Saturday, gonna be raining all that time >< But I love rain anyway just not the cold. I'll be trying to finish a lot of artwork on the trip as well.

I also just finished my 11th Term and am now on my Spring Break for two weeks. Next term is not only my 12th term, but my last term!!! I'm gonna be graduating I'm excited, stressed and nervous all at the same time! Gotta get a job and find a new house.

So Blizzard Entertainment came to my school Thursday, February 28 and gave a presentation on the game industry and Blizzard itself. They also informed us that they are open for internships and the deadline to apply was Friday(Yesterday). So I, and some of my other classmates, applied before 5pm yesterday for an internship in our desired field. I went for the 2D Illustration Internship.

I'm sooooooo excited, I do hope I get the internship, and if so, I'll be updating my portfolio with plenty of Warcraft inspired/themed pieces. I'll be asking my siblings for their WOW characters and draw them out in the Warcraft style. It would be such a great opportunity for me if I make it.

Aside from that, I've entered the Dominance War III in the 2D Character Design competition. It's a widely known contest and will give alot of great prizes aside from fame. Heres my entry so far: ostcount=18" DWIII-SashaP-Lilith

Alot has happened lately, including that I've got a house! I really gorgeous little cottage like home, cozy and with a wonderful garden. Both me and Diego will be moving in the begining of March, we hope to have a House Warming party mid March to early April.

I've recently submitted a fan piece of Pepper: [link] for the Pepper Project: [link] and I really hope it gets into his book. I also am submitting to have my work in the next Ballistics Expose book. Hopefully I get in there too. I want to also submit my work to the wonderful magazine ImagineFX. All to help promote myself.

I never went to Las Vegas, things came up so I had to cancel, maybe another day. I'm very excited about moving out, and the fact that I finally have a room to dedicate to mine and Diego's collection of figurines and statuettes. But the Disney trip was fun, except for the missing of my baby.

I'm also happy my kitty, Kira, will have room to roam.

Well out of the rant and into the actually stories of the journal. Last week for one of my other classes finals, there was the "On the Spot" Competition at my school and I was one of the 5 finalist to compete.

The competition had a prior competition where every week a theme is given, which you have to design a image of sorts, for 5 weeks and then at the end of those 5 weeks, a score is tallied and the 5 finalist with the highest score go at it at a major competition called "On the Spot"

I manage to make it to the final rounds, with just one entry from the 5 week set, and then I went up against what was supposed to be 4 other competitors in a 2 round competition of a time of 20 mins each to design the theme given to us.

Round 1 "When Little Things Mean a Lot" (I know I spelled "A lot" wrong...)
20 min. I scored 4/5 points

And after that nerve recking event, I won. I happy but I sure do wish the other competitors showed. I won a small plastic trophy saying Awesome Job and I think First Prize, a T-shirt from the school only it's large enough to be PJ's and a New Bamboo Blue Wacom, may use it or give to my sis.

The Miss G3 competition finally ended and I won 2nd place, Miss Dayton won altogether and I'm super happy she won and that Miss Greece got 3rd! Congrats yall! My prizes are:
-3 month subscription to Deviantart
-30$ Prize Money
-Full color Bust of Runner up with a dozen roses. Winner gets to choose if she is wearing her National Costume, swimsuit or evening wear in portrait!

Well I'm going to try and enjoy this vacation before I begin my 2nd to last term and my senior thesis. I really hope my grades come out A's and B's... I can't wait for Diego and I's trip to Las Vegas... it'll be something good for us.

Been busy with school lately, trying to pass with grades of at least B's or better. Hopefully I can get alot of that work in for these last 2 weeks of class...

Oh my God, I'm actually starting my Senior Thesis next quarterm meaning I have 2 terms left and I'm graduating! It's been a good long ~3 years, but I sure can't wait till its over ><

I went to a club friday night with my friends and my boyfriend, Diego. We had loads of fun, and I've been trying to find a way to exercise and I'm thinking of going to the club every friday and eating good to get back into modeling shape

Alison Mann came to our school last Thursday representing Nickelodean and all their possible jobs/internships available and how to apply. They seem to have a great environment, and good Character Designer jobs, but I'm not sure whether I should work fro them, they are a kids network and that provides some limits to my art. Alot of friends and professors were telling my that I should try it out... but I'm still to unsure.

