I'm the principle horn in the middle band (that means first chair, aka, the best. lol.) which is pretty good for a freshman i hear. I have a friend who's a music major who's a junior now, i think? lol, anyway, she was with me at the audition and it was pretty fun.
I also made the JMU Symphony (i think that's what it's called...) and supposedly its the most select ensemble or something, so i'm wondering if that's a mistake...since i gave (in my opinion) a crap audition.
all my other classes are ok, but i'm in a required gen-ed called "the fundamentals of human communication"...and if anyone knows me well enough, they'll know i hate things like public speaking/speechmaking...which is the whole idea of the class! ugh...

I went to see the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra perform the Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy concert!!!!!!! XDDDDDDDDD
It was super fantasticccccc.....If you love the music from Final Fantasy, or classical music in general, its a lovely and lively concert! IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!! <333333
lol, but something bad happened after the first song....this big dude and his...um...GF? came and sat next to us...and i feel sick just talking about it, but...THE GUY STANK TO HIGH HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!! DX
it was sooooooo disgusting...i had to sit next to him for the whole first half! I kept gagging and coughing and i couldn't help it! I HATE THAT!!!! how can someone go into a public place, let alone a concert put on by a respectable orchestra, smelling that awful....?
and it wasn't just me and my family...everyone around us was holding their noses...
luckily i got the collectible t-shirt and i was able to change during intermission...'cause my clothes reeked 'cause of that dude...i was sooooo angry...even after leaving and coming home, taking a shower, and practically shoving soap up my nose...i could still smell it...it was in my head at that point.

and me, being extremely dense, looked at them forever and was like, "no idea..."
there was nothing on there that said anything conclusive except for a date. (Sept. 29)
mom was like, "ring any bells?"
"no......?"
Then i was like, "Wait, are these Muse tickets?!"
My parents had been hiding it from me and the t-shirts were kind of like a build-up to it.
they were gonna wait till my birthday....(sept.) but i'm glad they didn't.

i was so in shock that when i went to drink my dr. pepper, i missed my mouth and spilled all over my shirt and (white) jacket...

I got a new french horn for college! it's a "Conn 8D-Vintage"
they make 150 a year, mine is 15! lol
