I feel bad for my watchers (the ones who actually pay attention). Partly because I take for-freaking-ever to update, and partly because I'm so eclectic with my art. Also, I heard a Deadpool spinoff movie has been confirmed (with Ryan Reynolds as DP of course). I have some mixed feelings, but the predominant one is excitement. I'm sure after all the shit Fox probably got for fucking up Deadpool's origins in "Wolverine" that they wouldn't dare mess it up again. At least I hope they've learned their lesson. Although I'm worried they might just roll with what happened in "Wolverine" to avoid many ignorant people (ones who don't know the truth about Deadpool) from getting confused. That would suck. A lot. Then I might actually have to kill something.

Onto another topic (I'll try to be as brief with this one, but it will be hard, and the PMS doesn't help either). I subscribe to DeadpoolAndFriends on YouTube, and they recently updated with some shocking news: [link] Deadpool fans, set your WTF meters to stunned. I almost wish I could have seen my own face while watching this. At first I was going "...What?" Then gradually I became more and more pissed off until I was practically seething. Fox, you SUCK! I've seen characters butchered before, but I think this takes the cake. LASERS!?!? What the FUCK were they on when they came up with this!?!? AARG! Just--seriously. I can't-- I'm not even capable of thought right now. Just...AARG!!! Thank you Fox for ruining my world. I was SO looking forward to this movie, now I just don't know... I still want to see it, just for the sole reason that Deadpool is IN it. No matter how non-Deadpool they may have made him. Hopefully BETTER and more accurate movies are spawned from it. We can only hope for the best.

I woke up at around 7AM (blast my cursed sleep schedule) and waited another hour and a half to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks on Teletoon Retro (as has become my new routine).

Later my mom took me into town to see Coraline (FINALLY!!!) It was awesome! The 3D glasses are really different these days. They ditched the blue and red and now they're just slightly tinted. And they look like nerd glasses. WEIRD! But it was totally awesome. It wasn't as creepy as the book, but it was actually pretty good for that. I was pleased, anyway xD You just have to keep in mind that it's aimed at children, and it's one thing to have words on a page and your own imagination, and to actually SHOW it on screen.

I am SO excited. I can barely contain myself. I saw a preview in the theater for a brand new TIM BURTON movie!!! It. Looks. EPIC. It's CG animation (something new for him). It's called "9".

Taken from IMDB:
"9" takes place in a world parallel to our own, in which the very legacy of humanity is threatened. A group of sapient rag dolls, living a post-apocalyptic existence find one of their own, 9 (Elijah Wood), who displays leadership qualities that may help them to survive.

The conflicted, but resilient group includes 1 (Christopher Plummer), a domineering war veteran; 2 (Martin Landau), an aged inventor; 5 (John C. Reilly), a stalwart mechanic; 6 (Crispin Glover), a visionary and artist; and 7 (Jennifer Connelly), a brave warrior.

Sooo... sounds awesome, right!?!? And apparently it was first a short film in 2005. I MUST SEE THIS! I was literally in AWE the entire time the preview was playing. And when it was over I leaned toward my mom and whispered "The SECOND that comes out you are taking me." And I meant it. I am THERE the moment it's released!

ANYWAY! Carrying on. After the movie we went around the mall a bit and got a few things. I got leather gloves for my Xigbar cosplay, and a cloche hat, because I've been wanting one (I LOOOVE 1920s fashion). And BEFORE the movie I actually talked my mom into letting me get the new Alvin and the Chipmunks CD (because I fsking love them)

Then we went to the comic store because my brother needed a couple more for his college course. And I got a bunch myself xD I got issues 6&7 of Deadpool (although I still need to get issue 4. I'll probably end up ordering it or something), and I also got three volumes of The Question (which my mom will hold onto until I'm finished with Cable&Deadpool, because they're the bigger anthologies and not just single comics).

Then we picked up Chinese and went home, and after dinner I gave my dad the Bambi eyes until he let me play my AATC CD on his stereo. I blasted it xD

And that was my day! How was everyone else's Valentine's Day??

I really don't have much to write about. But I'm bored, and I'm tired of looking at my old post xD

I'm super excited for Watchmen next month, and visiting with Zoe. I don't know what all we're gonna do for a week but I'm sure we'll figure something out xD I have a feeling we'll be watching a lot of movies.

Other things to look forward to this year are:
-Coraline (movie), which is already out in theaters, but my mom came down with a cold and couldn't take me. We'll probably get around to that...soon >>

-Wolverine: Origins (movie), which will be released May 1st, and will have DEADPOOL in it! Sooo excited.

-Cirque du Freak (movie), which is a movie based off of one of my favorite series of books by Darren Shan. Although I have no clue when or if it will be released in the US and Canada, because they have no info on that on IMDB.

-Anime North, where I will be cosplaying Xigbar from Kingdom Hearts. I will be part of a group this year for the first time. I will also be cosplaying The Question from DC comics, along with Zoe, who will be cosplaying Rorschach from Watchmen.

I guess most of the things I'm looking forward to are movies...

In five days I get Cable&Deadpool volume 6. I get one on the 17th of every month... and I forget how that happened. Probably when I'm done with the C&D series I'll try to talk my mom into doing the same thing with The Question series.

And.... I'm done!

On an unrelated note, one of my life's ambitions (or rather, just something I wanna do...) is to write and illustrate a children's storybook A macabre picturebook for morbid kiddies ^-^. I started taking notes, and before I knew it, my little storybook had turned into a young adult/older kid novel D= This happens EVERY TIME! Writing a children's storybook is a lot harder than it seems, especially if you're someone like me whos writings are very wordy -_-; I just can't write something that's SIMPLE and straightforward. *le sigh*

Now, admittedly the novel idea was rather...novel xD So I'm not terribly upset about that. I still have a few things to work out before I can start writing it...OK a LOT of things >_>; I'm not gonna say anything about it here. I fear I have already said too much by mentioning it! I want to write a Spy vs Spy fic because there really aren't enough out there! But my muse is being a b*tch. Another problem of mine is that I keep inventing characters without purpose. My binder is overflowing with these useless people... And I can't seem to write a story that consists of any more than three characters. But my largest and most annoying problem is that I get bored too easily. I can't write about the same thing for too long without getting fed up and ditching the whole thing. It's such a waste of good ideas. And they are good ideas, at least in my own opinion. I'm full of good, or at least decent ideas but they never seem to go far. I get as far as playing out my enitial idea and then I quit because I can't think of anything else to write about. I never know how to end anything. Just like I don't know how to end this post..........The End