Ballistic's Publishing Company, makers of the all famous Exotique and Expose artbook series, are looking for applicants for their next Expose 6 and Elemental 3 books. I want to send in some of my artworks, but I'm not sure which. I definately want to submit my 3DS Max piece:

Mine and Diego's Las Vegas Trip was moved to Jan 14th. Its not much of a problem except its during the 2 week of my 11 Term. Hopefully not to much homework, I'll only be missing out in one class though.

I did have one drink that night, and it sure did get to me Wasn't feeling so hot the day after I know, how sad... On my actual birthday, Nov. 15th, my mom had me try a Raspberry Margarita. It tasted like a slushie, and was good .

I don't think I'll be drinking much more anytime soon, just not my thing and I don't like the aftermath , but I would try it sometime again.

I had won a Las Vegas Trip for Two and I decided to use it on Jan. 07 2008, so that My Baby and I can celebrate our 6th year anniversary Jan. 09. We've come a long way

Seeing as my break is up, I guess getting to writing reviews for all three games would be hard to get to, but I'll try. I had a chance to draw this break too, and on my boyfriend's, Diego, Wacom Cintiq. Such a nice tool to have, posted the pic, its of my MySims character I designed, Evey.

I start classes tomorrow and have a schedule of Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday ... What fun this will be. Oh and my grades for last term were 3 As and 2 Bs... Was aiming for all As, but that'll do.

I got a new Asian Ball Jointed Doll during the Glendale Elfdoll Store TeaParty, it's a ElfDoll Soah and she's Gorgeous. I'll post pics soon.

I saw Across the Universe, it was a good movie, but it was mostly great music wise. Otherwise, the movie was a bit simple, but I'd still recommend it.

I went to Little Tokyo with Diego and my sister Angelica last week Wednesday. We shopped a bit and ate some good Japanese food. Gotta love Little Tokyo, the closest to Japan I can get for now lol

So Halloween is coming up and all the theme parks are starting up their celebration, I may be going this Thursday to Knotts Scary Farm, but its a big maybe. I got a costume too, its a sexy Mobster Chick

We got as many games for it that were available at the time at the store: MotorStorm(Free, came with PS3), Lair, and Virtua Fighter. I personally can't wait for LittleBigWorld and Home.

I'm finally feeling good, school has had me stressed and I could'nt wait for this free time. Sure there's the good and the bad so far, like good is the free time and PS3, bad is the family errands I have to run...

I can't wait to start back up drawing something, or even playing past favorite games such as Final Fantasy XI. Better yet, maybe I should finally finish Final Fantasy XII, I was at the last boss but then school started back up... ><

So for my little brother's b-day we went to Disney and California Adventure in a three night stay vacation. Overall it was fun, but I got sick *cough* with a head cold. So Disney was a bit of a drag and for once I was the one wanted to go back to the hotel way early... I feel so bad because I wanted to show my cousin Raquel a good time before she left home, it was either her first time to Disney or her first time in a long time, I couldn't remember.

I believe we all had fun though, other then me and my sister Angelica getting sick. So for the past week now(soon to be a week in two days) I've been at home sicky, or at Diego's, trying to get to school, but every time I think I feel better, I wake with a worst feeling...

So while I was sick, my vocals have been drowning in mucus *cough* I can't easily go about a conversation, so I'm sorry to those who have been calling and I've not picked up. Sorry Joey!

But on that note, I decided to go and pick up my reservation of the Limited Edition of BisoShock, a gorgeous, brilliant and exciting game by the makers of System Shock (a Tale tell game with great love from its oldschool fans). Not only is its audio wonderful, but its visuals, voice-acting and scare-factor is amazing!

