Funny little story: When offered the kitty, by way of as the messenger, I was told that it was a chick. Since this is my first time having a cat, when I got him, I thought that was how everything was supposed to look. Not like it's that blatantly obvious anyway. So I get to the vet, tell them it's a girl, and her name is Saskia. Okay, after the vet goes into the other room to extract a stool sample, she comes back with the cat and say, "You know, your girl is actually a boy." I was like WTF AWKWARD. lol. Anyways, at least I found out pretty early.

Just broke 8 thousand views, so I figured a little Thank You was in order. I've really got to get to posting more stuff, but rest assured it is on the way.

On another note, I'm not doing those feature journals anymore, as it seems that nobody follows through on their part. Meh. It's just annoying, since the whole purpose of it is for us artists's's to help each other out. It's like, I took out the time to do it, but you can't? Whatever, nukkas.

I just found myself in one of those beautifully manic art crazes. I got down and dirty with my tablet the whole night. We made sweet, sweet art-love. It was quite romantic.

It's been a while since I sacrificed my already scarce sleep-hours to make arts, but I was just in the groove. Every time I looked at the clock it was later and later, but I didn't feel like stopping. I just kept thinking, "Heh, well I'm cooked for work." Which brings us to a funny point.

My toilet got flooded. It's so annoying sometimes, like, somebody can literally take a mad light-weight shit, and it still tries to cloggify itself. What a herb. Needless to say, I used the event as an excuse for not going to work, what with the waiting for the landlord and everything. Which was actually surprisingly quick, but whatever, they need not know that. Anyhoo, yeah, I'm thinking it's time for a change in venues. That place been got mad weak-tastic.

I found there is absolutely nothing to drink en mi casa! I've been dying of thirst since last night. Just straight fiending for water, and I think one of the roomsters killed the filter! Why, oh, whhhhhhyyyyyy! Blast it!

Ah, I think my high is fading. lol.

I've also decided that depending on how smooth it all goes, I will be opening a few slots up for...FREE COMMISSIONS. That's right, son, however oxymoronic that capped and locked phrase sounds. It will be 100% Fat-Free Freedom Cakes ©. So hop to it, when I set if off.

I also have some Top Secret (for now) projects on the way, so I'm totally psyched about the move. Work flow is going to shoot up like 2 milli-on per every cent.

On a side note, I went to see Aesop Rock live @ Southpaw on Tuesday, and holy my, it was abso-fuckin-lutely incredible! It was even better than the Irving Plaza performance. This man does such a dope live show.

He was there with Rob Sonic, and his DJ, Big Wiz. Hangar 18 was also there, whom I had never seen live, so that was cool. But the cake for the night was taken when MAD HEADS popped onto the stage for a freestyle. Aes said he had some surprises in store, but I totally wasn't expecting that. Included in the line-up were El-P, Despot, Yakballz (who STAY looking crazy), Windnbreez of Hangar 18, Rob Sonic, Aesop Rock (of course) and the one that took me most by surprise, Slug of Atmosphere/Felt.

Ghad-damn! I've been wanting to see Atmos live for a minute, so when Slug stepped on stage, it was SOOO unexpected, that I almost didn't recognize dude. That shist was too ill. OMG. Cah-rayzee.

I love these underground shows, cos the artists are so chill, like you can actually speak to them after the show. Me and my boy chilled with Aes for a bit, and told him about this story we're working on. He gave us an email where we can get at him! WHOT! Aight, no jinx, no jinx. I was working full-time doing stock work (which, for some odd reason, most people tend to underestimate) at a huge store in the Soho area. It was really cutting into my creative-time and skateboarding. With less hours, however, comes great responsibility. Along with a new state of mind after some heavy introspective work, I can safely say some more illustrations (I will even try my hand at bettering my coloring) are on their way!