I gladly admit that I've been to chicken shit to actually play, so I have Diego (willing volunteered) playing the game as I help with puzzles and occasional headshots. I recommend this game to all, its story is amazing, and though Diego and I haven't finished it, I'm ready to give it a 5/5.

Yea, congrats DA on 7 great years!

So anyway, been busy like expected these past few weeks. School hasn't gotten to bad, but don't want to jinx it and all. I made a new art website, because even though I love DA and all, its not professional enough to put on a card, I've heard, but I'm still gonna use DA, but gonna start cleaning stuff out and such.

Went to Siggraph 07 Aug 7-9, great convention and had loads of fun in San Diego, but the day before I left, I lost my phone... and ALL those phone numbers I had. I have a replacement now, and the phone number is the same, all I need to do is wait for my friends to call me so I can relist them, because like the dumbass i was, i never wrote them down or bothered to memorize them...

It was a blast though, me and my hubby got 35 new figures to add to our 100 already at home Oh and just in case you haven't realized, its a shared hobby of ours, as well as collecting art books, and art pieces.... and seeing/getting signatures from famous artist and our shared facination with all things Japanese ^^

So anyway, gonna be starting up my SUM07 Term this Monday, with 5 classes >< and a job at the school again But no biggie, I can get through it. I got my grades for last terms classes and... ALL A's!!!!

I'm so proud because it was a goal of mine to get back on the President's list (GPA 4.00) again Was on the Dean's list (GPA 3.00-3.99?) a couple times before, but lost it 2 terms ago.

Well, as soon as I get time to get back on here and there, I'll upload what I can and respond too TTYL all, hope life has been good to ya and happy 4th of July to the US inhabitants Oh and thanx for all the recent favs, comments, pageviews and more! I apprecite it!! :yay:

5) OMG I forgot Anime Expo

1) Finished my 5th Term and onto the 6th

I finished my 5th term of school in Sept.19 and now I've started my 6th (halfway through my 3 year degree) in the 3rd week too. I got 6 more terms to go till I graduate, or at least I hope, the classes are getting more hardcore and more of them, I got 5 classes and all core related, no general education for a while.

With my start up again, I'll be gone for the next few months with work to do, I'd drop by to check comments and such but don't expect a quick response. I also have some new works to post that I've done in class.

2) Mikomi-Con

I went to the Mikomi-Con [link] last weekend and for being their first convention, not bad... not bad at all. I tried cosplaying for a Final Fantasy meet but no one showed. So I gave up on that real quick after feeling real dumb, but once I got over that I went ahead and perused me and my baby Diego's hobby, collecting genuine and gorgeous figurines. I have a habit of collecting a lot of things but most of the time they're expensive and wonderful figurines... not toys ><

Also while I was there I went and saw the Grudge 2... boy do I want those two hours of my life back... and the $10s per ticket I spent. That movie didn’t live up to the first one nor even a horror flick. I'm looking forward to two films in the near future: "The Fountain" with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weis, and "Pan's Labyrinth". Go check their trailers, pretty damn awesome looking.

3) BJDs

Another hobby I recently started up but always had a fascination with is BJDs: Ball-Jointed Dolls. I bought two so far and boy was it hard to get only because I like my dolls tanned and they usually only have peach and pale. The first one I bought will be arriving in December and is of my original character Julia Raine. The second one I bought will arrive next week on the 24 and is of my original character Chalcedony. I mainly bought the Chalcedony one because i plan on decorating her and snapping some pictures for an artbook I plan to make of just my character Chalcedony in many different art forms... much like Artgerm's Pepper character book.

Once I get them I'll try and post some pics...

4) Modeling and Art

With the way school has been going and my life I've decided to settle down on modeling, besides I've sorta lost my modeling figure and all... As soon as I get time and get back into shape I'm gonna try it again, because it’s definitely something I'm interested in.

Art... I've been sort of losing the passion and such, and have been pushing myself to draw... so any artist should know how that comes out... I have some school works... but school arts aren’t always as anticipated as originals. But sooner or later I'll get back into it, I hope.

5) OMG I forgot Anime Expo

Didn’t realize I haven't written in here since June... so I have alot that you all missed and pics to submit. Anime Expo was Amazing, I had sooooooooo much freakin’ fun and can't wait till next year. I may just attend Artist Alley this time and all. I have some photos too, just haven’t gotten around to them, when I do, I’ll be sure to tell ya guys.

Wow, the last two terms of school have been hectic and deadly to me both physically and mentally. But i actually finished it, through blood, sweat and tears i got through my first year of my BA in Game Arts and Designs... now 2 more to go.

I went to celebrate our success with my classmates at Raging Waters and a BBQ before the trip. Went out great and we were so proud.

I'm going to the Anime Expo this year and will be going all 4 days as: 1st Day Christie Montiero, 2nd Day Chii as Alice, 3rd Day Rinoa Heartilly, and 4th Day Battle Angel Alita from Last Order series.

I'm so ampt to go... so anxious ><

Well well, i hit 20k about 2-3 weeks ago, Thank you all! I appreciate the support and friendship With school over, even though our family isn't going to Puerto Rico after all, I'm still gonna have a great vacation.

I got casted for a movie in New York as the main character's wife sister. The movie has something to do with the Latin Kings organization, they said it's like the Godfather for Latinos. I fly out to New York in Feb. and take acting lessons and such. I'm hoping to take my mom and Diego

My Devianniversary is coming up, 3 yrs woot! And Diego's and I's Anniversary this January 9th... 4yrs BABAY! We're still not sure on what to do that day

I might draw somemore this vacation, matters if i want and have the time, may have to clean all the time

They're making a Battle Angel Alita Movie, and James Cameron (director) wants a new face for Alita, so it was open cast So i submitted myself, photos, resume and application, due all today. The movie is going to be all CG, so they need a model for the CGI of Alita. I truly hope i get it, or at least into the finals. Anyway, watched Kong last night, excellent movie, i still want to catch Memoir of a Geisha, since i read the book and all. I hope my friends are doing good, sorry for the long time no talk, just have been so damn busy. I'm waiting for my representative for the movie to send me all the info, especially my scrcipt, which is 10pgs long ><

Boy, what a semester, this quarter at Mt. Sierra for the Game Arts and Design Bachelor's Degree is murdering me.
It's not that the work is too hard, it's just so much ><
I have 4 classes and each is giving me 2 weeks of homework each, practically. I barely get free time, and that time is precious to me ><

I'm trying to clean up my portfolio, my teacher recommended i do, and hes right.. oh and by the way, he join DA as Hope i got that right. He's our Adobe Illustrator instructor, and other stuff too in the later years. I have only 12 students in our game division... they've estimated that only about 5 of us or less will graduate at the end of the 3 years... oi...

No pretty pictures today, sadly... well, maybe one of my three kitties sleeping: Blizzard, Skipper and Trooper... i didn't name 'em, but i love Blizzard... which is the big one on which they are all laying on.

Wow >< What a week and weekend, besides the fact that my summer classes begin July 5, all sorts of people and events are coming out and wanting me to do something Not a bad thing but sorta just took up all of the rest of June and im trying so hard to finish this all by time i get to start school.

I went to Disney and California Adventure this weekend for a father's day celebration with my family and Boyfriend. We rented 3 hotel rooms for 3 days, we left friday and went to California Adventure Saturday and Disney on Sunday. In total of 22 people we manage to completely go through California Adventure with time to spare. Really small park, fun but can never beat Disney. Then the day came for Disney... >< WOW We couldnt get through the whole park but we had a blast. I got some really gorgeous things of Princess Jasmine, my favorite. I got one horrible tan >< but yeah.

Oh i dont know if i had mentioned this, but im going to Mt. Sierra College. Getting a BA of 3yrs or less in the Game Arts and Design major. Oh yeah I got my grades in for Pasadena High School spring term and got straight As, im so happy I'd be testing games again soon too.

Ok...lets see, what happen since June 1. Well spring semester finally ended, i did good though, awaiting the results. I got a DA Print Account, but gotta fix up the pics. Went to Knotts, applied for Mt. Sierra College in Game Art and Design(character design). The Administrative Representative was astonished by my works I Start July 5, Yay! Great school, awesome fun ahead. My photo was sent to the semi-finals in the photograpy contest at Picture.com and its funny cause i sent it in because i was bored one night and felt like it lol. My Best Friend Amanda got a hard DDR Pad so tomorrow after we hopefully go and watch Howl's Moving Castle we go to her house and dance all night lol. Also, i have a Photoshoot next Saturday FREE with professional photographer, makeup artist and hair stylist! And i'd be getting a laptop-recommended for my college- and yea... Im happy now, but i bet ya somethings gonna knock it outta place again for me.

Oh! I got Capoeira Classes this Sunday too!! FREE!!! AHHhhh*boom* Anyway, i hope to be sending/making some more pics soon, or if i have the pure time i'd send in some sketches. I'm tryng to get into a Driving School since no one here has time to teach me, not a bad thing, but yea. I would also-maybe- be going to Puerto Rico in August! Not only is it half my ethnic home, but this trip would be my first time ever to leave California, better yet, actually travel more then 4hrs out of Pasadena! My Love is coming too!! This would be special to me, that he would be there for my first trip out ...... Yea so! Yea im all up into that shit! It means alot to me, every little thing does.

Otherwise... :icolunch: has started up her Comic and its awesome! Check it out. My Cats had kittens, so were gonna give 'em away when they are old enough or ready to anyone who would love 'em. Two outta 7 are claimed so far. I'll take pics of them for future flyers or something. They are so cute ^^ But we already have 4 cats >< I would be testing another game soon, and with the same guys i tested for before, so i know its gonna be great!

Man have i been busy... so many chores, finals and shit to do... im tired, sick and apathetic. I just wanna rest, have fun and draw >< I still owe pictures too! I have an ultrasound tomorrow for the lump above my breast. I went to Knotts tho, on monday, i had fun, but in the end i got a bad stomach ack... and its still lingering now >< I think this is gonna be one of those "poor me" journals, so you may want to skip it.

I've seen quite some movies lately, went to the beach on saturday with my my bf Oscar and Camila We had fun too. And yea... well... im so bummy >< Im gonna go pick up my cd of my pictures today, hopefully i'll be also posting it today in my solomodels.com site.

I have finals all next week, actually just this coming saturday, next monday, tuesday. Im good with Art and Weightlifting class, just my humanities and latin class has me jumpy, more on my latin class actually. This semester went by fast. Im gonna take summer semester off. Too tired and blah >< besides, i got a game testing job and some more openings for modeling, so less stress with school in the way. But i'll start up back in fall. Oi... Imma get back to the day, got class too.

I hit 15k hits overnight, Thank you all for the watches, comments and support, its appreciated highly! I went to Six flags for 2 days and slept at a hotel near it. It was for my best Friends B-day event We went with my other best friends too and It was so great, we went in free one day and discounted the other! I had so much fun, we went on almost all the rides too. Excellent days, only part i actually consider a vacation during my springbreak. God that went by fast. Now off to school again. I have so much due... Almost all my classes gave me something to do over the break >< I want to play FFXI I dont get enough time, so i play FF1 on my DS. Fun game, and cool how it began it all.

I saw Sin City two weeks ago. It was surely a great movie. Im not much of a fan of the comic, but it was a awesome job on a film. My BF wont get off it, he loves it more then me j/k Anyway, i also went and saw it again with my sister and her husband because they just came back from Texas because her husband just came back from Iraq. Then at the end of the month they're going back and leaving in sept to Germany for 5 yrs i gonna miss them and my nephews so bad ><

I had to wear my bikini too, so it was kinda wacky seeing everyone at the convention-exaggeration- watching you. But i do get free products (which would total to $450 with the spray tan job), invites to company parties, free photoshoots, and a chance to be on any TV advertizing they may have in the future. The company was MagicTan [link] All fun though. I have to call my agency tomorrow to see what gigs they have for me. By the way, i found that tanning gig on my own, im starting to have second thoughts about Red Alert, they never get me any gigs, only pass downs?!

New Schedule, i dropped my Concept Drawing Art11B for the one type of art class i love. Figure Drawing also known as Life drawing. I adore that class, i love it with all my heart, i love the joy of drawing the human figure, i t fills me with ease and excitement. Thats the one thing i love to do, draw people.... though it doesnt mean i exactly love people Its a great class, i had my first day today And this is the first time i have drawn figures in the nude to, but i got off it in like a second when i started. My boyfriend Diego is taking it too. I hope he loves it as much as i do. I will soon take pictures of my arts... mainly the ones i like I also had taken my first class of Body Building Saturday, it was great, but now im sore as F#%^ing Hell.

Latin class is so much fun and interesting, i can actually now read some latin And my Humanities through the Arts class has us watch movies like: Blair Witch Project, Tomb Raider, Super Man, Donnie Darko, The Ring, The Poltergeist, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Fight Club. We watch, review and write reports of only 4 out of 8 of them Art11B class.... its good... just were doing the same thing i had done in VADA 3yrs ago... were drawing balls.... and then get this... she says our assignment is to draw a ball straight from our imagination!!! OMG like i never did that before....grrrr. I want to draw so bad, but i got lots of studying and chores to do ><

I had joined and made an account at SheezyArt, as Chalceodny. Everything i post there would be something i had recently or had posted here. And i would be copying and pasting the descriptions aswell unless otherwise. Im busy with college right now, so my time here and on SheezyArt would be choppy, so dont always expect a fast reply or constant artwork submittions as it has been anyway. Hello hello all! Boy schools getting busy and full on my time now trhat the semester is near to ending, im doing on project now >< Oh i did a modeling gig last week friday, i had to do a commercial>< i hate acting... and it was for one of those car commercials telling us to buy now and stuff... this try was an audition... After i went and hung out with two of my best friends playing games and renting stuff I sure wish it could've been longer.

Oh I GOT A DIGITAL CAMURA FINALLY!!! Its soooo good.. 5.1 megapixel Sony Cybershot. For like 349.99 i think.. had to use my school money because i also needed it for projects and shooting my portfolio...oh and modeling. This week like by the end, me, my sister and Diego will be going to the DMV to get our California Ids(finally) and try out on our drivers written test thingy

My Zed card is being made (its like a business card for models with there pictures, ht, wt, size and all on it) and i would soon be sent out to do my job School is great, i love this class! Busy and full, but wonderful and fun, also i take it with my boyfriend Its an art class for Computer art design, like were learning and using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Painter and more. My anniversary last sunday was Incredibly Wonderful, i never had so much fun and felt so much love in awhile. I actually got to spend the entire day with Diego at Santa Anita mall with $900. I spent like $200 and on nothing but sales, i got gifts for people like my sister and my best friend Amanda for her birthday which was yesterday Hopes she likes it. Tuesday was my boyfriends b-day as sme knew hes dead here at DA. I want a Digital Camera!!! I have way to many art pieces to big for the scanner that would need to be shot. Oh my parents finally paid me back the money they barrowed...

But before all that, i did my first photo shoot and is starting off my modeling career this tuesday, some photos could be seen in scraps. Me and my hubbies Anniversary is this coming Sunday Jan. 9th. I'm starting school again this monday from 8:30 am to 12pm Monday thru Thursday eek. Oh and i past all my Fall classes with an A in Art, C in Anthropology, C in Astronomy, and B in US history! I was so freakin happy, especially how i saved my ass in Astronomy by getting an A on my final I made a new ID as most could see... and i hope in time i will get time to draw and submit more, I hope everyone has a great January and productive new year!

Yesterday i went to an Appointment in Los Angeles with a modeling representative company! And this friday i'll be doing a fitting (fashion choice-what clothes i should wear for the shoot) and a photo shoot on Sunday!! Im so excited, Diego went with me and he said he would come with me to any photo shoot or appointment as long as its not interfering with his schedule because i truelly need him there, hes my confidence, courage, reason, protection and so much more, he makes me feel good And i hope i do to him too. He says he happy for me, and thats what matters most.

Yesterday i had a b-day party, and it was so great! I had gotton to see and be with most of my friends, so exciting and fun. I was mainly running around so i practically watched them But i was also suprised to see both sides of my family at my house at once!
I loved it, i hope everyone there did too. But as for today, my real birthday.... boy does it suck, i woke up to angered fighting parents who ended up yelling back at me, and no "happy birthday" except from my sister (but later in the day i had got one from my friend and sister )
Nothing but a downfall. And right when i was so depending on going to the movies with my wubbie (Diego) adn eating out, he had to call and say his day went to shit and his parents wont let him out..... I know he had came yesterday, but since i was actively hosting the party i was only with him for like 2 hrs all together. Tomorrow i have a modeling agency appointment in LA, i hope it goes well and that my parents actually take me this time.... because actually, i was sheduled for the 11th last week, but when time came my parents said to ask for tomorrow. So tomorrow came and they said to ask again... and this continued aas a pattern for the rest of the week till today... tomorrow i will hopefully go and maybe she will not hate me for prosponing so many times...
I have a test friday, a 5 paged report and an exam coming up... all strict on my grade..... I hate my life. It always gives me short minimal happy-great days then trashes and crashes them in no time. Lovely....
I gotta go, i have to finish cleaning my house... since i have been cleaning it since 8am this morning. For everyone who hasnt seen it, i recommend it highly! And friday also came out my other all time favorite movie, Shrek 2. I love many others, but those are the two great movies in 3d, also Finding Nemo...

You dont have to listen to my recommendation, its just a heads up on how Outstanding that film is. Its hilarious too.

Anyway, other then that wondeful movie, im failing all my fucking classes in college but ART1!! Yipee.........
I suck, im bummy, but watching that movie let me smile. For halloween i was Casual chinese dress Chun-Li, and when i get the chance i'll download in the photos. Halloween Day sorta sucked, till two of my friends (ones i havent seen for a while came over. I was so happy

I try falling it into the conversations, but they just tell me to empty out the car which is full of stuff they bought. My mom soon tells me "we were walking to the next building when we noticed its 4" Yeah, and you dont have watches and dont have the idea of this thing in your head. Later that night, with my parents saying shit about me never doing anything in the house and that im not responsible(and those who know me and believe me, know i do the fucking house every day and night except when im at school-which they believe as ditching my chores-) and then i have to help my brother DO his homework, because i guess hes a fucking idiot who doesnt know how to do or find anything....even though he seems so skilled in EverQuest...... Me and Diego finally got time to watch a dvd... We saw Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind-- Gorgeous sorrowful and brilliant must-see movie!!!-- And then he had to go home....

So here we are today, and still no notice of yesterday, and still hearing the bullshit i live with. Some of you who read this may think, why dont you just go get your drivers license... Well for:
1- My parents never let me get near the dmv to get the book and study nor go to the site either, and even if so, i dont get time to study peacefully either.
2- If i get my license they'll make me do all these fucking erronds and trips for there lazy asses.
3- Or I would get to go anywhere because im the oldest, and in order for my parents to go out and have fun i need to be home watching my siblings who are old enough to know not to open the door to strangers and burn down the house.

Im being bitched at the get off the computer and fix my life to clean this hell hole house for the rest of my life. Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Oh, if anyone remembers, i had talked about trying out Modeling in a old journal, and in so, i applied with many companies. The Company is John Casablancas Modeling and Careers Center, they're internationally famous for renound models such as Tira Banks(how ever you spell the whores name) and Cidy Crawford or whatever, their companies lay all over the country and out. Im excited, but also in a thought of failure....

A deviant here at DA submitted a pic of mine, not neccesarly saying its theirs, but still showing it as their submittion. They even edited it.

She also stole fanfic form this girl there named Stephaneee, me and her and countless other people have already talked to the moderators of that site, and they are who e-mailed me about the thieft. Thank you those who reported her aswell, and not to worry, because i did too. She erased my signature from the pic, so that got me mad.

We go to the cafeteria together, and when i find my fav. bottled coke isnt in stock today, i get a cup to get a large drink from the Soft Drink refill machine thingy, to see that all the Wild Cherry Pepsi is out of order, so i get a regular cup of coke. But before i fill it wit coke, i go get some ice, but since i have a bag in on hand i had to put the cup down under the ice despencer, and i press the button and the ice hits the cup and soon i have ice all over the floor. I cool down and get in line, after my friend introduces me to some of his new/old college friends. I pay for the thing, i it down with my friend and eat my chips. He tells me he has to me one of our other friends at the Library, So we get up and i drop my chips on the floor, he picks it up which i hate! Cause i would've done it, i just had to put my stuff down again---i know you were being kind Cesar, and Thanx --- So we head for the library, but then i remember, i cant eat or drink in th library, but he says "ah its ok, everyone does it" And im one of those horrible badluck with trying to do bad things person, like im always get caught. But amazingly, we get in and not touched for an hour maybe, but the friend we were looking for isnt ther, so we go to another place, a lounge. We get ther and the other guy says hes at the library when Cesar calls him. So he goes back. Im here at the Lounge with one another of my friend's new college friend, we talk awhile it goes well, finally a calm time, and in about an hour and a half i gotta go to the spanish 2 class. When my friends come back together, they say they wanna go eat at Carl's Jr. We get ther and its packed, so we head for Jack and the Box, but thats packed too, so we head to Mcdonalds which is a little farther but actually pretty empty, only two of us actually get someting form ther, but our other friend goes to this Armenian resturant not to far off, like to mini stores over . But yeah, so we eat togther there. Then we realize we have like 15 min to get back, we walk back but split soon cause our classes are seperate. And when i get to the R building, i see the waiting area for the elevator is packed, so i screw that over and head up the stairs, which i really didnt want to do, cause my feet are still swollen from yesterday, my legs are still sore, and i had to go really badly to the restroom. I get ther, go to the upstairs restroom, and head to the class 1pm on the dot. AGHHHH!!!! I wrote almost a page full of a journal and the freakin comp got stuck! So i lost all of it before i could copy it ><

Anyway...when im calm and got this anger outta my head, i will write it again.... for the mean time, heres just my day today only: I went to go get my bloodtest done for lead....and i hate Hate HATE HATE NEEDLES! And my mom decides to make me go first, so i was crying and whining, pushing and stalling time Im a baby when it comes to needles, thats why my mom put me first she says But yeah, i got my prescription today, because i found out yesterday i have Broncitus--i know i spelt that wrong-- so i have to have an inhaler and pills daily. I cut my hair yesterday, not really a hair cut, more like a trim And got new shoes Sunday was my bro b-day party, pretty dull except for my friends being there aswell as Diego. Which reminds me,>< Diego is going to school almost for everyday of the week, so i dont get to see him much I miss him

My siblings start school tomorrow yes...... But as for me.. im still stuck for a year or so. Well, i'll stop rambling for now, till i update i guess

We played the game Cranium, Dance (not real dancing, we were playing around) we did Kareoke--i know i spelled that wrong-- and play SMBM on Gamecube(i dont believe you could play it anywhere else) and went home at 11. Overall, both parties were good, at 's party was a LAN party, but late that night we went to go see Excorist the begining...the begining of the movie was good, then near the middle to end got way worse, it kinda like died as it was rolling. I heard there were two directors or something, the first guy wanted the movie to be contemperary as the real first Excorist movie, but the other director said... no no thats not what people are into these days, gots to be all hollywood..... And thats exactly what he did to the rest of the movie....

Anyway, on other matters, im sorry for those submittions i havent commented on, i havent been on for longer then half an hour or so, so i dont get long to check on those, especially now that i have 214 to go through ><. I cant believe i actually sang for the kareoke... luckily they didnt get it on tape like the others muahhahaha

Sonce i forgot completely of my cafepress site, i decided to try and post it regularly on my journals for now on, also the groups im in and all. So here i go:
